Pope canceling interfaith progress, Italian rabbis say
VATICAN CITY — Italy’s rabbis said Tuesday they were pulling out of the Italian Catholic Church’s annual celebration of Judaism, saying recent decisions by Pope Benedict XVI were negating 50 years of interfaith progress.
The chief rabbi of Venice, Elia Enrico Richetti, cited the pope’s decision to restore a prayer for the conversion of Jews deemed offensive to Jews in Easter Week services of the old Latin Mass.
Gentlemen, what excellent answers you gave John Y. John, you have already said that, in effect, you are hypocrite pretending to be Catholic before your family, friends, etc. They would never know by your actions you were a Christian. I might add John, no Christian Church worth its salt would want you! Stay away from any Christian Church! We have too many leaders in the "Protestant" community such as Warren or Schuller, who by their actions show they aren't Christians either. Until you are ready to bear Christian fruit, stay in the Catholic Church and keep your poisonous fruit. Visit a Christian Church, but don't pretend you are Christian when you do! Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying you have totally repudiated and rejected all the unscriptural RCC doctrines and if you have totally repudiated and rejected all the unscriptural RCC doctrines then the only logical inference is that you are not adhering to the Doctrine of Apostates?

You repudiate nothing, John Yurich USA. NOTHING!
As a matter of fact, by your continued SILENCE and by your weekly attendance of the RC Mass, you tacitly AFFIRM & BEAR WITNESS to the validity of the Mass including ALL its unbiblical elements. Your bodily attendance proclaims your practical beliefs.
Stop playing the game -- going through the motions -- and take a stand. Make your walk align with your silent "talk."
As it stands now, neither *GG* nor *Lance Eccles* recognize you as their Roman Catholic brother. And for good reason. And guess what else: neither would any of your LOCAL RC parishioners *IF* they knew what you actually believed in your heart.
But you won't tell them. You want to play "double agent" thinking that no one will be the wiser ... not even yourself!

2John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
Plain teaching and succinct in message JY. DON'T be a partaker of evil deeds!

You are correct GG that these Evangelical Protestants on here are wacked out for believing that there are no individuals in the Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Church and Mainline Protestant Churches that have received Jesus as their Personal Savior. These wacked out Evangelical Protestants on here believe that only in the loony Evangelical Protestant Churches are there individuals who have received Jesus as their Personal Savior.

What I mean about your 'dishonest attitude about my(your) beliefs' is that you actually believe that you can secretly hold ideas in direct denial of Catholic Church teaching, sneak like a 'thief in the night' into Mass each week and no one, not the Pope, your local Bishop, your priest, or the people that you share the pews with, will be any the wiser. I imagine that you think that you are even fooling God. Be honest....JY...let your true beliefs agree with your practice....Or CHANGE YOUR BELIEFS OR YOUR PRACTICE. If you can't be honest before God, how can you ever hope to be honest with yourself?

Just HOW many doctrines of the RCC can a "Catholic" (such as yourself) NOT believe in before he is considered outside the RC faith? Let me put it another way for ya, Johnny: If a man is baptized a Catholic and grows up believing NONE of what the RCC teaches yet still attends their mass -- going through all the motions -- is he still considered a RC?
YOU reject several MAJOR fundamental Dogmas of the RCC, namely, 1) the sacrificial nature of the Eucharist, 2) the primacy and infallability of the Pope, 3) the bodily Assumption of Mary ... and probably several more.
And you still call yourself a Catholic?
Go ask a priest an see what HE thinks about your standing in the RCC!

Hmm, John Y., I messed up ]]Christian and Catholics -- never together!, I do remember you being complimentary to Lutherans, and as Martin pointed out,
Martin Luther wrote: Those who do not know God in Christ arrive at this erroneous conclusion: "I will serve God in such and such a way. I will join this or that order. I will be active in this or that charitable endeavor. God will sanction my good intentions and reward me with everlasting life. For is He not a merciful and generous Father who gives good things even to the unworthy and ungrateful? How much more will He grant unto me everlasting life as a due payment in return for my many good deeds and merits." This is the religion of reason. This is the natural religion of the world. "The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God. ( 1Co 2:14 .) "There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." ( Rom 3:11 .) Hence, there is really no difference between a Jew, a Mohammedan, and any other old or new heretic. There may be a difference of persons, places, rites, religions, ceremonies, but as far as their fundamental beliefs are concerned they are all alike.
Ah, back to the good old days. It won't be long before the Vatican joins the world attack against Israel and resumes it's Iquisition to root out the "heretics".
Lance what does SB mean? There is only way to Christ, and John Y., if you attend the RCC, a church that teaches ]]The Doctrine of Apostates, then you are anti-Christian -- for a person such as yourself who has been exposed to the truth , here. Yes indeed, DJC49, that is correct. John Y can no more call himself a Catholic, and to do so would make him a candidate for the most intense psychological evaluation imaginable.
John Yurich USA from USA, by your own admission, have heretofore relinquished your right to be known as a Catholic. Your excommunication is automatic by order of RCC doctrine and protocol.
The next stage is difficult, but not impossible: COME OUT of the RCC for ever, and no more align yourself with God's enemies.
If it helps, stay home and worship God, read your Bible and pray daily for guidance from the Lord Jesus Christ speaking through his word.
If you are truly born again, you will be LED by the Spirit of God, and HE will tell you what to do next.
John UK wrote: ... it would be preferable to have the writing from a bona fide authoritative RCC website.
Unfortunately, John UK, there is not even ONE "official Roman Catholic website" on the entire Internet. Not one. Not even www.vatican.va is THE official RC website.
But let's look at the "automatic excommunication of John Yurich USA from the RCC" question from a different angle:
Let's say I wanted to BECOME a Roman Catholic. What would I have to do? I'd go to a RC priest and he would "catechize" me, i.e., instruct me in ALL the DOCTRINES and DOGMAS of the RC faith which I MUST accept before I could become RC & be baptized into the RCC. If I do NOT accept ALL the essential teachings of the RCC [there are many], I will NOT be admitted. Now, ... three of those essential DOGMAS are: the sacrificial nature of the Eucharist; the primacy & infallability of the Pope; the Assumption of Mary. Reject any one of these, and you're out of consideration as far as becoming a RC. John Yurich USA, while CLAIMING to be a Catholic, rejects ALL THREE!
What is it therefore logical to conclude? Well, the same thing that was stated at that website I posted up: he's automatically excommunicated.
He better talk to a priest about it or remain in his comfy DARKNESS.
