Episcopal minister defrocked after becoming a Muslim
Ann Holmes Redding has what could be called a crisis of faiths.

For nearly 30 years, Redding has been an ordained minister in the Episcopal Church. Her priesthood ended Wednesday when she was defrocked.

The reason? For the past three years Redding has been both a practicing Christian and a Muslim.

"Had anyone told me in February 2006 that I would be a Muslim before April rolled around, I would have shaken my head in concern for the person's mental health," Redding recently told a crowd at a signing for a book she co-authored on religion. ...

I agree.

However I think we, as Christians, should all get into our heads once and for all that Allah is NOT YHWH, in spite of the hype.

YHWH has always been close to His creation, and has always tried to touch us at a personal level (sending His Word incarnate to save us!), even if we don't deserve it.

Allah is aloof, distant, basically indifferent, and finds the idea of incarnating in human flesh repugnant... it is more a god of the Gnostics than anything else.

So, the next time you hear someone praying to the "lord" or worshiping "god," don't just automatically assume that it is YHWH or Christ Jesus. The god of this world is spreading his ancient deception far and wide, making it palatable to modern "sensibilities." Pray for wisdom, "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places" (Eph 6:12).

I've spent hardly any time around female clergy or theologians, but I've heard plenty of emotive religious nonsense from the male sort & their sympathizers.

The problem with many female church leaders is they let their "emotions & feelings" come before the mind of God & the Word of GOD. Women are a beautiful work of God but having both lobes of the brain hooked together may enlarge their feelings but decreases godly sense of evil, untruth & impracticality. But men can go that way also. I feel GOd is a blue bippy & I shall live my life in that thought, to complete my life!!

It is good that the insane dame Episcopal priest was kicked out of the priesthood for thinking that she can practice two contradictory religions simultaneously. She should not have been permitted to be ordained an Episcopal priest in the first place because the Bible prohibits women from being ordained into the clergy.

"It's all there. I am not saying you have to go somewhere else to be complete. Some people don't need glasses, some people need single lenses. I need bifocals."

It's a more telling illustration than she thinks. She doesn't see Christianity or Islam with any clarity at all.

"Redding said she does not want her belief in two religions to diminish the value she holds for both Christianity and Islam. Each faith by itself is enough to fulfill a person spiritually, she said.

"It's all there. I am not saying you have to go somewhere else to be complete. Some people don't need glasses, some people need single lenses. I need bifocals."

The female bishop in Rhode Island claims this woman has integrity, yet decided to defrock her. Confusion compounded by the confused.

The woman herself reveals much about her motives: it's all about being "fulfilled," being "complete." In other words, it's all about self, and nothing to do with God and the Lord Jesus.

One would think that the rich man would have called out upon seeing Lazarus in Abraham's bosom, "Please forgive me for my cruelty toward you!" Instead, he reveals the selfishness of the damned when he commands (think of it!) Abraham to send Lazarus to dip his finger in water to cool his tongue.

One day these poor deluded blind people will recognize their "bifocals" were wholly inadequate to give them sight. May I pray the Lord will have mercy on them now while there is time and save them from darkness.

""Both religions say there's only one God," Redding said, "and that God is the same God. It's very clear we are talking about the same God! So I haven't shifted my allegiance""

Lets face it Liberals can be anything they want to be EXCEPT Christian!

The fact that this is a female which the Anglican's allowed to change the Law of God and enter the pulpit meant that she never was a Bible believing Christian in the first place.

The sad thing about it is that the whole Anglican edifice is rotten to the core and tumbling but cant see the truth.
