Good morning everyone. It's the 15th of July, halfway through the month. It's Monday. Going on noon here in Pineville, Missouri. I want to talk about, this morning, my response to the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. There's been a lot of pontification about what's happened since people's response to this attempted assassination. I've heard a lot of really crazy ideas being purported about it. I'm not going to go into all those pontifications. What I am going to say is that Like I say almost every time I come on air is that God works all things after the counsel of his own will. You say, are you saying it was God's will that Trump was shot? Yes, I'm saying it was God's will that Trump was shot or Trump wouldn't have been shot. Was it God's will that Trump survived? Yeah. If the bullet had penetrated an inch in either direction, he probably would have died. What was the purpose of God allowing Trump to be shot? Now that's a really good question. What if Biden had been shot? What would we be saying about it? What if Biden had been shot in the lid? Would we say that God protected Biden? God certainly didn't protect that fellow that died. As a result of this young man shooting, trying to kill Trump. A man died and two people were seriously injured. We read in 1 Corinthians 2, 1 and 2, I exhort therefore that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men. And it continues in verse 2, "...for kings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior." Well... You know... You know... Donald Trump. Every time in the past, and I don't know what he'll do now. This week, of course, is the Republican National Convention. It'll be interesting to see how he comes across. In the past, he's been very cocky. He's beat his chest. He's shook his fist in the air and said, fight, fight, fight. And he is very, very adamantly expressed all the good he did for the country and all the good he's going to do for the country by making America great again. And he has, now I want to go on record saying, I am not a Trump supporter and I'm not a Biden supporter. You say, well how can you be a Christian and not vote? I have a question for you. How can you be a Christian and vote for either one of these scoundrels? How can you be a Christian and vote for either one of these scoundrels? You know? But anyway, I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. I am a Christian. But we don't look to our answers in men. The Bible says put no confidence in princes. A lot of people are putting their confidence in Joe Biden. A lot of people are putting their confidence in Donald Trump. A lot of people are putting their confidence in you know, certain Congress people, Marjorie Taylor Greene, or Lindsey Graham, or Jim Jordan, or Stefanik, or whoever it is. And today, you know, Trump's going to announce his Vice President, whether it'll be Marco Rubio or Dr. Bing Carson or Tracy Gabbard or whoever it is, you know. But that's not going to change the course of this country, one person, any more than Trump is going to change the course of this country or Biden is going to change the course of this country. God is orchestrating all things that come into pass. And you cannot thwart what God has decreed. And so all of those people that are going to these rallies and getting all pumped up and saying that you can make a difference by your actions and all this stuff, they're just deceived. And by the way, the founding of America was not based upon Christian principles. It was based upon primarily Masons. Patrick Henry, when he was riding the horse, give me liberty or give me death, just left a Masonic meaning. The Declaration of Independence isn't Christian. We're not endowed by our Creator with certain enabled rights, the pursuit of happiness. God doesn't owe anyone anything. The only one that has been blessed are those who have been chosen in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world and have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. These people that are going around shaking their fists saying, I have the Bill of Rights. I have my rights. I have a right to pursue happiness. That's kind of the way Trump comes across, isn't it? Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye. Look at all the things I have done. Isn't that what Nebuchadnezzar said? And Biden talks about how he was going to stay in the race. And he doesn't even know who his vice president is. He calls his vice president Trump. And he calls the president, uh, Swolensky, Putin. Putin. What a mixed up, mixed up mess we've got ourselves into. But God has ordained it all to show His power, His glory, His might. So anyway, that's what's on my mind regarding this attempted assassination of Donald Trump. It was all ordained by God himself. May the good Lord be with you today is my prayer. God bless.
