James 1.27, religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this, to look after orphans and widows. And I want to think about children, orphans. There are about 1.2 million kids under 18 in America who are either runaway, homeless, and basically they don't have those parents in place to love them and nurture. There's an estimated 300,000 in America under 18 who are involved in some way in commercial sex trade. There's also an estimate that almost 2 million children under 18 worldwide are involved in human trafficking and are victims there. and as young as six years old, and a victim again. And even a child can make a pimp with human sex trafficking anywhere between $150,000 to $250,000 a year. This is hideous, it's a crime, and it's so prevalent. It's not just overseas, it's also in America. And so often it jumps from the internet to a hotel. What do we do with this kind of tragedy? How do we care for these kids? Today what you could do would you make yourself available to? with courage to help these children. And we know that the Father is pleased and he doesn't want these children to be taken advantage of, but instead to be set free and cared for. And that is pure and faultless religion.
