I've entitled this video tonight, You Can't Figure God Out, God Can't Be Figured Out. A lot of people spend their whole life trying to figure out what God's doing. Romans 11.33 says, O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God, how unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out. Do you believe that? Do you believe that? I do. If he's omniscient, if he's omnipresent, if he's omnipotent, how can we figure him out? Job 9.10 says, Which doeth great things past finding out. Yea, and wonders without number. Psalm 10 5 says his ways are always grievous thy judgments are far above out of his sight as for all his enemies he puffeth at them Proverbs 3.17, I'm sorry, Jeremiah 32.19, Great in counsel and mighty in work, for thine eyes are opened up on all the ways of the sons of men to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings. Isaiah 55.8, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. Deuteronomy 32, for He is the Rock, His work is perfect, For all His ways are judgment, a God of truth, And without iniquity just and right is He. Job 26, 14, Lo, these are parts of His ways, But how little a portion is heard of Him, But the thunder of His power, who can understand? Isaiah 55 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Well, you know, you cannot figure God out. It's an impossibility. Regardless of how much you try, How many times you go to all these theological books and everything else, you're unable to figure God out because He is all-knowing, He's all-wise, He's He's omnipotent. He's omniscient. He's omnipresent. He's everywhere all the time. He created everything. By Him all things consist. You can't figure God out. So stop trying to figure Him out. You know... A lot of people think they have God figured out. You know, when I was coming up, there was a lot of people that thought they knew everything about God. A lot of my teachers and Bible school teachers and people that I went to school with, they would try to tell me they knew all about God. I knew there was something wrong with someone that thought they had God figured out. His ways are past finding out. I've had a lot of people over the years, you know, try to straighten me out about God. And every time somebody tries to straighten me out, I have to kind of scratch my head and say, wait a minute. This guy thinks he's got it all figured out. One thing I do know for certain, God is in control. He's sovereign. Now people don't want to hear that. But you know, if God isn't in control, who is in control? Tell me that. I always remember the first sentence in the book of Arthur Pink. He says, Who is orchestrating the affairs on earth today, God or the devil? That's my question. Who is orchestrating the affairs on earth today, God or the devil? Is the devil in control? If the devil is in control, then the devil is God. God is in control of the devil. You know, I have one question for the free willers. Here's my question. Don't get upset with me, but I'm just asking a question. You say you have a free will. If a man had a free will, then how come he didn't keep the serpent out of the Garden of Eden? Because my Bible says, it's God that placed The serpent in the garden of Eden. Why didn't Adam and Eve execute their free will to kick him out? If they have a free will, make a choice to pick that old snake up and throw him out of the garden of Eden. Didn't work too well for them, did it? Well, I'll tell you what. I'm on a mission. My mission is to expose the lies of free will. I want, before I die, I want to try to get my book out to everybody I can, The Lies of Free Will. We went by hundreds of different churches and every one of them was a free will church, except for three of them. Three out of a hundred. Okay? You know... Man thinks he's really God, doesn't he? They sin in the temple of God and proclaim they're God. That's what they do. You can't figure God out. But I'll tell you one thing. He's got us figured out, doesn't he? Because he created us.
