US Anglicans join Kenyan Church
Kenya's Anglican Church has consecrated two US bishops in a move likely to deepen a bitter row over homosexuality.

Bill Murdoch, of Massachusetts, and Bill Atwood, of Texas, will be answerable to the Kenyan Church, although they will serve in the US.

They left the US branch of the Anglican Church - the Episcopal Church - after it consecrated an openly gay bishop.

There are growing tensions within the Anglican denomination around the world, mainly over the issue of homosexuality.

Bravo to Bro. Endorf, from NJ.!
We will certainly pray for these two men to be encouraged in their standing against anti-christian opposition in their assemblies. Now is the time brothers! We must strike while the iron of Reformation is hot in these two mens hearts and pray for continued introspection, not only about this issue, but also about the Erastian errors and history of persecution that the Anglicans have. We pray that God would continue to shine forth His mercy of repentance to these men and that they might help us in America see how far we have fallen from the privilige that we were given in this great place. Pray also for the Kenyan Anglicans to see the end result that awaits them if they grow complacent in allowing papal garb to hamper their own reformation.

Yes, an ironic turning of the tables, isn't it?

I do not espouse the Anglican polity or doctrines, but these two men deserve our prayers. They have done a courageous thing. It is not easy for ministers their age to give up pensions, health care and security for Biblical principal. Who would have ever thought that when Anglican missionaries went to Africa to convert the pagans, that the time would come when the children of the pagans would have to minister to the children of the missionaries about the truth of God's Word?
