Pop star Michael Jackson dead: report

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Pop giant Michael Jackson, who took to the stage as a child star and set the world dancing to exuberant rhythms for decades, died on Thursday, TMZ website reported. He was 50.

There was no official confirmation of the reported death and spokespersons for Jackson could not be reached for comment.

"We've just learned Michael Jackson has died," TMZ said.

"Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back," the entertainment site said. ...

Was there evidence of a conversion in Michael Jackson? (Did Michael Jackson repent, accept Christ?)
Pop idol reached out to Gospel star Andrae Crouch before death
Posted: June 30, 2009

© 2009 WorldNetDaily

The Crouch spokesman said: "He did NOT reject Jesus or the prayer when (we) prayed, and gladly joined in prayer. He usually doesn't touch anybody, but he touched them, and held their hands in a circle as they sang and prayed. There was NO actual 'sinners prayer' however, but they did talk and pray about Jesus and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They also told him, 'Michael, we consider you as our son,' and he said, 'Yes, yes, yes' and gave him his latest music on a CD, and he told him, 'Andrae I trust you with this,' and gave him CDs of 2 songs ... unpublished, beautiful music."

You are so correct! Pergatory is foolishness and not biblical whatsover. The pope is not the head of the Church, Christ is..... And what about confessions to a priest? Sure hope he can keep all your secret sins to himself? LOL! My sins are between me and God himself. I don't pray to Mary for intercession either. She can't hear yours prayers anyway. Neither can the Saints! Wake up people. You put more investgative work in your investment portfolios and IRA's than you do your eternity. Get into Gods word and read for yourself.

Michael Jackson, the moonwalking former child star who became known the world over as the "King of Pop" before his life and career deteriorated in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday, a person with knowledge of the situation told The Associated Press. He was 50.I will not set in judgement over Michael Jackson, he was a great performer, and though he was accused of being a child molester, nobody really knows if that's true, or if it was just a way for someone to make cash today. I just want to say we can't believe all that we hear, Hollywood is full of rumors. If it's true, it's in Gods hands, not ours. I say god bless his soul and my condolences to his family & loved ones. Let him rest in peace. I never knew him personally so I can't say what he did or didn't do. He paid his dues, so be it. Farewell to a great performer. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with me, but I won't lose any sleep over the way I personally feel. So say what you will about my opinion, it's on you. My mourning for MJ has been that he did not know the only true God through Jesus Christ. But then I heard on the radio that MJ was visited by Paul and Jan Crouch and given the Gospel message. As one who heard the Gospel through a false teacher could it be possible that MJ did hear and receive the message of salvation through Christ alone? Only God knows if he did for He is truly gracious and merciful. If I were to make a judgement on this I would have to say, No, MJ died an unregenerate. MJ's good fruit came from a bad tree.
I've also heard that Rabbi Schmuley was his spiritual advisor. All the more reason for me to groan about MJ's spiritual state at death.

Didn't know that. But it doesn't surprise me at all. I guess the JW's couldn't hang onto him.
I'm surprised that "djc49" knows anything about anything.

But, I figured that since my Christian Br. & Friend JV informed me that "djc49" is just "an empty suit" who "cuts, glues & pastes others' opinions" to make himself look intelligent--that he would at least know something about something.

Nevertheless, Michael Jackson was born & raised in Gary IN.

I believe The Jacksons were raised Nominal Black/African-American "Baptists" (Like Malcolm X, Cassius Clay [Mohammed Ali], etc.) BEFORE associating/affilating with "Jehovah's Witnessism" or "converting" to Mohammedansim ("Islam").

One would have to understand the "ghetto" life of South Chicagoans & Gary Indianans (Hoosiers) to fully comprehend how Micael Jackson could first be a "Baptist", then a "JW" & then an "Islamist" in his lifetime.

He had a very Heavy-Handed Father--Who Slave-Drove The Jackson-5 To National Stardom.

Michael Never Had A Close & Trusted Father-Son Relationship With The Senior Jackson.

Resulting In His Adult Male Insecurity & Effeminate Tendencies.

*Pedophilia May Have Been A "Thorn-In-The-Flesh"/Besetting-Sin That Michael Jackson Struggled With.

I have to say that I find it quite troubling that some of the people who have responded to this news story seem almost happy that a man, as perverse as he may have been, is now suffering an eternity of hell NOT just because he was sexually perverted, immoral, and helped to ruin many lives in the process; his chief sin was his personal hatred towards the one true God, a hatred that all former children of the devil share, and an insatiable desire to blaspheme God by glorifying self (John 8)! His condition was the condition of all of us at one point: spiritually DEAD and incapable of coming to the saving knowledge of Christ on our own (Eph. 2:1). Have we so quickly forgotten that none will come to the Father unless Christ first calls them (John 6:44)? How dare we gloat over these men, referring to them as sodomites (though they may be) with such disdain as if we weren't capable of far worse if but for the common grace of God! Some of you seem to write as if being saved by grace alone from an eternity of torment in hell was your great idea! Wake up, and let it be a lesson to YOU, if any of you are resting in your self-righteous pride and false piety, to pray for men sicker than MJ, that our holy LORD Jesus would spare them from the same miserable end He, in mercy spared us from!

B.J.R.....you seem to be right on target. As I said before, and this is only my opinion, we must pray that God opens their spiritual eyes before it's too late. How's it down in Kansas?

I did not follow Michael Jackson or any movie idle for that matter; however I understand that God is not happy with his death.
Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
I would say to all reading these messages. Jesus said “… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6. Please think and seek eternal life through the only begotten son of God.

Let's not forget that it's Gods grace if we see different, namely, that we detest the godless type of music that m.j. sang. The Bible says so rightly that "the natural man does not recieve the things of God because they are spiritually discerned. I am blessed to be a piano teacher with many students here in N.J. I have studied the origins of music of centuries ago, where our music came from, etc. The "junk" of m.j.'s music is nothing at all like the way music was meant to be, namely, beautiful harmony, beautiful instruments, etc., etc., and of course the fact that all music [singing, instrumental, etc.] must be to the glory of God. It is God who gives us the very breath to sing His praises for with He is so worthy. We must be much more of a witness to these masses of people who are so spiritually blind, ignorant, and so on. We could be in the same sad situation as these poor folk, were it not for God's grace, as I said before. If I go to hear Handel's Messiah for an example, and then hear one of m.j.'s songs, it is so repulsive, ugly [musically speaking]and of course, God is not glorified at all. Any feedback? By the way, I also know very well that the kind of music that we like, even in the church setting, can be quite controversial!

People never learn. No need to wonder why, it is clear. There is no if, as to where he is. No time for a deathbed confession in this case neither would it have mattered since he was not in Christ, neither did he care for such things. What is obvious is true. Another of those who were consumed by the world and like it that way. Apply the below to all others who choose his course. Their end will be no different. Others best believe, but most won't. It's always their choice. No one to blame but themselves. Man thinks he knows more or better than God. He always finds out too late he never did run anything. So is the case with all, in that terrible place of torments.

“Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7)

Psalm 55:23
Bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days.

Proverbs 10:27
The years of the wicked shall be shortened.

Proverbs 24:20
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.

Ecclesiastes 8:13
But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow.

What is really sad, is that for two whole days, all the media oulets were obsessed with the story. Two other celebraties died, and one of the most important votes ever inour country concerning taxes was taking place. But, people were showing what they really worship. A pop star that likes sex with boys.

Hey Maxi...

You pray for the dead and I will pray for the living dead, that with God's will and Grace they will be saved.

If a person dies and goes to hell no amount of praying/petitioning or indugences will get them a transfer, I detect you believe in the doctrine of works and purgatory, it's nothing that we do it's everything He, Jesus did!

Prayers for the dead, the day of the dead, all nonsense.
