"There's already an army ready to be mobilised, an army of compassion." ...

Bible Thumper, amen! Rick Warren, has no valid role to play in Christianity at the moment. ]]The Gospel According to Hybels & Warren and,
Gil Rugh wrote:
As believers committed to Jesus Christ, our involvement in social or cultural issues is sometimes misunderstood. The desire to concentrate on what God has called the church to do - teach the word - requires us to be selective in how we spend our time. The choice to limit our involvement comes from the desire to be obedient to God.

Almighty God provided the resources that go into every plastic bottle and aluminum can and gasoline tank.

Unthankfulness is a sin in which surely each of us has had a role.

Our Holy, All-Seeing God does care about waste and needless destruction of the earth.

“…when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were THANKFUL; but became vain in their imaginations” – Romans 1:21

“He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great WASTER”. – Proverbs 18:9

And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and SHOULDEST DESTROY THEM WHICH DESTROY THE EARTH. – Revelation 11:18

“'Somehow we have to figure out how to get business and government and churches to work together," he was quoted by AP as saying.'"

Ummmmmmm...Isn't this the case NOW?!

Oh wait...Warren is being used to pre-conditioning the populace.

"...and Muhummad Yunus, a banker and economist from Bangladesh who came to prominence for his use of microcredit loans to the poor.

....Regarding freedom of expression, there is a joke often told in Arab world. At a meeting, a US journalist says: "We have complete freedom of expression in the US. We can criticise the US president as much as we like." The Arab journalist replies. "We also have complete freedom of expression in Arab world. We can also criticise the US president as much as we like."

Apparently the Salvation Army won't take Rick Warren in. ]]The Church and Social Responsibility.
