The latest discovery of fossilized footprints made by four-legged vertebrates overthrows the evolutionary model for how land animals first emerged, says a biochemist.Per Ahlberg, a paleontologist at Uppsala University in Sweden, who led the new research, told CNN, "In the course of a single afternoon I found myself revising the entire understanding I had of my own research."
Rana believes the find basically throws a "monkey wrench" into the long-held evolutionary model.
"Transitional forms are appearing in the fossil record after the appearance of the forms that they presumably evolved into and that simply doesn't make any sense," Rana said. "You have to take fossil record at face value. Evidence has to match the story."...

Luke 16v31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead
Should professing christians be considered christians if they do not believe moses ?
I believe they should not. Not accepting genesis is a sympton of an unrepentant mind set ie exalting mans understanding above Gods word, God has not given it to them to believe.
What should a seeker do about this ? The repentant sinner will be alarmed that his worldview clashes with the Word and will use the many creation resources available to correct the problem
What is a professing christian who does not accept Genesis ? I wold say that person is a practicing atheist. Most atheists or infidel just dont bother with any form of religeous expresion like them a church goer who dosent bellieve genesis is an unbeliever but it so happens they like going to church or feel they ought

most people are pretty polite when i talk about the flood and 6 day creation even tho often i can tell that they think i am simple or mad when people dislike me for it i think about the moment of Jesus return when a great continuous white bright light will be over the whole earth. 'they have made lies their refuge but it will not stand' isiah 28 how terrible it will be on that day for all those that are convinced about naturalistic origins of the universe. The day is coming when God will authenticate His elect and the great work of creation to the wilfuly ignorant. The supernatural creation will in a moment of time become the orthodoxy. Its an amazing thought. Creation is a great way to start talking about the Gospel to, because although they may deride the doctrine of creation the Gospel speaks to the heart and they understand that
I have no doubt this evidence will go the same way as the Coelacanth fish & explained away like "living fossil" by the "brains trust" & accepted by the goons as gospel These believers in evolution have a most fertile imagination & I await their response
Man's capability of thinking is one of the characteristics in which he has been made in the likeness of God. This characteristic distinguishes him from the lower creation. Let us be kind to the evolutionist and admit that he has more intelligence than the monkeys from whom he thinks he evolved. We must admit that he thinks; but contrary to his knowledge, that ability is the result of creation and not evolution. Christians are thankful that God's thoughts have become our thoughts. Christians have the mind of Christ; hence, we cannot ignore Divine principles (I Cor. 2:16). Therefore, we enjoy His thoughts about creation, Christ's incarnation, Christ's substitutionary death, Christ's resurrection, our regeneration, and the prophecy concerning Christ's glorious second coming to establish His kingdom in the renewed creation subsequent to the fall. Without man's ability to think, God could not communicate with His own.
