Survey: Students Lie, Cheat, Steal, But Say They're Good
NEW YORK – In the past year, 30 percent of U.S. high school students have stolen from a store and 64 percent have cheated on a test, according to a new, large-scale survey suggesting that Americans are too apathetic about ethical standards.

Educators reacting to the findings questioned any suggestion that today's young people are less honest than previous generations, but several agreed that intensified pressures are prompting many students to cut corners.

Other findings from the survey:

_Cheating in school is rampant and getting worse. Sixty-four percent of students cheated on a test in the past year and 38 percent did so two or more times, up from 60 percent and 35 percent in a 2006 survey. ...

Many pastors and preachers do not like this guy, or can come up with things against him and his ministry. And there maybe some among you that say the same. But I tell you this works, I’ve seen it work first hand, and his ministry has been a gift to me from Heaven. I thank you Lord for bringing Ray Comfort’s teachings in to my life, I pray that Ray’s ministry will help your walk with Jesus and show you how to evangelize with power. But not with your power, but the power of the Holy Spirit.

Here are few clips to show it to you in action, let’s get to work.

Thank you, Faithful. Please pray for my witness to him as well.

Thanks San Jose John for the response to my post. I believe it is quite "normal" to be aware of our sinfulness upon reading the Holy Scriptures and also because the Holy Spirit dwells in us. Thankfully we have an Advocate with the Father(1 John 2:1) when we feel the struggles we have with our sin-corrupt flesh and the temptations thrown at us. I hope and pray your unbelieving brother will come to a knowledge of this as well, so he can claim the perfect righteousness which Jesus Christ has obtained for those who believe the Gospel. We cannot boast of ourselves, as Paul says to the Ephesians, "By grace are ye saved through faith...Not of works, so that no man may boast..."

Hmm...but the Bible says "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves." So, they are not good but are deceived. But the verse goes on to say "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." May such deceived cheaters confess and receive forgiveness of their sins.
Yes. One example of such "deception" is the whole self-esteem issue which prompts one to passively if not actively try to forget just how bad people are and can become.

My unbeliveing brother is 50 and I'm in my late 40s, but whenever we get together and reminise about our shared past, he has a much more difficult time remembering the bad things we did as kids, while I remember them very clearly. I can't be sure, but I like to believe that this is because he wants to think of himself as a good person while I know by the Holy Spirt's conviction through God's Word that I'm a very terrible sinner.

I have Isaiah 51:1, which helps me remember; while he has modern, self-glorifying psychology, which helps him forget.

Castanet, you hit the nail right on the head. Thanks!
