Good morning, everyone. Today is Tuesday morning. It's the 4th of April. And anyone that listens to this video, I would encourage you to access a program which I've mentioned many times on Facebook and Sermon Audio, and that is KingJamesBibleOnline.org. It's been a great, great source for me over the years. One of the greatest parts of KingJamesBibleOnline.org is their search program. You can search words, or you can search verses, or you can search phrases or sentences in the Bible. And this morning I did a word search on the word hope. That's what I've entitled this video is hope. And I just put in the word hope on this kingjamesversiononline.org and you know what I came up with? I came up with five pages and 121 times the word hope is mentioned in the Bible. Romans 8 24 For we are saved by hope, but hope that is seen is not hope for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 1 Corinthians 9 10 He that ploweth should plow in hope, and he that thresheth in hope should be a partaker of his hope. Romans 4.18 Who against hope believe in hope that he might become the father of many nations according to that which was spoken so shall thy seed be. Romans 15.13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. Lamentation 321 This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. Romans 12 12 Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing instant in prayer. Psalm 39 7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? My hope is in Thee. Psalm 33, 22, Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us according as we hope in thee. Jeremiah 17, 7, Be not a terror unto me, thou art my hope in the day of evil. Psalm 119, 114, Thou art my hiding place and my shield, I hope in thy word. Lamentation 324, The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I hope in Him. Psalm 131.3, Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and forever. Psalm 16 9 Therefore my heart is glad in my glory to rejoice in. My flesh also shall rest in hope. 1 John 3 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifying himself, even as he is pure. Psalm 31 24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. Titus 3.7, that being justified by His grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 1.2, in hope of eternal life, which God that cannot lie promised before the world began. Psalm 119.49 Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope. Acts 2.26 Therefore did my heart rejoice in my tongue, was glad moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope. Romans 5.2, by whom also we have access by faith unto this grace, wherein we stand and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Psalm 119.81, My soul feigneth for thy salvation, but I hope at thy word. Psalm 130 verse 5, I wait for the Lord, and my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. Psalm 147 verse 11, The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, and those that hope in his mercy. Lamentation 326. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Ephesians 4.4 There is one body and one spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. Romans 8.20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope. Romans 5.5 And hope maketh not a shame, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Hebrews 6.11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end. Hebrews 7.19, for the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did, by the which we draw nigh unto God. Well, that's just a couple pages. There's a total of five. It's just a couple pages, you know. But, my question to you today is, do you have hope? Do you have hope? Looking for that blessed hope in the glorious appearing of our great God and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Psalm 213. Galatians 5.5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 1 Peter 1.13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end, for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 5.8 Let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith, love, and a helmet of hope of salvation. Jeremiah 17.7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Psalm 130 verse 7, Let Israel hope in the Lord, for with the Lord there is mercy, and with Him is plenteous redemption. Hebrews 6.19, Which hope we have is an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which entereth into that within the veil. Psalm 146.5, Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God. Colossians 1.27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Romans 15.4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Hebrews 6.18, that by two immutable things in whom it was impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us. Proverbs 10, 28, the hope of the righteous shall be gladness, but the expectation of the wicked shall perish. Psalm 33 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon him that hope in his mercy. 1 Peter 1 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. Ephesians 1.18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. 1 Peter 1.21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory, that your faith and hope might be in God. Well, like I said, this has been a great blessing over the years having these word studies that we can look up certain words, which leads us from one thing to greater knowledge of God by studying His Word. You know... Job 3.16 the Lord also shall roar out of Zion and utter his voice from Jerusalem and the heavens and the earth shall shake but the Lord will be the hope of his people and the strength of the children of Israel.
