Thank you so much. Appreciate that. And a blessing to have been amongst you all this week. I've enjoyed every minute of it. And I know that sometimes in talking with Brother Schweitzer, sometimes there's some questions that people have because of the types of messages that I that I preach. And so in any case, I will, first of all, at his request, talk about the January 6th, which of course now they're saying was an insurrection. Well, it wasn't an insurrection. I was there. What I saw was a bunch of people that were peaceably assembling. And obviously, I didn't charge the Capitol, and anyone that did, they did wrong, okay? That should have never happened. But when I was there, there were pastors with churches, everyone was peaceful on the outside, and at least initially. Of course, it was Wednesday night, I was there with my pastor. And we're going to be, of course, leaving to go to church. We didn't go over to the Ellipse and hear President Trump speak. We were just at the Capitol and just standing around. There are people singing songs. There were even people that were taking photographs with Capitol Hill police with their arms around each other and just very, you know, very cordial. So in any case, as the day went on, I think there was some rabble rousers. that hijacked that event and that wanted to basically make it out to be something that it was not. As we were leaving, and of course we went on one side of the Capitol and then on the other, on the outskirts of the Capitol, and As we were leaving, my pastor said, someone's preached the capital. I went, what? That is very strange. And as he was saying that, there were people running past us. dressed up kind of like in a type of gear that you would be going to a riot in. And they had Trump signs on them. I said, those don't look like Trump followers to me. And in fact, one of the United States representatives from the floor of the House even said, that facial recognition unequivocally proves that there were people with BLM, Black Lives Matter, and Antifa, and Chautauqua, and DC that led the people in to the Capitol. And so, in my opinion, they wanted to take something that was very peaceful and make it something that it was not, and try to broad brush everyone that was there as insurrectionists. That's simply not true. Because Washington, D.C. is my mission field. And so I'm there quite often. I was there that day simply because I'm normally there. And I didn't, you know, I did not see the type of things that they're trying to portray now. And I don't doubt that they happened. I've seen some of the footage as people breached the Capitol. The Capitol should have never, ever been entered. That is egregious. That should have never happened. And those people, they should be prosecuted, but those people should go through the due process also of our judicial system and not be thrown in jail without any bail. as they have been and treated very, very, very unjudiciously. And so all of those things, you might say, come to bear in the fact that it can be very venomous in Washington, DC. And so suffice it to say that it was an event that started out as something very peaceful. And because of some people that I think orchestrated it to be something other than it was and led some people that were probably very naive into the capital that should have never followed. So in any case, I hope that answers somewhat of the questions. What they're saying now is the insurrection, you don't go with churches and pastors to insurrection. No one had any firearms, they just, they were there. And so in any case, that I hope suffice and will give you the other side of the story. Okay. All right. So in saying that, I would like you, if you would please, to go with me to First Corinthians. First Corinthians, been so good to be with you all. And next time I come, Brother Schweitzer and I talked about maybe even a question and answer period. where people can ask questions about what's going on, I'm there, I see what's happening, and we, I believe this, I believe when, and I had a question in fact over the phone today, of a pastor and he said there was one of the Supreme Court justices that said because of a decision that was made for the for the religious liberty that there is erosion of the separation of church and state. OK. And I said, well, may I say this, that the separation of church and state is something that we have to understand constitutionally, first of all, being a citizen of this great nation, that Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. And I've already covered that. So that Congress stays out of the church. And it's that wall. You say, what about that wall that Thomas Jefferson talked about? Well, let's go to historical then. And so in any case, Thomas Jefferson said this in his letter to the Danbury Baptists, because we Baptists wanted to make sure that we were not going to be basically mandated to do certain things. We've always been about soul liberty. We've always been about the liberty of the pulpit and the spiritual liberty, of course, in Jesus Christ. And Thomas Jefferson said in his letter to the people, among other things, and I'll read the excerpt that talks about the separation of church and state. He said this, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting the establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof. thus building a wall of separation between church and state, adhering to this expression of the supreme will of the nation in behalf of the rights of conscience. I see with sincere satisfaction the progress of those sentiments, which tend to restore to man all his natural rights." And listen to this last. thing that he says here, because this is the most important thing that we need to understand. Convinced, he said he was that he has no right than the man, the citizen of America has no natural right in opposition to his social duties. So you get that last part. So what he's saying that the wall of separation of church and state keeps the state out of the church. but never keeps the people of the church from their social duties. What he was telling the Baptists in Danbury, Connecticut, you need to stay involved. You need to stay involved. Now, we don't want a church-run state, nor do we want a state-run church. Right. But we do understand this, that the people of God, OK, must stay engaged. And this is something that's going on right now. So I thought I'd just cover this very quickly. Biblically, what are we talking about? Matthew 22 and verse 21. Again, we've covered this in part where they say unto him, When he asked, whose superscription is this? When they were talking about, you know, should we pay taxes? And he said, go get a coin. And whose superscription is this? And and of course, what was the answer? It was Caesar's. Caesar's superscription. And he said, surrender, therefore, to Caesar the things that are Caesar's and unto God the things that are God's. So he was proclaiming a huge new distinction, something quite different for the coming church age relative to the past with the Old Testament Israel. This passage, among other New Testament passages, represents the biblical basis of institutional separation of civil government from God's ordained institution of the church. The clear distinction now, listen to this, between institutional separation does not imply influential Separation as postured by many secularists today. So what does that mean? That means that the church Okay is an entity that is not to be interfered with by the government as I say so many times three institutions that God's ordained. The first is the family Second is government. Wait a minute. Where does government come in second in the Bible when Noah gets off the ark? God tells Noah if man sheds man's blood by man shall his blood be shed. Why. Because man is created in the image of God. So what's the most basic one of the most basic responsibilities of government to protect the righteous from the unrighteous. Right. And so that's government right there. God is beginning to speak to Noah about the governance of man. The third is the New Testament church. OK. But again remember that government coming between the family that makes up the church is never neutral. It'll either protect and promote the traditional family in the church or to prosecute and punish the traditional family in church. It all depends on how much we stay engaged, educated about and encouraging our government. Why? Why is that so clear or should be so clear that the people of faith that the church, which is of course the body of believers, the called out ecclesia, has a right and a duty to stay involved because we the people are the government. You know, we are Caesar. So that kind of, you might say, is the bottom line. And so in my opinion, Chief Justices like Sotomayor has no idea what she's talking about. Well, she's a Supreme Court Justice, but she doesn't understand the Constitution. and she doesn't understand the Bible. That's basically the Constitution's based upon, the Bible. And so that's why it's so very important for us to understand that we have that clear distinction between the two, but again, we should and must be very influential on the government. The very first act, you get this right, of the Congress after the War for Independence. One of the very first things they did was to pass a bill to basically get the Bible printed. And they gave it to a man by the name of Robert Aiken. And Robert Aiken was the man that printed the first legal Bible in America when we became a nation. So one of the very first things that Congress did was say, hey, we need to get the Bible printed. Now, if if you look in history, that's not separation of church and state, as the liberals are trying to say, you see. It is something that we must understand. We are a Christian nation. And so I hope that can clear up some things. And a lot of times people say over the Harding, you know, we are spinning off that we're spin off of Rome and the end of Roman Senate. No, no, we're not. We're not a spin-off of Rome. We're not a republic because Rome, quote-unquote, was a republic. We are a republic because we fashioned our government after the nation of Israel. Would you like to see that before we begin? Let me just show you very quickly. Hold your place there in 1 Corinthians. Go with me over to Exodus 18. Exodus 18 and verse 21. I think there's some things we need to understand right before we get into the message today. And this is one I think that's very, very important for us to realize and to take with us. And so if you have a pen or a pencil or something, you might mark your Bible right here in Exodus 18 verse 21. And of course, this shows us two things. First of all, the type of people that we should vote for. And secondly, the multi-layered representational government that we have called the Republic. It's not a democracy. It's Republic. To the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, as we've already said. So Exodus 18 verse 21. Now here's the type of folks we need to be looking for. to vote for and praying that God would bring to the forefront, able men. So people that have ability, but that's just the beginning. We want intelligent people, but again, just the beginning. Second thing is such as fear God. Isn't that wonderful? Because if they fear God, they won't fear man and they'll be able to stand up for their convictions. One of the men that I went into and prayed for, and he's one of the best of the best. You know what he said when I asked him, what can we pray for you about? He said, pray that I could have. the conviction of my decisions to stand up for what I know is right." I went, wow, that's something. What he was saying was he wanted us to pray that he would continue to have the backbone to stand up for the life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, the constitutional. And this is one of the best of the men that are there. So, such as fear God. Look at this, men of truth. Amen? Isn't that wonderful? That's what we want, right? No matter what, the truth is the truth. And we always try to speak the truth in love, but the truth is the truth no matter what. It's not, you know, today we're calling evil good and good evil. Why? Because there's so many people that have been, you might say, afraid to stand up and speak the truth, hating covetousness. If they hate covetousness, they're not going to be prey to the lobbyists, to those people that are going to be, you know, passing along the green stuff under the table. OK, but and then look at this. It says now place such over them And here's a multilayered representational government that we call a republic that Israel had. Now they were a theocracy. We are not a theocracy. We're a constitutional republic. They were a theocratic republic. But the Republic, the concept, still remains the same. Here it is, look at it. Rulers of thousands, that's national representation. Rulers of hundreds, that's state representation. Rulers of fifties, that is the cities. And rulers of tens, that's the little hamlets, right down to the very, you might say, little counties and such that we have. There is a multi-layered representational government. And so some things that we need to understand and we need to realize that even the triform of government that God gave to us It was something no one had ever written down before we wrote it down in our Constitution. Think about that. We're the first people in the world to write down a triform of government. And that was taken from Isaiah chapter 33 and verse 22. And I want you to see that very quickly as well. Isaiah 33 and verse 22. Because here is where, as James Madison said, we looked None of them suited our needs. So we started to apply them to the governor of the universe. And we started getting into the Bible. These men were so biblical. Isaiah 33 and verse 22. For the Lord is our judge. There's a judicial branch. The Lord is our lawgiver. There's a legislative branch. The Lord is our king. There's executive branch. He will save us. In God we trust. Isn't that great? So here we have. our nation, our constitution, based on biblical principles. That's just two. There's 28 of them. So perhaps when I come next time, we'll cover some more. But I want to give you a few things tonight that I think are very, I think, important for us to understand. in what we must do for our country and how we need to, you might say, look at where we are in history. When we realize, and I know there are some of our brethren that say it's too late for America, I'm sorry, I don't believe that. I don't believe it's too late for our country because I believe that God's still on the throne and there's nothing too hard for God. Nothing too hard for God. And when, in Psalm 85, and you stay, you go back to 1 Corinthians, because I'm going to be going there. But in Psalm 85, 4 and 6, it says, So you see what the psalmist is saying here? He's asking God to turn us to Him. That's why I don't believe it's too late. Isn't that good? That's good news. That should be encouraging. Amen. It's not too late for America. And look, I don't know about you, but I want to continue in peace and prosperity till the Lord calls us home. OK, no matter where and when that is. And so what we see right now going on, America is, you might say, on a collision course with God's judgment. Now, we can change that. And the way we can change that is by as that very famous verse where God says, I sought for a man among them. Remember that right in. Well, let's let's go look at Ezekiel 22, if you would, please. And and I want you to see this, not just here, but hold your hand there. And I know we're kind of prefacing a few things, but I think it's very important for us to understand Ezekiel 22. And verse 30, God's looking for, seeking for a man, for a woman, okay, among them that should do what? That should make up the hedge and stand the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy it. But look, God says, I found none. Therefore have I poured out my indignation upon them and I've consumed them with the fire of my wrath. Their own way have I recompensed upon their heads sayeth the Lord. Well I can guarantee this. God's finding one person every day that's standing in the gap and making up the hedge. So how do you know that brother honey. Because I promised God I was going to do that. Amen. And so you know I don't know how many he needs. Okay. You say, well, what are you talking about? Well, I mean, he would have done it. He would have saved Sodom and Gomorrah for 10. But he didn't even find 10. Amen. But I want you to see something else, too, in Proverbs 28. Look over there very quickly before we begin. Proverbs 28. So I'm prefacing this. And what I want to do is give you encouragement tonight. It's not too late. It is not too late. The Lord is still listening. He's still answering miraculous prayers. And God says in Proverbs 28 in verse two, I love this verse. It's like neon lights whenever I go to this verse and I look at it. Preface it with this. First of all, in verse one, the wicked flee when no man pursueth, but the righteous are as bold as lime. When you start doing that, when you're standing up. and speaking up, right? Getting prayed up and go speak. And that's why my wife and I are just so thrilled about this ministry, because we not only can go in and speak the truth to power, we are bringing pastors. and God's people to do that as well. And that's what God wants us to do. The righteous should be as bold as a lion, but look at this, for the transgression of land, many are the princes thereof, in verse two, but, here it is, turning us towards that 100 degrees towards God, but amen of understanding the knowledge, but by amen of understanding the knowledge, the state thereof shall, that's a promise, be prolonged. I get excited about that every time I read it. You know why? Because God promises us by a man of understanding and knowledge. Now, you know, I'm not anybody, but I do have some understanding. And God's given me some knowledge. And it says by a man of understanding and knowledge, the state thereof shall promise be prolonged every single day. I ask God, Lord, please prolong the state of my nation for one more day. I told that one time at church and and a dear brother came up and said, well, when God decides that he's going to destroy a nation, that's it. It's over. Yeah. I said, yeah, that's true. But God also has postponed his judgment. He said, what do you mean? I said that wicked Gentile nation of Nineveh. was under 40 day judgment call. Right. 40 days and none of us shall fall. Right. That was that was the message. And that one man that he sent unwilling at first ran from God turned around finally. Right. And and spoke those eight words. And what did Nineveh do? They repented. And what did God do? He postponed his judgment. He prolonged his judgment from 40 days to over a century later. I don't think we need a century. But I want God to postpone His judgment, don't you? Prolong the state of our nation? Prolong the peace and prosperity that we have? Well, by one man of understanding and knowledge. And every day I say, Lord, look, Father, we're no better than any of us. We are wicked but Lord you spared none of it. Spare us and Lord please give us one more day and then I will meet you tomorrow and I will ask you for one more day and I will ask you for one more day. Say how long have you been doing that now? For decades. Just one more day Lord and one more day standing on this promise. God honors those types of prayers. He will honor your prayer as well but we need to start understanding and praying as we should and realize that we've allowed our nation to lose our spiritual equilibrium. We've inverted our values. Judgment is turned away backward and justice standeth afar off. For truth is fallen in the street and equity cannot enter. The Supreme Court of the United States should have never made that decision about life. And now some of the liberal judges are saying separation of church and state. No, no, no. They should have never entered there. Those are unalienable rights. They're way out of their constitutional boundaries. They're way out of their boundaries, period, because the only person that enters there is God. He gives us life. And the God that gives us life, as Thomas Jefferson said, gives us liberty. And when you have liberty, guess what? You can pursue happiness. Amen. It was property at first. And then because of the, you know, the intellectual property and Ben Franklin being there, you know, and thinking up all those things, he said, well, let's just expand that to be the pursuit of happiness, because people want to be property owners and and they want to patent things and ideas. And that's I mean, that's America. It's amazing to me. So. Let's look at 1 Corinthians then and see what the Lord has for us tonight. The nation of Corinth. I want to talk about three things tonight. I want to talk about declaration, determination, and demonstration. Those three things tonight. Declaration, determination, and demonstration. And 1 Corinthians 2, everyone with me tonight? Everyone take a deep breath. OK. Breathe and be careful which way you let it out in case you've been eating onions. OK. OK. But I want you just to look at three things with me tonight and then we'll look to the Lord for some decisions that we all need to make. It says here 1 Corinthians chapter 2 and verse 1. And I brethren. Is Paul talking? When I came to you, came not with excellency of speech, I came not with excellency of speech, that means he wasn't a great orator, or of wisdom, his own wisdom. Look at this, declaring unto you the testimony of God. So that's the first thing that Paul's saying. I had one declaration. I may not have been wise in how I said it, I may not have been articulate in how I said it, but one thing I did talk to you about, and that was, I declared God to you. Second, for I determined not to know anything among you save Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. So there's the demonstration and then in verse two is the determination and verse one is declaration. Why? In verse 5, that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them, in verse 6, that are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world that come to nought. But we speak the wisdom of God in the mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our glory. which none of the princes of this world knew. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. Let's pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you so much now for loving us. And oh God, we pray that now you would once again enter into this service. Thank you for each and every person that is here tonight that has been here and how they have listened intently and made decisions, I know, that really can change the course of our nation. Now, Father, once again, as, of course, our bodies are perhaps a little tired, help us to pay attention on purpose tonight. Father, there are many that have worked hard and there's some fatigue here, so help them to go beyond that and to look to You for a little more invigoration, perhaps, and help the cares and burdens, aches and pains of life once again to dissipate, and as I step forward Lord I pray dear God that you would once again articulate my speech clarify my thoughts direct them but most of all through and by your Holy Spirit and dwell me and everything that I may say will be an honor and glory unto thee and thy name and encourage we thy people Lord through and by your Holy Spirit of promise that will lead and guide us into all truth and show us those things to come thank you Lord for loving us thank you dear God for that hedge of protection that you will give us. And Father, help us now to have our minds and open our minds and hearts open unto you. For we ask in the precious name of your son and our Savior, by the authority that's in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. And so here is, I think, a very unique group of people. Ancient Corinth. Now, ancient Corinth has a lot, you might say, a lot of similarities with the United States of America. They had a wealth beyond most people in the ancient world. The Corinthians, they had an influence on language and education, science, architecture, mathematics, specifically geometry. I'll hold that against him a little bit. The Olympics, the odometer, the alarm clock. I really hold that against them. Cartography, the study of maps, medicine. They even had indoor plumbing, urban planning, wheelbarrows, showers, indoor showers by the way. lighthouses, canals, and many more inventions that the Corinthians had the most comfortable and the most creature comforts of the ancient world. The best clothes, food, homes, conveniences. And why? Because it was the, you might say, the crossroads of trade. So these were people that had it good, but they also, you see, were in danger because when people have had it good for so long, we tend to get apathetic. We tend to start being complacent, you see, and we forget where all of these niceties in life come from. They came from people and their sweat and blood, tears, and even death. gave us what we have today. And we've had it so easy for so long. We really, America has a soft underbelly. The men that signed this document and the other foundational documents, they paid the price for us. We've not paid much of a price at all. When I stood that day on Normandy, in that Normandy area on Omaha Beach with Bill Lair, I had to ask him, hey Bill, what was it like? I've never had anyone shoot at me in combat. I need to work at appreciating what I have been given, because if you don't work at appreciating something that you haven't worked for, you're just going to take it for granted. I think all of us, to a certain extent, take for granted what God has given us right now. Why? Because it's just not a human element. It's not natural to work at appreciating things. We just take them as they come. I mean, you think about this. We're living in a fast food society. where, I mean, we can drive by momentarily and get food. Can you imagine what they had to do in those days? They had to, I remember we had what was called a winter camp, and our daughter was at winter camp, and they gave all of the young people guinea hens. And the man that was running it was a retired full bird colonel, and so he said, don't name the hens because you're gonna wring their necks. You're going to pluck them, you're going to gut them, and then you're going to cook them and eat them. And they were filming, you know, everything, and my daughter was saying, I'm naming mine Susie, what are you naming yours? You know, I'm thinking, oh boy, you know, there we go. And she killed Susie, you know, and ate Susie. And what I'm saying is we have a fast food. society now. I mean, I think before long, you won't even have to stop. You'll just kind of wave out your credit card as you go by, and they'll have your burger in one of those football type of cartons, and they'll just say, go long. And you'll, you know, keep right on driving, right? What I'm saying is, hey, the world in which we live and the good things that we have, The Corinthians were subject to the same types of things, and they were constantly surrounded by the winds of worldliness. And because of that, you see, they started to basically look at self-preservation as the ultimate goal. When that happens, folks, that ends in misery. What I'm saying is when you look to yourself and yourself alone, what does God talk about? He says this. He says, look, he that findeth his life, loseth it. He loses it. And he that loses his life for my sake in the gospel shall find it. The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own waste. You know what the world says? Know thyself. You know what God says? Know me. You don't want to know yourself, because there's nothing good in you. Nothing good in me is all in God. Amen. And we're not supposed to be filled with our ways. And so what every day what we need to do is we need to talk and think about renewing our mind and our heart. What David said created me a clean heart, oh God, and renew a right spirit within me. My wife and I, when we woke up this morning, first thing that I did was I started singing a scripture song. Okay, and she was and she said oh, that's you know, that's nice, you know and so we start singing it together and then we went downstairs and there was a couple down there and Loretta was there and Loretta was so nice. Hi Loretta, you doing okay? And Loretta was there She said it all about the hearty and we met a nice couple With the little boy and the mom and you know what the guy said he looked at me said I want you to have a blessed day I said well, I'm very much In agreement with that? And then this is what he said. He said this, he said, as soon as I heard you say something when you were coming off, I knew that you were a believer. I could tell there was something there. I could just sense, I could see the light. I thought, wow, you know what? That is exactly what Paul's talking about here. Because he said, when I came to you, there was one thing that I was declaring to you, and that was this God, that God is. Why do we have the nation that we have? You know why? Because our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence, basically, they were saying there is a God. I don't know about you, but that's what I want my declaration to be. And instead of you might say, say, well, look, let's get everything we can and then sit on the can. We need to be looking towards others and understanding that the Corinthians were attempting to live their lives on the basis of unsanctified common sense, with self-preservation as its goal, and there is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but at the end there are other ways of death. So we need to be, you might say, those people that are declaring, Paul said this, I have one purpose, one driving force, and that is I want people to know that God is. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, reaching forth under those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Hey, I want people to understand. And you need to realize when you're coming into a room, people need to look at you and say, oh, you might want to be careful what you say around this guy coming, because he's going to be declaring God. to us. I know this guy. See, if you laugh at the off-color jokes at work, or go along with the crowd, they're not going to come to you when the chips are down. But when you stand alone with the truth, they may make fun of you at first, but you're gonna be the first one that they seek. Our founding fathers were such a unique group of men that they basically declared that God is, and that meant more to them than anything. We've already gone over the fact, of course, that they said, hey, they're pledging their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, why? Because declaring God was more to them than that. How much in declaring God, how much does that mean to you? Do you have tracts? Have you given a tract out today? You know, we were at a store. My wife picked up a couple of dresses today. She said, can I go back? I said, sure. So I took her back and she got a couple of dresses. You know what she did? She came by and she gave me a little thing on eternal life. I went, oh, I know him. She said, oh, you do? Well, would you give that to someone else? I said, yes. And I said, thank you for doing this. But see, our whole life needs to be declaring God. First and foremost, our whole life. When was the last time you talked to someone about the Lord? That's America. God gave us this country for the gospel sake. The declaration is a blueprint for our country. It declared independence from Great Britain, but it also declared dependence upon God. They said, look, we're not gonna be able to do anything if God isn't in on this. And so it was first and foremost, a declaration of the fact that God is who he is, a blueprint for our country and understanding the Black Robe Regiment was a group of pastors that, you know, they all wore the black robes of the day, men of the cloth, okay? I sure am glad that we don't have to do that today, Brother Schweitzer, amen? black robes. I mean, I tell you what, you say, what would you do? I think I'd unzip it. And we think, look, I'll come over, unzip my black robe, if I had a black robe, and say I'm Batman. Huh? But they had black robes and they called the Black Robed Regiment. Now, the British blamed them for that sacred fire that was burning in the hearts of our patriots. There was a man by the name of George Marion, he's called the Swamp Fox. And these men carried that Declaration of Independence, which was a declaration of God with them, so closely to their hearts. The Swamp Fox and his men, they knew the swamps so well, they would ride out and they would hit the British. And then they retreat into the swamp and the British tried to follow one time they got a couple of them got eaten by gators and then fell into the quicksand you know and they said well this isn't good so they every time they would vanish into the swamp well One of the commanders said, you need to go in, and you need to kind of get a little reconnoiter as to what makes this guy tick. And so he sent his lieutenant in under a white flag. And sure enough, he got to a point in the swamp where he was captured by George Marion's men. They put a black hood over his head and brought him into the interior of the camp. And they took the hood off, and there was Colonel George Marion. and his men and surrounded by swamp and had a fire going. And so he talked to them and and asked him some things and they were they treat him very cordial and even gave him some meager rations that they had. And he came back out and he reported to his his commander. He said, sir, I saw men that were ill clothed. Ill fed. and ill-equipped, their weapons were dilapidated, their clothes were almost falling off their bodies, and I could see the bones. These men were, I mean, gaunt, hardly had any meat on their bones at all. And his commander smiled, and they said, but they're going to win. He said, what do you mean? He just finished saying they're ill-clad and ill-equipped and ill-fed. How are they going to win? He said, I looked into their eyes, and they have something burning there. They have something that they have declared, and it's so much a part of who they are. I look into the eyes of our men. And they don't have that fire. Those men have a fire in their eyes that represent something deep within them, and they know that they're fighting for the liberty that they hold dear. See, we need to have that same fire. We'd have that same fire, not only for our country, and the civil liberty that we have, but also for the spiritual liberty that's in the Lord Jesus Christ. How much declaring God, how much does that mean to you in your life? It should mean everything. And that's what I'm talking about right now. Paul said, look, I declared God unto you. I love that about Paul. That one thing, it says this in first John chapter 1 and verse 3, that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us. And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. And these things write unto you that your joy may be full. Amen. Someone said tonight Brother Harney came in and I'm working on it. I've got a smile. I've got a smile on my face. I like that. Amen. But what I'm saying is, there's a lot of Christians living far below the station in life that they should. You know why? Because they're not declaring God with their life. Because they don't have tracts in their purse or in their pocket ready to give out to people when they come along. And even praying, oh God, please send someone by that I can talk to them. Look, we must, as God's people, have that right moral ground this way and also as American citizens. If we don't have a proper fundamental moral background, we will finally end up in a totalitarian government which does not believe in the rights for anybody except for the state. That was Harry Truman back in 1950. I don't know about you, but 1 John 1 verse 5 says, And this, then, is the message that we have heard of him, and declare unto you that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. Man, I love that, don't you? God is light. When was the last time someone said, Oh, I see the light. I see the light in you. Huh? I mean, we just had that happen today. And it's happened, I was in a clothing store and a guy came up to me and look, it's not me, it's not me, it's God. But God knows my heart. I wanna talk to people about God. And these two guys in this clothing store, I bought, I think, a shirt on sale and they said, you know, you're not the normal kind of person that comes in here. I said, what do you mean? Both of them said, there's something different about you. What's different about you? I said, well, let me tell you. And I started witnessing to him. One of them turned out that he said he had claimed to be saved. The other guy said, you know, I need to think about that. I gave him a tract. I said, hey, this is something that anyone can do and you can do it tonight. No for sure. When you die, you're going to heaven. Wouldn't that be a good thing? You know, kind of shake your head up, up and down. And he kind of shook his head up and down. And, you know, I love that. God is light. God is truth, and in Him is no falsehood at all. God is strength, and in Him is no weakness at all. God is victory, our founding fathers knew that. And in Him is no failure at all. God is great, and in Him is no mediocrity at all. Stop living a mediocrity life. Get on that high plane with God. It's wonderful. God is wonderful and Him is no disappointment at all. He's kind. There's no cruelty in Him. He's holy and there's no sin. Hey, what happened to holy living? Huh? You know what God says? I see the beauty of your holiness. The holiness that we have in our life, your life pleasing to God by what you think and what you say and what you do and what you look at. Amen. And when God's pleased with your life, oh, he does some wonderful things. Amen. I mean, he's he's ready. That's why he was so ready for the founding fathers when they started praying. You understand how many times John Gonneau, the Baptist chaplain that George Washington personally chose to be his personal chaplain throughout the war? How many times he called down miracles from heaven? Do you understand that George Washington would leave his Anglican church and one particular summer walk past a Baptist church and he heard this guy preaching with passion and power, John Gonneau. Oh my, this guy was, I mean, going to town and Washington stood outside of his church and listened. The next Sunday, he almost ran over so he could hear more of the message. And he continued to do that until when they asked him to be the general of the Continental Army, he went to Pastor Cano and said, Pastor Cano, would you possibly consider being my chaplain? He said, well, I'll pray about it, sir. And John Godot prayed about it and said, yes, sir, I believe that will be a very important position to be your spiritual advisor during the war. When he found out that George Washington was truly a saved man, what a lot of people don't know, he baptized George Washington in deep water as a Baptist. Bet you didn't know George Washington was baptized a Baptist, amen? Say, how do you know? It's written in history. There's also a painting that hangs in the William Jewel College, up in Liberty, Missouri, that depicts that very thing. I mean, at the end of the war, George Washington said, Baptist chaplains, like I know, had done more for the war effort than anyone, because he saw him call down God's power and grace upon his battle. I mean, even men like Patton, George Patton, who was not George Washington, but George Patton was, you know, he was a warrior. And he had a chaplain, and his tanks were getting mired in the mud, and so he came, he said, I want the chaplain, bring the chaplain in here. If you know anything about Patton, he was pretty rough and gruff, okay? But he did believe in God, he prayed on his knees. Very much of an oxymoron, there was a lot of contrary things, but in any case, he said, chaplain, I want you to order up some good weather from the Almighty. Chaplain said, sir, I just can't go and order. He said, are you my chaplain? Well, yes, sir. Are you connected with the Almighty? He said, yes, sir. Then I'm ordering you to get some good weather tomorrow. Well, I would probably venture a guess that that chaplain probably prayed more fervently that night than he had in a long time, OK? And the next morning, the sun was shining. The mud was drying up. Patton walked past that chaplain and said, good job, chaplain. Just kept on going, amen. But see, when you live a life that pleases God, holiness, you see, that's what the men that fought the war for independence, George Washington would not let a man curse. Oh, greatly disparaged man. Even some authors say, he didn't curse. He was a man so godly, he wouldn't let men curse. And in fact, he said, if you're caught cursing and calling God's name in vain, the first time, I'll give you a warning. Second time, 20 lashes with a whip. Third time, I'll drum you out of the military with a dishonorable discharge. They'll follow you for the rest of your life. And there's over 50 documents. with his original signature that over 50 times, as bad as he needed men, over 50 times he said goodbye to those warriors because he said, I don't care how good of a soldier you are, we need God's grace more than we need you on the battlefield. Wow, would we have commanders like that today that would say, hey, you clean up your mouth. Hey, when you do that, God's ready. He's ready to bless you. Amen. Now, I'm just going to brag on God for a minute, OK? because it's so very true. I told my wife a few months ago, I need a couple of suits, a couple of new suits. And she said, yeah. I said, I've got two suits that fit me. I need a couple of new suits. And we went to a church, and a guy walked up to my wife and said, did your husband need some new suits? She said, yeah, he was just... Now, the suit I was wearing, it wasn't threadbare or anything. He said, well, and then he came to me, he said, you need some suits. I said, Yeah, I was just telling my wife that. Now, I didn't even pray about it. I just told my wife. Did you pray about it? See, you should have prayed. No, I'm just kidding. No, we were just talking. And so this guy said, well, I'm going to take you to get some suits tomorrow. I went, okay. He said, you ever been measured for a suit? I said, yeah, I don't go that way. I, you know, get them on sale, you know, wherever I can. And he said, I'm gonna get you measured for some suits tomorrow. I said, okay. And sure enough, he took me and he said, pick out the cloth and pick out the lining and you can pick out the pockets and design the suit. And I mean, it was like I was I felt like this big, you know, I'm thinking I don't deserve this. I don't deserve this. And so the guy, you know, he said, OK, I want you. He said, now I want you. I want you to get this color suit. I want you to get that color suit. I'm not going to tell you how many suits you got me because it's crazy. This is one of the suits here. This this right here, it's called a ticket pocket. So what is it for? I don't know. I don't. I don't have any tickets, but you know, if I ever get one, I got a pocket that they go in, a ticket pocket. And even the slant of the pockets and the stitching, and I got to pick out the material, and I picked out the, you like that? That's pretty nice, okay? And you see what this says here? This is crazy. It says custom made for Dr. Chuck Hardy. Say, what is that? That's just God. And he wants to do that for everybody. The beauty of thy holiness. He wants to give us so many things, but he needs to be number one in our life. Declaring him. Oh God, please, I want to talk to someone about you today. Lord, tomorrow, I want to talk to someone about you. It could be someone that just comes across your path, even unbeknownst. Didn't know that was going to happen. But when you start doing that, I'll guarantee you, it changes everything. That's what our founders did. They declared to the whole world that God is. And because God is, they said, we're going to go up against something impossible. Impossible odds. You get that, right? There's no way that anyone ever thought they would win against Great Britain. Two years later, people started kicking in because they realized, wow, something's happening over there. Miracle after miracle after miracle after miracle. Our declaration should be Him. Because one day every man's work shall be made manifest, for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. And look, what I'm saying is this, your job, that is your profession, that you earn your livelihood that way. Your declaration in God or of God is your life. That should be your life. That was the life of our forefathers, and it should be ours as well. Number two, very quickly, determination. I love this. See what it says in verse two? For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified. So when I talk to people, I'm not so concerned of what they know, I'm concerned what they've determined not to know. By the way, God, He wants to know that too. What are you determined not to know? There are certain things I'm determined not to see. Certain things I'm determined not to hear. Not to think. Certain places I'm determined not to go. You see why? Because I want to know Him more. So the more I determine not to know certain things, The more I can see him and the more he clears. Hey, determination not to know. What are you determined not to know today? Music of the world, the gospel of man, wrong things. Oh, let me let me tell you, it's this. Let me tell you something about someone. This is the truth. Yeah, but is it the truth spoken in love? I just don't listen to those things. It's not in my realm that I should listen to those things. And so we need to be thinking on the pure things and the true things, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are of a good report. If there be any virtue, if there be any praise, think on these things. And that's what our founders did. They determined not to think about the slights of men. They determined not to know the cold. You imagine marching in the snow, getting up in the morning, and your little toe breaks off. Or your feet are cracking and bleeding, and you're still there marching. Imagine you're away from your families, and you get a report that some of the native Americans are attacking along the area that your homestead is. Imagine that you are told that you're going up against an unbelievable amount of hardened soldiers. How many ever heard the story of Paul Revere? And what Paul Revere do? Did I tell this the last time I was here? Story of Paul, you think so? Paul Revere, you know, riding through the, well, he didn't ride through the town crying the British are coming. It's all clandestine because only one third of the populace was on the side of the patriots, but he went to one man's house, pastor's house, because that's where the minutemen were, and that's where the stores of ammunition were. And so he went to that one man's house, Jonas Clark, and warned them that the British were coming. And I'll minimize this story because I think I told the last time. But hey, what I'm saying is they said there's going to be about 800 British regulars tomorrow on Lexington Green. And Jonas Clark, the pastor, said, well, we have about 100 and some men. But we're going to get them out there. And they did. They got them 100, just a little over 100 men against 800. But they determined not to look at the odds. They were walking lockstep with destiny. And sure enough, the British regulars said, lay down your arms, you rebels! Their commander said, remember what our pastor said. Don't fire first. Because God will bless a war of defense much more than a war of offense. But if they mean to have a war, let it begin here. And as they continued to curse them, finally a shot rang out from the British side. And then another. That first shot was the shot heard around the world. Eighteen men lay dead and dying on Lexington Green. All members of a pastor's church. But they basically were the men that stood and garnered that attack that began the war that allow us to be here tonight to be able to preach and your pastor this next Sunday to preach the the word without any fear they determined not to know these things. If you determine not to know, then I think this it's it's an amazing thing to me. We we can get that demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit of God. The demonstration of the power is that fortitude, that that resoluteness to go on. What is it going to take? To stop us, if we have the declaration If we have the determination not to know certain things so we can see Him more clearly, if we have the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit of God living within us, I'll guarantee you something, folks, nothing will stop us. Too many times the Christian is, you might say, not as resolute as they should be. Now, I love those characters in history that stand no matter what because they have done these three things. And they know that the demonstration of who they are and what they are in time and history is so very real to them. Like Winston Churchill, he stood up against the Nazi regime. And basically waited for America to join the fight when they wanted him to sue for peace through Mussolini to Hitler. You know how that worked for most of the other nations and Winston Churchill. I just kind of like the guy because he was very outspoken and you could never get over on Winston Churchill. I mean, he had a woman that was his nemesis. Her name was Lady Astor. And Lady Astor one time looked at him and said, Sir Winston, because he was very outspoken, if you were my husband, I should put poison in your tea. He said, Lady Astor, if you were my wife, I should drink it. Another time, and I don't excuse this, I don't excuse this, but yeah, Winston Churchill did abide, and I'm so sorry that he did, and alcohol, but he was inebriated, and she came up to him one time and said, so Winston, I think you're snookered. He said, Lady Astor, I think you're ugly, but tomorrow I shall be sober. Fill in the blank, okay? But another one of those guys was here in America, Teddy Roosevelt. Now, Teddy took some liberties with the Constitution. I would agree with that. But I love Teddy's spirit, his spirit of life. You understand that one time when he was running for the presidency a second time on a third party ticket, someone came up and tried to shoot him point blank, almost in the chest, went through his metal case. which was holding his glasses, threw a thick speech and then into his muscular chest and lodged against his rib, didn't puncture his lung miraculously, that was God's providence. And it didn't even knock him off his feet. He just kind of staggered back a little bit. Everyone jumped on that would-be assailant. He said, don't hurt him, don't hurt him, bring him to me, bring him to me. And they brought him over to Teddy and Teddy looked at him with a snare that probably killed most people. He took out his handkerchief and Plug the hole in his chest. And they said, So, Mr. President, we're going to get you to the hospital. He said, No, no, no, no, no, you aren't. I'm going to make a speech. I have 4000 people waiting to hear me. They said, Sir, you've been shot. You're in shock. He said, I know I've been shot, but I'm not in shock. So you can help me get out of my way. They knew better to argue with Teddy, okay? Why they ever named the teddy bear after Teddy, I don't know, but that's another story. So in any case, they get Teddy on this very quick coach, and with horses going through the streets, and sure enough, the emcee comes up. There's over 4,000 people waiting for him to make the speech. And the emcee comes out and says, President Roosevelt's here, but someone's tried to shoot him. He's been shot, but he's here, and he's going to address us. You could hear a pin drop. Here comes Teddy. He said, that's true. That's true. He was running into what was called the bull moose party. He said, but it takes more than one bullet to kill an old bull moose. He pulled back his shirt, I mean his coat, and showed them the bullet hole and the blood drenching down. All the women went, ah. He said, that's OK. I'm having a A1 time in life, and I'm here, and I'm going to speak. But I can't speak as long as I would normally speak. And so, sure enough, he started to speak. They stood up and started giving him standing ovations. Boy, that just... He spoke for over an hour. You say, Brother Harding, I understand, because, you know, last couple of nights you've been... But no, OK. But he spoke for over an hour with a bullet in him. Finally, he had filled up one of his combo boots with blood. And he said, well, I have to... Go get this attended. I'm starting to feel a little lightheaded. So they rushed him to the hospital and the doctors got him laid out. And the doctors said, from the account of the book that I've read concerning this, he said, the doctor said, this is the most muscular man we've ever had on our operation table. Just the sheer mass of his muscle in his chest slowed down that bullet enough so it didn't puncture his lung and take his life. The author said this was a quintessential Roosevelt. to cheat death, to live, to fight another day. You know, and I thought, wow. He gave a speech, a political speech, for an hour, with a bullet in his chest. What's it gonna take to stop us? You know, too many times people say, well, I don't feel too good, so I'm not going to church tonight, you know. I have a little sniffle. I don't know if I told you this, but I think it's apropos right here. When I was in Alaska, I got sick in the middle of a message sick to my I mean, and I'm not going to go into detail for you ladies. OK, but I lost my cookies. I went out the front. There was a door, thankfully, right there by the pulpit. I said, I'll be right back. And I went out, and I lost it now. When I expectorate, it's violent. And the guys came out, and they went, oh, Brother Hardy, are you OK? I said, yeah, yeah. As soon as I could talk, yeah, I'll be, I'll be. And I went in, and I finished my message. Amen? Well, you were sick, yeah. But I told God, it's not going to stop me from finishing this message. Very important. See, when we declare, when we have a declaration in our life that God is, that is reminiscent of the great men of yesteryear. Can we not rise to where they were and once again understand our nation was given to us so we continue to declare that God is and that not only is he, but he gave his son. who died on the cross and shed his blood for your sins and for mine. And then determine not to know. I'm not going to know certain things. I don't want to know what's going on in the new sitcoms. I don't want to know the hellacious things that are happening that aren't necessary to where I need to be. I don't want to know the music of the world. I don't want to know the gossip of man. I've determined not to know certain things so I can know him more. So he'll reveal himself unto me more so that I can see the demonstration. There's nothing in the world in talking to someone and saying, wouldn't you like to know for sure when you die you're going to heaven? And they look at you and they say, yes. And you see that spark of eternity. You've just presented the gospel, and the Lord has revealed it to them. Isn't it great? We don't have to make anyone understand the gospel. All we need to do is just present it, and the Holy Spirit reveals it to them. Takes all the pressure off of us, doesn't it? Well, I gotta make sure that, no, no, you don't. I can remember when I was a little, just a college student and didn't know much, but I had all the verses memorized, and man, I went in and I delivered a presentation that was flawless. I mean, are all the verses right? Everything flowed just perfectly? And I even asked the person, so you want to get saved, right? And they said, no. Huh? After that presentation? I was just in Bible college. So I walked out. Went to the next door, knocked on the door, got in, and I presented the gospel again. This time, I was baffled. I was befuddled. I couldn't find this verse. I mean, the presentation was awful. I got it done, but it was just, I was fumbling all over myself. And I even asked them, you wouldn't want to get saved, would you? They said, yeah. I went, what? You do? I do that? And sure enough, they accepted the Lord. I walked out, and that still small voice said, see, it's not you. It's me. You just present it. I reveal it to them. I don't know about you. That's a real meal deal. And we get to do that. In the miracle called America, we get to declare that God is. We determine not to know certain things so we can know him better, so we can see the demonstration of the Holy Spirit's power in our life. Walk into those congressmen's offices. give them tracts and tell them, hey, we are here to pray for you. And I can feel the Holy Spirit of God descend upon that office. And I look at them and I can tell they can sense it also. We've seen people get saved in congressional offices, in the Capitol. bow their head and accept Jesus Christ as Savior right there in the offices. It's amazing. It's the most amazing thing. It's amazing wherever it happens. I've even had a pastor go in and speak to a Muslim. And the Muslim gave him 45 minutes to an hour. And then he prayed with this Muslim congressman. And then the Muslim came to his church and showed up his church. And he said, what are you doing, sir? He said, well, you came to visit me. I'm going to come visit you. And so the pastor preached just a simple salvation message. And the Muslim stayed the whole time that he was there, came up and said, you know what? That's very interesting. I need to think about that. And then he told the pastor, can I address your people for a minute? I'm sure he swallowed kind of hard, said, well, OK, for a minute. Well, he got up in front of the people. He said, you understand, being a Muslim congressman in the United States, I've had a lot of death threats. But your pastor came in. And looked at me and said, I want you to know God loves you and I love you. He said, you know what that was? Like a breath of fresh air. Your pastor is a man of faith. And he said, thank you, church, for getting him there. That's why I'm here. I thought, wouldn't it be wonderful to see a Muslim come to know the Lord Jesus Christ? That man's thinking. Amen. So what is America? America is a place where we can declare that God is. That we can determine not to know certain things so we can know him better. So that we can see those people. Delivered from the power of darkness and translated into his dear son. That's America. It's all about the salvation that's in the Lord Jesus Christ. But what can I do for my country? First and foremost, get someone saved. Secondly, you know what you can do? You can pray and ask God. We've covered a lot of ground and I'm done tonight. But what can I do for my country? Don't ask me, ask God. Because he'll tell you. Say, what are you talking about? I'm talking about this. You ask God, I would like to do something. I don't know what it is, but I'd like to do something. Maybe it's just maybe it's running for a school board. I mean, there was a 19 year old just out of high school that won a position on a school board in New Jersey, a born again believer. I knew a pastor out in California, he got activated, went to his city hall meeting and where the mayor is supposed to be and they were trying to bring cannabis to cultivate it into this agricultural area and he said, no, we shouldn't do that. The mayor wasn't even there at this city council meeting. He said we shouldn't do it because it's wrong fiscally, it's wrong morally, it's wrong socially, it's going to bring this. And then he sat down and the mayor called him. Now he was just given a half an hour every other week for a city hall meeting. The mayor called him and said, you know, I listened to you, Pastor, you're right. I was the one that was going to bring it. It's not going to happen now. So that whole little sleepy area in California that was so agriculturally, you know, and very conservative, it's protected because one man spoke up. There was a pastor in Florida. Pastor in Florida said, Brother Hardy, I want to do something about the Capitol, but I don't know anything about politics. I said, you don't need to know. Just go in and start praying with people. He said, really? I said, yeah. You don't have to know anything about politics. Just start praying with people. First person he sat down to and with and started praying was a Democratic woman. When he got through, she said, you know what? My whole attitude and opinion towards pastors after meeting you has changed. You're nice people. And so he walked out and then we had a we had a big event there. I helped kick it off. We gave one of the books I authored out to everybody. And and the speaker pro temp came to this man and said, hey, how would you like it if we passed a pastor's protection act? where pastors cannot be sued by transgender or same gender people for not allowing them in their church or marrying them. How'd you like that? Would that be good? We'll take the corporations out and just be pastors. He said, yeah, I think that'd be a good idea. And so sure enough, they floated the bill. They caucused, the Democrats caucused, and this woman stood up and said, hey, we need to do this for our pastors. They're nice people. You've seen them. They come pray for us. Another Democratic woman. She stood up. She said, she's right. These are nice people. We need to. And they passed it. The first bill in America to protect pastors in Florida. I can go on and on and on. All the things that have happened. Amazing stories everywhere that you can think of where just people started getting involved and speaking up. Amazing things, because God will back up every person that follows Him to do something for our country because He loves our nation. He has a vested interest in our nation. All for, you might say, that one thing, to keep the pulpit free by getting educated, getting engaged, and treating God's mercy upon our country. Oh, I know about you, but I'm very excited about the Supreme Court coming out with their opinion. about the abortion. Oh, so to my air, she's nervous. She's dissenting, of course. Good for her. Go ahead. Shows us her true colors. But you understand the power of salvation to keep the pulpit free. It all comes back to the Jesus to Jesus Christ and the blood that was shed in this pulpit and any pulpit in America. And every one of us can do something. To keep our country going forward. I sought for a man among them that should make up that stand the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy. But I found none. How many is he going to find? Or he's going to find one right here every day. Lord, have mercy on us for one more day. One more day. Because there's so many that don't know they're left from the right. And we have so many cattle, isn't that? What they said, so many cattle. God is a merciful God. I want to see our country go forward. Every one of us can do something. Well, you know, I'm maybe you say, well, I'm I'm too old for that. Oh, no, no, no. No one's ever too old. As long as you breathe and you can still do something for God. Isn't that good? Amen. Hey, I'm 68. I'm going to be 69 in October. You say, well, why'd you say that? Because, I mean, some people would call that old. I feel like I'm 18. I'm just getting started. Amen. Amen. You're a pastor, so they're just youngsters. You know you got a couple youngsters here that were not great. Remember everyone can do something for our country. We have a miraculous nation. Let's hold on to it. Ask God. What can I do? And he'll show you I guarantee he'll show you. Get the Constitution and read it. Read the Constitution. It takes a half an hour to read. I had someone say you know I read the Constitution. I said yeah I believe you did. But so many people have never even read the Constitution. That's a good place to start don't you think? And then go from there. God, what can I do? Show me what I can do and I'll do it. Give out a track that's very patriotic. Talk to someone about the Lord. Very patriotic. But whatever it is, let's get working on. Let's pray and ask God to have mercy on our nation so that we can see our country continue to go forward. What is it going to take? How bad does it have to get? Before we do something for our God and for our country. It's been such a blessing to be with you. Thank you so much for all of your kind remarks, comfortable accommodations, food, the fellowship. I've enjoyed, as I know my wife has, every moment with you. And if there's any questions, feel free to ask them afterwards. But let's have a word of prayer together. Heavenly Father, as we close now this God and Country Rally, we're so thankful for Brother Schweitzer, Brother Redkay, for the vision that Brother Schweitzer and Brother Redkay have for our country, for you, Lord, realizing that you gave us this nation. Thank you, Father, for their leadership. Bless them and their families. Bless this church in a miraculous way. Father, continue to lead and guide them, protect them. And Lord, continue to show them things that they can do for you as I know you will. Help us, dear God, each and every one of us to realize that we can all do something for the cause by staying informed, by staying involved, and by staying in prayer to you. Now, Father, we ask as we close As all heads are bowed that you'd allow your Holy Spirit to work the minds and hearts of these that are here tonight. And Lord, as I ask this one question, I pray, Lord, that your Holy Spirit would direct and guide. As all eyes are closed and all heads are bowed, is there one person here tonight that would say, Brother Harding, would you pray for me I don't even know for sure that I'm going to heaven when I die, and I just would like you to pray for me. No one's going to come to you. We're not going to embarrass you, but if you'd like me to pray for you, I'd be more than honored to do so. Pray for me, Brother Harding. I don't know for sure that I'm going to heaven, but I am positive. I don't want to go to hell. Here's my hand. Pray for me, Brother Harding. Anyone like that at all? Anyone like that? Okay, thank you. I would say, Brother Harding, I want to do something for my country. I don't know exactly what it is, but I want to do something for my country. Would you pray with me that God would continue to show me what I can do for my country? And something that you said tonight touched my heart. Here's my hand. Pray for me, Brother Harding. Lift your hand. Yes. Thank you. Hands everywhere. Hands everywhere. Heavenly Father, again, you're so good to us. Thank you for loving us before we ever loved you. Thank you for loving the unlovely. And Lord, as we bow together, brothers and sisters in Christ, the family. Father, we want you to know we love you and so thankful for all your goodness to us. When we get to heaven, we will be amazed at all the blessings that we didn't even know the times of protection that you entered in that we were not aware of and how you guided us. Please guide each and every person here, what you would have them to do for you and the spiritual liberty and your son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and for our country and the civil liberty that gives us the permission to accomplish that great commission. of the salvation and the truth. And thank you, Lord, that truth has a name, and His name is Jesus Christ. For it's in His name we pray. Amen.
