Hate crimes' bill likely to pass House, thanks to Dems
A Republican Congressman who attempted to derail the controversial "hate crimes" bill with numerous amendments says, in the end, the Democrats simply had the votes to ram it through the Judiciary Committee.
The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act would add gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, and disability to the list of protected categories under federal hate crimes law.
Proponents of the bill claim that Christians and others who speak out publicly against homosexuality are not threatened with the same type of prosecution that criminals would face for committing acts of violence against homosexuals and transgendered individuals. But Judiciary Committee member Steve King (R-Iowa) says that is simply not true....
Psalms 2:1-4 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

It's been a dark time for conservatives for many years.
The Republicans couldn't "block the process" when they controlled Congress for 12 years, and both Congress and the White House for 6 of those years.
Look for Jesus to return before common sense returns.
I'm pretty sure Jesus is in jail already...at least it seems that's where all the convicts find him most of the time just before they are sentenced or when they are coming up for parole. I'm afraid with the latest senator jumping to the Dems side that it will be a dark time for conservatives. There is actually no telling what kind of mad laws will be passed now that the Republicans can't block the process. Look for common sense to make a comeback in the mid-term elections, hopefully, but until then pray and hold on to your hats. Maybe people will realize what is happening over the next couple of years, but with the media in bammy's pocket there is no way of knowing.
Let's see, now. God Almighty says very plainly and clearly in the Bible that homosexuality is a SIN and that those who are involved in it are reprobates. He has placed such people under condemnation and wrath. QUESTION: Since this makes God Almighty guilty of a "hate crime" who is going to arrest Him a put Him in jail? Do I have a volunteer? Perhaps the UNGODLY members of congress would like to step forward.
As is all too common, that "Christian" site doesn't tell the whole truth about the proposed bill, but only plays up emotionally provocative implications. It seems that both "Left" & "Right" cannot report news they deem unfavorable w/o resorting to such propaganda methods.
Let us criticize the bill *as written* & ignore news media hype. I'm sure we can find fault enough without their help.
