Major Shift in Faith Voters toward Obama, Survey Finds
Not only is Sen. Barack Obama ahead in general national polls, but a new survey finds that the Democratic presidential candidate has made significant inroads among faith voters.

In comparison to the 2004 Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry, Obama has made significant gains among monthly worship attenders. Among this group of voters, who attend religious services once or twice a month, 60 percent support Obama in 2008 compared to 49 percent for Kerry in 2004, according to results from the report, ‚ÄúThe Faith and American Politics Survey,‚ÄĚ sponsored by Faith in Public Life and conducted by Public Religion Research. ...

In this age of misplaced loyalty and phony faith, many "professing" believers have no problem with baby murder and civil unions. Since truth is relative and optional, it's "Obama time".

I tried to post twice on this thread ten hours ago and neither time did the post appear. I don't understand.

Hey Jim:

The simple truth is Barack Obama has run a better campaign, and he is the better candidate of the two. John McCain is old and tired as demonstrated through his erractic and unstable campaign. Did you see the way he walked around the stage at last week's townhall debate? He walked liked and "Old Man." Did you hear him say to the people: "My fellow Prisoners?"

Amen Doug! It's so sad to see so many professing Christians voting for the same old ungodly, unbiblical politicians out of the fear of a man.

If the Lord is truly sovereign over who wins the election, why vote on the unbiblical basis of fear and which evil is the lesser of the two?

As a devout Christian, there is only one party and candidate for which I may vote: The Constitution Party ( and Chuck Baldwin, their presidential nominee and Darrell Castle, their vp nominee.

The simple truth is John McCain is no better than Barack Obama! He tries to play the conservative crowd, but even they are on to him. Is it no wonder why conservatives have never really supported McCain?

He is phony! I ask that you listen to McCain really well and you will discover that the man has no message...and it is he, not Obama, that demonstrates an erractic, unstable, and immature demeanor!

"But young white evangelicals are more likely to favor either same-sex "marriage" (24 percent) or civil unions (28 percent) than older evangelicals. Sixty-one percent of evangelicals age 35 and above want no legal recognition of homosexual relationships.

In other words, young white evangelicals are 2.5 times more likely than older evangelicals to say gay couples should be allowed to marry."

If I'm not interpreting this right, someone please correct. The numbers don't add up to the "more likely" results

Nothing like voting for one's on destruction? God no doubt will give them what they ask for.

Amazing His Unholiness can get some things right, but then won't apply it to his own church! ]]The Perils of Popery
