Appreciate all of our young people in Sunday school classes and teachers. Take your Bibles and we go in the book of Exodus chapter 22. For the young people that attend this church, if some adult asks you, are you sure you're not a lesbian or you sure you're not gay? and you can tell them your pastor said to ask them, are you sure you're not stupid? Amen. Good, yeah. Amen. Okay, Exodus 22. Let's all stand one more time. Pretty few verses here. Exodus 22, verse one. If a man shall steal an ox or a sheep and kill it or sell it, he shall restore five oxen for an ox and four sheep for a sheep. If a thief be found breaking up and be smitten that he die, there shall be no bloodshed for him. If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be bloodshed for him, for he should make full restitution. If he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft. If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox or ass or sheep, he shall restore double. If a man shall cause a field or a vineyard to be eaten and shall put in his beast and shall feed in another man's field of the best of his own field and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution? If fire break out and catch in thorns so that the stacks of corn or the standing corn or the field be consumed therewith, he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution. I'm gonna skip down to verse number 14. I could read it all, but for time's sake, mostly we'll go to verse 14. And if a man borrow all of his neighbor, and it be hurt or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good. You can be seated this morning. Thank you for standing with me. I'm gonna take that little phrase there in verse 14, where it said, make it good, make it good. And we see the same phrase in the 11th verse again, only this time it says, under certain circumstances, he shall not make it good. But I just want to try to preach, especially to the young people this morning, about making things right or making things good. It's the same thing in this passage we're reading. And of course, God has given this law, and God is instructing His children, in particular the children of Israel here, and good for us too, as well, that when we go through life, We just want to do things right, and if we don't do things right, we need to make things right. It's really simple. Really simple about making things good, making things right. We see some words that I'm going to look at today. I see many times, verse 1, the word restore. I see in verse 3, restitution. Verse four, again, restore. Verse five, restitution. Verse six, restitution. Those words are in this passage a lot. And because those words are there because sometimes that's what it takes to make things right, to make things good. And so to understand about What this passage means, and of course this is the law, and it reveals to us, as we've been studying in Sunday School, about the mind of God and how God thinks. If we're going to understand about making things right, then we're going to have to understand a little bit about the nature of God. because God wants to make things right. And I'm not going to spend more time than I have to this morning talking about the nature of God, but there's two things about the nature of God that I've got on my heart to share with you this morning as we look at the subject of making it good or making things right. And the first thing that I've got to talk about is that God is a holy God. He is a holy God. Let me give you a definition of holy. I know you think you know what it means, just like I think I know what it means, but it means perfect, perfectly pure, just, good. And so that's what holy means and to understand what it means to make things right or to make things good, we gotta understand where it's coming from and it's coming from God who is holy. He's holy. This is the holy Bible. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3.15, Paul told Timothy that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures. which are able to make thee wise, salvation which is in Christ Jesus. This is a Holy Bible. God's Spirit is called the Holy Spirit. Sometimes it's called the Holy Ghost. His angels are called the Holy Angels because they serve Him. I'm talking about a Holy God. You're not going to understand how to make things right until you understand, first of all, what it means to be right and who it's coming from. And it's coming from a Holy God. A holy God. He's not just powerful. He's not just all-knowing. He doesn't just know all about us. He doesn't just have a book in Heaven that's got everything written down in it. He is a holy God. The place that He lives is holy. I'm going to read you some verses from the scripture this morning about this holy God. Deuteronomy 26, 15 says, Look down from thy holy habitation. Psalm 11, verse 4, The Lord is in His holy temple. Psalm 20, verse 6, Now know I that the Lord saveth His anointed. He will hear him from His holy heaven. Revelation chapter 4 verse 8 in the four beasts. You see, even God is so holy, He made some creatures in heaven and they've got a job. God is so holy. He's so perfect. He's so perfectly pure. He's so unblemished. He's so... I don't even know the words to describe how holy God is. He had to create some creatures. that are in heaven right now, and they're saying something. Listen to what they're saying. Revelation tells us about it, 4 in verse 8, and the four beasts had each of them six wings about him, and they were full of eyes within, and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God. God Almighty Which was and is and is to come Isaiah saw it in Isaiah chapter 6 verse 1 and through 4 and he got down he saw those Seraphims that had the six wings it probably a John saw in Revelation chapter 4 and the Bible says that one tried in another and said holy Holy holy is the Lord of hosts and the whole earth is full of his glory. I and the post of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. This is a big deal. This is a big deal. You've got to understand that God is a holy God. You're never gonna be able to make things right until you understand God is a holy God. You see, when he said there, if you take a sheep, you restore five of them. Wow, that's kind of steep, isn't it? No, because he's a holy God. He's a holy God. Perfect. No blemishes there. His worship is to be holy. Exodus chapter 28 verse 2, the Lord told Moses, thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron, thy brother, for glory and for beauty. Exodus 28 verse 36, and thou shalt make a plate of pure gold. These are all things that were contained in the law about how to worship God. And there was to be a plate of pure gold, engrave upon it like the engravings of a signet. and all in capital letters on this plate in the worship to God, it said, Holiness unto the Lord. He's a holy God. Psalm 29, verse 2, giving the Lord the glory, doing His name, worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. Psalm 30, verse 4, Sing to the Lord, O ye saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness. Psalm 47, verse 8, God reigneth over the heathen. God sitteth upon the throne of His holiness. Psalm 48, verse 1, Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God and the mountain of His holiness. Psalm 60, verse 6, God hath spoken in His holiness. Psalm 89, verse 35, Once, God said, have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie. Romans 12 verse 1, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercy of God that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verse 7, for God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. The Bible says in Hebrews chapter 12 verse 14, follow peace with all men and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Listen to this, 2 Corinthians chapter 7 verse 1. I didn't even get time. I don't take time this morning to talk about His holy name. His holy name and the holy things in the temple and the holy city Jerusalem. 2 Corinthians 7, having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. So if we're gonna understand this thing about making things good and making things right, we gotta understand what the goal is. We gotta understand what the goal is. And the next thing that I wanna tell you about the nature of God is not just holiness but Orderly. Orderly. This thing of making restitution and restoring, it's not just a holy thing of making things good and making things right, but it's an orderly thing. Orderly is a condition in which there is a methodical, proper, or harmonious arrangement of things. This creation that we see and enjoy, it wasn't an explosion. It was an orderly creation on the first day. On the first day. And God saw everything that he made on the first day and said, that's good. That's a good thing. Why? Because it was orderly. There wasn't stuff blowing up and feathers landing on creatures and they became birds and people coming out of the chaos. No, let all things be done decently in order, what his word says. A day is 24 hours. Always has been. Always will be. You're not going to change it. Why? Because He's a God of order. A week has seven days. Why? Because He ordered it that way. Now some of these days, they probably haven't thought of it yet, but some of these days some of these atheists are going to say, I don't think we need to have a seven day week, I think we need to have an eight day week. Because the seven day week comes from the Bible and we all know there is no such thing as God. Somebody, some idiot's gotta think of that. The same idiot's gonna ask your daughter the question that was asked earlier. Orderly. There's a week, seven days in a week, and there's 52 weeks in a year. And it takes this earth 365 and a quarter days to go all the way around the sun in its orbit. And while it's going around the sun in its orbit, it's spinning around like this. And hundreds and hundreds of miles in the air. And while the earth is spinning around like this and going around the sun like this, the moon is orbiting the earth. And nothing ever gets lost at the same time. There's other planets in our solar system that's going around the sun and we never collide and we never hit each other. Why? Because God's a God of order. He's a holy God. He's a God of order. And so it's no surprise that when things are less than holy or out of order, God says we got to make that good. It's no surprise when something's not holy and when something's not in order, God says, got to make that right. We got to make that right. He wants it corrected. He wants it made right. And we see these words about restoration or restore and restitution. Let me give you a couple of more definitions this morning. Restore means to bring back to a former state or condition. Restitution means the restoration of that which was wrongfully taken. And so these verses that we read, and they don't cover everything, and I just read them to make the point to you that God wants things to be made right. I'm trying to preach to young people this morning, but I think the rest of us can probably get some good out of it. See, all the commandments that God gives in his word, they're kind of summed up in two commandments. And the Lord talked about those in the book of Matthew chapter 22 when He said, all the law and all the prophets hang on this. Matthew 22 verse number 35, there was someone that came to Him and tempted Him and said, which is the great commandment of the law? And Jesus said to him, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and all the prophets. So if we're gonna make things right, folks, we're not gonna be as concerned about the climate as we are about people and God. We're not gonna be as concerned about the things that this world's concerned about. Now, listen, don't misunderstand me. I believe we need to be good stewards of what God's given us. But if we're gonna make, making things right doesn't mean quit throwing your plastic bags away. I'm all for recycling. But making things right means getting things right with Him and getting things right with each other. That's the kind of making it good that God wants you to do. And so there's these two commandments. Romans 13 talks about it. You see, God wants everything to be right between you and Him. And God wants everything to be right between you and others. And you can't be right with Him if you're not right with others. It's a good lesson for young people to learn. Listen to this, young people, 1 John 4, verse 20, if a man say, I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar. That's pretty plain, isn't it? A man says, oh, I just love the Lord. Then he turns around and says, I hate you. That man is a liar. And that's absolute truth. coming from God who gave us a book full of absolute truth. If a man say, I love God and hateth his brother, he is a liar. For he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? You see, the Lord Jesus Christ over the Gospels, over Matthew chapter number five and verse 23 said, if you bring your gift to the orphan, you remember, There's somebody, he says a brother there, there's somebody that's got something against you. And that all against you means you have done something wrong then. Somehow you have failed that person. And you get there and you remember that there's somebody got all against you. Forget about that. First go be restored. There's that word restored again in Matthew chapter five. You need to be restored to your brother because you can't get right with God until you get right with everybody else. Those two things go together. And so that's why we get this thing of restitution and restoration. And I want to say a little bit this morning about what it means to be right with others. That's where I'm starting with this morning. We'll talk about being right with God in a minute. But what does it mean to be right with others? And how do we get there? How do we get there? Well, we read those verses. You know, if you take something from somebody, according to Exodus chapter 22, verse one, if you take something and you want to make it good, you want to make it right, you know what you do? You don't just give it back. That's not enough. That's not enough, because you've caused them some grief. You've caused them some trouble. And the Lord said there in Exodus chapter 22 verse 1, He said, restore five oxen for an ox, four sheep for sheep. And you know what that means? The bigger you did wrong, the more it's going to take to make it right. And we're just dealing with sheep and oxen here. They don't even include gosping about people. Hard feelings and grudges. Wow. He said restore. He said God wants things to be. He's a holy God. We gotta understand that He's a holy God. Things have gotta be right and they've gotta be orderly to make it right with Him. And so we get this thing of restoration and restitution. And then there's another word that starts with an R. It's called repentance. It's called repentance. Now, the word apology is not a Bible word, but you need to understand something, young people. You know, I like youth service, so I can say, I can keep saying young people, and I'm really trying to let the moms and dads have it. No, I'm not. No, I'm not. But it kind of helps a little bit to say young people, when the truth is, this is for all of us. This word repentance, you can sin against God, but you can also sin against people. You can do people wrong. You know the story of the prodigal son, Luke 15 verse 18, this is after he's on his way or planning to go back home, he said, I will arise and go to my father. And will say to him, father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee. Father, this is his plan, he's planning. Now listen, young people, he didn't just plan, I'm gonna tell my dad, I'm sorry, he did it. Problem with so many in this building and every other church building across the country today, they say they're gonna do things, but they never do it. This young man said, I'm gonna go back home and I'm gonna tell my daddy this, and you read it, you skip on that a few verses, he said he did exactly what he said he would do. I will say to my father, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee, daddy, I sinned against God, but Lord, Daddy, that's not all I did. I did you wrong, Daddy. And I am no more worthy to be called thy son. Make me as one of thy hired servants. Young people, how can you be right with God and wrong with your parents? How can you be right with God and wrong with your parents? I don't think you can be. I don't think you can be. You see the God that said, honor thy father and thy mother? How can you be right with him while you're disobeying what he tells you to do? Bridget, yes. Now, I'm gonna give you a personal, I thought about this this week, when the Lord began to deal in my heart about this thing of making things right and making things good. And Mama, I don't know if I ever apologized for something, I'm fixing to make an apology to you. I was a senior in high school. And somehow, I got this spirit of resentment. Anybody know what I'm talking about? And it kind of, I mean, I was pretty rotten, I'll just be honest with you. My mom and daddy put up with a lot with me. It surprised some of you, and it may not surprise you, but it's the truth. And part of my problem was I developed this spirit of resentment. And I had gotten, I'd sent out my invitations for, boy, when I start telling personal stuff, everybody kind of zeroes in. It gets so quiet you can hear a church mouse. When Brother David starts telling about some of his flaws. And I had gotten, I'd sent out the invitations like you're supposed to do, and people were sending me money. Well, I had the thank yous, and mama said to me, said, David, did you get, I think it was D.C. She said, did you get a check from D.C.? That's one, I was my great aunt. And I said, yeah. And she said, well, she asked me about it. She said, you need to make sure you send the thank yous out. Well, it just broke me up. I resented my mama being involved, trying to help me. I'd reached an age I didn't think I needed that anymore. And then I had bought, I went to Goody's at the mall. Y'all remember Goody's at the mall? I had bought a short-sleeved button-up shirt. It was kind of purple. And it had some stripes in it. And I remember leaving the top button unbuttoned and got a little peach fuzz. I thought I was so cool. And Mama said, where'd you get that shirt at? It flew all over me. I don't understand it, but I was ugly to my mama. And she tried to explain to me, and it's something that I understand a whole lot better now, and I'm gonna try to accept you young people to say, your mom and your dad changed your diaper. And they have bought you clothes. And they have fed you and clothed you and given you a place to stay, and they have been so involved in your life. Don't you dare get a spirit of resentment against them when they are still wanting to be involved in your life. There's something bad, bad wrong with that. And you can't be right with God and wrong with your parents. Mama, I know I was ugly to you and I'm sorry. I may have already told you, I probably have. It don't hurt to tell it again. You know what you do? Is that our word? Repent. You make things right with your mama. And you make things right with your daddy. And in so doing, you're making things right with God. There's another thing that you have to do to make things good and make things right. We're still talking about dealing with other people. It's called forgiveness. It's called forgiveness. You know, Peter asked the question in Matthew 18, he said, You know what, Peter, he's, Peter's usually, Peter's the one that's asking the questions, but he's usually just asking what everybody else is thinking. Peter kind of gets a bad rap for it. Peter says, Lord, how many times shall my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Seven times? And Peter probably, he knows who he's talking to, he's probably figuring seven is gonna cover it. Seven days in a week, seven notes on the musical scale, Seven's the number of completion. Yeah, seven times ought to be enough. Multiply that by 70. And then you're getting close. This thing of forgiveness. You see, that's part of restoration. It will never be right. It will never be good. It will never be restored until you forgive. Amen, that's right. Now, I'm preaching to some people this morning, and I have no idea what all's going on in your home. I have no idea what's going on in your workplace. I have no idea what's going on in your life, but I'm gonna tell you, it can't be right until you forgive. You can't make it good, you can't bypass forgiveness. You can't get, listen, you can bypass downtown MacMillan by taking the bypass. You can bypass Bachman Way by taking that back route to Church Street or what's the name, Yolk Street, yeah. You can bypass a few things here and there, but I'm gonna tell you, you cannot make it right with other people when bypass forgiveness. You're gonna have to deal with it. And this chapter is all about being right with other people. And part of that is forgiveness. Your life will be unholy and out of order until you forgive. And forgiveness is just restoration and making it right. And that's other people. But how in the world? You see, you can get right with other people fairly easy. You can see them, you can talk to them. But how in the world are you going to get right with God? You can't see God. You can't talk to God like you talk to me. In fact, your sin against God, those lies you've told, that dishonored your mom and daddy, those evil thoughts, those words you've said that you knew better, you know what they've done? They have separated you and God. There's a wall between you and God. The scripture says in Isaiah chapter 55, or rather 59 verse one, behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save, neither is ear heavy that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God. And your sins have hit his face from you that he will not hear. One of Job's friends, not in these exact words, but he asked the question, how can a man be right with his maker? How you gonna get right with God? You see, there's God. God's in another world. Literally. God's in another world. We read about His holy temple. We read about His holy heaven. We read about His holy habitation. We read about His holy throne. He's in another world. How you gonna get right with God? He's in another world figuratively. He's in another world spiritually. Amen. He is holy, and righteous, and powerful, and good, and rich, and eternal. And you're unholy, and unrighteous, and impotent. That means you have no power, and you're bad, and you're poor, and you're tempered. You see, things left alone, things left alone don't get better. Things left alone get worse. If you don't believe me, don't mow your yard. Yeah. Don't get the weeds out of your garden. We're talking about making things right. So how, how does a man that's in another world, a wicked man, a man that's a sinner, how does that man get right with the Holy God? Well, John, in John chapter five, or Revelation chapter five, said, I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written without and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, who is worthy to open the book and loose the seals. And no man in heaven nor in earth, neither under the earth was able to look upon the book, to open the book, neither look thereon. And I wept much because no man was found worthy to open and read the book, neither look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, weep not. Behold, the line of the tribe of Judah, the root of David hath prevailed to open the book and to loose the seven seals in it. You see, my little children, I'm writing to you that you sin not, but if any man sins, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. You see, the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5, verse 21, that he, God, made him, Jesus, to be sinned, who knew no sin, that he, by being made the righteousness of God. Praise the Lord. You see, without Jesus Christ, you're never gonna be able to make it right. Amen. The Old Testament saints were never able to really get right with God. That's why they went down into the heart of the earth, and I don't get into all that, and Jesus set them free. You can't be right with God and bypass Jesus Christ. Amen. You can't be right with us and bypass forgiveness. And you can't be right with God and bypass Jesus Christ. Amen. That's right. You can join a church. You can get baptized. You can do better. Yes. You can put your money in the offering plate. You can read your Bible. and you still won't be right with God until you go through Jesus Christ. Because Jesus Christ said, no man, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me. How you gonna get right with God? Well, you're gonna have to go through Jesus Christ. And you're gonna have to come to him. and say I'm a dirty, low-down, rotten, miserable sinner. And I've sinned against you, and I've sinned against my fellow man, and I can't make it right any other way. I'd be willing to give my money, but it won't be good enough. I'd be willing to give my life, but it wouldn't be good enough. I'm willing to go through Jesus Christ. I'm willing to accept what you did for me, so I can be right with God. What a God we serve. Praise the Lord. That made a way for you and I. Amen. Listen, the Baptist can't get you right with God. The Methodist can't get you right with God. The Church of Christ can't get you right with God. No, the Church of God doesn't have it for anybody else. Right. But Jesus Christ. Amen. The very Son of God shed his blood so you and I could be right with God. Amen. Amen. Thank the Lord. This thing of restoring fourfold and fivefold. I can almost see the Father, as He sees His lost creation in sin, look at the Son and say, it's time to go make it good. Go make it good. And I tell you, He paid the price. Not just for my sins. He paid above and beyond the price for my sins. He paid the price for your sins and the sins of the world. Now, I want to say this. Two more things I'll be through this morning. for you young people. The goal is to make it good. That's what I'm preaching about this morning, making it good, making it right, making it right with everybody else, making it right with God. Now, Wednesday night, we did something that was not scheduled. And for those that just, I mean, some of y'all, you've wanted to know all week since Wednesday, who messed up, Brother David or Brother Deborah? Brother Deborah wasn't here, okay? Well. When it felt like the Lord laid on my heart to ask for the Deputy Attorney to come and preach for us, I sent him a text message and said, can you preach the 3rd and the 4th of July? And I said, possibly the 5th. I will let you know for sure. And he said, yes I can. And you know what, somehow up here, I just knew, I said, plan on coming on the 5th as well. Go ahead and plan on Wednesday night as well. I mean, I could see the text. I just knew I had said that to him. And so when he didn't show up Wednesday night, I thought, I'll have to pull that up and resend it to him and remind him that he blew it. But it turned out he wasn't there. I blew it. And Wednesday night, we broke up into the four-part harmonies that your songbook's written in. Some of the people didn't know what part they sang, but they found the part, and that's good. And you know what I found? I found this before, but it reminded me. This is to the young people. Young people, listen. It is so much easier to sing bass when I'm surrounded by people that are singing bass. And it's so much easier. Sometimes I sing tenor. Sometimes I sing bass and tenor. But it's so much easier to sing tenor when I'm sitting in the tenor section. And there's some of them people that know what they're doing. It's so much easier. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise. But a companion of fools shall be destroyed. Young people, the goal is not just to make it right, but to keep it right. The goal is not just to get it right, but to keep it right. Keep it right with everybody. Keep it right with God. And how do you do that? You stay around people that are keeping it right. You stay around people that are doing it right. You get to running around that crowd, It's doing the world's way and doing the world's thing. You know what you're going to find? You're going to find that you're not right like you once were. You fell into the trap. And you didn't know any better sometimes because you just got around the wrong people. That's why it's so important for you to be in church. This thing of not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as a manner of some is, but exhorting one another in so much the more as you see the day approaching, folks, that wasn't written for people in Bible days, that's for us. You need to be in church so you can keep it right and there's a joy when things are right. I'm gonna read one more verse this morning, then I'll be through, Acts 321. This word restitution shows up in the New Testament. And it's in Acts chapter three, Peter's preaching. And Peter's sermon records these words, and he, that's God, the Father, shall send Jesus Christ, which before was priest unto you, listen to this, verse 21, whom the heaven must receive. That means he's come to earth, he's been sent, and now he's been received in the heavens, whom the heavens must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophet since the world began. You see, one day, Jesus Christ is gonna make it all right. Everything. The devil's gonna be cast in the lake of fire forever. And sinners are gonna be cast in the lake of fire forever. You know why? If you won't make it right, one of these days he's gonna make it right. The times of restitution. Jesus Christ is gonna come at the time of restitution. He's gonna restore all things. The lion's gonna lay down with the lamb. He's gonna make everything good. He's gonna make everything right. And if you don't make it right now, he'll make it right for you. But it'll be too late for you. It'll be too late for you. Karen, come to the piano this morning. We don't sing invitation songs very often, but there's one. It's in the hymn book, it's in the church hymn book called, Is Thy Heart Right With God? And the hymn writer said, have thine affections been nailed to the cross? Is thine heart right with God? Countest thou all things for Jesus but lost? Is thy heart right with God? Hast thou dominion over self and over sin, over all evil without and within? Is there no more condemnation for sin? Does Jesus rule in the temple within? Are all thy powers under Jesus' control? Does he each moment abide in thy soul? Art thou now walking in heaven's pure light? Is thy soul wearing the garment of white? Is thy heart right with God? Why don't we stand this morning? If God spoke to your heart this morning. Hey, nothing wrong with things not being right. The wrong's when we leave it that way. Is things right between you and mom and dad, young person? Is things right between you and your brother and sister? Things right between you and everybody in the church? Things right between you and God? Well, we don't like to be wrong, do we? We don't even like to admit we're wrong. Just like I told you that in my mind, I just knew that Brother Dilbert was in error. And I wasn't. Boy, the church service, we don't want anybody to know that things ain't right. Things ain't right. Oh my. Young person especially today. Get it right. Get it right. Get it right with God. Enjoy life. Rejoice, oh young man, but you can't rejoice in your youth if it ain't right. Get it right with God. Get it right with mom and dad. Get it right with everybody else. Get it right with God. Maybe you're here today and your sins aren't under the blood. Oh, you can get, isn't it a joy to know that you can get it right with God? These two young ladies that have gotten saved in our church, I asked them both the question. I said, why did you need to get saved? because I just needed to know before I baptized him. I needed to know that, like Philip did with Eunuch, that it was inappropriate and in order. And they both told me, because I have sinned. And I even got more specific and I said, what sins have you committed? I wasn't trying to be a Catholic priest. I was just trying to make sure they knew what they were doing. And they both said, I have done this. You know what? They were able to make it right. with the help of Jesus Christ, the blood he shed on Calvary. You need to make it right today. Heads are bowed and eyes are closed. Nobody's looking around. I wonder if there's one this morning that would be honest in your heart and say, Brother David, I know that things are not right between me and God, and I deserve prayer this morning. It won't save you, but it's just enough to get you started, and I can pray for you. Anybody like that, say pray for me. Nobody's looking. Anybody say pray for me. I know things aren't right between me and God, I wonder if anyone this morning, to be honest enough, say, Brother David, there's some people in my life, and things aren't right between me and them, and I desire prayer. Anybody like that, say pray for me, God bless you, God bless you, appreciate these hands. People in my life, God bless you, things aren't right between me and them, God bless you, appreciate these hands. Now, you don't have to come to the altar and pray, but it's still open. But I tell you what you have gotta do, You gotta make it right. You gotta make it right. You can't pretend like it ain't right. God so wants things to be right. He wants things to be right in your home. He wants things to be right in your relationships. He wants things to be right between you and him. Appreciate these that have come to the altar. Anybody else need to pray? Maybe the ice has been broken for you a little bit. Church hymnal 357. We're going to sing it this morning. Have thy affections been nailed to the cross? Is I Is there now? Is there now no Are thou now walking in heaven's pure light? Is thy heart right with God? Is thy soul wearing the garment of white? Is thy heart right with God? Is thy heart right with God? It's a wonderful thing to be able to go home and lay down at night and know it's right.
