Obama says 'my Muslim faith'
A verbal slip by Barack Obama, in which he made a reference to "my Muslim faith," unleashed a barrage of Internet attacks Sunday.

The Democratic presidential candidate appeared on ABC's "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos, which aired Sunday morning.

Obama was -- ironically -- addressing the false rumors that he is Muslim. He suggested that Republican rival John McCain was behind them, according to ABC News.

]]Obama a disciple of Alinsky who admirers Lucifer
Sarah Palin took a swipe at Obama for
being a ‘community organiser’.
Obama's job description's from Alinsky's book
‘Rules for Radicals’
dedicated to Lucifer, the ‘first radical’--for whom ‘change’ was the mantra. And by ‘change’, he meant a Marxist revolution achieved by slow, incremental, Machiavellian means which turned society inside out. This had to be done through systematic deception, winning the trust of the naively idealistic middle class by using the language of morality to conceal an agenda designed to destroy it. And the way to do this, he said, was through ‘people’s organisations’

One organization would possibly be the Black Muslim mosques, from which Obama hired a number of his staff.

Also useful are 'black liberation theology' so-called 'churches' which exist to spread revolution.
The impression is that community organising is a worthy if woolly and ultimately ineffectual grassroots activity. This is to miss something of the greatest importance: that in the world of Barack Obama, community organisers are a key strategy in a different game altogether; and the name of that game is revolutionary Marxism.

I'm not an Obama supporter, but it's really unfair & dishonest for you to post a headline like "Obama says 'my Muslim faith.'" Look at the video--it wasn't even a slip of the tongue! Come on, keep it clean.

Much ado about nothing.
Sadly, a Republican and former Texas governor has said repeatedly that Muslims, Christians, and all religions worship the same God

To say that Obama is right is like saying the Mormons worship Jesus. Just because the man they worship has the same name, it's not the same person.

For Obama to say he's a Christian let alone a Muslim no matter how you want him to mean it, is like me saying I'm an elephant. It just ain't so.

To Democratic Conservative...your technical slant is a sad indict on so many not willing to see the reality of things as they are.

Technically you wrote the truth about our Lord. Sad you can't admit the deception openly about Obama.

Technically, a TRUE (Judeo)Christian is really THE TRUE MUSLIM !

Let me explain.

According to Webster's Dictionary:

The English word "Muslim", pronounced 'muz-lem', a noun:

comes from the ARABIC word "muslim"; which Literally means: "one who submits (to [the True] God)".

Therefore The Ones Who Really & Truely Submit Themselves to The TRUE Almighty GOD are The TRUE (Judeo)Christians; NOT the "Mohammedans": Or those who Follow "Mohammed" as The One & Only True & Final/Last Prophet of THE TRUE Almighty God.

For OUR TRUE & FINAL Prophet, Priest & King is Almighty GOD (The SON) HIMSELF: The LORD JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth in Israel !

"GOD, who at sundry times and in divers manners Spake in times past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days Spoken unto US by His SON, whom He hath appointed Heir of ALL Things, by whom also He Made The Worlds;

Who Being the Brightness of HIS Glory, and the Express Image of HIS Person, and Upholding ALL Things by the WORD of HIS Power, when HE had by HIMSELF Purged OUR SINS, Sat Down On The RIGHT HAND of THE MAJESTY On HIGH:

But Unto The Son HE (The FATHER) Saith, Thy Throne, O GOD, is For Ever And Ever: a Sceptre of Righteousness IS the Sceptre of THY Kingdom." Hebrews 1:1-3,8

Technically, Obama is RIGHT !

I Corinthians 15
39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes.

JFB Commentary in part wrote:
flesh—animal organism [DE WETTE]. He implies by the word that our resurrection bodies shall be in some sense really flesh, not mere phantoms of air [ESTIUS]. So some of the oldest creeds expressed it, "I believe in the resurrection of the flesh." Compare as to Jesus' own resurrection body, Lu 24:39,Joh 20:27; to which ours shall be made like, and therefore shall be flesh, but not of animal organism (Php 3:21) and liable to corruption. But 1Co 15:50 below implies, it is not "flesh and blood" in the animal sense we now understand them; for these "shall not inherit the kingdom of God."
Neil, as you can see from the above, some creeds can be misleading, especially when used as a mantra. IHCC does not use it's statement of faith as a mantra, and it has been revised on occasion, Some creeds have to be as well. Gil had good things about the Apostles' Creed, but I can't find that sermon at the moment, so I'll go with this, ]]Introduction to Colossians.

Sen. Barack Obama employed and continues to employ senior staffers who belong to the Nation of Islam, and the presidential candidate has some "worrying" ties to the controversial group headed by Louis Farrakhan, a former key Obama insider told WND.
The former insider, who spoke on condition of anonymity, expressed particular concern that Obama employed at least two Nation members in his early days as a state senator, when his office was staffed by only a handful of workers.
"When you're a state senator, you have little money given to you to hire staff. It is ironic that two of Obama's employees in those days were known Nation of Islam activists ..."

And MOONgodwalker may be an employee doing some more Obama puffery here..

Answer; because he isn't a christian, God has not given him the eyes see or the ears to hear.
Shame on the so called evangelical preachers who rubber stamp this man's spiritual credentials.
Could this be the man referred to in revelation?
Max:

If you're from London, then I don't believe you're a Christian! The UK and all of Europe is very Anti-God and Anti-Christ. I was just over in London, and visited Spurgeon's old church.

I was told that in a City of 8 million persons, London has less than 2 percent of their population that goes to church/and/or even profess any kind of relationship to God/Christ.

Therefore, while you're judging the authenticity of Obama's faith, I question yours as well!

Max: I doubt that you will hear McCain say that Jesus is the only way either. Every candidate from both parties during the primary campaign paraded themselves before Israeli political action committees (A.K.A. "lobbies"). They weren't doing that because they like the way the yarmulke flattered their receding hairlines. They all know that without the support of the American-Jewish controlled media, entertainment industries and financial institutions they have a snowball's chance in hell to get elected. To quote a belief in John 14:6, a political candidate in the USA might as well circumcise his throat. George Junior learned that lesson very well. The reason his father lost re-election was because he tried to cut American aid to Israel in his term of office, a fact conveniently forgotten by the media and sadly most Americans. A look at Junior's cabinet and you should quickly realize that "NeoCon" is "Newspeak" for Zionist.

Jim, once again [ad nauseum ], that creeds can be abused doesn't imply they shouldn't be used at all. Your own IHCC has a Statement of Faith, which, being a paraphrastic summary of doctrines you believe, is just another name for a creed or confession. Even the Anabaptists have had the 1632 Dordrecht Confession. I still await a logical argument against creeds.

The popular hymn "My Faith has Found a Resting Place" is self-refuting when it says, "My faith has found a resting place, Not in device or creed ... It is enough that Jesus died, and that He died for me."

I wouldn't conclude that Obama is a "Manchurian Candidate." Islam, Catholicism, Black-Lib Theology: it's all the same to him, depending on whatever is most expedient at the time. If it ceases to be so, then cast it aside (like he did, Judas style, to his "friend" Wright). To religious chameleons like Obama, Bush, and many before them, theology is like cosmology: too esoteric & meaningless for anyone besides academics to argue about. Eisenhower summed up this attitude well: "Our government makes no sense unless it is founded in a deeply felt religious faith-and I don't care what it is."
Well said. I always thought that he was like chaff blowing in the wind.

Neil, I was through most of your comment, and that was excellent indeed, and then when you came to creeds, creeds can be ok, though they are used like a missal in the Catholic church as an unthinking shorthand in a Protestant one, ]]Introduction to Colossians. It is better to go to the Scripture than to depend too much on creeds.

I like all your sources, Engineer.

I've met numbers of Black Muslims who call themselves Christians.

Mat 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
Mat 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
Mat 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Mat 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
