Let's open tonight's service with hymn number 34 that's in your Spiral Gospel Hymns hymn book, number 34. Let's all stand together. It is finished, sinners, hear it! Hear the dying Saviour's cry! Hear the Lord Himself declare it! Justice has been satisfied! It is finished, go proclaim it, to poor sinners far and wide. Holy Spirit, make them hear it, Jesus Christ, for sinners died. It is finished, all is over, Jesus drank damnation dry. What a Savior, what a Savior, see Him now exalted high. It is finished. Look, behold Him, seated at His Father's side. Yonder on the throne, behold Him, Christ our substitute who died. It is finished, hear him pleading, As our advocate on high, His own blood's great merit pleading, Pleading justice satisfied. It is finished, can you hear him? All the work is fully done. Now believing, looking to him, we are saved by God's own Son. Please be seated. Good evening. What a glorious blessing that truth is. I don't know of any more comforting words than it's paid in full. It's finished. First words recorded of our Lord when he was 12 years old and left in Jerusalem was, did you not know that I must be about my father's business? And the last recorded words were from the cross. It is finished. The business that the father sent me to do to save his people, I finished it. What a comfort. What a hope. We don't try to add anything to it. take anything away from it. We have a special treat tonight. Marvin Starnaker is here, Glenda from Fairmont, and I kind of have a West Virginia reunion going on tonight, don't we? I have several folks here from West Virginia. So we're very thankful that you all are here and looking forward to what the Lord has put on your heart, Marvin. There's a little easel on the back wall there. I want you all to take a look at it before you leave. The group that Caleb is going to pastor in Pennsylvania bought a building today. They were able to pay cash for it, and there's some pictures of it up there. So they have a new building. Well, built in 1824, so it's not a new building, but it's new to them and a new pastor. So Just so very thankful that the Lord is providing for that. Robert, RG is not doing well. He missed, was that Sunday they missed or last Wednesday? Anyway, between his blood pressure medicine and his arthritis, he's having a difficult time. So I want us to pray for RG tonight. Let's open our Bibles to Acts chapter 27. I want to revisit a passage of scripture that we looked at Sunday. And I've just been thinking about this passage a lot. And it's such a comforting truth that the Lord has given us here in his word. And we know that all of scripture is written to point us to Christ. And these historical events that are recorded in the Bible are really allegories revealing to us the gospel. And as we read these few verses, I want you to think about the Apostle Paul being a type of Christ. They're on the ship. And we'll begin reading in verse 21. But after long abstinence, Paul stood forth in the midst of them and said, Sirs, you should have hearkened unto me and not have loosed from Crete to have gained this harm and loss. We should have listened to God in the garden, and we didn't. And as a result of our not listening to God, we've suffered great loss in this world. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer, in spite of the fact that you're going to have this great loss, be of good cheer. For there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship. All the stuff is going to be left behind, but there'll be no loss of any man's life. For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve." An angel is a messenger. The Lord likens preachers to angels in the scriptures. And so we will hear from God through a man again tonight. And this angel said, fear not Paul, thou must be brought before Caesar. Now Caesar's name translated means severed. And the Lord Jesus Christ was cut off from among the land of the living. When he bore the sins of his people, he was severed from his father. Father, my God, my God, whilst thou forsaken me, I must stand before Caesar. And lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee." Everyone that God the Father gave to his son in the covenant of grace, and 276 souls on this ship, not one of them going to be lost. Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer, for I believe God, and it shall be even as it was told me. God the Father made a promise to his son in the covenant of grace before time began. God says to me and you, you should have listened. You wouldn't have had this great loss, but be of good cheer. The angel of God has come and brought a message of salvation. All that are sailing with you, not a one to be lost. I believe God and we believe God, not as we ought, The Lord Jesus Christ believed God as we ought to believe God. And we look to him and his faithfulness for the hope of our salvation. Let's pray together. Our Heavenly Father, thank you for your word. Thank you that we have thy dear son, our Lord and Savior, standing in our stead before thee, presenting himself for all of our righteousness, having fulfilled everything that's required by your holy law, having satisfied divine justice by the sacrifice of himself on Calvary's cross, speaking to our hearts, saying, be of good cheer, for I believe God, and it shall be even as it was told unto me. Lord, forgive us for our unbelief. Increase our faith. Cause us, Lord, to have ears to hear. We know that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Lord, we pray that you'd bless this service tonight with your spirit. Pray for our dear brother R.G. and ask, Lord, that you would help him and help the doctors that minister to him and help them to get his medication to where he can be in as good a health as possible. Lord, we thank you for he and Deanna. We pray that you would comfort their hearts in this time of trial. We ask it in Christ's name. Let's stand together. Marvin, just one more congregational hymn and then you can come. Let's stand together. We'll sing hymn number 158, 158 in the hardback temple. Come Holy Spirit, heavenly dove, with all thy quickening powers, kindle the flame of sacred love in these cold hearts of ours. Look how we travel here below Fond of these earthly toys Our souls, how heavenly they go In vain we tune our formal songs. In fame we strive to rise. Hosannas languish on our tongues and our deep homes. ♪ At this poor dying rate ♪ Our love so faint, so cold to thee ♪ And thine to us so great ♪ Come Holy Spirit, heavenly dove With all thy quickening powers, Come shed abroad the Savior's love, And that shall kindle ours. Please be seated. Well, it's good to be with you. This is kind of a wonderful mix of West Virginia and Apopka. So many that I've not been able to have seen for so long, but then there's those that I've seen recently. But you know the thing I've always noticed? God's people, no matter where they are, They love each other, love the gospel of God's grace. It's good to be with you. Thank you, Brother Greg and Trish for your hospitality. I'm gonna ask you to take your Bibles and turn with me to the book of Mark. Book of Mark, chapter 16. Mark 16. I'd like to look at two verses of Scripture, 15 and 16. Before our Lord ascended back to heaven, He commissioned His disciples with these words, Mark 16, 15. And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. Go into all the world. Go everywhere. Preach Jew, Gentile. God's got an elect, and they're scattered all over this world. And you go preach to them. You go preach to everybody. God's going to save his people. He's going to have his own. He that believeth, he that entrusts himself by grace, by the importation of a new heart and is baptized shall be saved. But he that believeth not, he that doesn't entrust himself, shall be damned. Our Lord in Matthew's account of this event here told his disciples that they were to go and preach the gospel and to baptize them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost. Our God is a covenant God. The Father who elected a people from before the foundation of the world and gave them unto the Son. The Son who came into this world and redeem them, live for them, establishing righteousness for His people. And the Spirit of God, when it pleases God, when it pleases God, that's what the Apostle Paul said, when it pleases God, comes and crosses the path of everyone that the Father has given the Son, the Son is redeemed, and He powerfully and calls them out of the darkness and bondage of sin and unbelief. Now, in our passage tonight, our Lord said, I want you to go and you preach to every creature. You know, we do what we can. You come, you assemble yourselves together, preach the gospel, your pastor prepares you, put messages out on sermon audio. We do what we can to preach the gospel. And we know this, as I said a moment ago, the Lord's going to have his people. He's going to save them. But now those that believeth, Those that believe, those that are kept by the power of God through faith, and believe, and believe, and believe. That's when the Lord said, He that cometh. I've heard people say this, well, I came to the Lord back in 1961, whatever. I tell you, when God's people come to the Lord, they come right now. They're still coming right now. He that cometh unto me, he that believeth. And so here's the Lord. Tell him, say, you go and preach the gospel to every Christian. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved. Now, let me make a statement here concerning baptism. Baptism does not save. Baptism doesn't wash away sin. Baptism does not impart grace. Baptism does not regenerate. But it's not insignificant. Baptism is the God-ordained outward expression. It's an ordinance. It's an ordinance. We're not saved by taking the Lord's table. but were commanded to do it. This do in remembrance of me." So whenever a man or woman is regenerated by the grace of God and God calls them to Himself, baptism is the outward expression of an inward work of grace. It's a work of grace concerning Almighty God calling a sinner out of darkness. I believe that whenever he died, I died with him. I was buried with him. When he came out, I was raised with him. Baptism. It's the union. It's outward expression of the union. that a sinner regenerated by the grace of God has with the Lord Jesus Christ. So baptism doesn't save, not by works of righteousness, which we have done, but according to what? His mercy. Mercy. He saved us by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost. Baptism is an act of obedience to the Lord, our God, not for salvation, but because of it. It's the means by which God's sheep, called out of darkness, publicly displays their trust, their association with Him. You know, whenever Glenda and I got married, I went and stood with her, Brother Scott, and we had a ceremony, and he asked us a few questions. He said, Basically, this is what he's saying. Do you want to marry her? Yes, I do. Do you want to marry him? Yes, I do. Do you have a ring that is a token? You see this ring right here? That ring does not make me love her. You know what that ring is? It's a token. It's a token. It's an expression. I'm married to her. So I gave her one, she gave me one. And we had a ceremony. Assemble ourselves together in front of some family and friends and we got married. But that ceremony did not make me love her. That ceremony of marriage was an expression of my love for her. So baptism is not what imparts love and hope and trust and regeneration, but we are commanded, you be baptized. It's a confession, Kevin, of our faith in Christ. And the Lord told us to do that. Somebody said, I don't see why we should. Because he commanded it. And that ends it. He that believeth and is baptized. And how does the scripture reveal that this grace to call a sinner out of darkness? How did that come about? Did it start in time? Well, turn with me to 2 Thessalonians 2, 13, 14. You know this passage of scripture. I love this passage of Scripture. It's just such a blessing in setting forth the glorious sovereignty of God. 2 Thessalonians 2, 13, 14. But we are bound. Now, you know, I looked that word up. You know what that word, we are bound, you know what it means? I-O. I owe a debt. I owe a debt. We're bound. We're bound to give thanks all the way to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit, setting apart by the Spirit of God and belief for the truth Whereunto he called you by our gospel to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Is it necessary to sit under the sound of the gospel of God's free and sovereign grace in the Lord Jesus Christ? Is it absolutely necessary? Yes. Does God save His people under any other message except the gospel? And I'm going to deal with what is the gospel in just a second. Does He save His people under any other message except the gospel of God's grace in the Lord Jesus Christ? Any other message? No. No. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1 16, For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God. This is the dynamite of God. Unto salvation to every one that believeth, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, for therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith. You know, There's many, many, you read different authors, and they're trying to explain. That's a heart from faith to faith. I'll tell you what I believe is as close to what I can understand. The gospel only reveals that righteousness before God is by faith in Christ, unto faith, in Christ, by faith unto Christ and not by the works of the law. It's from faith to faith. We don't, we don't, the Lord doesn't save his people by grace and they perfect themselves by works. I'm not ashamed of the gospel. I'm not ashamed of it. It is the power of God. Now, when we hear the gospel, I've told people, those of you that's been under where I've been preaching, I've told you this before. I believe, Greg, that most of the time when you hear, you talk to somebody, just stop somebody on the street. Talk to somebody that has a religious air about them and ask them, do you believe the gospel? Oh, yes, I do. I really do. I believe the gospel. I said, wonderful. Tell me what it is. Tell me what the gospel is. And that's when you're going to find out that there's a very distorted view by man in general concerning the gospel. This is not an offer. I'm not offering. I'm declaring. I'm going to tell you, this is what God says. I'm going to tell you the truth. The truth is what's going to set a man free. Someone told Brother Scott Richardson one time, they said, you know now, if you start telling people what you're talking about, you're going to confuse them. Brother Scott said, they're born confused. The truth is the only thing that's going to set them free. So when you hear the gospel, go into all the world and preach the gospel, what do you hear? Well, the first thing you're gonna hear is the truth about God. The I am that I am. God who is sovereign. Sovereign in creation, sovereign in providence, sovereign in salvation. He ruleth in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of earth. And listen to this, nobody stays his hand. Nobody has the ability to question. No, no, no. God Almighty is God Almighty. And he told Moses concerning himself, Moses said, show me your glory. Show me your glory. I'm going to cause all my goodness to pass before you. And I'm going to have mercy on whom I'll have mercy. And I'm going to have compassion on whom I'll have compassion. You know what mercy insinuates? I'm guilty. I'm guilty. The Apostle Paul was moved by the Spirit of God in Romans 9, quoting that passage of scripture, to say this, so then it is not of him that willeth, or him that runneth, but God that showeth mercy. If a man or a woman is saved by the grace of God, they're saved because God chose to save them. You're gonna hear, when you hear the gospel, you're gonna hear who God is. God Almighty who never changes. God Almighty who will in no wise clear the guilty. How's he gonna do that? He's gonna have justice spewed out upon a substitute, the substitute. You're going to have the declaration of who God is. Whenever you hear someone saying, well, the Lord God wants to save, but you go, well, I can tell you right now, you're on the wrong track. You're not, you're not going to hear the truth of the gospel of God's grace. Secondly, you're going to hear about who man is. Now, let's just be honest. There's not a little good in every man. There's none good. Not one. Not one. There's none righteous. No man is born, though, desiring to hear the truth about himself. Greg, while we were riding over here, I had an uncle when I was in Louisiana. And he had sat under a man that was faithful for not very long, a few months. One day, my uncle came to me and he said, I'll never, I'll never come back to that church, never. I said, why? He told me I was a sinner. And I'm not a sinner. Well, here's the only bad thing about that statement. Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners, of whom the Apostle Paul said, I'm chief. You find a man or a woman that God has called out of the darkness and bondage of sin, and you know what they're going to do whenever you say, men, all men by nature are sinners. Right here. That's me. That's me. A sinner is one that can do nothing but sin. That's all he can do. I've never thought of pure thought. Ask a believer when you pray, when you pray. How many believers will say, I have found myself so consistent in my prayers that I never deviate, I never wander? Don't tell me that. We're all alike. We're just sinners. Man is born selfish. Man wants to seek his own glory, his own will, his own pleasure. The scripture says concerning a man that his throat is an open sepulcher full of deceit, murmuring, and bitterness. And man by nature cares nothing for the glory of God. Man without Christ is concerned with me, man. Not God. When the gospel is preached, you hear the truth about God, that He's God. You hear the truth about man, then you hear the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ. Who is the Lord Jesus Christ? He's God. He's God. In the beginning was the Word. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was God. And the Word was made flesh. When He came into this world, was any of His deity abased? Nope. No, no. He took upon Himself the form of sinful flesh. and in the form of sinful flesh. He knew no sin, but in the form of sinful flesh, he who is the fullness of the Godhead bodily walked this earth, establishing, as I said a moment ago, righteousness. Went to the cross and laid down his life for his sheep, John 10, 15. Who did he die for? You hear somebody say, well, he died for everybody. Not according to the scriptures. He laid down his life for the sheep. Husbands love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it. You're gonna hear the truth about God. You're gonna hear the truth about man. You're gonna hear the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for a covenant people. He died for those that God had given Him, the Father had given Him, and He redeemed them from the curse of the law. How? Being made a curse for them. And now He's seated at the right hand, unlike you, Greg. I love that. It's finished. It's finished. It's finished. It's finished. If you want something that'll settle your heart, you think about this. I believe Him who is finished, that which only He knew must be finished. I wouldn't even know what it was, but He does. He did. He's the Lord. The Lord before whom every knee is going to bow and every tongue is going to confess that He's Lord. You're going to hear the truth about God, you're going to hear the truth about man, you're going to hear the truth about the Lord Jesus Christ, and you're going to hear the truth about salvation. So you just think about this. Salvation. The rescue. The rescue of a sinner. The rescue of a sinner is not accomplished by this sinner. working by the deeds of the law. Salvation has been wrought out in and through Him who is salvation. I love when Simeon, whenever the Lord Jesus, the infant was brought into the temple, Simeon, I said, Lord, let your servant, I'm gonna have to paraphrase it, let him depart in peace. For mine eyes has seen thy salvation. So when we talk about salvation, we're talking about the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is our life. So God Almighty purposed to save a people from before the foundation of the world, and He chose them in Christ, gave them. And the Lord Jesus Christ came into this world for them, lived for them, died for them. And whenever it pleases God, the Spirit of God will cross their path with the gospel. They'll hear the truth, they'll hear the gospel. This is what they're gonna hear. They're not going to hear a lie. They're going to hear the truth. They're going to hear the truth of God, man, Christ, salvation. And when it pleases God, scripture declares in Ezekiel 36, that the Lord comes to them in mercy and compassion. And it removes the heart of stone, that old stone that has dominion over them. And he gives them a new heart, a new pliable heart. A heart that is tender toward God. Oh, they still got the presence of that old man. He never goes away. You read Romans 7 and listen to what Paul the Apostle says. I was listening to a man or reading a little article that a man wrote the other day and he was talking about when Paul was speaking in Romans 7, he was speaking of himself back before he was converted. Go back and read it. know, the apostle Paul was saying, oh, wretched man that I am. I am. The will is present with me. How to perform that which is good, I find not. Almighty God saves his people and they're going to struggle. They're going to go through the rest of this life. Struggling. But Almighty God's going to keep them. He going to teach them. He removes that stony heart, gives them a new heart, And then through the preaching of the gospel, they're taught the truth about salvation. Now, here's an amazing thought. Salvation. People talk about, well, when I got saved. Let me just read a few scriptures here, and I'll begin to wrap this up. Salvation is said, number one, to be Salvation is eternal. 2 Timothy 2, 8 and 9, Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord. Now, what is the testimony of our Lord? The gospel. That is the testimony of our Lord. Be not ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor me his prisoner, but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Are you telling me that salvation was for God's people, according to his own purpose and grace, and given us in Christ, the one in whom we were chosen, before the world began. Is that what you're saying? I'm telling you what God said. That's what I'm saying. So eternal is salvation. This salvation is said to be present, for the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, those that are perishing. But unto us which are saved, you go back and look, being saved. We're being saved right now. It is the power of God, 1 Corinthians 1.18. You mean to tell me that God is saving us right now? Exactly right. And aren't you glad? Because if He was not saving me right now, I can tell you for a fact, I'd leave. If I wasn't kept by the power of God through faith, I'd quit. How many have we known Greg, think of how many that we've known over the years that were once here and you thought, well, I just, I really thought that they were, you know, I thought that they really were God's people. Why did they leave? Why? They're gone. They're somewhere else. They didn't go somewhere else to go to another place where they could hear the gospel. They're just gone. Why? Unless God keeps us. We're leaving. We can only do this just so long, you don't put up a front. Then after a while, you know, you say, nah, not for me. But for God's people that are kept, oh, they just, Lord, don't take your spirit from me. Lord, don't leave me alone. Lord, if you leave me to myself, I quit. So salvation's eternal, salvation's present, and salvation's revealed to be future. But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us much more than being now justified by his blood. We shall be saved from wrath. through him, so it's eternal, it's present, it's future. Justify, we shall be justified. This is an illustration that I, that crossed my path years ago when I was living in Franklin, Tennessee. There was some bank robbers that held up a bank there in a little old town just north of Franklin. And the police had them hemmed up. And they had a pretty good shootout going. And while all the shooting was going on, there was a female police officer that drove onto the scene and did not realize how close she was to one of the robbers. And when she tried to exit the vehicle, one of the robbers saw her. He was just right there, just right there. And so he stood up and raised his gun toward her, and the other police officers cut him down. They just shot him, killed him before he could shoot. I was listening to a radio broadcast concerning that, and it said that a judge had looked at all the evidence and had ruled on behalf of the police officers and ruled it justified. It was a justified shooting. Now, let me ask you this. Did they take a pistol and shoot somebody? Yes. Did they kill him? Yes. What did the law say? No charge. No charge. No infraction of the law. We are justified by His blood. When I see the blood, I'm gonna pass over you. When I see the blood, am I guilty? Yes. Yes. But covered in His blood, no charge. No charge. No charge. Justified by his blood. We shall be saved from wrath. And then the evidence of salvation that has been established according to God's electing grace and procured by the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ applied in regenerating grace. Something is different in a believer. Turn with me to Luke 5, and I'll wrap this up. Luke 5, verse 12 and 13. And it came to pass, you know all that comes to pass has been everlastingly ordained. You know that. The Lord worketh all things after the counsel of His own will. It came to pass, that when he was in a certain city, oh, look at the divine providence of God. The Lord said concerning going to Sychar, I must needs go through Samaria. Why? There was a woman there. He was going to meet about noon. You think he knew she was going to be there? He knew. When he was in a certain city, And behold, behold. Oh, here's an expression of great magnitude. A man full of leprosy, full of leprosy. Here's a picture of the all-consuming plague of sin. How eaten up? I'll just turn to Isaiah 1. I'll read this for you. Isaiah 1. How eaten up are we? See, this is what man by nature doesn't believe. He doesn't believe This scripture is so. From the sole of the foot, even to the head, there's no soundness in it but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores. They've not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment. We're consumed. In a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy, who seeing Jesus. Obviously, by faith, He's got some new eyes. He's got a new set of seeing now. He sees Him by faith. This is the only hope. Why did He come to the Lord? God had given Him a vision. This is who He is. It came to pass there was a man full of leprosy, who seeing Jesus, fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. If you will, it wasn't an issue of whether he could. The issue was whether he would. If you will, This is what God's people pray, Lord, thy will be done. We are asking, we petition, but this is what we do. We ask the Lord, Lord, what would you have? What would you have me to do? That's what the apostle, well, Saul of Tarsus before Paul, what would you have me to do? If you will, you can make me clean. I know you can, I know you can. You know, if you've ever had some issues of physical issues and you're going for a checkup or you've got some, you know, let's just get down personally, you know, it's you, it's me. Can we not relate to that right there? Lord, I know you can. Would you? Lord, I pray your will be done. I'm asking you. I'm just asking, Lord, if you will, thou canst, you can make me clean. All power is given unto me in heaven and earth. That's what he's told his disciples. I know if you will, you can. And then the scripture declares concerning our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, doing all these things. This was his prayer unto the Father. In John 17, 2, concerning His power, Thou hast given Him power over all flesh that He should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given Him. So His power to heal wasn't the leper's question. His will to heal. A believer is going to seek the Lord. God gives him a new heart. And this is what He's going to say, Lord save me. And the only one that's gonna pray that prayer, Lord save me, is the one that God's already done something for, because he wouldn't have asked unless he did. You go into all the world and you preach the gospel to every creature, he that believeth, he that entrusts. He that believeth and is baptized, outwardly confessing, not for salvation, but because of salvation, shall be saved. But he that believeth not shall be damned. I pray God bless this to our hearts for Christ's sake and our good. Amen. love the simplicity of the gospel. Marvin, if someone was here tonight and never, ever heard the gospel before, they heard it tonight. It's just so simple and so clear. I was looking at this passage in Luke chapter 5 where the leper said, If thou wilt, thou canst. And the Lord said, I will be thou clean. You know, the truth is that no one's ever come before the Lord with saying, Lord, if you will, I know you can, I have no doubt about your ability to save me. But he didn't say, I will be thou clean. The problem that men have is that they think that the Lord is not able to save unless they do their part and help him out. So, Lord, if thou wills, I know you can, I will be thou clean. Brother Tom. 224. 224 in the heart, back, temple, let's stand together, 224. I know not why God's wondrous grace to me he hath made known, Nor why unworthy he Christ in love Redeemed me for his own. But I know whom I have believed with And am persuaded that he is able To keep that which I've committed Unto him against that day. I know not how this saving faith to me he did impart, nor how believing in his word brought peace within my heart. But I know whom I have believed in, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day. I know not how the Spirit moves, convincing men of sin, Revealing Jesus through the Word, creating faith in Him. But I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I've committed unto Him against that day. I know not what of good or ill may be reserved for me Of weary ways or golden days before his face I see But I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day. I know not when my Lord may come at night or noonday fair, nor if I'll walk the Havale with him or meet him in the air. But I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day.
