Mark chapter number 5. I'm going to start reading in verse number 23 if you'd like to stand with us to honor the reading of the Bible. Mark chapter number 5 and verse number 23. Mark chapter number 5 and verse number 23. The Bible says this, And besought him greatly, talking about this is Jairus, And he's talking to the Lord. Mark 5, verse 23, And it besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death. I pray thee, come, and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed, and she shall live. And Jesus went with him, and let people follow him, I'd like to preach on this thought. I don't know whether I'd like to call it, my little daughter, or maybe even you could call it, stop breaking line. Anybody ever been in line before where somebody broke line in front of you? And you might not have said nothing, but you're sitting there under your breath going, what are they doing? You could have been a ventriloquist. How many of you know what a ventriloquist is? You could have had your little dummy sitting on your hand right here. Your lips would have never moved. You're just sitting there going, what are they doing? Everything else. Timing helps everything, don't it? What are they doing? Breaking line. Getting in front of you before you get done what you need done. Before you can purchase what you need to purchase. Before you can enter into where you're wanting to go. Breaking line. Father, I pray you'd help me for just a little while. Lord, I sure do need you. And I want to start off by saying I sure do love you. And I thank you, Lord, for that song they sang. I'm glad that your goodness keeps running after me. And Lord, I do love your voice. Lord, I love it when you speak to our hearts. And I'm just praying, Lord, this morning that you do that very thing. Speak to our hearts. And let us see what it is that you have for us. God, fill us up real good and use us for your glory. And Father, we will thank you for all that you do. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen and amen. Thank you. And you can be seated. Thank you. Thank you. I want to go back to chapter 5 and verse number 22. The Bible says, And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus, by name, And when he saw him, he fell at his feet. He came to the Lord because he had a great, great need. Anybody ever done that in here? You knew you had a need. You couldn't tell nobody about it. You didn't really want to share it with nobody. But it was a great need. And it doesn't say that he went to somebody else. It doesn't say that he went to the synagogue. Even though he was a ruler of the synagogue. It doesn't say that he went to one of the priests of the synagogue. Even though he no doubt being a ruler, probably had a little bit of clout to go in and talk to people inside the synagogue. But he said that he went to Jesus, since when he saw Him, he fell at His feet. He's doing this on behalf of his daughter. You ever had a prayer request? Heavily burdened? I'm just thinking about this lady this past week with this baby that we've been praying for. I've got all ideas. I've got all ideas. If you'd have had an opportunity to talk to her about the Lord and what God was maybe trying to do, not that we would know. But in just in pursuit, if you will, of trying to comfort her, I believe you'd have her undivided attention. We was talking, we was talking maybe in the office just for a minute this morning, just for a minute. This little baby, this baby, I believe, was it four months old? How old? Yes. Fifteen months old. I thought she looked older than four months. 15 months old. If you just ask that baby, what's going on in your life right now? She wouldn't know. She wouldn't know. As a matter of fact, if she would have been able to talk and carry on a good conversation, we'll say, maybe even at the age of one of these young men sitting on the front row right here. If you were to ask one of them, if they'd been going through that, what's going on? Why is your liver not working right? If they would have known that it was their liver. They would have probably all said the same thing. We don't know. We don't know. But the mama knew. And the daddy knew. And the doctors knew. And regardless of how bad they wanted to speed this up, they had to wait. They had to wait. They're waiting specifically on somebody. Well, how many times in my life have I been going through something and I'm saying, Lord, what are you doing? I'm saying, Lord, Why is it happening like this right now? Lord, why are you not doing something? All along, God the Father knew. God the Son knew. God the Holy Ghost knew. But I couldn't tell you what's going on. I couldn't tell you why my children was hurting. I couldn't tell you why my wife was weeping. I couldn't tell you why I was facing things that, as a pastor, I watched Brother Josh this week, and you talk about a young man that was stressed out. He was stressed out, wasn't he? I mean, he was stretched like a banjo string. You hear me? I mean, so what in the world was worrying him? Well, none of the toilets in the church worked. I mean, it was so bad, there was backup even into the water fountain. You said, I'd have left there. Sure you would have. But if you were willing to wait and see, get something from God, you'd have hung out. We have gotten so spoiled. You know what helped a lot of us Christians? Have to go through basic training, wouldn't it? I mean, whenever you just feel like, I can't go no more. Run! I'm telling you, I'm just so tired, I can't come back tonight. Run! You don't say another word. You just run. You just do push-ups. You do pull-ups. You just better do whatever I say until I say stop doing it. Would that not help us? Would that not help us? You know, I'm an old boss man. I used to just sort of just a little bit dislike him when I was out of church. I was out of church, but I disliked him. I'm going to go ahead and tell the truth. I talked about him. In my mind, in my mind, I'm thinking, you know what, if I catch him off somewhere. I know ain't none of y'all ever thought like that. I know you ain't never thought like that. I know y'all ain't. Y'all got good Christian minds. I even told my dad one day, by the time of what I was thinking, he says, son, can I give you a piece of advice? I said, sure. He's a Marine. So he's a Marine. This is his advice. You better leave them old men alone. He said, they're going to be a whole lot tougher than what you think. Who? Who's he talking about? This man come to Jesus. And all he knew was his daughter is dying and literally laying there at the point of death. At that point. At the point. That means right at the edge. That means you're going to be surprised if she lives another hour. You're going to be surprised if she makes another ten minutes. I told them the other night, I preached on this up in Kentucky, and I said, I believe that He came to Jesus one or two ways. I didn't mention this here when I preached the other night. I believe He came to Jesus one or two ways. I believe He even came hunting. because of the severity of the problem. Or he came in there so humbly that him getting down at Jesus' feet is what he said he did right down there. He didn't have no problem. He was probably almost already down that low. He was so broken over the situation. But now, but now, but now when he gets to speak out, now the situation is all about my little daughter. And he's going to exercise his faith and show the Lord Jesus Christ, how much He believes. Let's look and see what happens right here. I believe that the Lord has given us something right here that maybe me and you can glean from. I want you to see this, number one. He says this in verse 23, "...and besought Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death. I pray Thee, come and lay Thy hands on her." I like to say, number one, He thought that the only way the Lord could heal her was to be present. He thought the only way the Lord could heal her was to be present. I'm wondering if a lot of churches are thinking the same thing nowadays because the Lord may not see them in the church house and they're thinking they can't do nothing no more. But can I tell you this morning, He can do something in here whether you believe He's here or not. He can help wounded hearts. He can help broken hearts. He can help sick folks. You say, you believe in that healing stuff? Oh, I believe there's still a healer. I believe there's still a great physician. I believe His name's Jesus. I don't believe He's got a TV show. I believe His name is Jesus and I believe that if He really wants to touch somebody and heal somebody, He can do it. And he won't ask me. And he won't ask you. And he won't even give me an explanation on how he really did it. This man thought for sure he had to be at his house. But there was another man from Capernaum that had a servant that was sick. Matthew chapter 8 and verse number 8. This man's servant was sick and he asked him to help and he was servant. And he said, I'll be honest with you. He said, I don't believe you've got to come to my house. I believe that if you'll just speak the words, it'll be done. Some folk believe that Christ has got to be there, and some folk don't believe He's got to be there. Say, which one's right? Well, I believe this. It's according to your faith. It's according to your faith. Can I tell you this week, if you'd have told me on the way up there, Brother Leo, that we'd have seen what God was going to do this week, I'd have said my faith is not sufficient for that. If you'd have told me that God was going to do some of the things, Brother Jeff, that He literally just showed us He could do in helping people, I'd have said there ain't no way. I mean, that's just way too much. You're talking about every service. Every service. Can I tell you something real strange? I've been in three camp meetings in the last month and a half. Well, since the last week of September, give or take so then. And every one of those camp meetings, it's literally been out of the bank. I'm telling you, in Waycross, at Swamp Road Baptist, every night, every night, it was just completely out of the bank. Then we went down to Lake, to Boziff Leadbetters, down in Bushnell, Florida. for a couple, two or three days was there? Every service, every preacher just done an amazing job. Go to Kentucky, every service, an amazing job. What was it? You know what I think it was? God let us go to a place where people want Him. Let me ask you, did you want Him this morning? Did you come looking for the Lord this morning? Did you come expecting God to do something for you this morning? Did you come hungering and thirsting after righteousness? Did you really come? Hey, did you come running to the Savior and say, Lord, my little daughter! I mean, I've got to have some help, Lord. I've got to have some help. Don't depend on Brother Edward. Don't depend on the pastor. Don't depend on the preacher. Jesus thought for some reason he had to be there. But yet here this man is and he's crying out and he's asking God to do something. I said I want to preach on my little daughter. Then I said I wanted to maybe just preach on Breaking Line. Because right in the midst of all of this, I mean, the Lord is following him. The Bible says in verse 24, And Jesus went with him, and much people followed him and thronged him. It does not say he got there. It does not say that they made it to Jairus' house. But in the midst of the travel, in the midst of going, hey, in the midst of getting, hey, come back here with me. Get off, get off, get off. Get your mind off your job just a minute. Quit thinking about your job. I mean, for just a few minutes, quit thinking about the Jaguars for just a minute. Quit thinking about Georgia. They didn't play this weekend, did they? Florida didn't either. Don't worry about them. They won't worry about them. They'll play next week, and then some people are going to come in here licking the wounds. And then some people come in here boasting. But until then, stay with me. Get with me. Get with me. Get with me. Get with me. Get with me. Get with me. Get with me. Get with me. Get with me. Jesus went with him. This man had a problem. His daughter's dying. His daughter's dying. And it meant a lot to the man. He loved his daughter. He loved his child. He said, Lord, please, please come, come to my house. She's at the point of death. And in the midst of the travel, here comes another person with another need. Oh, I'm glad I've got a God. That while He's working over here on this one, He can be working over here on this one. While he's fixing problems at this house, he can fix problems at this house. While he's saving this one over here, he can be saving this one over here. I'm glad that he's not limited. I'm glad that he's not limited to one. Hey, if he was limited to a certain area, he would not be God. He would not be as holy. He would not be as righteous. He would not be powerful. But I'm telling you this morning, in other churches, God's a helping people. In other churches, they're singing praise unto Him. In other churches, they're talking about Him. In other churches, they're inviting Him. In other churches, they're asking Him to do something. And in other churches, He's saving sinners. Well, that's what He's come to do. The Bible said He's come to seek and to save that which is lost. He comes. to help you if you're hungry and come to give you a drink if you're thirsty. Right in the midst, right in the midst of all this travel, in the midst of all this travel, here comes a woman with an issue of blood. She didn't say nothing to him, but her mind's made up. I'm going to tell you this this morning. I didn't have to call you, Brother Darnell. I didn't do it. to let you know my mind was made up that I was coming to church because I wanted to meet with the Lord this morning. But you knew it. You knew it. And I knew you knew it. You knew. I knew that you had the same plans in your heart. I mean, I did. I spoke with some people last night and I talked with some folk. Brother John, I said, I can't wait till church tomorrow. I'm excited about being here. I like coming to church. I like singing songs. I don't care what you got on. I don't care how much money you got. I don't care what you drive. I don't care where you live. I don't care about all that kind of stuff. That don't impress me. What impresses me is the fact that we've come together. Somebody help me. We've come together to meet with the Lord. And He's worthy of all honor and praise and glory. And if I'm not giving Him that, I'm not doing my... I'm not doing my job. Something distracted me. Something distracted me. I was watching last night. things and get distracted. You know what most of the time you can get distracted? You know where you get distracted at? In a fight. In a fight. I bet they told y'all that. I bet they told y'all. Y'all better be focused on what you're doing. Keep your mind on what you're doing. Keep your mind on your job. You don't keep your mind on your job when them grinding discs cut you in half. You'll get, I see, there's a boy I worked with one time, he's working at the steel place where he's working, and he wasn't paying attention. And we had a little thing that was called a press brake. And he was trying to punch some holes. It had a hole puncher on it. And he was trying to punch some holes into some angle iron. And what he did, Brother Gary, was he let the control piece, the pedal, stay over there. Where was that? And so he's over here on this other end, and he's lining that piece of angle up in there to push it through there. So he couldn't reach it. And instead, turned this loose and pulled in that piece back there where he could reach it comfortably, where he could do his job adequately. He held that piece of angle, and I'm telling you, Brother Tracy, He reached as far as he could go. That turned his hand. And whenever that five-eighths punch come down, it come right down through his knuckle. You know what happened? He got distracted. It was a fight to try to reach him. When we talk about fights, we're not always talking about a one-on-one fight with somebody. It's a real fight. It's a real fight to live the Christian life. Somebody help me. It's a real fight to live a holy life. Hey, hey, it's a real fight. Oh, y'all ain't going to agree with this. You ain't going to agree with this because y'all's too holy for me. Y'all just way on up there. I don't even know why y'all talk to me sometimes. It's a real battle. It's a battle. It's a battle in the Christian life. Nothing to get so mad. You just don't want to cuss sometimes. Well, I'm glad there's one that agrees with me. The rest of them are going to be hypocrites. They ain't going to say nothing but darn that. I just come on over here and preach to you. Amen. Thank you. I'm just kind of right and you know it. There's times, there's times in this Christian life that we don't know what to do. I see things, I see things. I seen the thing on TV this morning. And my wife, she ain't the Holy Ghost, OK? My wife, she is not the Holy Spirit. But sometimes she says some good stuff that I think come from Him. Ever? All the time? She said, all the time. He said, never. OK. I don't know. They had a thing on TV this morning. They had this thing on TV this morning about Pullman. About Pullman. McCord, all the pieces right here. And this thing was on TV. Brother Gary, he was advertising. I think it was a hit. I'm not 100% on that now. I'm not 100%. But I told my wife, I said, if it was a he, I wish he'd act like a he. I mean, I'm a he. I feel like I owe that to society to let society know I'm a he. Now, my wife's a she. Boy, I'm real happy about that. I'm real happy about it. You know what I mean? Are you a she? Do yourself a favor. Go all the way through life and always treat yourself like a she. You'll never confuse other people. Well, in my midst, in my fight, in my dealings with trying to be a Christian, I failed. I said, I mean, I'm standing there and I'm looking at it. Dear God, what is this thing? My wife said, I believe what she said came from on high. My wife said, probably somebody that needs the Lord. I said, see ya. I'm gone. Over and out. But how true that was. This man's daughter's dying. His daughter's at the point of death. The last thing he wants is the Lord to be distracted. Anybody ever been to the hospital and had to sit and wait in the emergency room? And wait. And wait. And somebody come in behind you and they call them in ahead of you? I know y'all getting where I'm at now. And you said, hey, they come in after me. Or maybe you were sitting at Longhorns with your group of 99. And you done told them, no, no, we all got to be at the same table. And four come in, and they took them right on in. You know, they probably knew something you didn't know. And the Lord knew something that this man didn't know. The Lord knew that He can take care of this woman while He's still on the way. While He's still on the way. I kind of pictured it something like this. I don't have a garment like I believe the Lord. I believe the Lord would have had a long garment on. And if I know the Lord like I think I do, He saw this woman's needs a long, long time back. Twelve years she had it. In 12 years, here's what the Bible says, that she, they took, they robbed her, they took everything she had. She spent all trying to get help. I didn't realize this, I've read a little bit about history, and they said this, the doctors during that time had so much medicines that what they tried to do was they tried to give you different medicines to take, whether it be pills or liquids, to make whatever's wrong stop. I said, there ain't nothing changed. It's the same way today. That's why I took, I left this morning, took about 10 pills. I'd like to go to the doctor one time and just hear him say, man, I tell you, things is looking good. I think I'm going to take you off some of that medicine. If I do that, I'm going this month. Y'all hear me shout. Next week, I'm going. Next week. Y'all hear me shouting. Wherever you live at, you'll hear me shouting. Woo! I hope it's expensive when he takes me off of. The Lord knew. And the Lord knows what you need this morning. And you may not think you need nothing. But James said that if I'd draw mine to God, He'd draw mine to me. So it's obvious, it's obvious, Billy Boyle, us getting closer to the Lord will be a help. Could it be that as he's walking through, going through that place, he's already seen this woman. He asked a question. You've read this. He said, who touched me? And the disciple said, the crowd, the crowd. There's so many people here. They throne thee. I mean, they're pushing and shoving and touching. And there's some people touching you. And they don't mean it. It's a crowding. You've been some places? I've been places like that. And while he's going along that way, he could have went, hear me, he could have went out of reach of her. But he didn't. He came within reach of her. I know what you're thinking, but all she touched was the hem of his garment. But he could have made himself distant enough that she couldn't have reached his garment. You know what we do sometimes? We make it so that people can't get to him. Really, really, we've made our salvation, we've made our Christianity, we've made ourselves so high and holy, a sinner look at us, and they say, there ain't no way, there ain't no way I can get to where you are. And our only response is, you're right. Maybe not out loud. I told my wife, I said I was looking, I had a little lingering, a little longing yesterday for some Chinese food. Hadn't had none in a while. I like it. I like it. And I went in there. I went in there by myself. She tried to encourage me to call Cannon. I said, Cannon's probably playing ball. He ain't got time for Chinese food. Was I right? Oh, for the happy days when I get a new body and nobody mumbles in my ears no more. Somebody help me. Oh, happy day. a new body, I'll be able to hear. What would your dual instructor say if you mumble? Yes, you can go, mm, mm, mm, mm. Speak up. Thank you. Thank you. Finally, somebody cooperative. Thank you. I prayed for this day. And I'm sitting there eating by myself with Tyler, and I see this family come in, an older gentleman, a young man, a young lady, a couple of kids. And I don't know them, didn't know nothing about them. But I do know this, they needed to be in church today. Today. And I finished eating. And I got up and was fixed to go pay my bill, and I walked past them. And I had a shirt on that said Camden Baptist Church. And when I walked past them, I turned around and went back. And I said, hey, I don't know if y'all got a church that y'all attend regularly and faithfully, but I sure wish you'd come visit with us. We'd love to have you. I said, and I promise you, we'll make you feel welcomed. I want you to feel welcome today. Thank you for coming. Thank you for coming. Thank you for coming. Thank y'all for coming today. I mean that. I mean that. Thank you for being here. Thank you. Thank you for coming great. Thank y'all for coming from Folkston. Thank you for coming from Ulee. Thank you for coming from Fernandina. Thank you for coming from Jacksonville. Thank you for coming. Thank you for coming back. Thank you. Thank you for coming back. I want you to come back some more. Thank you all for coming. Thank you for being faithful. Thank you for fighting the storms and being faithful and coming to church. Thank you. Thank you for these 20 years plus worth here. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for coming. I mean that. You say, but that don't mean much to a lot of people. Oh, we're not looking for numbers. We're looking for people to get saved. And I'm not saying just because you're here this morning, you need to get saved. You might, and I don't know. But I know one thing, if you ain't saved, you sure do need to be somebody to say amen. I'm real interested in people going to heaven. I'm real interested in people going to heaven. She has interrupted a man that cared about his daughter because she's at the point of death. She just didn't know that God could take care of something in his right hand and something in his left hand, too. And this morning, I don't know what you're going through. Kristen, whoever, come to the piano, please. Whatever you're going through, whatever your need is, whatever it is you're longing after the Lord for, God knows how to do it. And while he's helping this young man over here with whatever his needs is, whatever he's wanting, praying for Brother Scotty's church, he can help my mom. To him, somebody 95 years old has still got important prayer requests. To him, somebody 6 years old has still got important prayer requests. To him, there is no interruptions. But if I'd have been JR, if I'd have said, hey, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am, ma'am, you are breaking line. You don't know this, but my daughter's dying. There's going to be a day. There's going to be a day when y'all are going to be up there at the hospital. And you're going to call everybody you know, because your baby's going to be so sick. There's going to be a day. You've already seen some days that he's been sick. But there are going to be some times when the doctor says, we don't know, we've got to run tests. And them telling me that they've got to run tests don't help me a whole lot. I would rather me be there myself. Sister Pearl, I would rather it be me than to be my children. I walked into that church the other morning. You see, we don't always know what's going on in people's hearts. This man didn't know what this woman's problem even is. He don't even know she spent the last 12 years with an issue of blood. Can I tell you this? In the book of Leviticus, there was enough on that woman right there that she would be ostracized. She was to be put out of the sanctuary, out of the tabernacle. No association to be with her. Somebody say to me, if you read your Bible just a little bit, Leviticus chapter 3. I'm saying according to the scripture, she shouldn't have been in the middle of the road begging Jesus for help. But you know what the Lord didn't do? I know what you'd have done. I know what you'd have done. I know you. I know you old rascal. You're just like me. We'd have jumped up. That'd have been our little daughter lying on the corner of the desk. We'd have jumped up and said, hey, hey, hey! You're breaking line! And besides that, you ain't even supposed to be in the midst of us! Because the law says... But you forgot when you was that begging sinner. Help me just a minute. You forgot when you was that begging sinner. You still ain't got it. You forgot when you was a begging sinner. A sinner headed to hell. A sinner knowing that if you didn't get saved, you was going to spend eternity separated from God, separated from family, separated from hope, separated from comfort, separated from peace and eternity separated, separated, separated. You forgot that. You forgot that. But I hope I can make it fresh in your mind this morning. While you're on your way to hell, well, I can't speak to you. But on January the 27th, 1972, in Callahan, Florida, you know where Callahan is? At the fairgrounds. You know where that is? In the agricultural building. You know where that is? On a Thursday night. I'm glad you know where all that is. Amen. We're getting it off good right here. On a Thursday night, the Holy Ghost of God come by where I was and rescued me. And while He saved me, there was a missionary somewhere in China. There was a missionary somewhere in Mexico. There was a missionary somewhere in Thailand. There was a missionary somewhere in the Caribbean Seas. There was a missionary in Grenada. There's missionaries in Russia, thank God. I knew one that was there. There's missionaries in Korea. There's missionaries in Ireland. There's missionaries in Iceland. There's missionaries in Canada. Tommy Tillman built a hospital and a church in the Gobi Desert. And on a Thursday night while I was being rescued, somebody was breaking the line. And it didn't bother the Lord. It didn't bother Christ not one little bit. He just went ahead and saved me and went ahead and helped them. Only when we get to heaven will we find out what He really did on the very day that you got saved, how He was helping other people along the way. Thank God! Thank God! Thank God! He's a God that's able to take care of our every need. You know what I found out about Him taking care of my needs? He gives me peace in it. He gives me joy in it. Now those things that I think are needs that He really ain't involved in, He don't give me no peace in all that. I worry about that. I worry about that stuff. You got stuff hanging over your head you're worried about? I'd check and see if God was really in it. Because you can still do a lot of stuff in flesh. But this morning, let me ask you this here. Has somebody been breaking the line in front of you? Have you been trying to get God and couldn't get to Him? Has somebody been breaking the line? And the only thing you saw was somebody jump in front of you. Can I say this? Quit looking at them. Quit looking at them. And just keep on going where you're going. If you want to get on up there and pray, go on up there and pray. He's listening. David said he inclined his ear to me. He said he heard my voice. The Bible says the eyes of the Lord are in every place. Behold the evil and the good. He's looking at what I'm going through. He sees where I'm at. He sees my hurt. He sees my hunger. And he might not fix it right now. But you know what I'm real glad of, Sister Jennifer? He sees. that I want Him to fix it all. He just sees that. And if He sees that, He's got something in mind. He's got something in mind. He's got some kind of fixin' thinking about. I say, let's just let Him do it. Let's just let Him do it. Let's get out of His way and let Him do it. He don't need me. He don't need you to fix somebody else's problems. He don't need me to fix somebody else's problems. I mess their problems up worse than what they are. I don't know how to speak with comfort and peace like he does. Yesterday, I'll give you this and we'll stand together. Brother Josh, I'm telling you, he was stressed. He was stressed over the cost of this meeting. John Dorsey got up there. A lot of y'all know about John Dorsey. Well, John just got himself an offering to pay for the meeting. I said, what a blessing. You say, what do you mean what a blessing? Well, how many of y'all got to watch the meeting online? Anybody? Anybody? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. 8 people. And it's still there. You can go back and watch it. But 8 was watching. And then there was 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of us there. We got to be a part of that. So I told him about it, Gary. I said, I'm going to send you a little bit of money. It ain't much. It's just enough to help on the meeting a little bit. So we done got it in the mail. I could have said that and procrastinated, and he'd been wringing his hands, saying, wow, I wonder if he's. Their toilet, their drain system, Messed up. An unusual pump I ain't never seen. This is a slump pump like I ain't never seen. And it's extremely expensive. And somebody come along there and said, what you gonna need gonna cost you about $6,000. I said, what? I said, whoa, pump the brakes. Go get Joe Chastity. He went and looked at it. He said, nah, that's foolish. But what they needed was an expensive pump. And here's what the people told them, but it wasn't near that much. Here's what the people told them. They said, take the one out that you bought for temporary, and I'll give you money back on it. And then you buy the one that you do need. And so with that said, Brother John said, My problem was the money they were going to give me back to put on that new pump, they were going to reimburse and they'd have to write a check and it goes through the mailing process and dah, dah, dah, dah, dah. Long time. I said, Lord, I don't know what we're going to do. One of the men, one of the men that works there, Caleb, you know who Caleb was? You know who Caleb was? Young guy. Want to try to grow a beard really quick? He tried. He tried. He tried. He tried. God bless him. He tried. Precious young man. He said, I'm going to ask my boss man if my boss man will let me put this on the company credit card. Can I tell you, if Caleb would have had the money, Caleb would have bought it. The man put it on his credit card. They bought it. Now he owes the company $500 more. They was in there talking to somebody, Bobby Greer or somebody on the phone. Said, a lady come by the church. He walked in, he knew her. Said, Bud Josh, you got a second? I want to talk to you. I had people tell me all the time, I want to talk to you. And most of the time, it ain't good news. But thank God for the days that it is. She said she walked in there. She said, I've been driving up and down this road. I don't know how many times I've passed it today. God's told me to do something. And I just hit it. And said she's squalling. Said she's crying. She said, the Lord just laid on my heart and gave you $500. I don't know if you need it or not, but I just want you to know. Said she's crying her eyes out. I said in my office when He told me that, Brother Jeff, you know what I did? I went crying. I said, why would you go to cry? Because I was just thanking God for being God. I was thanking God that whenever somebody does break line, it don't matter. In their eyes, this woman, this woman, this little girl had just been sick for a little while. But this woman's been sick 12 years. In my eyes, in your eyes, they're both sick. And my eyes and your eyes, they both come to the Savior. No greater place. This morning, you got a need? You got a need? I don't know what you need. I don't know what you need. I'm glad they got your house rebuilt. I'm glad you're back in the home. Brother Darnell, I'm glad you're here in church this morning sitting in front row. Sister Samantha, I'm glad you're doing good. I'm glad you're in church, and I'm glad He's sitting right there beside you. I mean that. There ain't no better place in this world where He needs me this morning than in church. Somebody help me. I don't know what's going on. You've got a flat tire on your car. After church you can get it fixed, but He said, in the meantime, I'm going to church. He just left it. What do you need this morning? What do you need? Don't worry about somebody breaking the line in front of you. God's listening to both of you. He's listening to all three of you. He's got all four of you on the line. He's listening to all 20 of you. All 100 of us this morning. All 10 million of us have a way that we can get to God if we need to. Father, I pray this morning that You'd help us. Please. You know what the need is. You know what the need is, Lord. Please help us. And I pray, God, if there's one here today that needs You, God, how I do pray. I pray, Lord, that You would just God let our faith be exercised. Hebrews 11 says no faith is a substance of faith, hope for and evidence of faith not seen. Acts 20, 21 says testify both to the Jews and also to the Greeks. Repentance towards God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. We need to exercise our faith. I'll say this one and exercise your faith. Exercise your faith. You see I'm going through storms. James once said, knowing this, that the trine of your faith work in patience. Need some help this morning? Let's all stand together.
