The last Sunday afternoon, I read from Proverbs 3.21, and that verse, them depart from thine eyes. It was talking about wisdom and understanding and knowledge. And I tried to preach to young people last Sunday afternoon in particular, about the things that God shows you when God gives you a lesson to learn, or God just shows you something from his word. that you'll lose that if you don't do something about it. And I looked at those two words, let not, okay. And we're going to continue going through the scripture this morning. I don't know how often I'll be doing this. There are several of these, especially in the book of Proverbs that the Lord's laid on my heart. And we're going to look at one this morning in Proverbs chapter seven. But let me give you a little information here. When the Lord in his word says, let not, okay. That simply means it's something that will happen if you don't stop it from happening. You're headed that way. You're on a course that's got a downhill trajectory and the only way to keep that thing from happening is to let not. Don't let it happen. Don't let it happen. I used the illustration last Sunday afternoon of laying down and you say, don't let this happen. This morning, I was up really early after going to bed much later than I normally go to bed and At well some of you were getting up at 710. I told Trisha. I said I'm laying down I said don't let me sleep past 8 o'clock if I go to sleep I don't know if I would or not I Ended up. I think I did nap just a little bit, but I got up on my own at 750 But don't let me don't let me do this. Don't let I don't want to wake up at 830. Okay? Don't let me go past 8 if I go to sleep And so I knew what I was capable of, okay? Didn't get much sleep last night, and I knew I was capable of just being gone for a couple of hours probably. And so I told her, don't let this happen. Well, the Bible tells you don't let some things happen. and it's up to you to do what you got to do to keep it from happening. And last week we looked at that subject of not letting yourself forget things that God shows you and God gives you. Well, this morning's a little bit different and we'll look at Proverbs chapter seven. We'll start in verse 24. We'll be in this chapter looking at several verses, but right now we're just gonna start with verse 24 and read. Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children. Now we get the idea sometimes that the Bible is written, or rather Proverbs is written exclusively to young men. Well that's just not the case. One of the great passages in the Bible that is quoted most about women, for women, and to women is Proverbs chapter 31. which talks about the virtuous women. And here we find that it's not just young men, but he says, hearken to me now therefore O ye children. And so this tells us that this passage that we're looking at is especially aimed at all young people, whether they be male or whether they be female. He said, hearken to me now therefore O ye children and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not, here we go. Let not thine heart decline to her ways. Now we'll find out who she is here in a little bit. But let not thine heart decline to her ways. Go not astray in her paths, for she hath cast down many wounded, yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell. This is serious business. Whoever she is, she's bad news. And we have a warning to let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths to both young men and young women. You children, her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. And so we got this thing of let not. We see that it's aimed in this particular passage to young people, both male and female, and there's no way of getting around it. This is a warning. This is red letters. This is police tape. This is yellow flags, don't let this happen. Do not let this happen, this is serious business. I mean, we got somebody that's cast down many wounded, many strong men have been slain by her, her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. This is highlighted here in my mind. As I read the scripture, this is big, big time stuff. This is serious stuff. Don't let this happen. Danger ahead. Beware. Trouble's on the way. It probably won't be long. Here, the way we're headed in cold weather, it seems like to me, don't hold me to it, I'm not a prognosticator, I'm certainly not a weatherman, but it probably won't be long until we'll be hearing things like winter storm watch. Winter storm watch. In the spring we might, and we might hear it this winter as well, tornado watch. Now when you hear tornado watch, that doesn't mean that you go to your basement and stay. Okay, because it's just a watch. That's where you just kind of, you turn up your little antennas just a little bit and you kind of pay a little more close attention to what's going on and maybe you keep a little closer check of the weather because as they say, that conditions are favorable. this might very well happen. It doesn't mean that everybody in the watch area is gonna see a tornado, okay? But then there are those times that we will hear winter storm warning. or we will hear tornado warning, and that means it's already happening. That means there has been a tornado spotted, whether it be on radar, whether it be on the ground, that means that there's already snow falling, there's moisture in the air, there's cold air in the air, there's cold temperatures there, and it's gonna happen. This is a warning. This is not a watch. This is not this may happen. This is a warning, especially to young people. This thing's coming and you're headed for it. It's imminent. You better do something about it. Don't let this happen. Don't let this happen. Now, it's interesting here. that He says, the Scripture says, I may read you this over and over. I may read it a dozen times before I get through today. Now this is not the devil. This is not the devil. This is not a warning. We've got warnings about the devil. Be sober, be vigilant for your adversary the devil has a roaring lion. Walketh about seeking whom he may devour. We have warnings about the devil and thank God we do. And he's certainly somebody we gotta watch out for. But this is not about the devil. This is not about a wicked and a dangerous man. This is not about false prophets. But this is a female. It's her four times in the text there in those two verses. It's she in verse number 26. And so you won't be as cautious. Understand, understand, you're not going to be as cautious because it's she. She's got a softer voice. She's got a softer method. You're not going to let your guard down. You're not going to sense the danger. She's not calloused and rough. She's not carrying guns and knives. She's not got fingers dripping with blood. She's not yelling and screaming. It's just a woman. Let not, let not thine heart decline to her ways. We find back in verse five, who he's talking about, that they may keep thee from the strange woman. From the stranger which flattereth with her words. And there's a lengthy passage here, which is one of several in the book of Proverbs, aimed at this person, this strange woman. In this warning, in verse number 25, let not thine heart decline to her ways. The heart is specifically mentioned, not the eyes, not the ears, not the mind, but the heart. Let not thine heart, and if you'll let not thine heart decline to her ways, it'll take care of the eyes, it'll take care of the ears, it'll take care of the mind. For you young people this morning, And I'm not talking to all the young people, but especially those of you that are under the age of 12, 10, all the way down to the threes and the four-year-olds. Generally, your heart as yet is not defiled. Generally, and that's not to say that a young person, a three or four year old can't be capable of bad thoughts or deeds, but generally for young people, their heart is generally not yet declined. And so the scripture says here, let not thine heart decline to her ways. You know, to decline, and this is not declining an invitation or declining to go somewhere, but this means to lower oneself downward. Okay, this is a step down. Let not thine heart decline. If I decline from the stage, I'm stepping down here on the floor where you folks are at. And so the scripture says, let not thine heart decline. Don't go down where she's at. Let not thine heart decline. Let not, don't let this happen. It's gonna happen if you don't do something about it. Let not thine heart decline to her ways. You see, your heart is already bent that way, young people. Your heart is desperately wicked. I've told you before, the only time in the Bible the word desperately is used. Jeremiah chapter 17, verse nine. No, no, no, don't let this happen. Let not thine heart decline to her ways. Go not astray in her paths. Now, if you're prone to be headed that way, And if you don't do something to stop it, then you're gonna be in trouble. And if verses 26 and 27, let me read those again, are accurate, and they are because they're the word of God, she hath cast down many wounded. Many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. If that's right, and you're already inclined to go that way, then you're not going to recognize her for what she really is. You know, we have a security team, most of you know that. If somebody comes in here and whips out guns, we don't expect that to happen. That's why we make provisions, OK? But you're not going to say, oh, man, it's a neat show we're out here today. We never brought them in for illustration. Wow. He must wanna be talking about attacking the devil. No, no. No, that's not gonna happen, okay? Somebody come in here and start pulling out guns and flash them around and start shooting them or something, okay? Number one, security team has failed. Number two, it's real. What I'm trying to tell you is these verses are real. These verses are real. She hath cast down many wounded. Many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell. This is real, this is true, and you are prone, you are prone, young people, to follow after her. Let me tell you what she looks like. First of all, she's attractive. She's attractive. Now we can stand in church and I'm gonna make this all as plain, plain speech is easy understood, okay? I'm gonna try to do what Paul the apostle did and use great plainness of speech today. I hope you're not offended. We can pretend that what verse 10 says is not talking about something that's attractive, but it is. Behold, there met him a woman. This is the strange woman that we started talking about to begin with. The one you're supposed to let not thine heart decline to her paths. Verse 10 says, Behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot. Why is she wearing what she's wearing? Because it's attractive. It's attractive. She's trying to get attention. And so she dresses in a manner to get attention. And she's attractive. Verse 13, the first part, she caught him. She's confident. She is loaded with confidence. She can get in front of a, she can hold a microphone. She's not camera shy. She can run around naked and it don't bother her. She's confident. She's attractive. Second part of verse 13, she caught him and kissed him. She seems to be very loving. I mean, don't you think that when your wife kisses you that she loves you? Okay, she's loving. Verse 14, I have my peace offerings. I have peace offerings with me. This day if I paid my vows, she's religious. Some would think good and honest. Verse 15, therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee. She's friendly. She's friendly. She appears to be genuine. Verses 16 and 17, I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with card works, with fine linen of Egypt. I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes and cinnamon. Not only is she attractive and confident and loving and religious and good and honest, being friendly and genuine, she's affluent and she's wealthy. She's every man's dream. Now, I said that tongue in cheek. Listen, folks, the Bible's not gonna tell you to, the Bible's not gonna warn you about things you're already warned about. You know, if there's a skull and bones on it, on the jar, are you gonna sit in the refrigerator? No. You already know that. This is something that you just need to know a little bit more information about. Let not that heart decline to her ways. She's attractive. She's confident. She's loving. She's religious. She's friendly. She's genuine. She's affluent. She's wealthy. Verses 18 through 20. Come let us take our fill of love into the morning. Let us solace ourselves with love. For the good man is not at home. He has gone a long journey. He hath taken a bag of money with him. We'll come home at the day upon him. She's daring, risque, just a little naughty in a good way. That's what we're dealing with. That's what we're dealing with. I could call names of some of the idols that our young girls in America are so crazy about, that have ruined the lives of so many. Verse 12 says, now, you know what now means, don't you? Now is she without. Now in the streets and lieth and waiteth every corner. How can one woman be in all these places? She's there! on every billboard, on the magazine covers, everywhere you look, in the headlines. Now, you know, like a lot of men, I like to keep up with the news. You know what they do? They put her in the news. And her picture's there in the headlines. What's she doing? Who's she with? I want the news. And there she is. She's everywhere. Now is she with that. She's on every corner. She's on all the shows. She sings. She dances. And everybody loves her. Anybody offended yet? This is who you got to watch out for. She's rich. She's famous. She's got all of the fan clubs. She's dreamed about. She's adored. Dads take their young daughters to see her. She's so desired. She said, brother, you're talking about, oh, I'm talking about plenty of them through the years. Let not, let not, let not thine heart decline. Who's he talking to? Oh, you children. This is not just for the boys. This is for the girls. Let not thine heart decline to her ways. Go not astray in her paths, for she hath cast down many wounded. Yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death. You see, he said let not thine heart decline to her ways. Go not astray in her paths. You see, hers is a movement. It's a broad way with many people. And nobody's listening to the warning. Got statistics this morning. Now statistics are not the word of God, but just in case you don't get it from what I'm preaching, let me give you some statistics. I'm gonna start by giving you The Dove Company Survey, okay? Dove, they make soap. That's all I can remember is soap. But I'm sure they make a lot of beauty products. They surveyed over 33,000 women. And that's a pretty good chunk, 33,000. Only 2% of women feel they are beautiful. Isn't that something? Only 2%. I don't know if our percentage of women are any different than this or not, but of the 33,000 they asked, only 2% felt like they were beautiful. Now, don't misunderstand me. I know we'll get to the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit and shamefacedness and sobriety maybe, but I'm trying to make a point to you. One in three women feel pressure to change their appearance because of online images. Two in five young girls feel pressured to alter their appearance based on images of influencers they see on social media. Two in five young girls. Did you see Sister Trisha's class up here, those beautiful young ladies up here? The statistic tells us because of this woman I'm preaching about, let not thy heart decline to her ways. Because of that, two out of five young girls don't like the way they look and they want to change something about the way they look. Well, there's something bad wrong there. when two out of five beautiful, smiling, happy girls that have yet even to reach an age where they ought to even be thinking about such things are already inclined to do something to change their appearance because of some strange woman? What's something bad about this woman? Let not thine heart decline to her ways. Her house is the way to hell going down to the chambers of death. I haven't got to the most amazing statistic yet. I'm not sure exactly what this means. Nine in ten women and girls have been exposed to harmful beauty content on social media. I don't know exactly what that means. I'm looking for the one, if I can find it right quick. I thought I had it highlighted. Give me just a second. Wow, I may have skipped it. This is worth finding if I can find it. Bear with me. I hate to read all these out when I'm not prepared to read them all yet, but I'm going to because I got to find this. Only 2% of women feel they are beautiful. One in three women feel pressure to change their appearance. Two in five young girls feel pressure to alter their appearance. Two in five, oh, here it is, here it is right here, right under my nose. Two in five women out of 33,000 would give, we're talking about women, would give up a year of their life to achieve their beauty ideals. Now, you women may think, well, I'm not shocked, but for me, that blows me away, that two out of five women would give up a year of their life. Man, I tell you, I ain't giving up a year of my life for nothing like that. Beauty ideals. That's because I don't think like the women do. I ain't given a year of my life, I ain't got much left. But two in five women would give up a year of their life to achieve their beauty ideals. Isn't that something? How did we get there? We let our hearts decline. We let our hearts decline after her ways and her paths. And we've got this thing in America, and it's not just America, but it's most of the world, that she has promoted, and she is the way to happiness, and she is the way to success, and she is the way to having everything wonderful and good. When in reality, her way is the way to hell. And destruction and everything bad. I got more statistics, I'll read them later. Let not, let not her ways, her paths. So let me say some things to the girls this morning. Let not, let not. Girls, don't let this happen. Don't let this happen. I'm going to say some things that some of you, you're just not going to believe what I'm about to say. But I'm just going to be completely honest because the girls need to hear it. For you young girls here today, you that are, all you females, but especially you young girls, I'm afraid that in spiritual circles and in churches, we've lied to our girls and we've told them that beauty's not important. And we've made them, and they know we're lying. Yeah, beauty is important. Beauty is important. It's important to you, girls. It's important to you. If you give up a year of your life to meet your beauty ideals, it's pretty important. But the truth is, it's important to guys. Beauty is important to guys. I've never met a young man that was looking for an ugly girl. I'll know her when I find her. Never met him. Never met him. Did you know beauty is important to God? But David, I feel like you're making a mistake. No, I'm just trying to be honest with the girls. Beauty is important. Beauty is important. There is pleasure in sin. You know, there's a verse in the last of the book of Job. Do you believe the Bible's God's word? Do you believe every word of God is pure? Bible says it is. The Bible says in Job chapter 42, verse 15, the Lord wanted us to know this. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job. Don't tell me beauty's not important. It's important to God. Esther didn't become queen for being ugly. Who are you kidding? Our young girls know better. See, some of you have already fallen out with me. You know what the first time the word beautiful's used in the Bible? You know what it is? It's a woman. Rachel. The first time you find the word beautiful in the Bible, it's talking about Rachel. She was beautiful, and that's why God tells us beauty is important. Stick with me. The psalmist said, Psalm chapter 144, verse number 12, that our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth, that our daughters may be as cornerstones. This is a prayer, that our daughters may be as cornerstones polished after the similitude of a palace. I wanted a beautiful wife. The Lord gave me one. I didn't want my daughters to be ugly. Is that what you want out of your daughters? No, I wanted my daughters to be beautiful. And the Lord gave me two beautiful daughters. Beauty is important. The first time you see the word very fair in the Bible, it's not a waterfalls, it's not a butterfly, it's not a rainbow, it's Sarah. So beauty is important, but not like this. Not like this. This is strange. Remember who she is. She's the strange woman. She's a strange woman. Let me give you a definition of strange, if I can find it. Previously unknown, unseen or unheard of, unfamiliar, not according to the ordinary way, a different kind. Yes, beauty is important, but not like this. Not like this. This is strange. This is different. For you young females here today, this is not the beauty that I'm trying to preach against. It's not the beauty that your mother has. Do you think your mother's ugly? Do you understand what I'm trying to tell you? This, that the world is promoting, and it's everywhere you look, on every corner, on every billboard, on every magazine, it's not the same beauty that you see here at the church. Got some beautiful women in this church. I'm gonna say every man in this church is highly overachieved, some way more than others. Okay, boy, it's really getting quiet in here now. I've lost the men now, I lost the women a long time ago. Brother Neal told us last week, it took God. It took God. Do your friends look like the strange woman? Do your friends dress like she does? Do they act like she does? No. Or are your friends ugly? Is there something wrong with them? What I'm trying to tell you is this. for you young people, let not thine heart decline to her ways. You're following after someone who is not like anybody else you know. If your heart declines after the Taylor Swifts, and the Madonnas from back in the day, and the whoever's out, now I'm throwing it out there so you got somebody to relate to. If your heart is declined to follow after her, she's not like anybody you know. There are beautiful women in your life, but you're not interested in being like them. That's a different kind of beauty. Let not thine heart decline after her ways. Her house is the way to hell. She cut down many strong men slain by her. Nobody else. And so I see that in the church world, we've almost gone full circle and we made it look like that ugliness is a virtue. But it's not. Pretty is okay. I like pretty a whole lot better than ugly. And there's nothing wrong with beauty, but the beauty I'm talking about is not this beauty. So, I know some of you young ladies like to take notes. Boy, I'm telling you, I'm going to give you something right now, all right? I'm going to give you the three H's of beauty. The Lord gave them to me. The three H's of beauty. That's the letter H, okay? The three H's of beauty. Maybe some of you women need to write this down. The first one is, this is really simple. The three H's of beauty. The three things that start with the letter H that will make you beautiful. This won't work on you men. This won't work on you. You are hopeless. That's the one H for men, hopeless. But the three H's for you girls, the first one, holy, holy, holy. You want to be beautiful? It starts right here. This is where it starts. It starts with being holy. I know the address in 1 Peter chapter 3, in verse number 1, it says, ye wives, but we could think of future wives, likewise ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands. He goes on to say, while they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear, whose adorning, let it not be that outward adorning of the plaiting of the hair and of wearing of gold or of putting on apparel, but let it be the hidden man of the heart and that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. The first H of beauty is holy, holy, holy. If you want to be beautiful, then strive to be holy. It'll work its way out. It'll work its way out. The first H of beauty is holy in here in your heart. Paul told Timothy, 1 Timothy 2 verse 9, he said, "...in like manner also that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety, not with boited hair, gold or pearls, or costly rape, but which becometh women professing godless with good works." Holy! That's the first age of beauty. You see, Proverbs 11.2 says, as a jewel of gold in a swine's snout, so is a fair woman that's without discretion. Proverbs 31, 30, for favor is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Beauty starts with holy. That's the key to beauty. It'll last. It won't wrinkle. It won't gray. It won't sag. It'll last. Holy. Holy. Holy, that is beautiful. Boy, it amazes me. Used to be in the summertime when preachers had to preach on women dressing right, but now it's the wintertime. Running around with these, I said y'all was gonna be playing space where you could understand glorified pantyhoses, that's what I'm gonna call them. Your grandmother wouldn't be caught dead And that's not an exaggeration. That's not beautiful. You know, and the thing about it is, there's the shock content to looking like that. You know, I see somebody, well, I used to see somebody with purple hair, and I just, whoa. And I can't turn my head. Not because I'm lusting, but I'm just blown away. Well, it's the same way when these women go out with these glorified pantyhose on. And that's all they've got. Y'all understand this, don't you? Beautiful has three H's. Number one is holy. Number two is healthy. 3 John 2, John said, above all things, that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospereth. I'm just telling you that beautiful starts with holy and then healthy. If you need to lose weight, diet. If you need to get exercise, get exercise. Keep your weight down, eat right, take care of your skin, take care of your hair. And it's part of being holy when you do it for the right reason. Remember 1 Corinthians 6, 19, your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. So if you want to If you want to take care of your body for the right reason, which is to be holy, it starts with holy and then healthy. Don't smoke cigarettes. Don't vape. Don't drink alcohol. Don't use drugs. Live for God because the way of transgressors is hard. Stress will not be pretty on you. So just live for God. Be healthy, be healthy. And then lastly, and I gotta move on to the guys, the three H's. Number one, holy. Number two, healthy. Number three, happy. Happy women are attractive. Happy women are attractive. Don't fake it. Learn to be really happy. Be content. You know, Jesus said in John chapter 13, if you know these things, happy are you if you do them. Be obedient. Just do what you're supposed to do. And I'm telling you young people, This world may not accept you. It may not accept true beauty, but Jesus Christ will. God's people will. The fact is, this world's never going to accept you unless you become like them anyways. Happy, happy. Healthy and holy. But He didn't just aim this at girls. He said, oh, you children. attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths, for she hath cast down many wounded, yea, many strong men have been slain by her. So guys, you're not strong enough. You're not strong enough. Strongest man that ever lived, as far as we know, was Samson. His downfall was This one I'm preaching about this morning. Somebody should have told Samson, let not thine heart decline to her ways. Go not astray in her paths. Wisest man that ever lived, Solomon. One that wrote this. Yeah. Guys, you're not strong enough. You're not smart enough. Let not thine heart decline to her ways. Go not astray in her paths. I'm telling the young ladies this morning, don't try to look like her. Don't try to look like her. It's the way to hell. It's the way to destruction. It's the way of the world, and it's a disaster. You know, you can't even read the news. I've already told you that. Listen, outside the grace of God, I'm no better than Taylor Swift or anybody else, okay? I'm no better than she is, outside the grace of God. I get tired of reading about Taylor Swift's boyfriend. I mean, I don't read the story, but it's the headline. I mean, in the news, that's not news. Let me tell you young ladies something. You think Taylor Swift's gonna get married? Why would she marry? Why would she marry the guy, oh, whatever he's making, it ain't close to what she's making. She's gonna lose money to get married. You think she's gonna get married? You think she's gonna have what you could have if you'll just follow God? You're kidding yourself. Let not thine heart decline to her. You think she wants a man in her life? Telling her, no, you ain't going out like that in front of that crowd. I'm the only one that needs to be seeing what you're showing everybody. She don't want a husband. All she wants is a boyfriend. In a few years, her voice starts cracking and she starts getting ugly or something. And she'll think, I should have got me a man when I had a chance. No. So girls, there's your three H's. Guys, let not thine heart. Let me tell you boys something. This woman I'm preaching about, this strange woman, she has done such damage to our country. Such damage to our young people. 93% of boys are exposed to internet pornography before the age of 18 93% 70% of boys have spent at least 30 consecutive minutes looking at online porn at least on one occasion 70% of boys under 18 Some of these statistics I can't even read They're so vulgar. They're statistics, and it might be good to know, but I can't tell you exactly what this is. This one that I'm skipping, I can't even figure out a way to say it. It'd probably be good to say it, but I can't figure out a way to say it in a place like this. 67% of children admit to clearing the internet history to hide their online activity. 67% of children. I'm telling you, she's everywhere! She's everywhere! 79% of accidental exposures to internet porn. Are you listening? 79% of accidental exposures happen in the home. 56% of divorce cases involve one party having an obsessive interest in online porn. That's usually the guys. 12% of websites on the internet are pornographic. There's approximately 25 million websites that are pornographic in content. 40 million Americans regularly visit pornographic websites. Two and a half billion emails a day are pornographic. 25%, that's one in four, search engine requests each day are pornography related. 20 million, 70 million rather a day. Only 3% of pornographic websites require age verification. The most popular day of the week for viewing pornography? Sunday. Yeah. I wonder why that would be. Well, you know, this woman I'm preaching about, this strange woman, she's at all the football games. And it don't matter if it's below zero, she ain't got much on. The average age A child first sees internet pornography is 11 years old. 70% of young men age 18 to 24 visit pornographic websites on at least a month, at least a monthly basis. Now, real quickly for you young men, remember, let not, let not, let not, let not. You see, everybody's letting it happen. Everybody's letting it happen. I'm telling you, let not. Don't let this happen to you. Young ladies, don't let this happen to you. Young men, don't let this happen to you. Don't kid yourself. It will happen to you if you don't do something to stop it. You guys got your Bibles? Look at Proverbs chapter five. We're just gonna look at a few verses and I'll be through. I'm gonna tell you what she'll do to you guys. Here's what she will do to you. I'm giving you a warning what she'll do to you. Proverbs chapter five, verse number three. It's all right here in three chapters. We're going to skip around in Proverbs 5, 6, actually two chapters. We've already got seven covered. Proverbs 5, Proverbs 6. Right now we're in Proverbs 5, verse 3. For the lips of a strange woman, there she is again, drop as in honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil, but her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death, her steps take hold on hell. Verse 7, Hear me now therefore, ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth. Remove thy way far from her. and come not nigh the door of her house, lest, listen to this, this is you, young men, this is you, husbands, this is you, dads and granddads, lest thou give thine honor unto others, and thy years unto the cruel. You see, we think it's strange that a woman would give a year of her life to achieve her beauty ideals. Well, I'm gonna tell you, men are given years of their life to be with this woman. Lest thou give thy honor unto the others, and thy years unto the cruel. Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth, and thy labors be in the house of a stranger, and thou mourn at the last. Listen guys, and thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed. What happened? Her, her. Chapter six, verse 25. Chapter six, verse 25. Lest not after her beauty in thine heart, neither let her take thee with her eyelids, For by means of a whorish woman, that's what she is. For by means of a whorish woman, a man is brought to a piece of bread. A piece of bread. We ate Cracker Barrel yesterday evening, Tricia and Karen and myself. I got one of my favorite things at Cracker Barrel. My wife makes good biscuits, and my mama makes good biscuits. She's got a special family recipe. But Cracker Barrel's got them both to eat. That's just the truth. Cracker Barrel has the best biscuits. But you know what? I was tempted. I see people getting up and leaving with biscuits on their table. I want to get up and go get them. Put these in the microwave for me. But you know why they leave it? It's just a piece of bread. Just a piece of bread. Just a piece of bread. Even the best piece of bread just gets left. That's what she'll do to you. That's what she'll do to you. For by means of this woman is a man brought to a piece of bread. A strong man, a mighty man, a wealthy man, a wise man brought down to a piece of bread. Let not thine heart decline to her ways. One more place, chapter 6, verse 32. Chapter 6, verse 32. Whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding, he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. A wound and dishonor shall he get, and his reproach shall not be wiped away. Now, Let me just be as plain as I can. For you married women, if you think your husband is not tempted, you're kidding yourself. For you moms and dads, if you think your children aren't tempted, you're kidding yourself. We just read the statistics, or I just read the statistics. Let me mention these again. 79% of accidental exposure to internet porn among kids takes place at your home. You're kidding yourself. The most popular day of the week for viewing pornography is Sunday, the Lord's Day. I mean, who are we kidding? Karen, come to the piano if you would. Proverbs 7, 25. Let not thine heart decline to her ways. Go not astray in her paths, for she hath cast down many wounded. Yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
