A California school system refuses to say what action, if any, it will take after it received complaints about a kindergarten teacher who encouraged her students to sign "pledge cards" in support of gays.
During a celebration of National Ally Week, Tara Miller, a teacher at the Faith Ringgold School of Arts and Science in Hayward, Calif., passed out cards produced by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network to her class of kindergartners.
The cards asked signers to be "an ally" and to pledge to "not use anti-LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) language or slurs; intervene, when I feel I can, in situations where others are using anti-LGBT language or harassing other students and actively support safer schools efforts."...
Nathan from Australia said: "The other question is why would you send your precious children to one."
Yes why? I lovingly posed the same question to my R.C. family members when I sought to share the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ with them recently. I asked them, in light of the ONGOING clergy sex abuse scandal how they could in good conscience, place their children or their grandchildren in a R.C. institution? For to do so is to engage in reckless endangerment and be found an accomplice to child abuse. To this they took offence ? ? To which I said: "Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" Gal.4:16
"Then said he (Jesus) unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!
It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones." Luke 17:1-2
The same must be conceded of public schools, whose curriculum includes the advancement and promotion of a pro-homosexuality agenda as well.

I've noticed that one of the most effective ways for government to gain control of any private, independent entity is to offer "help", initially. Then (over time) use that same "help" as leverage to influence the group (allegedly) being helped.
Eventually, as the one being "helped" becomes more complacent and reliant on the "help", the government then takes control entirely.
Generally speaking, this is how "dependency" is created, and it's not just the public schools to which our parents, over time, delegated virtually all of their kids primary education.
One of our church's pastors used to be a (very discrete) missionary in Iran. He spoke of how one formerly independent Iranian church eventually became government-controlled years after the government simply offered to supply them with free light bulbs!
Never underestimate the subtlety of ANY government.
I am not saying that I agree with this, but I would like to point something out.
Most kids who get made fun of with "anti-LGBT language" aren't actually gay kids. It might be a boy who for example appears to be more feminine than the other boys his age.
Not using any language to put anyone else down is a good thing in the long run cause it protects people regardless if they are gay or not.
But yes, a 5 year old doesn't need to be told about this stuff. And in fact if there ever is a "pledge" signed at school, it should be a pledge to not making fun or saying negative things about anyone not just one group.
Indoctrination of 5 year olds concerning sexually-oriented subjects is an abomination. At that age, these little ones have little or no awareness of what homosexuality et al even means. Why awaken their tender consciences to such subjects? IMHO, such propagandizing at such an early age is straight out of The Pit.
THe problem for the 21st century church is are we ready for the time when the govt will TELL us to love the gay lifestyle? If we wake up, we will stand our ground. If we sleep... Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
