For the first time, the BBC, the world’s largest broadcaster, has appointed a Muslim to head the religious programming unit.
Aaqil Ahmed, who has been serving as an executive at another channel, was named to the post earlier this week. The position as head of BBC’s religious programming is considered one of the most influential religious roles in the United Kingdom.
British Christians, in response to the news, have expressed a range of emotions from anger to encouragement.
RtG, probably what will happen is that Christianity will still be attacked on the BBC but the ]]Inadequacy of Islam will be overlooked even more -- if that's possible.
"For the first time, the BBC, the world’s largest broadcaster, has appointed a Muslim to head the religious programming unit."
That should help the Christians.
As it happens at the moment we in Britian don't get any REAL Christianity on any of the BBC's productions. The religion of Liberalism dominates the airwaves and the TV. Foreign religious philosophy is in keeping with their complete ignorance of truth and moral decline anyway.
So having a heretic in charge is actually no change!!
