Well, yeah, I've had people tell me I sound like Jeff Ables and I've had people say, had a lady visit our church a while back and said, you know, you sound like, and I said, don't say Jeff Ables. And she goes, no, you sound just like Bill Marshall. And I went, well, amen. And then somebody else said, you know, you sound a little like Dave McCracken. And I said, that's where I draw the line. Amen. I am very thankful that God brought us to Berean Baptist Church and I'm very thankful that I got to sit under men like Pastor Abels and I got to hear men preach like Sam Davison and Bill Marshall and Dave McCracken and and allowed those men to the preaching of God's word and being around those men to certainly encourage me and shape my life. And I'm thankful for that. I really am. And I think it really kind of goes right along with the message this morning because if there's anything we need, it's another generation of men of God that'll preach the word of God with that same kind of fire and that same kind of power of the Holy Ghost. And like Brother Marshall was preaching last night and preached about half my message, but you're gonna hear it again. So if you liked it, well, you'll like it this morning, but if you didn't like it, well, I'll just make you even more mad, but you'll get over it. 2 John tonight, or this morning, I wanna invite you to 2 John, and let's all stand in honor of God's word. In 2 John. And the Bible says the elder unto the well beloved, or I'm sorry, I'm in third John, that's a good way to start right there, amen. The elder unto the lady and her children whom I love in the truth and not I only but also they that have known the truth for the truth's sake which dwelleth in us shall be with us forever. Grace be with you, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father in truth and love. I rejoice greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth as we have received a commandment from the Father. And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. This is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment that, as ye have heard from the beginning, that ye should walk in it. It kind of seems like we've heard a theme a little bit about some of these things, haven't we? Truth and love. And John is writing this sister church, if you will, and they've received the truth. They know that Christ is the Savior, and he is encouraging them to stand in that truth and to grow in the love of Jesus Christ. You know, the reality is this. They're joined together. You cannot have one without the other. I would say to you that a church needs these characteristics. But I'd also say to you men of God need these characteristics. That as Jesus Christ came in truth and love, you and I ought to stand on the truth and manifest his love and preach his truth and preach his love. But in verse number seven he says this, for many deceivers are entered into the world who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. And so John warns them of those who are looking to deceive them and seduce them away from these things. And that's what I want us to look at a little bit this morning. I praise God for our country. I really do, I think all of God's men ought to because we have the freedom of religion. But you better understand something that freedom of religion not only allows for pure religion, it allows for false religion. And I'm gonna tell you something, we're not losing our guys today to persecution, we're losing them to deception. And I just wanna encourage you this morning, this still works. It really does. And if we'll just walk with God, and preach the truth of God's word, I'm telling you, people can still be saved and God can still build his church. So I'm gonna preach on the warning of seduction this morning, the warning of seduction. Father, thank you for the word of God, and Lord, thank you for men here Lord, I've certainly had an impact on my life and men that just getting to meet and Lord, I know that there are a lot of good men here and I praise God for that. But I also know, Lord, the things that we get hit with time and time again and the things that we are tempted with and the things that are looking to seduce us away from you and many we have lost because of that. And so, God, I just pray that you would use the message Encourage us to strengthen us in your word and remind us that Lord you are still in control, that your word still works, and if we'll just submit and do what it says, God, that's where your grace and your blessings and our joy, Lord, your joy might be full in us, and so bless the preaching, and God, again, I just ask you, God, fill me with the spirit of God. So thankful for the message that last night, and I needed it, I know there are many here that needed it, and God, I certainly want to be an example of what was preached last night, to just preach with your power, God, your grace, your love, your joy, just thankful for your blessings and how you would work in my life. And so God, use me this morning in Jesus' name, amen. You may be seated this morning. About a month ago, we were getting ready to start our Christian school there at Faith Baptist Church, and I always kid with the parents because it's getting about the middle of August, And all of the parents are excited to have the kids go back to school, but I'm more excited about college football. And I am from the panhandle of Florida, lower Alabama as we call it, and I'm a diehard Florida Gator fan. That's what I thought I'd get the response of right there. Amen. Oh, don't worry, I'm getting to Tennessee, hang on. But when we moved to Missouri back in 2002, we really didn't have any rivalries up here in the Midwest or anything like that, nobody to have fun with and talk a little smack to. This, of course, was before Missouri left the Big 12 and finally joined a real conference. Oh, get over it. But then the Lord led us to Berean Baptist Church. And the pastor was a Tennessee fan. And if you know anything about Florida and Tennessee, Florida hates Tennessee and Tennessee hates Florida. Amen. Amen. So I praise God we got Tim Tebow and we beat Tennessee every year while I was here. Life was good. But there was one time where the Abels family had us over for a meal and some fellowship one night and our daughter, our second daughter, Taylor, was I think probably around three or four years old, and preacher decided that she would probably fit into this Tennessee cheerleading outfit that he had bought for one of his daughters. I can't remember if it was Marie or Heather, and so he told Miss Robin to go in there and get the outfit out and put it on Taylor, and she comes out, and needless to say, words were exchanged. The feud began to worsen. Just got out of hand. In fact, it wasn't until, you know, listen, it's trying to teach her to sing Rocky Top. I almost vomited right there. I just, no, it's wicked. It's ungodly. Get that stuff off my girl. A couple of years later we found out she had some vision problems and we still blame it on that orange on that Tennessee cheerleading outfit. But you understand what he was trying to do. He was trying to seduce her. Bringing her over to the dark side. I'm going to tell you something, man. It's all fun and games when it's college football. It really is, because that's really not what's important. But it's another thing when it comes to this. And that's exactly what John is warning this church. And I do realize this epistle was written to a church. I believe that's who the elect lady is. I don't think John was writing his significant other. I believe it's talking about one of the Lord's churches. And that he's writing her and he's encouraging her. She's the bride, that she belongs to Jesus Christ. She doesn't belong to us. And she's to be the pillar and the ground of the truth. And so John is warning her that, listen, that Satan is going to do everything he can to come along and try to seduce her away from the one that she belongs to. And what did God, that church is today, would heed this warning? Because I'm telling you, every time I turn around, I'm hearing of some church that is changing. We had a couple visit a few weeks ago. They always come through Kansas City area and they stopped by our church and of course they had heard that Brother Watson had retired and so the church had a new pastor and they came in and heard the preaching of God's word and enjoyed the services and came back. that Sunday night, and we were visiting with them, and they were just so thankful that even though the church got a new pastor, that the doctrine had not changed, and the things of God had not changed, and they haven't painted the walls black, and hung a disco ball from the ceiling, and no, it's still about the Word of God, and the preaching of the Word of God is at the very center of it all, and they still have an invitation. Men, we better understand that this is a platform, this is a pulpit made of wood where the preaching of the Word of God is to sound forth. It is not a place where we entertain men. This is not a stage. And I don't understand why churches have changed, because the word of God hasn't changed. And Jesus Christ certainly hasn't changed. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever. And I know there are guys going, well, you know, that's what they, well, it's still true. But men, the reason that churches are changing is because men are changing. They're being deceived and they're moving away from the truth and moving away from the love that is in Jesus Christ. And as I already mentioned, as you begin to look at these first opening verses here, there is a connection between truth and love. And the reason there is a connection is because both of them are in Jesus Christ. And that's what he says there in verse three, grace be with you, mercy and peace from God the Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. You know, if there's one thing that you begin to notice when you study the first and second and third epistles here of John, there's a lot of commonality between those and what God would use him to pin in his gospel. And you can't help but to look at those things and recall what John would pin in John chapter one and verse one. In the beginning was the word. and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, and then in verse 14, and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. There can be no doubt that truth is the Word of God. What even Jesus would say in John 17, 17, sanctify them in thy truth, thy word is truth. And the fact that Jesus Christ came in the truth, it reminds us that of all the things we could use to validate that the word of God is truth, like historical accuracy and archeology and the list goes on and on and on, the greatest validation is Jesus Christ. Search the scriptures. For in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they which testify of me. Think not that I am come to destroy the law and the prophets. I come not to destroy, but to fulfill. You understand, he was born of a virgin. And he was born in Bethlehem and he is the lion of the tribe of Judah and the root and offspring of David. He is the lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. He died on the cross and was buried according to the scriptures. And he rose again according to the scriptures. I understand we could go on and on here, but the point is this, is that Christ himself validates that the word of God is truth, and it's not relevant truth. Well, that's what's truth to you, and that's not what's truth. No, no, no, friend. This is absolute truth, and it doesn't matter your culture, and it doesn't matter your creed, and it doesn't matter your country or your language. No, friend, the word of God is truth. It's still truth. And there certainly, as you go down here, you begin to see some things like the order for the believer. I mean, he makes it pretty clear that we're to receive truth. And that's the first thing that's to happen if we're going to manifest the love of Jesus Christ. You can't manifest the love of Jesus Christ if you don't first receive the truth of Jesus Christ. Probably explain why some people in churches today are so cantankerous and opposing to the word of God. Well, here's why, because they've never humbled themselves to it. And I would even say to you this, there's balance here for a church between truth and love. A church that emphasizes a tremendous amount of truth but never manifests the love of Jesus Christ, all you're gonna do is push them away from the gospel. But at the same time, a church that neglects the truth and emphasizes love, well that's not really love. because love without truth is not love. What kind of doctor would I be if I had patients that had a disease and I didn't want to tell them about it because I was afraid to hurt their feelings? And it's no different with the man of God and the church of God, friend, it's truth and there has to be a balance here because you understand that even Paul would say in 1 Corinthians 13 that love, it rejoiceth not in iniquity but rejoiceth in the truth. And for men to make an excuse today to compromise the word of God because they love people, well, you're not really loving them according to the Bible. But I also think this, that certainly in a preacher's meeting like this, we can make an application to truth reminds us that it does matter what we preach. Paul didn't just tell Timothy to preach. Though I love the word preach, he did say preach the word. be instant, in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. Doctrine are those teachings that are engulfed in truth which men of God are to preach and which we as Baptist men are to preach. You know, things like, well, this word is truth. And since we're all English-speaking people here, it's the preserved word of God for the English-speaking people, meaning the authorized King James Version of the Bible. And we're to preach things like Jesus Christ is the Messiah. He is God manifest in the flesh, and he is the only way of salvation, and works will not save a man and give him eternal life. For by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. And I realize that many of us understand that, but let me also make a case to say it's not easy believism either. Nowhere in the scriptures do you find someone repeating some sinner's prayer, but you sure see sinners humbling themselves and repenting and praying and calling on the Lord. Oh yeah, and I did say repent, didn't I? Yeah, because it's still part of the gospel. Yeah, man, yes, you understand that there's Holy Ghost conviction that's to take place as man realizes he is a sinner and the truth of God's word and he humbles himself and he turns from his sin and he turns from whatever it is he's trusting to give him eternal life and he comes to Christ and Christ alone. It is repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Absolutely. And praise God, anyone can be saved. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. And by the way, once a person is saved, they ought to follow Christ in baptism. It's not really an option, is it? And we Baptists ought to understand it's to be done with the proper mode, immersion, But I also want to say this, it ought to be done with the proper authority. And it ought to be done by an independent, fundamental, devil-hating, mission-minded, King James only, what was it, non-Calvinistic, non-characteristic, yeah, I like it. Amen, Baptist church, authority matters. My kids baptize one another in the pool all the time, but that don't mean I'm gonna accept it. It does matter. It matters because when you follow Christ in baptism, whatever that baptism is, you are aligning yourself with that doctrine, and I am not gonna allow someone that has a charismatic baptism, even though it's an immersion, to come into our church, and the next thing you know, they're teaching our juniors how they can lose their salvation. You understand that baptism is that protective guard around the church that keeps false doctrine from coming in and would to God, men would stand on those things today. I still believe in Baptist baptism. And that ordinance was given to the Lord's churches and we are part of that lineage. That people that stayed true to truth. down through the ages, and we didn't come out of some reformation, and we're not Protestants, we are Baptists. And I like what Brother Leon Gray used to say. You may not be able to see the chain all the way down through there, but honey, you can shake it on one end and see it rattle on the other. By the way, we ought to know what a church is. It's not some universal invisible body that we're all spiritually baptized into. Uh-oh. No, it's a local visible assembly of baptized believers that are constituted together to carry out the great commission. And said, church, oughta stand closed on the Lord's Supper. I like when I went and met with Brother Watson and was getting ready to, or he asked me, he said, do you have any questions about the church? And of course, my first two questions were about the ordinances. And I said, are you Baptist? I mean, you just receiving Baptist baptism, is that right? And he said, yes, sir, Baptist with a capital B. And I said, well, what about the Lord's Supper? And he said, we're closed with a capital D. No further questions. Men, you understand that the purposes of the Lord's Supper is twofold. It's not just for us as God's people to examine ourselves with Him, but it's also for churches to come together and to examine themselves between one another. and if you open it up, then you lose that second purpose that Christ intended for his churches to have. You understand that baptism is that gate around the outside that keeps false doctrine from coming in, but once you get in, we're still a bunch of wicked sinners, and we still fight, and we still squabble, and it's still the Hatfield and McCoy, and I'm telling you, that's when we come together and observe the Lord's Supper, and we get right with one another, and we forgive one another, and we're not only in unity with Christ, we're in unity with one another. That's what the Lord's Supper is about. Well, I was gonna stop, but I should probably go ahead and mention a pre-tribulation rapture of the saints. Because God has not appointed his people under wrath. I'm glad he took care of his wrath on the cross of Calvary for me. But you understand, there are dispensations in the Bible, goobers. That's why there's an Old Testament and a New Testament. Mercy. It's crazy, man, people are crazy. In the tribulation period, we'll be about God dealing with Israel once again for their rejection of Messiah, of the Messiah Christ. What I'm saying to you, man, is this, is that these things are not up for debate for me. And they shouldn't be up for debate for you. Well, why? Because they're in the word of God. People got saved by grace through faith in this book right here. They followed Christ in baptism. They became a member of that local assembly called a church. They separated themselves into the world and began to live for Jesus Christ. And these are things we must still stand on. Well, why? So that we can continue to have a generation coming up today knowing these things and following our Savior. But love reminds us, doesn't it, that not only it matters how we preach, but our truth reminds us of what we preach, and love reminds us of how we preach. And we have a generation today that we really don't love them when we give them the truth of God's word, but according to God's word, that's not true. Because love rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth. But on the other hand, Paul also said in 1 Corinthians 13, in that very first verse of that great love chapter, he said, though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels and have not charity, I am become as a sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. And sounding brass and tinkling cymbals were those instruments used in the eastern marketplaces and bazaars to get people's attention. They were annoying. And the point Paul is making here is this, is that we can have truth, but if we don't learn to communicate it in love, then we're really doing nothing but making an annoying sound. And we're turning people away from the truth rather than to the truth. Man, I'm telling you. And by the way, and I'll clarify here later on, there's a difference between preaching angry and preaching in the boldness of the Holy Ghost. And man, I believe we understand that. I think a guy ought to have a little salt about him and he ought to be filled with the Spirit of God and he ought to stand boldly on the truth of God's Word. But at the same time, I do wanna say this. I would rather see people turn away from the things of God because of the truth and their unwillingness to receive it than something that I've done. And I can remember first getting into the ministry and saying things like, man, I sure love the church. I didn't love the church. I just loved that I got to preach three times a week. Yeah. But then I started ministering to them people. And I started going to their bedsides in the hospital and praying with them. And I started preaching their funerals. And I started seeing their kids get saved. And all of a sudden you start loving them people. And isn't it amazing how when you start loving those people, your attitude changes in the pulpit And I think if we were all honest this morning, we'd probably say, yeah, I remember some of those times. Don't leave me up here hanging now. Yeah. No. I don't really believe I am. But we are to stand on truth. And we are to preach it in love. But in verse number seven, John issues them a caution. And there'll be those that'll come along and try to deceive them and move them away from these things. And again, man, I believe this is what is happening to men in our day. And he says, for many deceivers are entered into the world who confess not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. And this is a deceiver and an antichrist. And I realize he's describing the Judaizers of the day and he's describing the Gnostics of the day. The Jews rejected Christ as being the Messiah, and we understand that, and the Gnostics of the day held to the belief that the Messiah had come, but it wasn't just, it wasn't in the flesh, it was some mystical, spiritual body, it was weird stuff. But I do wanna say this, I believe we still got our Gnostics and our Judaizers still today. Because you understand that Gnosticism, it is an attempt to move us away from truth. In our Gnosticism today, and I believe especially what I am seeing take place among our men, is intellectualism. Uh-oh. Call him back. You understand, there are guys, no, no, no, listen to this. There are guys running around today saying, well, I'm just searching for the truth. Well, let me help you with something. I found the truth. It's right here. It's the word of God. Man, we're not called to search for the truth. We're called to receive the truth. And then we're called to obey the truth. And then we're called to preach the truth. Not to search for it or wander around for it. No, let me tell you something. Intellectualism is a cop out for doing what God already said to do. He didn't call us to read books, man. He called us to preach the gospel and take it to the lost and dying world. Amen. No, no, no, he didn't call us to sit around on Facebook and have our little silly arguments. And again, I'm not knocking books. Brother Marshall touched on this last night and reading books and growing our faith. I do the same things and even Paul had his parchments. But you understand, there is something wrong when we are spending far more time in man's wisdom than we are in God's wisdom. I'll tell you something, I write four to five messages a week just in a regular week because of our chapel and then our services and Sunday school and all of those things and I would much rather spend more time meditating on this book and praying and asking God what to preach than to read what somebody else already thought about it. And I'm telling you, men, we better be careful with this stuff, but do go get some books from Brother Brunster, amen? But let me say this, listen, it's this same bunch that gets caught up in all this intellectualism that eventually ends up in Calvinism and reformed in their theology. Men don't become Calvinists by reading the Bible. Men become Calvinists because they read a book about the Bible written by a Calvinist. And why would a Baptist ever want to be a Calvinist? John Calvin hated Baptists. Listen, we're a few fries short of a Happy Meal, you know what I'm saying? Predestination has nothing to do with the lost. It has everything to do with the saved. Because I am saved, I am predestined to spend eternity with my Savior. Well, how do you know that? Because of truth. but it's also this same truth that says, whosoever will may come. Let's think about this though, it was Judaism. It was an attempt to move men away from Christ's love. You understand the attitude of the Pharisees was completely opposite to the meekness and the compassion of Jesus Christ. He said this to his disciples in Matthew 10 and 16 and 17. Listen to what he said. He said, Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Did you catch that? Be ye therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But beware of men, for they will deliver you up to councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues. Listen, where God's people are to be sheep, and manifest the meekness and gentleness of Jesus Christ. The Pharisees were a bunch of angry wolves looking to devour. And what I'm saying to you is that this is the attitude of some of the false prophets in our day, by the way, who even claim to be Baptist. And they don't act like sheep following Christ. They act like a bunch of stinking wolves trying to devour. And they are sucking men into their wickedness through deception. Let me help you with something. When a man starts using slang terms from the pulpit to offend the homosexual crowd, something is wrong with his spirit. And men, listen, I'm all for standing against homosexuality, and I do understand the Bible consequences of those things. I realize it is an abomination unto God, and I do prefer the biblical term sodomites. However, we better understand that the homosexual needs to be saved. Well, they're all reprobate. Really, are you sure? Because I don't perceive to know the hearts of men. And I do understand, yes, I understand the warning of Romans chapter one and the depravity that it can lead to, but I also understand 1 Corinthians six and that there were some in the church that had been washed and that had been justified and that had been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ. And to use some worldly term in our pride and on our flesh, all that does is turn them away from the truth that they need. And when a man starts attacking different races of people like the Jews, and I'm gonna tell you something, something's wrong with his spirit. Listen, Jew or Gentile, black or white, no, no, no, friend, everybody needs to be saved. The gospel, listen, it can save anyone. When a man is aggressive and he's angry on social media, something is wrong with his spirit. Yes, we ought to be bold in the Holy Ghost, but being bold in the spirit is different than being wicked and angry and hateful in the flesh. There's a difference in that. And when a church goes and protests a soldier's funeral, puke, something is wrong both doctrinally and spiritually. And yes, I am in Kansas, and let me just help you with something. Westboro Baptist Church is no more a Baptist church than church's chicken is a church. Wicked. I feel so much better now. Man, don't fall for this junk. No, look at what he says in verse number eight. He says, look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. What he's saying is this, don't give ground to these things. We have the truth and we have the love that is in Jesus Christ. Keep growing and going in those things. Don't give ground because when you give ground and you give in and you're seduced and lured away, you're not only giving up what's here, but you're giving up what you had there. In fact, that's what John says in verses 10 and 11. Don't even let them in your house. Don't even let them in the church. Let me let him in. Stand in his truth. And I like what he says in verse nine. He says, whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. You wanna know why some guys run off looking for something else? It's because they think God shortchanged them and what they already got when really we just need to do what God already said to do. Man, prayer still works. Preaching the word of God still works. Asking to be filled with the Holy Ghost, it still works, men. We just need to do it. And we saw a lady walk through the aisle last Wednesday night. and call on the Lord and get saved. Been praying for her, been praying for her, she had some tremendous hurdles to get through in her life to come to a saving knowledge of Christ, and one of those things I found out later was that she had a problem with authority, and I was preaching in 3 John that night on diatrophies, who had a problem with authority. Imagine how that worked. Yeah, we planned it all out. Just, it still worked. It still works. It's amazing. And I love, look at what he says in verse 12, and I'm gonna finish up here. Look at what he says. He says, having many things that are right unto you, I would not write with paper and ink, but I trust to come unto you and speak face to face that our joy may be full. You think, man, preacher, we don't have what John would say to them. Yeah, but we can know what John would say to them. He's gonna say exactly what Jesus Christ said to him in John chapter 15. Turn to John chapter 15 real quick. You can leave third John. John chapter 15. In verse number nine it says, as the father hath loved me, so have I loved you. Continue ye in my love. If you keep my father's, or if you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my father's commandments and abide in his love. Come on, that's truth and love, isn't it? And then he says, these things have I spoken unto you that my joy might remain in you and that your joy might be full. In running off and searching for something new is not what we need, it's not what's gonna bring us joy. It's preaching that book right there. And doing it in the love of Jesus Christ. And then watching God build his church. And that's when we have full joy. We had our missions conference this past April. And we had originally, scheduled Brother Richard King to come and preach our missions conference and of course we saw the thing last night there, Brother King had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and so he called me and he said, brother, he said, I can't, I'm not gonna be able to make it and I'm gonna have to cancel the meeting and so I went into my office and I started praying and I said, Lord, you know the situation, what would you want me to do? And so the Lord said, call Brother Boonstra. And so I called Brother Carl Boonstra, and I said, brother, would you happen to have this Sunday free? And he said, yes, sir, I would. And I said, well, how about that? I said, can you come up and preach? And so we got together with a chauffeur. They had a meeting. And Brother Boonstra came up, and we had a wonderful missions conference. Our missionaries preached Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. And Brother Boonstra preached our faith promise Sunday on Sunday. And our missions went from $70,000 to $80,000 for the year. And it was just an increase of $10,000. What a blessing. In the Sunday night service, we had Brother Carl Boonstra who was 93 at the time I believe. We had Pastor E.J. Watson that pastored Faith Baptist Church for 50 years faithfully. I cannot say enough about that man and his faithfulness to hold to that book and to walk into a church and to see the heritage and to see a group of people that know what they believe and why they believe it, and you get up there and preach it, and the people go, oh, he believes what we believe. I like this guy. That'll help you right there. So we had him, we had Brother Howard Quinlan that's in our church. Missionary faithfully over in the Philippines for 30 years. 93, I think, he's gonna turn 94 this year, so he already claims 94, but you can do whatever you want to when you get in your 90s. And then we had Brother Bill Brewer came to our services that night. He was in our church years ago as a missions evangelist, and now he's at another church because of the folks that are caring for him. And I'm thankful that I'm not his pastor, because he's crazy. But he was in our services that night. And it was a blessing. Brother Brewer had surrendered under Brother Boonster's preaching, I believe back in the 40s, wasn't it? And we had all four of those men in the services that night. And then after the service, we had all four of them stand up in the pulpit. or up in front of the pulpit in our church and we were taking pictures and different things. And I was sitting there watching those men and thinking to myself, man, that's the stalwarts of the faith. That's the men that stood faithfully by the word of God and plowed the road for guys like us. And I was rejoicing in that and thinking, man, I get to be a part of it. And I got to stand up there with the guys and get mine. I was thinking, I don't need to be up here. What a blessing. But then all I could think about was that was that generation. Look at what our generation is doing with it. We're fiddling around on the internet and dabbling in strange doctrine. When men, we need to get back to plowing like those men. We don't need anything new, we just need to do what God's already told us to do. It still works. It still works. And all God's people said, that's what I'm talking about. Thank you, brother. Praise the Lord, I agree with everything he said, amen and amen, praise the Lord. Well, we're gonna take a 10 minute break, and we're behind, but that's okay. If you have a four to 10-year-old and you want to go to the kid session during the next service, the best thing to do is go right through this door right here. And as soon as you go through that door, the next door is the nursery door. And that's where they're going to sign up. And basically, all we need is just name and telephone number, and if the kids have any allergies or anything like that. I don't think there'll be any ropes or hanging or anything going on. But if something happens, we need a telephone number. And then they'll be able to tell you where you can pick your kids up. Because we're going to have another preaching, Brother Joe Decker. And then after that, there will be a ladies.
