Peres to EU: Israel accepts two states for two peoples solution
Foreign Minister Shimon Peres announced in his meeting Monday with European Union foreign ministers that Israel accepts the diplomatic vision of President George W. Bush of two states for two nations as the solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict.
"I say this to you officially," Peres stressed.
According to a senior diplomatic source, Peres coordinated his statement with Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The two met Sunday to discuss work between them in the upcoming weeks.
EU agrees to delay taxing goods made in territories ...
May I point out gentlemen, that Israel is not very likely to attack Europe.
"In a region of autocracies and theocracies, Israel shines as a beacon of freedom and hope in the Middle East. Its diverse culture, open society and guaranteed civil and political liberties for all citizens, regardless of race, religion, gender or creed, follows closely to Western democratic tradition. It's liberal democracy, in fact, is the main reason that Israel has been able to have remarkable economic development despite being in a neighborhood surrounded by uncompromising enemeies." --- ]]Israel’s Liberal Democracy. 1) I said Peres knows 2) EU States know that the UN cant force them to give Palestinians a State, the ruling is just diplomatic leverage

Peres knows full well the Israeli Terror State would nuke EU Capitals before giving the Palestinians a State.

Probably not any more, but I think Caroline is putting her faith in a broken reed.
