CAIR campaign: Jesus was Muslim
A new $60,000 advertising campaign by the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations that claims on Florida buses that Jesus was a Muslim is drawing protests.

"Apparently they will say anything to try to get people to convert to Islam. What ever happened to honesty?" asked a blogger on IslamInAction.

According to a report in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, dozens of people turned out today for a rally to publicize their opposition to having transit buses in the region carry the message, funded by CAIR, that says: "ISLAM: The Way of Life of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad." ...

You realise, of course, that according to the latest scholarship, Winnie the Pooh was a good Muslim ... see the wonderful parody here:

a] "Mocking is OF SATAN"
Really???
GOD says: "I WILL MOCK when your dread comes" (Prov 1:26)

b] As for mocking being "pure evil," perhaps you should have read 1 Kings 18:27 where "... ELIJAH MOCKED THEM, and said, 'Cry aloud: for he is a god; either he is talking, or he is pursuing, or he is in a journey, or peradventure he sleepeth, and must be awaked.'"
According to Sharon S., ELIJAH partook in some "pure evil." Huh.

c] Well, at least Herod thought that MOCKING was cruel because: "when he saw that HE WAS MOCKED OF THE WISE MEN, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem" (Mt 2:16)
Leave it to "wise men" to partake in pure evil which is of Satan! Huh.

d] I defy you to show where Scripture calls mocking cruel. You see, S.S., it all depends upon WHO is doing the mocking, and who or what the object of mockery is. And YES, there are those IDEAS, DOCTRINES, TEACHINGS, and HERESIES which deserve nothing but our derision and mockery; some so odious as to be not worthy of debate.

"Giddyap horsie! Yee-hah!"

That jerk deserved a brickbat upside the head...

I knew when I posted that that someone would quote Prov. 1:26.

In every other case, and there are many, mocking is considered cruel.

In Isa. 28:22 "Be not mockers. ."

Matt. 27:41 "Chief priests mocked Him [Jesus]"

I think this may have been the hardest trial that Jesus bore . .to know that the very ones created by God, and some of for whom He would die, MOCKED Him. How CRUEL!

So, mocking is considered cruel by Scripture, and Jesus did not mock anyone.

As to those whom you say deserve such mocking and worse, I think I would be in tears to see people so terribly lost, and to know that but by the Grace of God, there go I.

See 2 Tim. 2:23-26

"But refuse foolish and ignorant speculations,....

And the Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be KIND to all, able to teach, PATIENT when wronged,

with GENTLENESS correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held capti

This sort of thing must never be debated. It must be mocked and ridiculed and just held in ourtright derision. Jesus himself mocked the Pharisees, we must mock the Pariahs. It is pointless to debate the delusional. Call evil what it is and just mock them. Satan can't stand humor, and he can't stand being mocked. Remember, when we all are called home, we will look on the wretched Lucifer and his minions and shake our heads in disbelief as we say: THIS is the man who led so many astray, who did so much evil? He won't look so tough then. Pray for your enemies, but mock whatever they may lie to you about....and maybe, just maybe they will be shamed into looking for the truth.
Mocking is of Satan, and unfit for Christians. You are advocating Christians to sin. Shame on you!

Actually, even non-christians with notable character would not resort to such low-level tactics. Mocking is just pure evil.

I suppose the next ludicrous advert will say Jesus was an atheist.

No the real truth about Islam is that Satan is a Muslim, Liberal, JW, Papist, .........

Wow, they could have just shortened that slogan to "Islam the way of Satan!" ]]"CAIR: U.S. Should Ask U.N. to Seek Gaza War Crimes Trials". As always, the ]]Inadequacy of Islam.

Ah, just can't help to quote His Unholiness in one of the few things he got right!
