Revelations tonight, Revelation chapter number 20, verse number 7 through verse number 15 is what we want to look at tonight and pray the Lord will help us and speak to our hearts and give us that that we need for His honor and His glory. Do pray that the Lord will just meet the needs of these requests that's made even unspoken. There's something not to take lightly because there's a heart crying out and it's just so much that you cannot speak many times. But the Lord's been good. He has all the time. He's answered things and He's spoken to our heart through miracles. I mean, Nicodemus said, we know you're a man sent from God because of the miracles that you do. And if you can just get hold to these miracles that God's done, you've been affected by them in some way, some form, some more directly than others, but we've all indirectly been affected by these miracles that's occurred. And so I'm just thankful for what the Lord's doing and He's still in control. Now, Revelation chapter number, 20 verse 7 through verse number 15, Revelation chapter 20 verse number 7, When the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and shall go out to deceive the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city, and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. And the books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the book of and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them. And they were judged every man according to their work, and death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Let's pray again. Father, help us tonight. Give us the insight and understanding we need. anything don't need to be brought to my mind, but bring that that needs to be said tonight to this congregation, Lord, and if we'll only be sensitive to you, we'll preach the whole counsel of God, which is the advice that you want this congregation to hear tonight. Help, Lord. We're a needy people. I need you tonight, and I pray you'd just help me. to be on schedule tonight. Let no one quench your spirit. Open our eyes to see and our ears to hear and our hearts to receive what you have for us, Lord. If you don't, we can't, but you will, we can, and I pray you'll just do that, that we might have the understanding we need and just see the grace of God, the goodness of God, the longsuffering of God, the forbearance of God, and Lord, may it lead many to repentance in this, even tonight or in the days to come. and we'll thank you for what you do. Now help us tonight, I wanna say I love you, help me to love you more day by day, help me to walk in your willing way, and we'll praise you for all that's done, for we ask it all in Jesus' name, for his sake we do pray, amen. You may be seated. We've been looking in the book, well, all through the Bible, and what's called the Bible in perspective, is we're trying to put things in order, and we're up to Revelation chapter 20, verse seven. Tonight's where we got to. Now Revelation 20, I've already rehearsed the last tape pretty thorough, so tonight I'll just try to look at Revelation 20, and I know it will still, some of it ties back with the other, but Revelation 20 contains six major emphases. And the first major emphasis is verses 1 through 3, which we didn't read tonight because we've already dealt with, but there we find the removal of Satan. Now you see when Satan got the eye willies in heaven, God kicked him out of heaven, third heaven, down to this atmospheric heaven. Now one of these days he's going to be limited down to this earth. Revelation 12 brings that out. but he's still alive and well on planet earth and in this atmospheric heaven and he's got all the demons of hell that's there under his domain and he had of course in the end time he's going to resurrect the unholy trinity which is he's the great dragon of course Satan but he also has the Antichrist there's a false prophet which causes people to worship the false prophet by giving the mark of the beast. If you don't have the mark of the beast, whatever that may be, it will cause, in other words, it will cause you where you can't buy or sell without it. And that will cause men, if they're not saved by the grace of God, to take that mark. And if they take that mark, they're doomed. That's the deadline that you cross, is what it amounts to. And I do not believe the saints of God will not take that mark. I believe even if there's some seekers that know the truth, I believe they'll recognize that some things just don't matter anymore. It don't matter how many bills I've got to pay. It don't matter what all's out there. They can take my property because there's only one thing left, important, and that's my soul. And if you've had enough teaching about that, if, if that slips up on us and comes before you die, then may, just pray God that you'll just not take the mark of the beast. And he who endures to the end will be saved, but it's not just not taking the mark of the beast. You know, the only way you never take the mark of the beast is to have the grace of God operating in And so therefore, if you're seeking the Lord and you're walking in understanding, He's plowed your heart, He's making the ground good, I believe that there'll be some that will say, I can't take that mark. I can't take that mark. And through that all, the Lord will reveal Himself to you and save you, amen. And you say, well, you, you say, you act like it's going to happen in our lifetime. It could, it could happen in some of our lifetime. I mean, I don't know. I know you said we've heard that all of our lives, but Paul wanted us to live that way, what's called the imminent return of our Lord. So anyway, whenever the Lord comes back, he sets up the, he takes the beast and the false prophet after Armageddon, when he comes back to this Revelation chapter 19, and cast them in the lake of fire. He takes Satan and removes him, verses 1, 2 and 3, by chaining him in a bottomless pit for a season the Bible talks about. That season is a thousand years in length is what the Bible brings out. Now we also looked at the second major event last week. We talked about the reign of the saints who will rule and reign with Jesus Christ during the Millennium reign. And by the way, they'll all be in the first resurrection. All will be caught up when the Lord comes back in the clouds and we'll meet Him in the air. In other words, He'll come in the air and we'll meet, we'll have a glorified body. All saints of God, whether they've been dead for 6,000 years or however long they've been dead, they'll be resurrected and the saints that's alive at that time will be called up to be with the Lord and so shall they ever be with the Lord, but we will rule and reign with Him a thousand years and that's what's called the Millennium reign. Now we said last week that that is the what's called the premillennial view. We are a premillennialist which means that we believe that Jesus is coming back to this earth before He sets up His millennium reign. He's coming back to catch His bride away and there will be the judgment seat, the marriage of the Lamb, the marriage supper of the Lamb and as He pours out the wrath on the earth and He comes back and Armageddon ensues but then He'll usher in the millennium reign and there's not a lot said about it revelations as far as the millennium reign except he said the saints will reign with Jesus a thousand years. Now you go back to many of the Old Testament prophets it talks about that reign and what will occur during that time but the parable of the pounds he said you rule over ten cities and one who increased five fold will rule over five cities. So you see there's some of the parables at the window through which to see truth that gives us some insight about how we'll rule and reign with the Lord Jesus Christ upon this earth during this millennium reign and so therefore that's the second major emphasis. Now let's look at the third major emphasis in chapter 20 which is verse 7 and 8 and you see here He said, And when the thousand years are expired, In other words, when they passed, and it's not some figurative thing, it means they're literally going to be a thousand years. He said, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison. And in other words, that'll fulfill verse number three, where he said that he was bound a thousand years. Well, they cast him into a bottomless pit. shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years should be fulfilled, and after that he must be loosed a little season. Now I don't know how long that little season is, but it's just a short time, we don't know the length of it, the duration of it, but why is he loosed for a little season? You see he's bound for a thousand years, he's not attempting anyone, he's not pulling anyone aside, he's not controlling anyone and the saints of God are ruling and reigning with Jesus but remember there's going to be some abodedly people, people with physical bodies that's going into the Millennium reign that will repopulate this earth during that time. Some of them will live for a thousand years and Zechariah talks about the fact that they'll, they'll worship the Lord Jesus. Zechariah chapter number 14 verse number 16, listen to what it says during that time. It shall come to pass that everyone that is left of all the nations shall come against Jerusalem and shall even go up from year to year to worship the king and the Lord of hosts and keep the feast of tabernacles. In other words, they're going to come and worship the Lord. Some of them are going to do it for a thousand years. Get that picture, a thousand but what's happening, the Satan now is going to be loose. Now why is he going to be loose? Verse number eight says, he shall go out to deceive the nations. That's people, by the way. In other words, those human beings who went in and repopulated the earth. In other words, it's not going to be the saints he's going to deceive, because the saints of God will never be deceived. In fact, the saints of God at this time have glorified bodies. They'll be like our Lord. We'll be like our Lord, and that's an immortal body. uncorruptible body and we'll have a, well we'll see through a glass darkly but then face to face we'll know some things. We'll not be deceived by Satan in that day. In fact even when the Antichrist is on the throne he's going to rule in this world. The Bible said in Matthew 24 he's going to do many exploits in essence is what he said and that would deceive the very elect if it were possible. Not talking about Israel, he's talking about spiritual Israel if you please. the saints of God, those who've had a sanctifying work of the Spirit done. And even in that day, He said, they will not be deceived. So these people today who say, well, I used to be a Baptist, I used to be this, and I used to be that, and I'll tell you, they go off and follow some error, they're not saved. Do you realize that? They're not saved according to the Word of God, because the Bible says the Holy Spirit lives inside. He'll guide you into all truth. So if you're not walking in truth and claim the name of Christ, you don't have the Holy Spirit inside. and therefore you'll be deceived and these people he goes out to deceive the nations that's those people who would actually worship the Lord for a thousand years now the Bible said in 2nd Corinthians 11 14 And no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. He's a messenger of light even today. To give you a false light, if you please, makes it look good, and try to pull you aside and deceive you. And that's why the Bible said, we are blinded by the God of this world, II Corinthians 4.4. Because we've been deceived, man has been deceived in his natural self. That's why it takes the work of God to pull the scales from our eyes, pull the scales from our heart, pull the scales from our ears, amen. We need that more than anything else. Now the devil will carry you as far as he can carry you. And that's why in some countries some of these false religions are actually killing the saints of God today, even in Mexico and in the jungles and some of these places. They're going as far, the devil will carry you as far as he can. I'm glad for July the 4th, not because of fireworks, but I'm glad for what it stands for, our revolution, our freedom in America, amen, from England. You know something, he's glad of it too, amen. Because how would you like to be joined to the Church of England and have to go through all that? Oh my, it'd be rough, wouldn't it? Well, it's bad enough that what we have state churches here, but I'm glad we got freedom. And listen, we better exercise it while we can. Amen. North Korea shot that thing up. I hadn't heard all the details. I hadn't read all about it. But I'm glad it fizzled out. Is that a good word for it? It's like some of these fireworks they've shot on July the 4th. Amen. It just fizzled out. I'm glad because that tells me God's still in control. He's still giving America a little more opportunity. There's still a little more open door and a striving spirit and a preacher of righteousness for America. Amen. We better appreciate it. We better take heed to it because you see, If God pulls back the hedge and just lets the devil out of us even more, how many will be deceived? How many will go astray? How many will come so far and then turn back to the dog, like the dog to the vomit and the hog to the wallow, huh? I mean, you better be glad that God hadn't turned you loose. I can handle the devil. You're dangerous, grand. You can't handle the devil. You're no match for the devil. David, who was a man after God's own heart, was no match for the devil because he committed adultery with Bathsheba and had her husband killed. And Samson, the strongest man that ever was, married a thousand women, counting his concubines. Honey, you're the only one. You're one in a thousand. He's the only one that could ever say that. Amen? But the thing about how he could do that, I don't know. But remember, he didn't have the Holy Spirit living inside. He didn't have the completed work. Did I say that wrong? What did I, honey? Oh yeah, I was talking about Solomon, okay, y'all keep me straight. I was fixing to get to Samson, Samson's the strongest man that there was, but none of them were matches for the devil, you see. I got them all round up together, y'all forgive me for that. You see how easy it is to get messed up? You see how easy it is to get messed up in this old flesh, but the saints of God will never be deceived by Satan. You might tamper with something, you might look at something that you don't really understand, you might dibble and dabble with it, but God's Holy Spirit who lives inside is going to pull you astray from that. Amen? Because Matthew 24 says it's impossible, in essence, if you'll read the reading of that, for a saint of God to be deceived by the Antichrist. And folks, he'll have a whole lot more deception than what he's got. What's going on in America today? but the devil will carry you just as far as he can. How does he do it? Through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, just like he operated on Eve in the garden, like he's done all down through the time. You say, look like he'd come up with some new tactics. Well, he don't have to, they still work. Why come up with something new if it worked? I wish some of these manufacturers would learn that, amen? I used to be in business, and they'd get something that worked real good, and it done good, and lo and behold, there's some engineer sitting up there that needed something to do, and no offense on the engineers, amen, but needed something to do, and wound up making something that they had problems with. Y'all know what I'm talking about? Well, Lord help, I mean, and the guys who wrote those books to tell you how to take all that equipment apart, I'd love to have their job. I believe I could write it a little more simplified. You, Brother Cheryl, I mean, they go around the corner to try to tell you to take out a bolt, you know. and Lord, I don't know how I got off on that, I'm talking about being deceived. The devil will caress as far as he can through the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, but you see, you realize something, that's really in one sense is necessary for us to get that way because we're going to have to get to the place we get desperate and realize we can't get out ourselves and realize it takes the Lord Jesus who's the strong man of the house, Matthew 12. He said, or else how can one enter into the strong man's house and spoil his goods? Except he first bind the strong man and then he'll spoil his house. And we need the devil bound in our life because we're giving, we're really children of disobedience and the spirit of the devil works in every one of us. We're born that way. and it's controlling us. We're dominated to the point of control, and it takes the Lord Jesus to show up and manifest Himself that we might be saved. Now during this millennium reign, He's going to be on the throne. The devil's going to be bound for a thousand years, and the people are going to worship the Lord during that thousand years, but yet what's going to happen is they're going to be deceived, because he's going to be let loose just for a little while, the Lord's going to test those to let them know, what do you have, whether it's real or whether it's not. In other words, they've been giving reverence to the Lord, some of them a thousand years, they've been bowing to Him, they've been giving lip service, but their heart was not changed. You see, the Lord He had ruled during this thousand years with a rod of iron, and men yielded, because there was no tempter. And so the Lord lets him loose for a season, and to go out to deceive them, the human-bodied people on this earth at that time. But he also says here in verse number 8, Not only shall he go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. Now it's called, he's going to gather them together from the four corners of the earth. He deceives them and assembles an army. And it's called the battle of Gog and Magog. Now I don't understand all about all the inference and what it's referring to and what it implies. But that's what God called that battle. I know that Ezekiel 38 and 39 gives a lot of things and sometimes your prophecy has a dual prophecy. It may apply to Armageddon, sometimes it may apply to this battle in the end time. You have to rightly divide to know, and sometimes we don't have enough sense to rightly divide some of that Old Testament prophecy. But I do know, he said it's going to be called the Battle of Gog and Magog because It's the same in nature as what Ezekiel spoke of over there, but it's Satan driving in men, driving men to war against God. Who? Human-bodied people who went into the Millennium Reign, repopulated the earth, some of them 1,000 years old. They're going to be living longer than Methuselah at that time because if they're, say they went in and they're 30 years old, just say they were, it's going to be 1,030 when that time rolls around. So they're going to be older than Methuselah, amen. But still, they're driven by the Satan to go against God. Now if you'll notice the scripture in verse number 10, it didn't say except so many. It didn't say except a few of this or a few of that. It just talks like every man upon the face of the earth who has a human body is driven to war against God because Satan deceived them. because you see they didn't have a work done in their heart. All they had was just a, well God was just ruling with that rod of iron and they were giving obedience by lip service. That's what they were really doing. And so then, so that leads us to the next thing we see in this chapter as far as this major emphasis, we see the society at that time, verse number 9 he said, And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and come past the camp of the saints about. And the beloved city and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. In other words, the revolt of society, the human bodied people that were deceived. They went up against the camp of the saints, the New Jerusalem, the city that came down out of heaven, the beloved city if you please. And see these men were not willing subjects of the king of kings but they rendered him lip service just like we've used that illustration about mama telling the boy to sit down, to sit down. And finally the little boy popped down in the seat in the and looked at her as if to say, I'm a sitting down on the outside, but I'm still standing up on the inside. And the sad part about it is sometimes we are just like it. We don't have to be little kids to do that. God tells us to do something. You say, well, I'll do it, but I don't want to. You might not say it that way, but your actions say it that way. Huh? Amen? Have a witness to that. It happened so many times. And so therefore that's what they were doing at that time. And the number he said was the sand of the sea. There's going to be a population explosion during that time. Millennium reign, what's it going to be like? There'll be no deaths during that time, nobody's going to die for that thousand years. There'll be, the curse in a sense will be partially removed, it won't be 100% removed until God burns out the dross and creates a new heaven and a new earth, but it's going to be like we've told you before, and it's not necessarily these words, but the lamb will lay down with the lion and the child will play on the hole of the nest, The sores will overtake the reapers because the food's going to be natural. It's going to be organic. It's not going to have all that other stuff. The bugs not going to eat it. Have to spray all Malathon and Seven to get those ladybugs, those Japanese beetles off your trees. and get the worms out of the corn and all that stuff. It's just going to grow. In other words, there's going to be a great food production. In other words, there'll be clean air. You won't have to worry about sinus problems during that time. God's going to have an environment that's going to be great and disease will be eliminated. You think about it, hospitals will go out of business. I don't know what all them HMRs and all that stuff are going to do, amen. But they're going to go out of business because God's in control. There's going to be a perfect environment. Al Gore won't be there. He's not going to be there because he's done Mark before that time. I mean, you understand what I'm saying? I don't think you'll make it that far. Tree huggers we're talking about. But it's going to be a perfect environment. You know what people are saying today? They say, oh, if we could just get a better environment, you'll be okay. You'd be alright. But folks, these people have got a perfect environment. No tempter. So they worship God. Seems good, doesn't it? But then he's loose for a little season. and it every one of them followed Him. It didn't say except this one or except that one or except a few. Now God always, He's got the Word of God fixed. A lot of times it will say all of these except something if He's trying to eliminate something. But here He said they. as the sand of the sea, this population explosion, in other words, they came and by the way, you realize something, only the human heart remains unchanged in this crowd that lived a thousand years. Jeremiah 13, 23 said, Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then may ye also do good that are accustomed to do evil. He said if the, if the, in other words the leopard can change his spots or a black man can change his skin to white. Now they're trying to do that, amen, sometimes. What makes me, aggravates me more than anything is the white people trying to change it black, amen. Amen. Lord help. Just come to mind. Amen. But that's not right. Amen. You can't do it. You might put on a facade. You might make it look that way. But you can't change his skin. The leopard can't change his spot. He said if you could, he said if you could do that, in other words he said, then ye also may do good. but in other words he said you can't do good within yourself that are accustomed to do evil and these people even though it looked like they were doing good they were standing up on the inside and sitting down on the outside you understand they were worshipping the Lord on the outside but inside they were just waiting for that little, little, little tempter to come along I say little You understand, the tempter comes along and wham, they all follow him and go against the saints of God in the beloved city one more time. You see, Romans chapter 8 says this, in Romans chapter 8, verse number 7 and 8, he said, Romans 8, 7 and 8, So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God, but ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. You see, God's enemies are determined to destroy the place of Christ, that's the throne. In other words, where's that? There in Jerusalem, the beloved city. And what does it say God did with them, all of them, didn't leave out anyone, but everyone that followed the devil, which was every human-bodied person at that time? He said he rained down fire on them, did he not? Verse number 9, he said, and fire came down from God out of heaven and destroyed them. period. Didn't say except so and so. Every human bodied person who had the opportunity during those times, they worshiped God, they saw the Lord, but they didn't turn. You better be glad that God's dealing with your depraved heart. Amen. You better be glad that God's giving you an ear to hear because the human heart, you see, in other words, it doesn't want to do anything with God. And you can't change, the leopard can't change its spots, neither can you that are accustomed to do evil do good. So the Bible doesn't mention any of these as being saved, but all of them being destroyed. Now the Bible said in Hebrews 12, 29, Our God is a consuming fire. be sure your sin will find you out. Well that's the, that's the, what we're dealing with as far as the, the six major emphases, the removal of Satan, the reign of the saints, the return of Satan and the revolt of society, but now let's look at, look at another major event here, the rebellious one sent to the lake of fire. That's verse number 10, then he said, And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. In other words, this is the final abode. Now remember, the lake of fire today, no one's in that. Revelation 19, after the battle of Armageddon, the beast and the false prophet are cast into the lake of fire. Now you notice he sins after a thousand years pass, he takes the devil here after he deceived the people, he'd been bound a thousand years but he's loose for a season, now God reaches over and grabs him and casts him where? In the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet are. Now I know the word are is in italics in your Bible. That means it's placed there by the translators. But you see, the Bible, it means it's there. It's tried to put there to help you understand. Sometimes it may help you, and sometimes those italic words may not help you understand. But it gives you smooth English reading. But it didn't say where they were. It said where they are. And they'd been roasting and frying and sizzling for a thousand years, the beast and the false prophet, and they're still there in that fire, in brimstone. They're still there in the lake of fire. Verse 2 there, and now the devil, the third part of that unholy trinity is cast in there, and they're going to join one another again in the lake of fire. Verse 3, to go into that place at that time. Well, that's his final abode. That's the place that God prepared for the devil and his angel. Matthew 25, 41, listen to what he said. He said, Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, Depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. God never prepared hell for you. He prepared it for the devil and his angels, but God's had to enlarge hell because man is rejecting the light that God gives him and he has no choice but to cast him into hell, you see. hell is enlarging itself to receive those, and here these are going to be cast in, in other words they'll be, they're going to be cast there and they'll be tormented, well the devils there of course will be tormented. but he's sent to his final abode. It's his place. No one's there but those three at that particular time. You see the one who has brought untold sorrow and suffering to all mankind must now suffer for all eternity. Well how did that come about? Well the Bible says in John chapter 12 verse number 31 through 33 He said, Now is the judgment of this world. Now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. This, He said, signifying what death he should die. In other words, it's talking about the cross of Calvary. These verses reveal that Satan's judgment was assured at the cross of Calvary when Jesus said, It's finished. The devil's as good as destroyed. He's as good as cast in the lake of fire. Even though he's still alive, so-called, and well on planet earth, there's coming a day that it's going to be doomed. Did not one time when Jesus went over and talked to the man we call, refer to his legion, because he had a legion of demons in him, but the demons used his voice and said, did you come to torment us before time? They know they're a defeated foe. And they called him the Son of God. That means he had to be virgin born. There's a lot of professors in our seminaries that don't believe in the virgin birth of our Lord, but there's not a demon. in hell or demon anywhere that does not believe that Jesus is the virgin-born Son of God. They know He is. Amen. And they know their time is coming and He's going to do all He can while He can. Amen. Well, you take for instance, I mean, when we roofed a house one day, it just comes to mind, we knew the rain was coming, or tried to roof a house. Amen. And even though some thought we were workaholics to do it, you know, because we were up there just working up a storm. Listen, Marty's house was undone. I mean, part of the old house was uncovered. And the rain's coming, there's no doubt about it. Look at it, it's coming. What are you going to do in that time? You say, we'll rest after the rain comes. We'll work, we'll work while we've got opportunity. And you realize something, there's a, I don't know, my application on all this, I don't know if it'll all pan out, but listen, if you knew things is going to come, it'll cause you to work different, but the devil knows he's a defeated foe and he's doing everything he can to try to hinder people, deceive people, using every technology he can to try to keep you from getting to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen? He'll throw stumbling blocks in front of you. He'll deceive you. He'll come as a little bit of light. You've got the same old pergative pill inside, you know, covered like a medicine. You know what I'm saying? He's doing all he can because he knows he's a defeated foe. Why? When Jesus said, Tetelestai, when he's lifted up on the cross of Calvary, it is finished. It's got completed action with existing results. And devil, you're a defeated foe. And to prove it even further, three days later he came forth out of the grave. and the devil couldn't hold him down, amen. And so therefore he knows he's a defeated foe and he does everything that he can to try to stop you. He tried to deceive you, tried to lead you astray, even today. But in that day, he gets all of them to follow him and God rains down fire on them, he said there that day. Now, you realize something in John 16, 11, he talks about the Holy Spirit will convict or reprove a world of sin, of righteousness and judgment. Verse number 11 says, of judgment, because the prince of this world is Jud. And if we really look at that, the prince of this world is Lucifer, is Beelzebub, is the archangel that was created, probably the most anointed cherub. Well there ain't no probably to it. Ezekiel said he's the most anointed cherub. He was God's right hand man is what it amounts to. And he's saying if God said he will judge Satan, who is his right-hand man, who's the prince of all cherubs, he'll judge you if you don't come God's way. And he'll say, therefore, he'll convince you and convict you of judgment that's coming. Now somebody said, well, I don't want to go to hell. And somebody said, well, all you've got to do is just pray and ask the Lord to save you. I've got news for you. God don't save you to keep out of hell, but He will bring you to a point and deal with the fact that you've got the judgment of God hanging on you. But He'll show you His goodness and show you His love, His long-suffering, as He's holding back that wrath that's hanging over our head today. Amen. Oh, He's good. Amen. And he said we despise that many times. You realize these verses just reveal that the judgment, Satan's judgment was assured at the cross. So no wonder Satan hates the book of Revelation. No wonder he tries to keep people from studying. People don't want it. Bible says in Revelations 1 he said blessed are they who read it and obey it in a sense or heed it. and keep the words of this book, but why? Because it unveils the Lord Jesus and in so doing it brings to light the methods of deception and His final end and the devil don't like that, amen. We're talking about really the major emphasis in this book, the removal of Satan, the reign of saints, the return of Satan, the revolt of society and the rebellious one sent to the lake of fire. but then we see there's a resurrection of sinners that comes. Now I'm not going to deal with this tonight in its entirety because it's too lengthy, but that's the six major subject or the topic, I guess you could say, as we see verses 11 through verse number 15 where there's another resurrection. See, blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection. And the rest of the same, what did he say over there in verse number 5? He says 6, he said, And on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests with God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. Then when the thousand years are expired, when they're fulfilled, then Satan is loosed. Then all society revolts against God. Then after God takes and rains down fire on them, I suppose it winds up, they wind up going to hell at that time. It would really be where they go because they don't go to the lake of fire until after they had the great white throne judgment. But then God has the great white throne judgment and all sinners will be resurrected because all of them are dead. They'll all be dead at that time. He rains fire on them, they're going to die. Revelation. So every sinner from, well, 7,000 years time, roughly, I mean that's just rounding it off, all the way back to Adam in the garden and then the 1,000 year millennium reign, all of them are going to be resurrected, small and great. Why? Kings and paupers, in other words, kings and servants will have to stand before God and the books are going to be opened and the book of life is going to be opened and whosoever's name was not found written in the book of life is cast into the lake of fire. Now, we will deal with that. That's Revelation chapter 20 in this Bible in perspective as we see the resurrections of the sinners here. Stand before the great platform. I don't know about you, but I don't even like to go before the judge. I don't even like to go as a witness. It bothers me, you know? You don't know what they're going to do, okay? Now, the Lord's going to do right. See, when I went to Nigeria, Africa, the first time, I told them, I said, they give us, they put out the red carpet for us. Boy, they catered to us when we went over. Of course, you know what? All Americans got money, according to them. They thought they were getting ready to get a bunch of money from these white Americans, amen? And according to our standards, we are rich. compared to them, but they thought they was going to get a bunch of money. So we were trying to get us some land. Oh, they was going to give us a bunch of land to build a Bible Institute because I was trying to keep them over there. You don't need them to come over here. If they come over here, they won't want to go back to their people, they mean most of the time. Well, at any rate, I told them, I said, the first time they put the red carpet out, the second time I went back, they put a green carpet out for us. And the third time they jerked it out from under us. He said, what'd they do? I got sued in a Nigerian court for $125,000 equal to $125,000. And I tell you what, you don't know what you're facing, because over there, everything is two hours late. If they say 8 o'clock, you get there at 10, you'll still be 30 minutes early. I mean, that's the way they do it. But here they come out with a, some way, they'd gotten something through the court on Saturday and brought us a paper on Saturday now. We're supposed to be in court Monday morning at 8 o'clock. Well, you said you worry about getting there. I want to get there, amen, because just as sure as I didn't get there, they'd open the courthouse door. But sure enough, got there at 8 o'clock, and everything's locked up tight in Dick's hat, man, amen. Well, about 10 o'clock, they begin to unlock, and we talk to the secretary of the court, and we had a letter from our lawyer and whatnot. But I tell you what, it's not too good a feeling to be in front of all them. And here they come out with these English, it's English country. They had on their powdered wigs. I mean, look like George Washington, except there's a black George Washington, amen. But they had on their powdered wigs, and you don't know what's going to happen. I mean, listen, there's not even a phone within 500 miles of where we're at. If you want to go talk to somebody, you just hope you can catch them. Because if they ever get out of their driveway before you get there, you don't know where they're going to be. It'd be like hunting a needle in a haystack. Well, we went in there, and the judge, God touched the judge's heart that day because of that letter from that lawyer. And he finally looked at that and he said, how in the world did they get this done Saturday, last Saturday? You can't get nothing done in Nigeria in less than 30 days. He had more sense than some of them did. And he said, we'll put this court off to such and such a year in the year of our Lord. powdered wigs and all. And I'll tell you it wasn't too good a feeling to sit there. And of course the other, the guy that was, so what the guy had done, he'd surveyed a bunch of property and said we authorized it. He'd had a van given to us. He said it was, bought it because we authorized the van. Had names on the side and everything. Well, I mean, if somebody comes up, a carpenter or a contractor comes up, and the time before what had happened was, he said, I'm gonna get you a van. What would you have said if he'd said, I'm gonna get you all a van for this ministry? Well, you said what I just said, I think. Amen. Amen. I didn't know that meant I was authorizing him to get a van. Amen. But that's what he took it. And when we got over there and surveyed the land, I know they didn't have all this modern technology stuff you've got now to survey, you know, where you can get set up in the middle and get points here and yonder, you know. I never saw a tree limb cut. I never saw a stake. I walked the property. 240 acres we were supposed to have. They'd already started building the house, building. So they carried us to court for $125,000, but we got by. But what I'm saying, it wasn't a good feeling to walk into that courtroom, total stranger, not knowing what's going to happen. not knowing whether they were going to haul me off to the paddy wagon and put me in jail. And there wasn't no way of calling anybody and saying, help, I need help. You say, call me if you need me. There wasn't no way to call y'all. And of course, y'all wasn't in the picture then, but you know what I'm saying, we was totally there. And in fact, the guy that did it and put off the court, I was getting ready to leave the country and I found out he'd come to try to keep me from getting out of the airplane. and run over somebody and killed him and he never made it. You say, boy, that's bad. Well, I tell you, God's in control, amen. You just have to see that country, people walking down the road on Everside. If you was going here to Draftenville, you'd pass three or 400 people walking down the side carrying 150 pound on their head, the women, and the men doing nothing, amen. Some of you like to live there, wouldn't you? Well, what I'm saying, who wants to stand before the court? Does it bother you to get a summons to the court? I tell you what, I don't even like to get a R.R.' 's paper. I don't even know what's going to be inside. I don't even like it, because you don't know what you're facing in this world we're living in. But think about the great white throne of judgment. And that's where all are going to have to stand. He said it's so awesome that heaven and earth fled away from it. In other words, it caused it to stop, in other words, because of the great white throne of judgment. Who's there? The saints of God's not there, but all the lost. And those whose name are not in the book of life will be cast in the lake of fire. The Bible says that. In other words, he shows you there was an opportunity if you had just responded to the light God gave you because you didn't make hell except for the devil and his angels. He didn't make hell for you, but there was no choice when you reject the light God so graciously and gloriously gave you. And therefore, but what about now? Listen, your name is in the Lamb's book of life. In the book of life, okay? It's in there. If you've reached the knowledge of accountability, that name is subject to being blotted out, like He said in Revelation chapter 3. But one of these days, and I pray it'll be soon, if you'll continue, God said in His Word, if you'll continue, you shall know the truth. And whenever you know the truth, that's how intimacy with our Lord, that means at that point your name will be laminated with the blood, it'll be permittized never to be blotted out, that book. And he said, then I can show you, but that book will be there to show theirs where their name could have been had they not rejected light. So today I beg you, I beg you, stand where you need to stand, be what you need to be, and thank God for what little light you have and ask God to give you more light, give you an ear to hear. And don't reject that little tug at the heart He gives you. Let Him keep tugging. I mean, what I'm saying, respond to it. Cry out and say, Lord, I don't understand it. I mean, I've been deceived so much in the past. Help me, Lord. Just get honest with yourself. Lord, I know that little nagging doubt that's come there. There's got to be something to it. You cry out. Somewhere along the way, God will show you that you can be included if you continue. Amen. That's what it is. That's the hope, give you hope tonight. John's already saw it. But all whose name was not permittized by the blood in the Lamb's book of life be cast into the lake of fire where the beast and the false prophet and the devil are. Forevermore. Somebody said, oh, I'll just go to hell with my friends. There won't be no friends there. There won't be no friends there. There won't be no friends. He said, well, my family will be there. They'd say right now, if they could cry back, they'd say, hey, listen to truth. Respond to light. Mamas would say, son, daddy, children, daughters, don't listen to what I told you. Listen to what God's telling you. Let Him do a work in your heart and carry you through, because they'd want that more than anything else. May the Lord help us to respond to light and continue in His Word. And the promise is you shall know the truth. And I'm looking for one day God to give you that promise. If you hadn't already got it, God will give it to you. And when He does, just tell me, I got it, I got it, I got it. Whatever promise it is. I like it, amen. That's all we know to do is just keep on keepin' on till the job's done, amen. Till the last one's in and then we'll all be there in that first resurrection, blessed and holy in the first resurrection. You don't have to be in the second. Or we'll be there in judgment. Not in judgment, but be there as witness to those that's judged. But may God help us to respond to life, continue in his word, and expect him to do what he said. And he will. speak to our hearts, give us the grace we need, let no one quench your spirit. We'll praise you, thank you for what light we have. Lord, it may be obscured by much darkness and much flesh and much preconceived ideas. Oh Lord, I pray that you'd just help us to junk all that. Get those things out of the way that each person in this building tonight might get honest about their real need and Lord, watch you do that work in their heart as they continue in your word. you promised that group that day and they didn't respond, they didn't obey the light, they rejected what you said. Help no one to reject tonight, but help all receive truth tonight and walk in it and get honest with themselves, honest with you and expect great work to be done in their days ahead that their name will be laminated in the blood, permetized in the Lamb's book of life, never to be erased and we'll thank you for what you do for we ask it in for His sake we pray.
