What a Difference a Day Makes

Genesis 1 is not just the account of God's creation of the world and universe, but the foundation for the rest of Scripture. The basis on which you accept the veracity of the first 11 chapters of the Bible is a determining factor in your acceptance of the rest of God's Word and your faith in general. We must accept the Creation account, including its six-day timeline, literally in order to maintain a proper approach to God's truth as a whole.
