Silent DC sniper mastermind Muhammad executed
JARRATT, Va. ‚Äď Sniper John Allen Muhammad refused to utter any last words as he was executed, taking to the grave answers about why and how he plotted the killings of 10 people that terrorized the Washington, D.C., area for three weeks in October 2002.

The 48-year-old died by injection at 9:11 p.m. Tuesday as relatives of the victims watched from behind glass, separated from the rest of the 27 witnesses at Greensville Correctional Center, south of Richmond.

Muhammad was executed for killing Dean Harold Meyers, who was shot in the head at a Manassas gas station during the spree across Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

He never testified or explained why he masterminded the shootings with the help of a teenage accomplice. That left questions unanswered about why he methodically hunted people going about their daily chores, why he chose his victims, including a middle schooler on his way ...

Re Jim Lincoln: you are known well for what you apologize for and against, perhaps because of how many times you repeat it.

I was not suggesting that we be any otherwise minded than that of the gospel of Christ. The sore reality is that while the men who keep the law(s) shall live in them, we also must admit that there would not be an executioner, nor a prison keeper, nor an officer if there was no money to pay them (or what is contributed to society that is so profitable?). It is pitiful, how that our government has framed mischief within sets of laws, so that while many profit thereby, others are disposed of as merchandise and numbers and statistics, and the pressure is indiscriminate but how much money is there to cushion the person.

Every potential criminal would rather report that God is in you of a truth, and would have run to turn themselves in to the authorities, before they would repeat their old offenses, if they actually dwelt in the land of righteousness, or if God began to show himself as a God of judgment in the earth: then they would learn doctrine. If we did as Peter said, to honor all men, the baser criminals would repent, and our prominent would loath to do crimes, to the point that if they did, they would confess a accept to be punished.

Yes the Thief on the Cross said in Luke 23:41. "And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds:" so he believed in CP, although a more humane means of the death penalty was desirable to say the least.

rhymnrzn2zion, since no human government has ever been perfect, then why lock up men at all? They are under continual suffering being in jail. There is nothing hypocritical in following what God said to do. The Apostle Paul who didn't deserve to die, or the other apostles for that matter, didn't complain about their fate.

Capital punishment is ordained by God, ]]Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government. It was to be carried out by imperfect human societies. Capital should should be as fair as possible, but if you want to look at it from a purely secular reasoning, why should the tax payer have to give housing etc., to a murderer or have one turned loose on them again?

Man nor his actions can NEVER bring on a perfect society! Man will never build the Kingdom. ]]How the Church Relates to the Kingdom

Here we have a most corrupt society, but hey, a system wherewith to execute bloody men is brought to perfection all right. Surely the bodies of these men will they kill, but, not to the glory of God, or to the end of evil: nay, Satan was none affected. No doubt, the blood of every slain soul, guilty or innocent, shall be required at the hands of the hypocrites who serve MYSTERY BABYLON, who disallow a perfect society and government with their persistent and warmongering vanity.

Jeremiah 48:10
"Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood." (that sword that proceeds from your lips, which is your WORD, for all those of you who seem to be blind)

It was recorded that the British hangman Albert Pierrepoint, if you fell into his clutches, were dispatched in seconds. He recorded that when executing Haig the acid bath killer " I wasted no time with him"!!

Actually, John, while that is probably not your purpose, the electric chair is a much kinder way of executing than lethal injection, One minute the criminal is sitting in the chair and the next he is in hell. Since lethal injection takes time, it is more of a torture. Now hanging could be good for a Muslim! Since it is considered a dishonor to be strangled, though if a hanging is done right it is rather quick since it breaks the neck rather than strangles a person. This is why the Saddam Hussein hanging was a disgusting show of how an execution should have been carried out. ]]Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government

Instead of executing Muhammad via lethal injection they should have executed Muhammad via electric chair. I wish the State where I reside in would bring back capital punishment and start using the electric chair. I could easily throw the switch on the chair and fry those dirty rotten, animalistic insane murderers. I would turn the juice up full blast and laugh and state fry dirty rotten, animalistic insane murderer.

FYI, webpage with comparative international crime stats: ]]NationMaster crime stats

It has some surprises - while the US does have a high incarceration rate (as the media loves to remind us), it is further down the "per capita" list than I expected for many felonies. And peaceful Australia is #1 in several.

But be aware, the figures *are* questionable, since they depend so much upon how crimes are legally defined & how often they are reported, prosecuted, etc.

Unfortunately Hall, R S, the US is heading in that direction. This was one reason he was tried in Virginia, if I remember correctly, they dispense with murderers in the proper way!

]]Rendering To Caesar: A Biblical Perspective On Government as noted in the booklet,

Romans 13
3 For rulers are not a cause of fear for good behavior, but for evil. Do you want to have no fear of authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same;
4 for it is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do what is evil, be afraid; for it does not bear the sword for nothing; for it is a minister of God, an avenger who brings wrath upon the one who practices evil.---]]NASB

If this had happened in the UK, he would have probably got 30 years but released after 20.

Britain does not do justice and punishment anymore.
