Like many people yesterday, Doug Cotton of Plainview made sure to get a Powerball ticket with a chance at a near-record $300 million jackpot.But he did so with mixed feelings.
"It's enticing when it gets to be that high, to feel you've got a chance just like anybody else," Cotton, 52, said last night at the weekly Wednesday dinner at St. Matthews Baptist Church.
