he Mennonite Church USA has reached an agreement with the U.S. government to provide alternative employment for conscientious objectors if the military draft is ever reinstated, Selective Service Director Larry Romo said Tuesday.
The deal would give men a chance to serve the country if they're eligible for conscientious objector status on religious, moral or ethical grounds.
