What a beautiful day. Well this looks like our first really warm week and good weather all this week so enjoy it enjoy it make the most of it a lot of folks are traveling so pray for one another the next week will be able to gather back together and worship God again. All right, 1 Corinthians 15, there's a group of four-year-olds who were gathered in a Sunday school class in Tennessee. The teacher looked at the class and asked this question, does anyone know what today is? And a little four-year-old girl held up her hand and said, yes, today is Palm Sunday. So this would have been last Sunday back then. And the teacher exclaimed, that's fantastic, wonderful, now does anyone know what next Sunday is? The same girl was so excited to participate, she held up her hand once again and said, yes, next Sunday is Easter Sunday. Once again the teacher said, that's fantastic, now does anyone know what makes next Sunday Easter same little girl she responded and she said yes next Sunday is Easter because Jesus rose from the grave and before the teacher could congratulate her she kept on talking and said but if he if he sees a shadow he has to go back in the end for seven weeks. Kind of confusing. Those special days. First Corinthians fifteen notice first fifty one. This is the resurrection chapter of Scripture and also rapture chapter one of the rapture chapters of Scripture beginning verse fifty one in behold I show you a mystery we shall not all sleep but we shall be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump, the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. There's a metamorphosis that takes place. This corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall put on incorruption, this mortal shall put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. That thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, because of all that, My beloved brethren, be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Our message is taken from verse 57 in particular, but thanks be to God. which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ giving thanks to God for the resurrection that's our theme tonight and this hope that we have this truth that we're looking forward to of the rapture resurrection it's a great thing Aretha Franklin she was called the queen of soul died of pancreatic cancer back in twenty eighteen at the age of seventy six Her funeral was on August 31st, and it was preceded by three days of public viewings. On each of those three days, her body was dressed in a different outfit. The unforgettable funeral service took place at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit. where those in attendance and online listened to pastors and politicians and pop stars. They all made their way to the pulpit to memorialize her life. Prior to the service, they had a procession of 100 pink Cadillacs escorting an ivory hearse carrying her gold-plated casket. And when Jesus died he had no such celebration. No no fanfare with with his funeral service for sure as Joseph of Arimathea took the body down and they wrapped his body up and laid it in that in that borrowed to. Although few will ever attend a service of such extravagance, much less be laid to rest like that, death is the great equalizer all of us have to pass in this life through this thing called death. And we each step into eternity at the same crossroads. No matter your background, rich, poor, where you come from, all those types of things, that's irrelevant. All of us will face an eternity. And go through death we're waiting for the rapture to take place. But unless the rapture happens in your lifetime you will physically. Die. Our bodies will be returned to the ground from. Dust our to dust. To dust off shall return. Jesus he and his burial but his internment. It was extremely temporary. Now many people want to have church and sometimes even church people want to have Easter without Calvary. But we need Calvary. It's through the cross that we have salvation. It's by His blood that was shed that we have forgiveness of sins, that our sins can be remitted, have remission, forgiveness, the covering, the cleansing of the blood of Jesus. He had to go to the cross. It was God's eternal plan. He paid such a heavy price for our sin. He had no sin of His own, but His own sin. You know I read about a. Was it a restaurant. I know it was it was a restaurant like a bar type place and they had. A display out and it said something about Jesus paying the price for his sins. People really upset about that. You know he had no sense of his own. People were saying stuff like that and in a bar setting like that it was it was made news and my newsfeed so I was able to see that. But Jesus had no sin of his own. On a on our devotional website, Pastor Harness dot com, an article from three days ago just talks about how he had no sin and he took our sin. He took your sin and mine. His death is what makes our sins forgiven. His life is what guarantees that we can live forever. And so let's take just a moment tonight to be thankful for Jesus. Verse 57, classic verse, but thanks be to God which giveth us the victory, like the song Victory in Jesus, through our Lord Jesus Christ. He had to go to the cross for us to have victory and to die in order to be resurrected so that we can know that we're on the winning side. Because Jesus conquered sin, death, and hell. And so we can have victory in Jesus. You can have victory in Jesus. Now it appears, it's very obvious to me and perhaps to you as well, there's a lot of part-time Christians You know I'll do what's easy what's convenient whatever I think will work instead of going the road that Jesus has for them to go down. Jesus went up the difficult path to Calvary. And sometimes our lives as Christians will also include difficulty and trouble. The part-time Christians, as somebody said, part-time Christians have a hard time against the full-time Satan. and Satan's full time against you is full time against us tonight. So we have victory in Jesus you know this last week I was really thankful for the good work of you as a church of Pastor Maria Betsy did great with organizing the program and and there was a spiritual battle taking place. There's a spiritual battle every time we come to church. There was a boy a few weeks ago sitting right over here and he walked out when I talked about the gospel because he wanted to believe in things other than the gospel and I was talking about how other religions can't save you you could just see I could see his face and talk to him afterwards and and and this this conflict in him that was raging you know here's Satan and here's Jesus the Holy Spirit saying trust me and Satan saying no trust these other religions. And these other things that that you love and he wasn't getting the victory this boy didn't get the victory. He's still not safe but as a Christian we have the victory and Part-time Christians have a hard time against the full-time state and notice how the victory comes it comes through him It's through our Lord Jesus Christ. We're through it's a primary preposition denotes a channel of an action or a channel of an act through like a a river is a channel it's a conduit for something the conduit for victory the channel the river for victory is the Lord Jesus himself. You know I'm going to have victory. I'm going to defeat sin or I'm going to defeat the grave you know I'll I'll have my. My chromosomes you know people work on that scientists and try to try to make me have eternal life physically. That's not going to happen. Our victory only comes through Christ. He's the conduit. He's the path. He's the way. He's the road to winning. Friends there's no other avenue for victory. And you could say that in any area of life. So our victory comes through him when it comes to you going to heaven. It's not because of your goodness. It's because of victory through Christ. It's not because, well, you know, I I did a good checklist when I was following Christianity. It's not that our Christianity is a relationship, by the way. And we end up sometimes putting those checklists out there. But our victory comes through the Lord Jesus Christ. Notice what the victory is for. It's for him. Is it just all about us? No, it's not all about us. It's all about Jesus. Our victory comes through him, and it's for him. As this verse says, the word for Lord is the word kurios, means Lord or Master. Here's a question is Jesus the master. Of your life. I love hearing the testimonies of the teenagers. Who heard a lot of good preaching this week and they had a simulated bonfire. It was raining on Friday night so we couldn't have an outside bonfire because of the potential for lightning and things and. So they were able to play games the Lord held the weather off of the games and so up here I don't know if you got upstairs or not but that room is jam-packed each night with teenagers on that last night they had a fire on the screen and it was just it was very creative I like this it was like a preaching service right by the fire good culmination for the end of the week and they had a very good practice I love that the teenagers would walk over and talk to one of the assistant leaders and tell them here's my testimony and then the leader would evangelist and government he'd say OK here's a teenager come on up and and they'd give their their testimony of what God was doing then they would screen another person over here I guess would be good term for that and they would say here's what God's been dealing with me in my life and then they'd come up and talk and Testimony after testimony, teenagers making decisions to walk with God, to be obedient to their parents, to be submissive to the Lord Jesus Christ in their life. And it was a wonderful thing. So here's the question, is Jesus the Lord of your life? If someone was to ask you who's in charge of your life, what would you say? What would you say? who is in charge of your life. You see we live our lives not for ourselves but for Christ. After all we do not belong to ourselves but we belong to Jesus two times in first Corinthians chapter six also chapter seven Says this for your bought with the price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirits, which are God's. And then you are bought with the price. Be not ye the servants of men. We have victory in Jesus. We have vision then for the future. Notice this vision beginning in verse fifty two. In a moment, in a twinkling of an eye. I love that word, twinkling. It's not an eye blink. Eye blinks are rather slow, even though you can't see it. It's rather fast physically, but a twinkle is the speed of light. It's how fast light bounces off your eye. And so in the twinkling of an eye, So here's a question. What does your future hold? We do not know when we'll die or how we'll die, but we can have peace. Because Jesus is alive, we can have peace facing the future. We do not know what a day will bring forth, but we know the God who owns the day. Who controls the day? Who gives us that day? We should plan ahead for the future. It's good to think about what does God have for me in the future. There was a death years ago over in Oklahoma City. a noted Oklahoma preacher and he he had a thing set up with his insurance that his congregation would receive four hundred thousand dollars when he died it was his insurance deals was a four hundred thousand dollar insurance policy And it was so that they could work on their next building, a youth center that he envisioned for his church. And so the church had insured him for that, and he died. And they were able to then build this million-dollar facility here. He was planning for the future. He knew he was going to die at some point. He was planning ahead. And he wanted a legacy to continue on to be a place for the gospel. We have a vision for the future. Now, some young men were helpful in handing these little papers out here. Do you have these tonight? Can you see those? Is the screen not working tonight? Wow OK there's no power point. So anyway this was going to be on the screen to this this little timeline so it's good that it's on paper for you. So notice there the Old Testament on the left hand side will go from left to right. Yes real. We have the law. Things were physical material you could say that everyone get one of these who didn't get one. Anybody can get anyone OK. All right. Can some other young fellows come up here and grab those and hand them out? All right. Good. Okay. Manasseh, you can take them over there. Jake, you can take some over there. All right. Hey, check it out. All right. That's good. All right so we do have a timeline part of this is intimated and taught here in first Corinthians fifteen. So the Old Testament the law it's material and then we have Jesus coming to this earth. He came with the purpose of dying on the cross Christ crucified. You could say this that the kingdom is postponed Then a lot of people look at Jesus and say you know we were expecting a kingdom right now but he wasn't coming to set up a kingdom right now he would say the kingdom of heaven is and he would say it's coming one day but it wasn't coming to the kingdom of heaven's postponed and now we're living in this church period called the church age or the age of grace We're in here somewhere now I don't know if we're over in this side of it or on this side of it but. I would speculate I would suggest to you that we're not here in the middle or over here at the beginning of the church age I would guess that we're around here. We don't know when the rapture is going to take place. in a moment like we read in twinkling of an eye any moment the trumpet could sound in God's people be snatched out of this or. We can look forward to that this is the blessed hope we're to be looking for so this is an age that's very spiritual in nature this the New Testament air which we're living in now we could call the rapture then the secret coming the secret coming. and it's not the second coming because the second coming is when Jesus actually touches down on the Mount of Olives that doesn't take place the next thing in Bible eschatology something that we can look forward to and we'll use this chart in our study in the next few months through the book of Revelation is the secret coming or the rapture of the church and people will kind of make conjecture you know what happened to all these these Christians where these people go Where's the infants in the baby nursery? You know, all those types of things would be the question of the day. Do lots of people hear the trumpet sound? We'll answer that whenever we get to to that moment in Revelation chapter four but right here the people don't hear the lost people don't hear the trumpet sound but who does this the Christians. Everyone else is left believing a lie they're kind of wondering conjecturing where all the people who love Jesus where all the moral people go where all these these kids go things like that. All right then there's seven years of tribulation and great tribulation starts at halfway point right there at that time the church is in heaven so the rapture takes place church that's us we're in heaven and on the earth the line still dark there on purpose because well it's a dark time on this earth when Jesus is judging a Jesus rejecting world then we come back with Christ This is the second coming he touches down on the Mount of Olives the earth splits there's an earthquake and he walks into Jerusalem as the king of the millennial kingdom that's one thousand years and we have Jesus ruling with a rod of iron the Bible says so it's very much a second opportunity for the people of Israel We're following his law during that time and it is physical. It is a physical kingdom on the earth and then Satan's released after a thousand years he leads a rebellion. There's one final war and then there is the last judgment the resurrection of the unsafe he says depart from me. I never knew you all of that is something look forward to in the future. We're looking forward in a way ahead looking ahead to to these things so the next thing in this timeline to take place is the rapture we're waiting for Christ we are listening for the trumpet. And think about how wonderful this is these verses here this corruptible shall put on incorruption this mortal speaking of our bodies put on immortality you get a new body. A body that's free of pain, no sickness, no cough, whatever your ailment is, you won't have it. And that's great news. And you know, a lot of us at different stages in our life will have a lot of different physical calamities that are just sometimes overwhelming. You will have any of that in heaven. A new body a body that's not corruptible. You mean you mean I could be around sick people not get sick. Yes. Yes. You don't have to worry about germs and sickness and what you eat or don't eat things like that. That won't matter. You have a new body it's a glorified body like the body of the Lord Jesus Christ will have an eternity with Jesus in heaven. What is heaven like. Turn over to Revelation twenty one. What is heaven like. Revelation twenty one the whole chapter is about heaven. Chapter twenty two it's about heaven. I'll just skim through. A few of these. Verses. I saw a new heaven in a new earth for the first heaven in the first earth were passed away. There was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God, out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them. They shall be his people, and God shall be with them and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away. And he that sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write, for these words are true and faithful. He said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega the beginning and the end I will give it to him that is the thirst of the fountain of the water of life freely keep going down if you would notice the first eight the fearful and I believe in the above little murderers or mongers and sorcerers idolaters all liars so have no so have their part in the lake of fire which burnt with fire and brimstone which is the second death. So they're not in heaven and notice as we continue on verse twelve. It talks about the wall had a great wall a great wall high and had 12 gates at the 12 gates had names written there on which are the names of the 12 tribes of the children of Israel. I mean there's such detail such immensity such incredible architecture to heaven on the east three gates on the north three gates south three gates west three gates In the wall the city had twelve foundations in the names of the twelve apostles of the land so you have the Old Testament's represented the New Testament's represented all of it has to do with Jesus he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city the gates are of the wall thereof and the city line four square the length of it as large as the breath he measured the city with the reed twelve thousand furlongs the length of breath the height of it are equal so you have this cube This is the shape of having you know these different levels and having the streets of the streets of gold you have these mansions that God's made these dwelling places he measured the wall again and then the building of the wall knows first eighteen was of Jasper the city was pure gold likened to clear glass the foundations of the wall the city were guards with all manner of precious stones The first foundation was Jasper, the second Sapphire, the third Chalcedony, the fourth an Emerald, the fifth Sardonyx, the sixth Sardius, the seventh Crystallite, the eighth Beryl, the ninth Topaz, the tenth Chrysoprasus, the eleventh adjacent, the twelfth an Amethyst. The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Just imagine the immensity of that pearl. I was about to say of that clam you know that made the pearl. But then notice in verse twenty two there's no temple in heaven. Well in their temple in Jerusalem there's no temple there in for the Lord God Almighty in the land the temple of it you know we worship God wherever God is that's the temple. That's why the Bible says you're the temple of the living God your body is the housing the dwelling place of God as a Christian. He dwells in you. That's why we're to live the Christian life the honor of the Lord Jesus Christ. said he had no need of the sun. Why not? No moon. No need for stars. Why? Because the lamb is the light thereof. and that's going down to verse twenty or chapter twenty to show me a pure river of water of life clears crystal proceeding out of the throne of God of the land and in the midst of the street of there were on either side of the river a tree of life which bear twelve men or fruits and yielded her fruit every month. So there's a harvest every month the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations there shall be no more curse You know that incredible body. Well there's going to be no problem with things growing there's no more curse but the throne of God in a lamb a lamb shall be in it and his servants shall serve him. There's no night in verse five. They don't need a candle because Jesus is the no need for the sun because Jesus is the light knows down in verse. Seven behold I come quickly blessed is he that keepeth the saints of the prophecy of this book and I John saw these things and heard them and when I had heard and seen I fell down to worship before a few of the angel was showed me these things said see they'll do it not. where I'm a fellow servant and of my brother in the prophets and of them which keep the same to this book he says worship God and so here we have a just a real quick description reading through these two chapters of what heaven is like it's absolutely amazing. When we get to this portion, we'll go over in greater detail, kind of whet your appetite for what heaven will be like for us. It's greater than what we can imagine. As descriptive as these terms are, it just will blow our minds of how incredible heaven is. We have victory in Jesus. We have a vision for the future. So is your vision for the future? Does that include heaven? I hope that it does. He wants you to trust Christ. This morning, I understand we had maybe two people trusted Christ. for salvation in our morning service so I thank the Lord for that you know it's just tremendous it brings us to our third truth we have a vocation in the present notice verse fifty eight. If you're ever discouraged read this chapter and then stop with this verse. Therefore my beloved brethren be steadfast unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. We have an incentive for being faithful to and serving Jesus. Now, I thank God for every one of you here today and everyone in our church and people that come together to serve and to help in ministry. We would have had the turnout of people this morning if you hadn't invited people to sit with you in church or to give them a track weeks ago. And to invite someone to sit with you in church you know God used you for that same thing with the team program we were praying God responded to that prayer you help hand things out you provided food people were helping with preparing things and getting things ready all of those things church cannot continue without helpers in ministry. Some churches have 10% of the people doing 90% of the work. We don't want to be a church like that. Everyone should find a way to serve and to minister, and I thank God for everyone that does. We need brethren, if you would, that are involved. And notice he says, my beloved brethren. We need to be brethren who are involved, who are Doing our part of serving the Lord when Jesus was in his earthly ministry Some of his disciples stopped serving the Lord look over in John chapter 6 if you would it's really really interesting John chapter 6 verse 66 From that time. Many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve will you. Also go away. Then Simon Peter answered him Lord to whom shall we go. Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art the Christ the son of the living God. Could you imagine that. Watching Jesus perform miracle after miracle hearing a perfect teaching of God himself of Jesus teaching the Word of God. Walking with him dining with him spending time with him so those disciples turn back and they stop following the Lord Jesus Christ. that can happen to anyone. You know any a pastor anyone leading a Sunday school class any teacher could be that some disciples just stop evil with Jesus some of his disciples stopped even today some disciples stop. I saw one person wrote this he said why do some churches remain small. Why do some churches remain small because some disciples just turn back. They just they just stop for whatever reason for whatever reason they stop following the Lord. Why do some people stop walking with Jesus. Well I don't know why it's different in each case it's not always just one specific thing but notice in our verse in order to combat that just stopping to stopping following Jesus. Here's what Paul tells the Corinthian believers you need to be anchored. He says you need to be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord. This word anchored, this idea of anchoring rather, it means to be steadfast. Steadfast is a word that's used here. Sedentary. What's the word sedentary? Sitting. Sitting. That's what it means. So here's here's one way we can look at this is that. If we're going to be steadfast with Jesus so that we don't stop walking with Jesus. And I know it's a mixed analogy. You know you're talking about walking with Jesus but sit down a while. But the fact is he says to be steadfast and what he means is to sit down. I'm going to rest for a moment with Jesus. I'm going to pause everything for a little bit with Christ. What's what's the practice that we do sometimes when we sit down stop everything. To sit with Jesus what we call that usually prayer. What's the other thing. Meditation you know it's a it's a good term people use the term meditation in unbiblical ways but that means this is kind of chew on the Word of God for a little bit devotions that could be you know it's quiet time things like that you know if you're going to be steadfast in whatever you're facing you need to have some time with Christ. and all of us need to practice that. All of us need to practice some time. So to be anchored, sit down a while with Jesus. In other words, don't have anywhere more important to go. You could say, put your roots down or rest a while. Next is unmovable. Unmovable or a term could be immovable. not being able to be moved. It's like a ship anchored to a concrete dock. It's not going anywhere. I am concerned many times And you are as well. You'll see somebody that's not anchored. You'll see somebody that's movable. They're not unmovable, but they're movable. And they're not steady in their walk with Christ. They are wavering in their commitments. They're being blown with the wind of business. and troubles and opportunities and sometimes good things, but it's drawing them away from the best things. They're unstable in their priorities. You know somebody that's unstable in their priorities? Maybe reach out to them and say, hey, you know, we miss in church. A lot of people are traveling tonight, so don't call everybody missing tonight. We'll be calling a long time. A lot of people are traveling. So we understand now on a night like this. But there there are some that they're just they're gone. Their priorities are misplaced. like demons they forsaken God. Having loved this present world. I encourage you make a decision for Jesus become anchored anchored so steadfast unmovable a good term for that is anchor could you say that anchored stride again anchored we need to be anchored to Christ next then as we become steady in our Christian life James one eighteen a double minded man is unstable in all all his ways you know Oh, going back, going back. Why not just be anchored? Why not make a decision to do it? Why not make a commitment to God and do it? Pay a vow to God. Pay your vow. Make a vow. Pay that vow to God. To God. James 4, 8, draw nigh to God. He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners. Purify your hearts you double minded to be anchored next in a bounding. Abounding is a term which means to be in excess. The term is to super abound is super abound. It could be thriving I will be thriving with Christ. It could be I'm growing in Christ. One way to look at is overflowing I'm overflowing in the things of God. I'm overflowing with the peace, the happiness, the joy, the contentment, the satisfaction that only comes from the Lord. The Christian life, it's abounding, it's overflowing in my life. In my hometown, there is a 100-foot flood wall. Could you imagine that, a 100-foot flood wall? Now, they measure that from the common height of the river, so it sounds more dramatic than it looks, but 100 foot high. And right there's the Ohio River, and then there's the Scioto River, and as they converge, after rains like this, sometimes the water would come up and it gets so high that they would put a wall, where the walls are, they have actual paths going through those walls, there's huge gates, And the military will come in and the National Guard will come in and put sandbags, put steel girders up, sandbags up whenever the floods come. And they're trying to protect the city. My hometown house had been underwater like 70 years ago or something. And so they try to protect it. Why are they doing that because the of the potential of that water of the river overflowing its banks and just overflowing when you think about the Christian life we are to overflow. were to overflow were to be super abounding abounding Christianity abounding oozing if you would out of our lives and so our cup should be running over like David said David said my cup runneth over in Psalm twenty three verse five What a great a great truth that is in you know the twenty third song that prepares the table before me in the presence of my enemies now knowing it's my head with oil my cup my cup runneth over. He didn't say that when he was a general. He didn't say that when he was a king. He said that when he was a lowly shepherd boy on the countryside watching some sheep. He said I have everything I need right here. You have that type of an outlook in life are you overflowing not with the things of this earth but with Christianity the extent to be approved to be approved or we could say appreciated notice what God says about this. at the very last phrase here for as much as you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord is not it's not empty your labor your service you living out the Christian life walking with the Lord Jesus your labor to share the gospel your labor to teach that class the sing that song to open the doors to find ways to serve behind the scenes or in any other way our labor is not in vain God accepts glory when we serve him the right way. With the right attitude. With the right motivation. At the right time. God is glorified in that. But sometimes you get the applause of men. Sometimes you get the approval, if you would, of other people. But we're not serving for that. Pats on the back are good to encourage. And I like to give people pats on the back and words of encouragement, things like that. But we don't serve for that. That's not our motivation. Our motivation is to glorify the Lord because our labor is not in vain. God accepts it. He accepts your labor. He accepts your work, your service, your toil. 2 Timothy 2, 15. Study to show thyself approved unto God. Approved unto God. A workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. You mean, when I read the Bible, does that honor God? Yes. When I study the Bible, memorize scripture, help my kids with Pass Club, Does that help? Yes. Is that honoring to the Lord? Yes, it is. So study to show thyself approved. The Iwana program, Iwana approved workmen are not ashamed is taken straight from that verse. We need not walk aimlessly through life. He's given us a scripture for that. So study the Bible. That's an approval that God gives on your life. And God gives you then purpose and meaning for everyday life. One person wrote about Easter. On Easter Day, my heart is lifted high with gladsome praises to the Lord of life. The hallelujahs ring, the heavens are rife with song and story. He who could define. The powers of death has risen again is nigh, to say, fear not, men, put away your strife. I am the resurrection and the life. All earth seems joyous, and we need not die. Vision fades, the Easter joy is past. Again, the dull drab past our lot is cast. The heavens no longer sing, the war clouds lower. Oh, Lord, where art thou in thy risen power? The calm voice speaks and answers all I ask. I am beside you in the daily task. So here we are, this Easter day. As the day concludes, we start this week. We celebrated Jesus today. You go back to toiling, you go back to serving, you go back to daily routine. Things like this. Well, the Lord Jesus is right here with us. And our response at work and what we do in the home and how we go to school and all the things that we go and do and service in the future here in the church. You know, we can glorify God that I am beside you in the daily task. We have victory in Jesus. We have a vision for the future and we have a vocation in the present. Folks, let's focus on being anchored, being abounding and being approved of the Lord Jesus Christ. He appreciates our service. He approves that. And so let's share the word of God with other people let's take a moment and thank Jesus for this resurrection day and for the resurrection
