Take your Bibles this morning and turn with me to Luke 18 as we continue our study through the book of Luke. We're reading this morning verses 15 through 43, answering the question, who can be saved? Who can be saved? Luke 18, begin reading in verse 15. And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them. But when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them unto him and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall know why he is in or therein. And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? And Jesus said unto him, why callest thou me good? None is good save God, save one, that is God. Thou knowest the commandments, do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor thy father and thy mother. And he said, all these have I kept from my youth up. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, yet lackest thou one thing, sell all that thou hast and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful, for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How heartily shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God? For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all and followed thee. And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, there is no man that hath left house or parents or brethren or wife or children for the kingdom of God's sake who shall not receive manifold more in this present time and in the world to come, life everlasting. Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man shall be accomplished. For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spit upon, and they shall scourge him, and put him to death, and the third day he shall rise again. They understood none of these things, and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken. And it came to pass that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the wayside, begging. And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. And they told him that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace, But he cried so much the more, thou son of David, have mercy on me. And Jesus stood and commanded him to be brought unto him. And when he was come near, he asked him, saying, what wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, receive thy sight. Thy faith has saved thee. And immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise unto God. Father, we thank you today for the reading of your word. We thank you for these wonderful stories that happened during the life of Christ on this earth. And we thank you, Lord, how it illustrates to us that people can be saved of all different walks of life. and that everyone can be saved if they would just come to Jesus and trust Him. So I pray you give us understanding today as we answer this question, who can be saved? Help us understand your Word and to properly apply it, Lord. And I ask for this preacher to bring the Word of God and we pray that you would speak to hearts. There could be someone here, Lord, who is not yet saved and I pray that today would be the day of salvation for them. We commit this to you. May you get glory for yourself. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen. There's verses before us this morning. Present to us an answer to the question that the people asked Jesus in verse 26. They asked Him, who then can be saved? Who then can be saved? This question has been asked by many people through the ages. From a theological perspective, scholars have asked this question, who can be saved? And their answer usually includes a discussion of election and the extent of the atonement of Jesus Christ. Some say that the atonement of Christ was limited and others say it was unlimited. I unashamedly say this morning that I believe the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ is unlimited. that Jesus died for all, for everyone. But it's not our purpose this morning to take the message and really delve into that subject. We'll probably do that at a later date. But our purpose is to see what God says in this passage in Luke as we preach through it. Others have asked this question, who can be saved, from a more practical point of view with a personal concern. Some have sinned greatly and they wonder, Can I be saved? Am I one that can be saved? I remember dealing with a man one time who had such a bad background, and I told him the gospel and told him how he could be saved, and he just could not believe that God could save a person like him. And I remember him telling me, he said, my grandfather, my great-grandfather, my dad, all as far back as I know, there's none of our family has ever followed the Lord. And how could I possibly be saved? I assured him that he could be. But some ask that question, who can be saved from a personal interest themselves? And then others ask that question by concern for others. Maybe they have a relative that is really a bad sinner. And they have a person that's gone so far down the path of sin, they wonder if they could really be saved. Could God really change a person like that? But we want to answer that question this morning from this passage, Luke chapter 8. They asked Jesus, who then can be saved? So I want us to look at this passage and answer the question, who can be saved? As we look at it, I'm going to give you several people who could be saved if they would. The first one is that children can be saved. Now we spent the week at Bible camp, junior week, and we had ages there from 7 up to 12. And I'm glad that the Bible says that children can be saved. So our week was not in vain. We preached the gospel. We taught the Word of God. And children can be saved. We saw several of them saved this week. And so children can be saved. We see this in verse 15. And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them. But when his disciples saw it, they rebuked him. But Jesus called them unto him and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God. The disciples tried to hinder Jesus from bringing little children to him. Now, I don't know why they did that. I mean, being around Jesus, they no doubt knew he was a very compassionate person. And why they would forbid children to come? Maybe they thought they were a bother to him. His main ministry, you know, is to reach these multitudes. And they thought the children didn't understand and they didn't want them to come and bother the Lord Jesus. But Jesus corrected them right away and said, you allow little children, you suffer little children to come into me. It's surprising how people will sometimes try to keep you from Jesus. You know, any time someone comes to the Lord, almost any time, you know it's true that somebody has tried to discourage them along the way. We find in the Bible examples of people who were discouraged. Just last week, we looked at the...or a couple of weeks ago, we looked at the widow in chapter 18. and she was discouraged by this judge of bringing her request. I mean, he tried to get her not to. Well, there's people that discourage you to come to Jesus and try to get you not to do that. The publican was discouraged probably by the hypocrite, the Pharisee. You remember the Pharisee stood there and they were both in the temple and the publican was trying to seek the Lord and he smote on his breast and he said, God be merciful to me a sinner. But this old hypocrite Pharisee who looked at him and he said, Lord I thank you I'm not like other men, I'm like this publican. So that publican was probably discouraged by these hypocritical Pharisees, these religious people. You remember the crippled man in the Bible that couldn't get to Jesus and his friends loved him and cared for him. And they put him on a stretcher to bring him to Jesus. But when they got to the crowd where Jesus was, the press or the crowd kept them from the Lord Jesus. And he could have been discouraged and caused to go back home. But his friends said, no, we're going to get you to Jesus. And they took him up on the top of the house and they opened up the roof and they let him down in the midst before Jesus. And so people try to discourage you. Things will try to discourage you from getting to Jesus. And the blind man, we're going to look at in a little bit, he was discouraged because he cried out and said, Son of David, have mercy on me. And the people around him said, shh, be quiet, shut up, don't bother him. But he wouldn't be discouraged. Well, if you try to come to Jesus, There'll be people who discourage you. There's a lot of young people today who they've been witnessed to by others, and yet people discourage them. Their friends will say, oh, you don't want to do that, you don't want to go there, you'll miss out on the fun, and you'll miss out on all these things, and they're discouraged to come to Jesus. But if you can get to Jesus, believe me, it's worth it. It's always worth it when you get to Jesus. But Jesus said, suffer little children to come unto them, unto me. Look at verse 16. Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not, for such is the kingdom of God." What do you mean by that, if such is the kingdom of God? People like little children are part of the kingdom of God, because little children are humble, and you have to be humble to come to Jesus. You can't be proud and arrogant and think you're really something, because you're standing before a holy God, and He is holy, and He's without sin, and you're a sinner, so you must be like a little child, humble, coming before the Lord. You also must be trusting. Little child, trust. And so you must trust the Lord Jesus as a little child, and you must be believing. And the little child is believing as they come before the Lord. And you can tell a little child the gospel when they come to know Jesus as their Savior. Oh, how we need to be like, we need to be childlike like that. I preached on Thursday night at Bible camp. Our theme was The Amazing Race. And I preached about how you can be a participant in the race for Jesus, how you can enter the race. You know, most people are not in the race. Most people are in the race for the devil. But the way you get in the race for Jesus is to be born again. It doesn't take outward qualifications of being slim and trim and, you know, there's fat people in the race and skinny people in the race. And I mentioned at camp there's black and white and brown and yellow and red and all those colors in the race. You don't have to be short or tall. Anybody can be in the race for Jesus except this. You must trust Him as your personal Savior. And so you must come to know the Lord as your personal Savior. And so a little child has this qualifications. They come before the Lord humble. They come before the Lord trusting and believing. And the Lord says, that's the way you have to come to Jesus. And so you must come as a little child. He says in verse 17, Verily I say unto you, whosoever shall receive the kingdom of God as little children shall who shall not receive the kingdom of God's little children shall no wise enter therein." So you can say this, if a person comes to know the Lord, every time a person comes to know the Lord, they must come childlike. I mean, I don't matter who you are, how important you are, when you stand before God, it's a very humbling experience. And to stand before God knowing that Your sin is so bad it put Jesus on the cross of Calvary. It's a humbling experience. And so you must come as a child so children can be saved. Thank the Lord that's true. Another thing we find in this passage is that rich people can be saved. Rich people can be saved. Look at chapter 18, verse 18. And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? The rich ruler asked what he could do to inherit eternal life. You know, a lot of people look at it that way. And their idea of religion is, religion is you trying to do something to please a holy God so He will let you in heaven. I mean, that's... a lot of religions are like that. You know, do this, and this, and this, and make sure you do these things for the church, or whatever, and maybe God will allow you into heaven. And you become a good person, and God will allow good people into heaven. The Bible says that's not the way it is. But this man thought it was. And so he asked the question, he says, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? I'd like to live forever. What can I do to make that happen? The Bible tells us there's nothing you can do and love yourselves except believe. No works will do it. You could have a million dollars and give it all to Jesus and have nothing left, but if you don't trust Him as your Savior, you'll not be saved. You can find all the people around you who are needy, and you can go out and help them as much as you possibly can, but it won't save you. You can turn over a new leaf and quit smoking, quit drinking, quit chewing, quit cursing, quit doing all those bad things, and quit committing adultery, and all that. You can quit everything. Sometimes people say, if you don't stop doing this, you're going to go to hell. Well, that's not true. You can stop doing that and still go to hell. It's not what you do to be saved. And this man had this mistaken idea that you could do something to be saved. Ephesians 2, 8 and 9 says, For by grace are you saved through faith. It's not of yourselves. It's the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. It's not of your works. And so this man wanted to do something, but he couldn't. But this man was a moral man. The Bible tells us that. Let's look at it. Verse 19, And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? None is good but one, save one, and that is God. And this man called Jesus good. Jesus said, now wait a minute, why do you call me good? I read some time where, one time where somebody said of this passage, well Jesus himself said he wasn't good. He wasn't perfect. He said himself he wasn't perfect. And they quoted this. That's not what this verse is saying. Jesus said, you called me good. Now I want to put you on the test, to the test. I want to ask you some questions. Why do you call me good? Because there's really only one good. Now this man's getting ready to tell how good he is. And Jesus said there's only one good and that's God. So if I'm good, I'm God. This man was not ready to accept the fact that Jesus was God. And so he says, why callest thou me good? None is good save one and that is God. Thou knowest the commandments." And notice here he mentions five things. Jesus mentions five things to sort of get this man to think. And he said, you know the commandments. Do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor thy father and thy mother. He tells this man, these are five of the commandments. And the man's response is like this. And he said, all of these have I kept from my youth up. He really thinks he's good, doesn't he? He said, I have all of these I've kept from my youth up. Jesus didn't say that he hadn't. I really don't believe he had perfectly. But he was probably a good man. He was probably not an immoral man. He was probably not a liar, a thief, or anything like that. And so he says, all these I've kept from my youth up. I'm pretty good. Now Jesus heard these things. He said unto him, yet lackest thou one thing. Jesus could look into his heart and see what was wrong with this man. Now he's not telling this man, here's the way you get to heaven. He's causing this man to think and causing this man to come to a recognition there's a problem in his life and that problem is his God is riches. So he says to the man, Yet lackest thou one thing. Sell all thou hast and distribute unto the poor and thou shalt have treasure in heaven. and come, follow me. Sell all you have and give to the poor, and you'll have treasure in heaven. Come, follow me." Well, this man had a problem. He was not willing to give up his riches. You see, Jesus quoted five of the commandments. There's ten of them. One of them is, thou shalt not covet. And the Bible says in Colossians 3, verse 5, covetousness is idolatry. The first four of the commandments, Jesus mentioned five, the first four are you shall have no other God before me, you shall not make any image of any God, you shall not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain, and thou shalt remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. That's the first four. Jesus mentioned the next five. And then there's the last one, the tenth one. And the last one is, Thou shalt not covet. This man coveted. His God was riches. And he held on to his riches. He loved his riches. And it says in verse 23, And when he heard these things, he was very sorrowful, because he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he was very, very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God. So this man was very sorry because he was very rich. In other words, he wouldn't follow Jesus. He would rather keep his things than follow Jesus. You know, when you come to the realization of the fact that you are a sinner and you deserve eternal death and hell, but that instead of you going to hell, Jesus died for your sins on the cross He took all the wrath of God you deserve. He paid the price. He was buried. He rose again the third day. He's alive today, and He wants to save you from all your sins and give you a home in heaven instead of a home in hell. And when you as an individual can say, Oh, no, Lord, I won't follow you because I would not dare give up my riches on this earth. I've got to have those. I'll take my chances. Well, you haven't trusted the Lord, of course. You walk away from Jesus. You know, it's a sad scene when you think of this man turning his back on Jesus. And yet, many people do that because of their things, their possessions. They would live for them, but they won't live for Jesus. But Jesus said to the people around him, said, how hard it is for rich man to get to heaven. And it tells them how hard it is. He said, it's easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. Now, I know there's descriptions about this, about there was a place called the needle's eye and a camel. It was hard for them to get through it and all this. They'd have to go down real low. It was hard for a camel to get through. But I don't know about that. Jesus, I think, is giving an impossibility because He said it's impossible. It's hard for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. It's easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye. Now, I can't imagine a camel going through a needle's eye, whether it's a little needle or it's what they call a needle's eye. God said it's an impossibility. It's an impossibility for a rich man to be saved because what does he do? He has to trust God rather than his riches and he won't do that. Most rich people will not do that. But the Lord gives us a word of encouragement because I said that I'm listing people who can be saved. And I said children can be saved and rich people can be saved. Well, it seems up to this point that we've said rich people can't be saved because Jesus says it's impossible. It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. But then he says this. And they that heard it said, who then can be saved? That's where we get our title for the message. Who then can be saved? And he said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Thank the Lord. Thank the Lord. The things that are impossible with men are possible with God. God can take a person whose heart is covetous, a person whose heart is centered on things, and a person whose God is things, and God can break down that heart and make them come humbly before God and be willing to give up all for Jesus Christ. Now, God won't necessarily make you give up all. There's a lot of rich people who love Jesus, and they give their riches to the Lord, and they're good stewards, and they're a blessing to many people because there's rich. There's nothing wrong with being rich. And some of us need to understand that, because there are people who don't have any riches, and they say things like this, must be nice. You know, they see some person rich, they must be nice. In other words, they're grudging the fact that this person's rich. You shouldn't do that. God makes some people rich. And some people are rich who know Jesus as their Savior, and they do a lot better with their riches than you would if God gave it to you. And I'm not rich, and maybe the reason I'm not rich in financial things is because God wouldn't trust me with it. I don't know. I try to be faithful in what I have. But it's not God's desire for everybody to be rich. And God wants, but God does have some rich people, and they are to give of their possessions to the Lord. God wants us to be faithful. But God says this, it's not impossible. God can save a rich man. And I thank the Lord for that. Well, let's look at another thing. Another person that's possibly saved, who can be saved? Well, a poor person can be saved. They've gone from the rich, now let's go to the poor. Look at verse 35. And it came to pass, as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the wayside, begging. There's a blind man, but he was begging. Let's concentrate on the begging first of all. A beggar is a poor man. No job, little money. He's dependent upon others' generosity. The other day, we were coming back from Bible camp and stopped at the gas station to get gas, and this person drove up. Sometimes I don't help people, you know. This was one of those occasions. It just didn't seem right. This person drove up, and they had the side van door open. A lady was driving. They had side van doors open, and he was sitting on the floor, I think it was. And he said, sir, could you help me with some money for gas? Just some gas. And I was filling up my car because we had to borrow a van because ours wasn't ready. And so the van didn't have a hitch. So the trailer was my car. So Mark and Joshua drove my car behind the van, loaded down with all the luggage. And so I was filling up too, and I said, no, I can't help you today. And there's times when I would help people because the Lord impresses upon me. Somebody, I saw some guy come over and gave him $10, or gave him, I don't know how much it was, gave him some money, and he thanked him for it. And a little bit, they drove around, they asked somebody else, and then they drove around, and they stopped at the gas tank, and they put gas in the car. And then I noticed they left, pulled out from the gas tank, and there were other new people coming. It was a big station, you know, there were new people coming in. And here they go around again and doing the same thing to other people. Oh, could you help us with some money for some gas? I was suspicious about that person. They appeared to be poor. I don't know if they... They might be rich by doing that. I don't know. But there are really poor people. And this man was a beggar, and he was poor. But this poor person can be saved. Because the Bible says in Isaiah 55, those who have no money, come buy and eat. Yeah, I mean you buy without money. How can you do that? Well, God offers you free salvation. It's free. John 7 verse 37 says, if any man thirsts, let him come unto me and drink. You see, all you have to have is the thirst. You don't have to have money to buy something to drink. You come with the thirst. And if a poor person comes with a thirst for God, and they want God to save them, and they trust Jesus Christ as their Savior, they can be saved, so a poor person can be saved. Another thing we see in this passage is that physically handicapped can be saved, because this man was blind. He heard that Jesus was coming by, and he heard the commotion, and he asked about it, and they said, Is Jesus coming by? And he cried out for mercy. And they tried to stop him from crying out for mercy, but he cried out again. And Jesus asked them to bring the guy to him. In other words, he couldn't see and he was going around stumbling maybe or trying to find his way. And he said, help that man get to me. I think that's a command to us. The people who are physically handicapped, we're to help them get to Jesus. But a rich man can be saved, a poor man can be saved, a physically handicapped man can be saved. All these can be saved. But then we have to add this, everyone else can as well. Everyone else can be saved. Let's go back to verse 28 of this passage. Verse 28, "'Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all and followed thee.'" In other words, the disciples were saved and they said, we have left all, we've followed thee, we've been saved, we've trusted you and we're following you, we're saved people. But he said, we, we have left all. Who were the we? Well, there were the workers, those people who were the working class, the fishermen, and then there was the professional class represented with the we, the disciples. You remember Matthew, the tax collector? So from various walks of life, they had left all and followed Jesus. And I believe it really says that anybody can be saved. All of these things may be true of you. You can be saved and anybody can be saved. Children can be saved, rich people can be saved, poor people can be saved, disabled people can be saved. Everybody can be saved if they'll just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and trust Him as their Savior. Mark chapter 10 tells us about the question they posed to the Lord. They said, Oh, verily I say unto you, there is no man, he says, we followed you. And Jesus said, no man that follows me but has left house and parents and brethren and wife and children in the kingdom of God's sake, who shall not receive manifold more in this present time and the world to come everlasting, life everlasting. If you follow Jesus, I guarantee you it'll be worth it. And you have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ, you can be guaranteed of the fact that it's worth it to serve the Lord. In Mark's Gospel, Chapter 10, telling about the same man, it says that you shall receive a hundredfold. And you shall receive a hundredfold, he says, in this time, houses, brethren, sisters, mothers, children, lands, with persecution. It'll come with persecution, but you'll be blessed. You know, if a person comes to the Lord and they trust Him as their Savior, and they have to turn against family to do it, and their mom and dad rejects them and all of that, they'll find other mothers, and they'll find other fathers, they'll find other sisters, and they'll find other brothers. I've had people in our own congregation tell me, this church, these people are nearer, dearer to me than my own family. They're my brothers, and they're my sisters, and they're my mother, and they're my brethren. They're my mother and they're my father. I mean, the Lord blesses those who trust Him and follow Him, but everybody can come to know Jesus. Jesus died for everyone, I really believe. The Atonement is unlimited. He is the propitiation for our sins, not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. John 3, 16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Whosoever, and that whosoever is repeated over and over in the Scripture. Romans 10, 13, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. And Revelation 22, Verse 17, whosoever will come and drink, they can receive. And so the Lord says that whosoever can come, anybody can be saved. Now the question is, how can people be saved? You know the answer to that, but it's given in this passage. Because Jesus told His disciples in verse 32, verse 31, He took unto Him His twelve and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem. and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of Man shall be accomplished." This is a passage that helps us to see the heart of Jesus, and that is He knew what He was going to do for us. It wasn't a surprise to Him. He wasn't a martyr. It wasn't something that came upon him that he didn't know was going to happen. He said, let me tell you what's going to happen to me in Jerusalem. I'm going to Jerusalem. Nobody's going to keep me from it. I'm going to Jerusalem. And when I get there, here's what's going to happen. The Son of Man will be delivered unto the Gentiles. He shall be mocked, spitefully entreated, spit upon, and they shall scourge him. That's the cat of nine tails. They shall scourge him. and they'll put him to death and the third day he'll rise again. There were several times before Jesus died on the cross that he told them what was going to happen. He always included the resurrection, always. He wasn't going as the defeated one. He was going as the victor. He said, I'm going to Jerusalem and I'm going to have all these things happen to me and they're going to put me to death, but I will rise again. When we present the gospel, we must be sure that we present that last part, He rose from the grave, because without the resurrection, there is no gospel. And Jesus presented that. Now, how can children and rich and poor and physically handicapped and all those and everybody else, how can they come to Jesus? Because Jesus on the cross of Calvary died for their sins. He paid the price. He shed His blood. He arose victorious from the grave on the third day. He is alive and He will save all that come unto Him. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son to the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved." If you will not believe the gospel, If you will not believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, if you will not come as a humble sinner and say, Lord, I repent of my sin and I believe that Jesus died for me and I trust what He did for me, I call upon Him to save me, I believe He died and was buried and rose again, I believe that He's the Savior and I want Him as my Savior. If you will not do that, you cannot be saved. You cannot be saved. And it won't be God's fault. I don't think anybody out in eternity will say, I am not saved because God did not choose me to be saved. You won't say that. Because you'll never find anywhere in the Bible where God takes the credit for a lost soul. God always gives the responsibility for the person that is lost. It's their fault. It's not God's fault. John 3, 18, For whosoever believeth on him shall not be condemned. But he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God. The responsibility for salvation rests upon you. Jesus supplied it. He made the way. He provided the way. And He shed His blood for us. He rose from the grave. But you and I must respond. People have to know the gospel so they can be saved. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you won't call, you cannot be saved. Who can be saved? Children, rich people, poor people, physically handicapped people, everybody. It doesn't matter who you are. You can be saved if you'll believe in what Jesus did on the cross of Calvary. Let's take that message to the lost world. And you can never take the gospel to the wrong person because Jesus died for them. Let's pray. Father, thank you today for helping us to see through this passage that those can be saved who will come to Jesus. There's no limit. There's no verse that says you cannot be saved. The Lord says that we can be saved if we will believe. We cannot if we don't believe, but we can if we do believe. I remember the Philippian jailer says, What must I do to be saved? They said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and also your whole house can be saved the same way. Everybody in his house could be saved the same way. Lord, help us to know that. And may we understand as Christians that we bear that news. Anybody can be saved if they'll come to Jesus. And it's our responsibility to tell them about Him. Help us to do that, we pray in Jesus' name.
