A Return to Tradition
Worshipers come to St. Mary, Mother of God in downtown Washington, D.C., for various reasons, but many say that a big draw is the Tridentine Latin mass that is said here every Sunday. Soon, St. Mary may be less well known for that distinctive liturgical offering than for the number of big-name government and media types that occupy its pews. Now that Pope Benedict XVI has loosened the restrictions on churches that want to observe the pre-Vatican II rite, more parishes are availing themselves of the option. Call it part of a larger conservative shift within the church—one that includes a renewed emphasis on such practices as personal confession and reciting the rosary as well as a resurgent interest in traditional monastic and religious orders.

But this shift extends beyond the Roman Catholic Church. In Richardson, Texas, the congregation of Trinity Fellowship Church participates in something that ...

Ah, G.G., mechanical mumblings isn't what Christ ever wanted, and the cannabalistic rites of the Mass has never been Christian. ]]The Intention for the Bread & the Cup

Whether the "Mass"/Mess is said in Latin or Any Other Language: it's Still A Satanic Vaticanist Mess !

Note: I remember when I was a spiritually lost Roman "Catholic" child; going to the local Roman "Catholic" Temple of Idolatry on "Christmas" Day. The "Christ"-Mass/Mess was said in a language that I didn't understand (Latin) by a man who I didn't know (although I believed then that he was "sinless" because he was a Vaticanist priest); in a huge place full of statues, candles, gold, pearls, precious stones & a painted image of a woman with the sun & moon under her feet & angels next to her in clouds. I was suppose to pray to her and thank her for speaking to God for me. And that day I went in front of the altar & kissed the foot of a baby statue of what the priest said was her son !

WHAT SATANIC-VATICANIST IDOLATRY & MARYOLATRY !

"And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partaker of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues..."

Revelation (Apocalypse) 18:4

COME OUT OF HER, THE SATANIC-VATICAN, GOD'S PEOPLE; THAT YE BE NOT PARTAKERS OF HER (THE SATANIC-VATICAN'S / ROMAN "CATHOLIC" CULT'S) SINS AND THAT YE RECEIVE NOT OF HER PLAGUES ! ! !

Allan: The UN knows how to count, maybe they can give you pointers. What a pity that your Faux-Catholic friends don't recognize falsified Catholicism and bankrupt Protestantism when they see it. I have often been horrified at the ignorance of many cradle Catholics who don't know their Maximus Glutius from a knot hole.

You say that like the opinion of the UN actually holds some weight on this matter. Would they know the difference between justification and sanctification if they were asked on the street?

Well those Roman Catholics who I spoke of would be horrified to know that a fellow Roman thought they were protestant based. They make all the same arguments you make, except that some of them recognise falsified history.

Those supposed other RC denominations are mostly Prot Churches trying to reclaim their Catholic roots. None of them are allied with Rome. However, there are Catholics who've converted from Anglicanism that are allied with Rome, they are not a separate denom. The key is "do they recognize the Pope as the eartly head of Christ's Church"? If they don't they aren't Catholic. While practices may differ between rites (ie-Roman, Melkite, Ukranian, Greek Uniate, Romanian Uniate, etc.), the major dogmas are the same. Look at Protestants, even fellow Lutherans, Episcopalians, Anglicans, Baptists, etc. differ even within the denom. No way can they be considered united...unless united in disagreeing with each other or in opposing the Pope. Remember, the UN study says there are over 33k, Prot sects in the world.

Check the directory and you'll find a bunch of roman catholic denominations too.

I've met people who claim to be roman catholic (which is all you need do to be in there statistics as one) who's congregation believe all sorts of strange and different things that the official RCC does not teach. Some don't believe in purgatory for example, and others deny the Pope is infallible. Clearly these 'denominations' do exist in the RCC. Not that they would admit it when they get so much mileage from ranting about protestant denominations.

This is true, there is much confusion and chaos, but it is all because everybody interprets Christianity their own way. It's really simple, thus says the Lord "Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths where the good way is, and walk in it; then you will find rest for your souls" Jeremiah 6:16.

It seems to me that the problems that come up in modern languages about Vatican contradictions with scripture can be best avoided by not reading/hearing these teachings in a language that can easily be understood and debated/discussed.

That's one way to avoide being told you are wrong I guess. It doesn't alter reality tho.
