I learned this man's poem in the book of the Leviticus in the 8th chapter. It was a man that gets through hell. I hold y'all. That's how I hold y'all? Yeah. I reminded just then, God, I couldn't hear you right. They broke the twins up, Mr. D. Craig and Denae. I'm glad we don't have to keep them. They take a lot of attention, so you might cook more. I understood that. When we get old, we're through with all that, don't we? Do that again, sir. We're happy to see him. I'm going to enjoy the visit. Got to own the twins. First twins I think we've ever had. I don't remember any others for a long, long time, do we? Same for our family. 8th chapter of the book of Leviticus, and I guess we'll start in verse 4 and say that Moses did as the Lord commanded him. Well, he said, hold them out until the land ends. And the assembly was gathered together under the throne of the tabernacle of the congregation. And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which the Lord commanded to be done. And Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water. We've been talking about that a bit lately. And to clean them up, give them persimmon. They couldn't enter in, in their filthy thongs or pots. I did it clean up first. And he put upon them the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the spurious girdle of the ephod, and bound it unto him wherewith, therewith. Then he put the breastplate upon him. Also he put in the breastplate the urim, and the thu. And he put the matter upon his head, also upon the matter even upon his forehead, and he put it on in place. The Holy Crown, as the Lord commanded Moses. And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle, and all that was therein and sanctified them. And he sprinkled air out upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all his vessels, both the lamb and his blood, to sanctify them. And he poured out the anointing all upon Aaron's head, and anointed him to sanctify him, And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and put coats upon them, and girded them with girdles, and put bonnets upon them, as the Lord commanded Moses." In these studies, it's been impressed upon me that nothing is clean outside the anointing of the Holy Spirit. If it didn't come, there's no cleansing. I think in our day, these things are more prevalent than ever before. They would send, the church would send the preacher out and I'm saying the church would send the preacher out. Or He sent any other being out to do something that wasn't sanctioned or sanctified by the Holy Ghost Himself. Now, there may be any good intentions always. The Lord did give a name sign. But how much prayer and consideration do they have to what God said? what He commands. And none of it is sanctified outside of the Holy Ghost. That's a setting aside. Unless it has some influence in it, it's of no benefit to the church or to the people individually. The Holy Ghost is what has influenced everything pertaining to holiness. You can't make anything else out of it. And today so much is done in the name of the Holy Spirit which is just falsehood. Teaching that the Holy Spirit says this and He says that and He says to others without ever considering what God waters. We'll do this our way. And we can't, we can't build a church unless we omit some of these things. We got to kind of go with it, be a little soft. Yeah. Don't preach the gospel. Just kind of nibble around the edges of it, let them feed on that. And most of it is superstition. instead of spirits. In the book of Psalms, chapter 133, and I thought, my man has come to this a lot of times, he seemed to go on how good and how pleasant it is for a brethren to dwell together in unity. Now what set that forth? What made them one? How early is the operation of the Holy Spirit month that all and all of all these things, how the brethren prevail together in unity? Outside of this, he said it is like the precious ointment upon the head, the anointing. It's a flowing fork. The anointing is a flowing fork. At this point, anointing. The precious oil went up on the head that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard. It went down to the skirts of his garment. It covered him up. Wrapped him up. Clothed him if he went. with this anointing, the flowing forth of the altar. That was a sweet smelling savor of the Lord. He's not pleased with anything else but the flowing forth of the Spirit. It's as the dew of a fern and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion For there the Lord commanded the blessing, even why evermore. It was like the dew that come down. It reminds me back to the Garden of Eden. It was pleasant. It just come as is. It didn't wash anything away. It didn't uncover anything. It come down and covered. Instead of uncovering it, covering it. And it was cleansing, and it was pleasant, and it was a sweet smelling scent. Have you ever been out after a nice little rain? And the air smells different, you know. Oh, it was a blessing. Even life. forevermore. That's what was coming down. That was the anointing of the Holy Ghost to give death, that bigotry, to life. And they dwelled in Zion. Them be a dwelling place. Place that's inhabited. Zion. It's going to be good, it's going to be pleasant for a friend and her daughter to live together in union. Now they have all that division and struggle. In the book of Isaiah, chapter 66. Now I want to go to 61. And what I said, I think 61, the Spirit of the Lord God is upon me. Because the Lord has anointed me to preach good tidings unto me. He has sent me bound up to brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. Now I don't know about you, but it comes to mind to me that maybe he's talking about year two believers. Everything's going to be made right. Going to be set back in order. He says to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord. What year is that? When the Lord descended and said, this is it. This is the year. in due time, always in due time, in the Lord's time, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of the angels of our God, to accomplish all that moment. I thought that this year's jubilee, a lot of times, it'd be something good. I wrote it all back It's evening again, you know. It's evening. To the point unto them that mourn in thine, to give unto them beauty for action, the awe of joy for mourning. There's that awe again. The anointing is going to come. Now, what's going to come? What is going to come? What's going to give you power? Wait here until you've been doomed with the power. It comes down from the Lord of Glory. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion and give unto them duty for action and awe of joy for mourning, the garb of the praise for the spirit of death that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified, that he might be all in all, and it's all of him. I thought about the year, the food, and then the year running up, and I thought over it some in the past, And I think two rocks should put in the ether. I think they'd take both of them out, both hands, look and they wouldn't do nothing. But look beyond that unto the Lord, to the Holy Ghost that come. I don't think there's anything inherently going on with this family. They look unto the Lord. It's neither one of them do you any good. but look farther away than the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me. It even gives Jesus Christ the help that he needed to come forward and perform his duty under the Bible. It was in the fluids of the Holy Spirit that brought him forth. Was he only to preach to the people that are in bondage. in Psalm 3 as if to say the year of Jubilee has come in the ninth chapter of the book of Hebrews. It's amazing how much is said about the anointing. Now, everything I've noticed that black people do is all anointed. They throw that word around and use it all the time. Everything's anointed. I don't want to use it too lightly, but sometimes we lay things aside. We talk about the holy ghost, and I think sometimes we can dodge that ghost thing. The Spirit of the Lord is what has come. In the 7th verse of the 9th chapter it says, But into the second went the high priest into the most holy place alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the heirs of the people. The Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost. This signified that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest. While the first tabernacle was yet standing, all pipes and shafts, no manifestation of what was to come outside of the pipes and the shafts. Make no mistake about it, the Holy Spirit was active in all of these things. This is clearly a picture of Him. Which was a figure for the time then present in which we're all provoked gifts and sacrifices that could not make Him that did the service perfect as pertaining to the conscience. Clearly nobody's conscience. It must be the coming of the Holy Ghost that clears the conscience. He said, we stood on their knees and prayed in diverse washings and carnal ordinances imposed on them until the time of reformation in due time. But Christ did come and have preached the good news, come by a greater and more perfect tabernacle. not made with hands, that it was slain out of this building, neither by the blood of goats and gays, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place. Then he obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of ghouls and goats and asses, they would have to sprinkle it too. The unclean sanctified to the purifying, the purifying of flesh. How much more shall blood rise to through the eternal spirit? Read that again, through the eternal spirit. It's come upon the Lord Jesus Christ first to offer up the perfect sacrifice for His people. Eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God to purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God. And for this cause, He is the mediator of the New Testament that by means of death for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal imperatives. Well, men are given gifts. Each one's got a different, some kind of gift. But they're all of the same spirit. And it doesn't have any divisions in it. It's one unit. One building erected unto God to come to his people. Back in the book of the psalm, 45th chapter, it says my heart is inviting a good manner. I speak the things which I have made touching the king. My tongue is the pen of a writer. Thou art fairer than children's lips. Grace is poured into thy lips. You see it's pouring. You see it's flowing. It's always flowing. Like the Lamb. There it goes now. That children of men, grace is poured into thy lips. Therefore, God hath blessed thee forever. Guard thy sword upon thy fight, O most mighty. with thy glory and thy majesty, and in thy majesty write prosperously the cause of the truth, and the meekness and the righteousness of thy right hand, shall teach thee terrible things, wonderful, marvelous things. Thine airs are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies, whereby the people fall under them. Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever. The scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. Now let this righteousness enable wickedness. Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy throne. and thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes and chasms out of the ivory palaces whereby they may be gladdened. He will sleep smelting sand under the fire, and the Holy Spirit has delivered these things unto his people. that they last over but he won. This becomes more and more clear and more and more precious all the time. That's what we call growing in grace and in knowledge of the Lord, the Savior. that the whole scheme of God's purpose becomes more and more clear all the time. The idea of reading that verse later in Hebrews 9, that the Holy Ghost is signifying that the way of the Holy is law and not yet made manifest, while that first tabernacle was yet standing. What in the world do we do to that when the build will burn? That would be cool. Yeah. Just can't see that anymore. Yeah. If there's going to be another temple built, it almost seems like it would be Sacrilegious, blasphemy, fear. Just like the church of Rome where they do their mass over and over again. It's like the sacrifice was done once and the Lord himself said it was finished. You don't want to be wrong. But I tell you sometimes, sometimes things become so clear until it's hard to even think about taking a position of thinking that you might be wrong. I believe in keeping an open mind all right enough, but only to a degree. Some things are so clear, so plain, it'll be hard to help but just say, this is the word of the Lord. Amen. I was telling Well, Bruce earlier was reading a book that he left me. It's called, what was it called? Pilgrim's Progress. I don't know if that's the right term or not, but it's the takeoff of the book of Pilgrim's Progress. And the idea of the author of the book is to simply show that how far the church has gone away from the truth of God's word. reading in that book and I run across a place where, you know, it really questioned my mind. because he's talking about, and I'm going to have to read it and read it and read it because it's hard for me to wrap my mind around what he's saying really, but in essence he's saying that the death of Christ did not literally or actually pay for the sin of God's people, but rather it put It justified him before God so that God was in a position to forgive sins. But he separates between the blood of Christ paying for our debt, the sin debt, and the forgiveness of our sins. So I'm going to have to read that and read it again to try to understand more fully what he's saying. There is a fountain. That fountain is flowing. It does flow, doesn't it? It's not a trickle. It's not a sprinkle. It's not a gust here and there. But it flows and it's described really as coming from the throne of God and it starts out at the ankle, doesn't it? Yeah. And then it's to the knee, to the thigh, and it gets on until it's a stream that you can swim in. And it's all about, I don't care how we approach it, but it's all about the blood of Christ and the payment of our sin debt. That sin had to be paid, basically. Well, Bruce was talking about that earlier. It had to be paid. Brother E.W. Johnson, I don't know how many times I've heard him say that sin must be paid for. And Christ paid for that sin. And it is in the payment of that sin that God is able to forgive, if He will, our sins there. And there is this fountain. And it's still flowing today. And it will be forever flowing. And if you take that away, Brother Bruce, what then? Then it's the wrath of God upon you. I mean, Throughout eternity, those that are saved are still saved by the mercy of God. He's still merciful to them. It will never change. Praise God for that. But He's still being merciful to us because of that shedding of the blood. All because of the shedding of the blood. Right? Without the shedding of the blood, Well, there is a fountain, thank God. There is a fountain.
