Luke chapter number three. Luke chapter number three. We'll be turning to several passages tonight. I'll try to take the opportunity around this time of the year to cover some of the, tonight will be more of a Bible study. We'll start in Luke chapter three, but by way of introduction, where I want to go tonight is the emphasis of Jesus Christ and why he came, not just the fact that he came to die on the cross to save sinners and thank God that he did. But I want to talk to you tonight about the Jewishness of Christmas. the Jewishness of Christmas. It's been several years ago that I preached this message and went through some of these things. They're very common. I'm sure a lot of you know these things, but especially in the modern times in which we live, there are actually Christians that are standing against the Jews instead of for the Jews. In case you're not understanding of these matters, the Bible you hold in your hand is a Jewish book. Every author in the Bible was a Jew, excepting maybe Elihu, the author of the book of Job. But the oracles of God were given to the Jew. Jesus Christ, our Savior, is a Jew. And when you begin to unpack what biblical Christianity is and what it was and how it got its beginning, the whole, the entire early church was Jewish. And so God made a covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and they were the people of God by way of sacrifice. And they were the people of God by way of natural birth. We're the people of God by Jesus's sacrifice and the people of God by supernatural birth. And so the two are not the same. And so you don't want to mistake that and understand that God has given a literal promise to a literal people about a piece of ground. And that piece of ground belongs to them. You know, back before the Jewish state was actually instituted and you had the whole Palestinian refugee situation, you know, back in 1947 and that time, I'm sure some of y'all remember that. But back in that day, they had an opera there that was in Palestine and it was the Palestinian Opera and they were all Jews. The Palestinian Gazette or whatever it was called, it had the name Palestinian, it was a Jewish newspaper. That was their name. And then you of course have the Arab refugees based on their religion that said, no, we're going to do these certain things to try to put pressure on the United Nation to give us a piece of ground. And of course they did. And most of you know all the story behind that, how that you have these wars take place. And literally there are nations and leaders today that believe in total genocide for the nation of Israel. And there's a strong anti-Semitic movement even in the United States, especially in the universities. And they do surveys of young people and they find out that young people are against the Jews. You say, why is all this important? Well, it's exciting to me because you think, at least in my mind, I think how in the world could even the Holocaust happen? Now you do surveys for young people and a lot of them don't even believe it did happen. So where they were educated in public colleges. like Florida State and places like that. And they teach these crazy things. And so you want to make sure you understand the biblical precedent for prophecy is all centered around the Jewish people. And God's got his plan for his people. It doesn't mean those folks are saved over there. Unsaved Jews, if they die without Jesus, they go to hell. That's why we have missionaries that we support over in that land. But what it means is God has made a promise to those people and he's going to give them that land and Jesus Christ is going to return and he will destroy the Antichrist when he comes and he will set up his kingdom and rule over the Jewish people. And so when we study the Christmas story, Luke chapter three, we find out that there is this strong Jewish flavor to everything because Jesus Christ of course is born in Bethlehem in the land of Judea in Israel. And of course, Jesus Christ is born the King of the Jews. There was this Jewish father one time and he was concerned about his son. after he got a little bit older and his bar mitzvah and everything was already over with and he was a little bit older and he was kind of straying from the Jewish faith. So he said, you know what? I'll tell you what, I'll send him to Israel. And he was an American Jew. So he said, I'll send him to the land of our fathers and maybe he'll come back with a deeper appreciation. Well, he sent him over there and he came back and he said, dad, I just want you to know I'm now a Christian. He said, what? And it so disturbed him. He went to one of his real close Jewish friends and he says, look, let me tell you what happened to my son. You know, I sent my son. I wanted him to have an enriched experience in the Jewish faith. And I sent him to Israel, our homeland. And he came back a Christian. He says, no kidding. I did the same thing to my son. And he came back a Christian. They said, well, let's go talk to the rabbi about it. So they went and talked to the rabbi and the rabbi said, ooh, this is very serious. We don't want to lose any more young Jewish men, so we better pray about this. So they all gathered around, they began to pray and pray to God. And then lo and behold, if the heavens didn't open and a voice came out of heaven and God's voice says, men, I heard your prayers and heard your requests and heard what had happened. And I too sent my son to Jerusalem. You know, one day the Jews are going to know that Jesus is the Savior. And that great prophecy that we read about, he'll be revealed to them a second time is typified with Joseph. Joseph didn't make himself known and they didn't know that it was him until the second time. If you know your story of how they come in front of Joseph and they think he's just an Egyptian, well, it's the second time that he reveals himself. The first time Jesus came, the Jews rejected him, but when he comes the second time, They're going to receive him. That's the whole point of the tribulation. It's called the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. And in desperation, they're going to turn to their Messiah. And of course they will be delivered. Now, Luke chapter number three, I want to first talk about the pedigree of Christmas, the pedigree, Luke chapter number three and Matthew chapter number one. Here's what we'll see in Luke chapter number three. If you come down to verse 23, And Jesus himself began to be about 30 years of age, being as was supposed, the son of Joseph, who was a son of Heli, which was a son of Matthew, which was a son of Levi, which was a son of Melchi, which was a son of Jaina, which was a son of Joseph, which was the son of Matthias, which was a son of Amos, Nahum, Nagi, Maath, Matthias, Simei, Judah, come all the way down through there. And you'll notice when you come down to around verse number 31, which was the son of Methathah, which was the son of Nathan, you see that? Which was the son of David, which was the son of Jesse, which was the son of Obed, which was the son of Boaz, or we'd say Boaz, and all the way down through there. So you see him as the son of David going all the way back. And then you see in verse number 38, the son of Adam, who was the son of God. But notice the pedigree of Jesus Christ, how he had a Jewish mother. This is the lineage of Mary in Luke chapter number Now come over to Matthew 1, you'll see the lineage of Joseph, which it really doesn't matter because Jesus Christ is virgin born. However, Joseph is his stepfather and Jesus Christ under the lineage of Joseph and Mary, he has to be registered during the taxation of the season. He has to be registered as a Jew. Notice verse number one of Matthew 1. The book of the generations of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. You see that? Abraham is actually called the king in verse number six. He's the only one called the king in that passage. It's interesting, David's mentioned in Matthew one, he's mentioned in Revelation 22, the beginning and the end of the Old Testament. Jesus has the right of the throne of David and he has a Jewish pedigree. He was a Jew. Anybody who doubts this, come over to John chapter number four, look at this. I've had black Muslims try to argue with me and tell me Jesus was black. And I just tell them they're crazy. And I try to show them this verse, and then they get mad and want to try to start a racial war. I say, well, let me tell you this. Jesus wasn't white either. Jesus was a Jew. And for those of you who don't know, Jews aren't white. If you bind into some of this wokeness that's going around and the crazy universities. The Palestinians are not being persecuted. John chapter number four. Look at this, this is Jesus and the woman of the well, look in verse nine. Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, how is it that thou being a Jew askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? So it's obvious to anyone who reads the New Testament, Jesus Christ. is Jewish. Mary and Joseph are Jewish, the Messiah is Jewish, the throne is Jewish, and the Jewish king will sit on the Jewish throne. Now let's look at some prophecies of Christmas, not just the pedigree, but prophecies. Go to Galatians chapter number 4. While you're turning to Galatians, let's pick up another verse. Get chapter 3 as well. Galatians 3 and 4. Galatians 3 and Galatians 4. Galatians chapter number 3. And I made this comment earlier in the introduction about the fact that we're the people of God by new birth, the Old Testament Jews are people of God by natural birth. So you want to understand today, there's only two kinds of people, really. You're either saved or you're not saved. Now, when we think of a classification of people, the Bible does present three groups. Gentiles, that's a non-Jew, Jews, and then there's one more group, 1 Corinthians 10, 32, it's the church. So if you're saved, you're not considered Jew nor Gentile. As a matter of fact, this is good for our transgender friends. You're not considered male or female. That's actually a proof text. And it was actually in the academic scholastic cemeteries 20 years ago for the transgender homophobic garbage. Galatians chapter number three, verse number, we'll start in 26. For you're all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek. There is neither bond nor free. Here it is. There's neither male nor female for you're all one in Christ Jesus. So what's the answer to that conundrum? I'll tell you the answer to that conundrum is found in Romans chapter 11. Romans 9 through 11, actually, Paul talks about spiritual Jews, those of us that are saved. He says, he that is a Jew is one that's enrolling. If you're the people of God, that means you've been saved by faith, whether you're a Jew or Gentile, male or female. But in Romans 9, 10, and 11, you know what he does? He still makes the distinction about the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Just because you were saved does not remove your gender distinctions. And just because you're saved as far as either a Gentile or a Jew, you're still, by lineage, either a Gentile or a Jew. But in Christ, there's neither Jew nor Gentile. So a Jew in Israel today, they may be, quote unquote, the people of God based on the Old Testament promises to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, but they're not going to heaven just because they're a descendant of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I hope you understand that. Matthew chapter eight, I believe it is, he mentions the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness. And so just because somebody is a Jew, you say, what about Romans 11, 26? So all Israel shall be saved. That's true. And I said, the second advent, that's the deliverance that the Jews will experience and all Israel will be saved. They'll be dwindled down to just a few that are looking for their Messiah. The rest of them either have the mark of the beast or there'll be killed and beheaded for their faith and their following of Christ. Galatians chapter number four. So let's look at some prophecies. Galatians chapter number four, notice verse number four. This relates to a Genesis 3.15 prophecy. In Genesis 3.15, he gives the first prophecy in the Old Testament. He says, I will put enmity between thee and the woman, the devil and the woman, between thy seed and her seed. So he's talking to the devil. The devil's got a seed, but also the woman has a seed. No woman has ever had a seed. The only woman that ever had a seed without a man being involved was Mary. So that's the first prophecy, Messianic prophecy. And here we see in Galatians chapter number four, look in verse number four. But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his son made of a woman made under the law to redeem them that were under the law that we might receive the adoption of sons. So Jesus Christ, you see the prophecy of Christmas. You see the Jewishness of it in the sense that he's made under the law. They call the Old Testament law, the Torah. Notice the prophecy, not just of this, but come over to Numbers chapter 24, and you know the New Testament verse, so we won't turn to it, but look in Numbers chapter 24. Here's the prophecy of the star. Numbers 24. Numbers 24. And what's taking place here in Numbers chapter 24 is the king of Moab, Balak, is attempting to get Balaam, a prophet, to put a curse on Israel, to hex them out. And of course, the Lord does not allow that to happen. He actually gives some prophecies. And he says that once God's spoken, he's not gonna take it back. He's not gonna lie. And then notice he mentions this in Numbers chapter number 24 in regard to the Messiah. Come down to verse number 15. And he took up his parable and said, Balaam, the son of Beor, hath said, the man whose eyes were open hath said, he hath said, which heard the words of God and knew the knowledge of the Most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty falling into a trance, but having his eyes open. I shall see him, but not now. I shall behold him, but not nigh. There shall come a star out of Jacob. And a scepter shall rise out of Israel and shall smite the corners of Moab and destroy the children of Sheth. Edom shall be a possession, so on and so forth. Notice the stars mentioned in verse number 17. In Matthew chapter two, the wise men come and they say that his star, we saw his star in the east. Everybody is familiar with that. Come to Isaiah chapter seven, look at this prophecy. And this is a messianic prophecy, Isaiah chapter seven. Isaiah chapter number seven. Look down in verse number 14. I'm sure you're familiar with it. Isaiah 7, 14. Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son and shall call his name Emmanuel. And of course we know that from the New Testament and it was fulfilled Matthew 1, 22 and 23. And we know when Jesus Christ was born, that's exactly what took place. And he said to be Emmanuel, which means God with us is what that actually means. So Jesus is there and he's God in a body. That's amazing thing. When you think about the incarnation, how that here's God helpless, having to depend on his mother to change his diaper, having to depend on his mother for food. And here's God who has all knowledge having to learn how to talk. He starts off, I'm sure he started crawling before he started walking. Don't put that in your mouth, Jesus. Man, that is crazy. And if Mary understood half of what took place, can you imagine when she's sitting there looking into Jesus? You ever look in a baby's eyes? I know you have. And those little eyes just stare a hole through you, those little babies. They're just pure and they're innocent. Can you imagine looking into the eyes of Jesus? I can't imagine that. We're gonna look into his eyes one day. So the prophecy, now come to Genesis 49 and notice the prophecy is not just in relationship to a star that's gonna come and to a sign that's gonna be given, but notice we have the prophecy that the tribe is listed here. Look in Genesis chapter 49. And he is said to come from Judah. And of course he was. Look in Genesis chapter 49. It's real similar to what we read with Balaam about the scepter. You'll notice in verse number eight, he starts prophesying of Judah. Mention him as the lion in verse number nine. Verse 10, the scepter, that's what a king rules with. The scepter shall not depart from Judah nor a lawgiver from between his feet until Shiloh come. Shiloh's capitalized, Shiloh's a person. What does it mean? It means it has to do with peace. Until Shiloh come and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. And of course, the prophecy about Jesus Christ's coming and he is born in Bethlehem. Let me show you this prophecy. Maybe you're not familiar with it. Turn to the Minor Prophets. Book of Micah, you may have to use your index for this one. I always remember it by M-N, it's like the alphabet, Micah, then Nahum. Look in Micah chapter number five, right after Jonah, you know where Jonah got swallowed by the whale, just go to the right, the next book over, Micah chapter five. This is the prophecy that tells us what city. And you think about the details, there's about 38 or so of these about his first coming. And they're not real vague details, they're very specific details. It will be like me saying, okay, in the year 2075, in the year 2075, a man's gonna be born in North America. And he's going to be born in the United States in North America. And he's going to be born in the state of Georgia. And he's going to be born in such and such a county. He's going to be born in such and such a city of that county. And this is what his name is going to be. Those are details. We're not talking about some Nostradamus. As the clouds were rolling past the hills, a tower fell. Ooh, September the 11th was prophesied. No. We're talking about specific details. And then when you get to the book of Daniel, I'm time to go into all of that. But Daniel lays out the actual time to be looking according to the years. That's why they were actually looking for those signs in the East. And that's why Simeon, I'm working on a message on Simeon. That's why he was waiting for Christmas. had calculated that thing and backed it up thinking okay all these priests start at 30 so Jesus will probably start his ministry as Messiah at 30. Pretty good guess and he got to see the baby. So notice Micah chapter number 5 verse number 2, but thou Bethlehem Ephrathah though thou be little among the thousands of Judah yet out of these shall come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel, whose goings forth, look at this, hath been from old, from everlasting. That shows you the deity of Christ. On his mother's side, he goes back in time, but on his father's side, he's eternal. All right, let's go to Deuteronomy 18. I want you to see this prophecy because I think we're gonna hit it again in the New Testament. Deuteronomy 18. You know, Christmas is a good time. If you try to get a witness in for the Lord, like I did today, it's a little bit corny, but hey, at least it gets Jesus in there. You say, Jesus is the reason for the season. You know, at least it breaks things up. It's not just, you know, we're gonna go have a Christmas party and drink alcohol. Thank God we're not having that. That's what some people think of Christmas as, just another time to turn up a bottle. Jesus Christ, the whole reason that people are doing what they're doing, although they don't even understand it, they just, hey, another day off of work, another time to party, another time to get gifts and everybody get together and have a good time. Yeah, but there's something behind that. You say, well, the devil understands the pagan holiday of December 25th. I get all of that, but still Jesus Christ, he has to be the center point. And of course they can't deny that. he's there's association with look in Deuteronomy chapter 18 Deuteronomy chapter 18 notice this prophecy look down in verse number 18 this is God speaking to Moses I will raise them up a prophet from among their brethren like unto thee and will put my words in his mouth and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him so when they asked John in the New Testament Are you the Messiah? He says, no. They say, are you that prophet? John chapter one. And he said, no, I'm the voice of one quiet crying in the wilderness. That prophet, they're talking about this guy here from Deuteronomy 18, that's the Messiah. So when Jesus Christ is on the earth, he's exercising his ministry as prophet. He's a preacher and he gives 12 details about his death before it ever happens and his resurrection. And he gives the whole Olivet discourse, Matthew chapter 24, that's all prophecy. So he exercised his ministry as prophet. And then of course, now he's exercising his ministry as priest, making intercession for us. And when he comes back, he's gonna exercise his ministry as King of Kings. And so we see that some of these prophecies, now I want us to look at some of these promises, the promises of Christmas. Now get Psalm 85 in one hand, I want you to see this, and Luke 1 in the other hand. Psalm 85, and to see the Jewishness of all of this, Psalm 85 and Luke 1. Zacharias, which was John the Baptist's father, he made a proclamation and said all these things, got on a preaching tangent there when his mouth opened up and he would begin to speak. And he prophesies and he says some things, look at Luke chapter number one, we're gonna read it through, then we're gonna look over in Psalm 85 and look at some of these things. Luke one, look at verse 67. Luke one, 67, then we'll go to Psalm 85. Luke 167, And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost and prophesied, saying, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he hath visited and redeemed his people, and hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David. as he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began, that we should be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all that hate us, to perform the mercy promised to our fathers and to remember his holy covenant, the oath which he swore to our father Abraham. that he would grant unto us that we, being delivered out of the hand of our enemies, might serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our life. And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the highest, for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God, whereby the day spring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death to guide our feet into the way of peace. And so that's Zacharias, his preaching and prophesying. Go back to Psalm 85. Let's read through this. Psalm 85 verse one, Lord, thou has been favorable unto thy land. Thou has brought back the captivity of Jacob. Thou has forgiven the iniquity of thy people. Thou has covered all their sin. Notice in verses one and two, that the forgiveness of the nation, and it does come through the blood of Jesus corporately, When Christ shed his blood, he shed his blood for Israel, but he also shed his blood not just corporately for the nation, but individually for everybody's sins. But notice Israel is forgiven at the second advent. As a nation, verse number two, thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people. Thou hast covered all their sins, Selah. Thou hast taken away all thy wrath. Thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger. Turn us, O God, of our salvation and cause thine anger toward us to cease. Wilt thou be angry with us forever? Wilt thou draw out thine anger to all generations? Wilt thou not revive us again that thy people may rejoice in thee? He sure will. That'll take place in the millennium. the anger that took place during the tribulation to turn them back to God. Boy, it takes a lot to turn them back to God. The Jews actually think today when you look at them, when they postulate the purpose and the reason for the Holocaust, they basically revert back to the humanity of man. And we show the resilience that people can go through atrocities and come out on top. Pride, pride, pride, pride, pride. Jews are full of pride. Paul nailed it in Romans chapter number 10. He says they're ignorant of God's righteousness, going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves to the righteousness of God. And boy, he's going to beat them down in the tribulation. You think 6 million was bad. You read the tribulation. If any, if the numbers are anything like you read about with David and Saul, I mean, David's got 600 men wandering around the mountain, Saul's chasing after him. and you begin to think about the uh the massacre that takes place with the antichrist and the anti-semitism and the tribulation they turn back to him eventually and he does revive them in the millennium verse 7 psalm 85 7 show us thy mercy oh lord and grant us thy salvation notice how salvation has to do with physical deliverance the jews will experience salvation when jesus literally comes back and saves them Man, if somebody came down and you were walking down the street and you didn't see this car coming and they grabbed you and yanked you out of the sidewalk and the car went by and almost hit you, you say, man, thank you for saving me. Not your soul, but your life. Physical deliverance. Verse eight, I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace unto his people and to his saints, but let them not turn again the folly. Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him, that glory may dwell in our land, and it will. The glory of God will be in their land. Mercy and truth are met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed one another. And that goes in till Melchizedek. He's the first king, the king of righteousness and king of peace, the king of Salem. That's where Jerusalem is. And of course, Jerusalem, the city of peace. The only way you can have peace is when you have mercy and truth come together. And they're not together now in the city of peace. Imagine Jerusalem being called the city of peace. Think about all the bloodshed that's taking place there. It will be when the king, the prince of peace comes back. Truth shall spring out of the earth and righteousness shall look down from heaven. Yea, the Lord shall give that which is good and our land shall yield her increase. Righteousness shall go before him and shall set us in the way of his steps. Psalm 85 is certainly prophetic. And Zacharias taps into some of that in his preaching there. All right, let me skip on and wrap this thing up here. I'll give you another thing referencing the promise of Christmas regarding the prophecies here. Caiaphas, the high priest prophesied in John 11 verses 49 to 52. He said, you don't know that it's expedient that one man should die for the people. Remember the passage in Matthew when it says, he shall save, when he's born there, the angel gives the pronunciation there, pronouncement, whatever it's called. He shall save his people from their sins. Jewish. And I know we all take it personally. I'm glad he saved me, but you gotta make sure you understand the context. And then of course the messianic salvation and the tribulation of deliverance, Romans 11, 26, I gave you that earlier. It says, and so all Israel shall be saved. This will come out of Zion, the deliverer. And the, come back to one more place. Let's see where we should wrap this up. Let's go to the book of Daniel, Daniel chapter seven. I'm sure you remember the angel Gabriel when he comes in and tells Mary in Luke chapter one, He says, look, Daniel chapter seven. He says, the power of the highest will overshadow thee. And that Holy thing that shall be born of thee shall be of the Holy ghost. And the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father, David. And he shall reign over the house of Israel forever, he says. So we not only have the promises of Christmas and the pedigree of Christmas, we have the politics of Christmas. This will get people's ears. The politics of Christmas. You know, when you look in the Old Testament, you study the Old Testament, you find out that religion and politics are combined. Now, thank God in our country, when it was established, they were split. Now, if the Protestants had anything to do with it, the early forefathers, not the pilgrims, but the Puritans, if the Puritans would have got their way, none of us Baptists would have lasted. I mean, they were having us beat and punished and whipped and all kind of things because Baptists didn't have a license. But the Puritans would have set up their own church states. And so would the Catholics. The Spanish, boy, I tell you, if that Louisiana Purchase and some of those other things wouldn't have taken place when you began to look at how the Lord orchestrated some things, we could have had a very divided continent, really, between the French and the Spanish and the English. And even some of those things, how they played out, you see it not just politically, but you have to see it religiously, because all of those countries were state churches. And we don't even think that way. We don't even understand that in most places of the world, the state, the government, tells you what you can do as far as your church goes. And most of the time, your taxes and everything are tied into your income and money, and taxes are tied into the church state or the religion. And of course, if the Puritans would have had their way, or if the Catholics would have had their way, This would have been a church state, but it wasn't. It was split down the middle. The Old Testament, what you see is God, a theocracy ruling over the people. And he says, let me give you these commandments. Somebody gather sticks on Saturday to make a fire. If you take some stones and you kill them. Now we would never have a law like that. And I don't think I'd ever kill anybody if they just took fruit off a tree either, but I'm not God. We don't understand when we just look at things on the surface and our unregenerate, infinite, finite minds, what God's doing. But in the Old Testament, you have a theocracy before the king show up and God is ruling over the people. And then when the king show up, they're supposed to rule under the fear of God. And things start off pretty well with Solomon. You have religion and politics right there together. The king is supposed to write out a copy of the Old Testament law. He's supposed to follow that thing. And all the world hears about Solomon. It starts off, man, it looks like the kingdom of heaven is going to take place. It looks like there really is going to be peace. And the whole world begins to hear about it. And queens and kings begin to come to Solomon for his wisdom. And of course, you know what happened with Solomon. And then the kingdom winds up splitting and everything else. And eventually God says, I am so sick and tired of you kings. I'm done with you. Take the crown off your head. You're not fit to have the crown. Nobody's gonna be able to pick up that crown until He who comes who's right it is. Well, there's a curse in Jeremiah 23 placed on the seed of David. Jeconiah the king, God curses him, takes his name off of Jeconiah's name, which is Jehovah, J-E, and He just calls him Coniah, and He says, curse should be the seed of David. I will overturn, overturn it, He says. So there's a conundrum. How in the world is God going to fulfill his promise, both to Abraham and to David, that he's going to give him a son that's going to rule on his throne forever when he just put a curse on the seat of David? Well, the answer is when Jesus tells the Pharisees, Hey, how did my, how did David say the Lord have said unto my Lord? Why did David call his son Lord? You ever read Psalm 89, the promise to David, he says, David, your, your son's going to be my firstborn. How does that work, Lord? How is my son, David doesn't question him. Of course, Lord just tells him, your son is gonna be my firstborn. And Jesus throws that right back on the Pharisees. He says, how does David by spirit call the Lord, capital L-O-R-D, Lord, L-O-R-D. Or however, Psalm 110, you have to go look it up. I think I'm misquoting it. But he throws that to the Pharisees and they don't understand it because they don't get it that the son of David had to be virgin born according to the messianic prophecy in order to bypass the curse placed on David's seed. They didn't get it. But politics and religion will mix again. Holiday season, you get together with family, don't bring up religion and politics, right? Just go drink your eggnog as long as it's not spiked. Drink your eggnog. I can't stand eggnog. My dad and Christy were the only ones in our family that used to like eggnog. Now she has to drink it by herself, but I don't think we've had it in the last several years. Keep religion and politics out because people get passionate about that, they say. But the fact of the matter is, religion and politics will mix again. Let's look at this prophecy and we'll wrap it up. Daniel chapter seven, verse nine. There's several of them we can look at Daniel, but. 7, 9, I beheld till the thrones were cast down and the ancient of days did sit. His garment was white as snow and the hair of his head like the pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame and his wheels as burning fire. So we have this throne mentioned and we find it over and over again. You'll see it in verse 22. Until the ancient of days came and judgment was given to the saints of the most high, the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom. And there's coming a day when Jesus Christ will come back and he's going to sit on that throne and he's going to take over what rightfully belongs to him. And he's going to sit on a Jewish throne in Israel, in Jerusalem and I tell you the headlines and what we're seeing in the news, that kind of stuff should excite you. I don't know what all is gonna take place. I've given you some stuff before when we studied the tabernacle and the temple. I don't know if we will see the temple rebuilt in Israel before the rapture. There's nothing that says one way or the other really. We may, and I don't know how much we will see as far as how many Jews are gonna have to get back into the land. It almost appears that they're all gonna try to flee back. Although if the rapture took place today, the Antichrist could certainly have a global mission to destroy the Jewish people. And he certainly can have a way to find out where they are. You know, people actually are turning in their DNA to people. You know, people are doing that. Some of you probably have, you know. You want to find out what your heritage is, so you just give up your blood. And their database system, they're collecting, they're finding out who everybody is. So who? I'll tell you who is. The AI. The Antichrist Intelligence. And we think it's so far-fetched. Those of you who know the history of the Holocaust, can you imagine having a star? By the way, the star predates Hitler, those of you that know the history behind that. Can you imagine somebody knowing where everybody's at and somebody knowing who they are? And we're seeing those things come to pass. And the Lord Jesus Christ is going to return to his rightful throne one day and take over. And I'm looking forward to that. The closer we get to that, the closer we get to the rapture. Amen. Let's all stand and be dismissed. Thank you for coming tonight. Don't forget.
