All right, 148th Psalm. I had to get over in the back of it. All right. I'm probably just going to read this whole Psalm because it's just 14 verses, and they're short verses. Let me just read through it. Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens. Praise Him in the heights. Praise ye Him, all His angels. Praise ye Him, all His hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon, praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for he commanded and they were created. He hath also established them forever and ever. He hath made a decree which shall not pass. Praise the Lord from the earth, ye dragons, and all depths. Fire and hail, snow and vapor, stormy wind fulfilling his word. Mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars. Beasts and all cattle, creeping things and flying fowl. Kings of the earth and all people, princes and all judges of the earth. Both young men and maidens, old men and children. Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is excellent. His glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalted the whore of his people, the praise of all his saints, even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord. Amen. Now, the Psalms are poets that express praise to God. Sure. Throughout the Psalms, there's different authors of these Psalms. Not going to get into that, but for the most part the Psalms are songs and praises unto the Lord. Sure. Praising the Lord all throughout. Yes. The Psalms. Many of these are considered poems or songs that men had written from their hearts. You can tell this is not a literal writing of history or historical events and facts. These are men writing as a testimony of their heart, telling you what's going on inside of them. Amen. I believe that's what a testimony is. It's praising the Lord, don't you? As a lot of folks, I've heard through the years, Brother David, I've been preaching now 29 years, and I've heard a lot of people get up and point of views, and it was a far cry from testifying. Just because somebody says something doesn't mean And I like it every once in a while when somebody has something worth saying. Yeah. Something worth hearing. Yeah. It's going on on the inside. It's an experience. Amen. My Lord, salvation's an experience. Yes, it is. It's not anything somebody can tell you about. You have to tell them about it. That's right. Amen. This is the blind boy that was healed and the Lord gave him his sight. And they asked his parents what was going on with this man. what was going on with their son and they said he's of age, ask him. Let him tell you. If something happened to our children, they'll tell you about it. Amen. I've been in church services where they'll embarrass a child and keep embarrassing that child long enough until that child will say whatever it is they want to hear. I've seen that with my own eyes. I've seen people drug into an altar that they didn't want to go to. I've been asked to pray for people that weren't ready to pray yet. Amen. I want to say this to you tonight, and I'm not trying to be ugly. You can't get a man interested in salvation until God does something in him first. And when God does something in his heart, he'll get interested in the same. He'll get interested in heaven. He'll start looking for a way out. And I'm grateful tonight that God done something in me. All that preaching and talking been done to me. Up to I was 13 years old, you'd think that talking could have got it done. If just preaching alone could have got it done, I'd have already been saved. Amen, but it took convicting power. put me on my knees before God, and then I realized for myself where I was headed. I always knew He died on the cross. Brother David, that night I realized He died because of me. He died for me and because of me. Amen. Oh yes, a lot of sinners know He died for them, but they've yet to learn that He died because of them. That's right, and that night I realized it was because of me He had to die. And so I had an experience. And I can praise Him because of my experience. I can testify because of what happened in me. Not around me, but in me. I liked that this morning, talking about pouring in that oil. He didn't pour it on us, He poured it in us. Amen. I believe the Holy Ghost ought to be on us. But it ain't gonna help the world until it gets in it. Amen. Amen. Ought to be filled with the Spirit of God, the Bible said. And that goes for Baptists as well as everybody else. Amen. That's right. Amen. The Bible said be not drunk with wine where it is excess. Right. But be ye filled with the Spirit. He's not suggesting that, he's commanding that. Be ye filled with the Spirit of God. I take no influence over a sinful world unless I'm filled and led by the Spirit of God. And they that are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Hallelujah, thank God this evening. For spirit-filled people, I tell y'all to be afraid of them. If they're full of the Spirit, they'll be walking looking right, talking right, they'll be in the right places at the right time. Hallelujah. Amen. These people were not just here today and some old granny got a shout in her, somebody run the house and scared them to death. Amen. I want to say this to you tonight. It'd be good for us to have a second in our kalala. I bless your heart this evening. If I could scare people into getting saved, I'd be about to do it. They need to get scared. They need to get afraid. They need to get nervous about what's going on. Amen. Sinners oughtn't to be able to dwell where the righteous dwell. God bless you, Brother Justin. I love you this evening. I want you to invite your sinner friends to come. I want you to bring your sinner family to come. If they're lost, bring them down here. Amen. I want them to fill the queue. And way back yonder, they tell me that, Phil, the pews had raised the windows, had centers together. I want to tell you there's something different about that church crowd back yonder than there is today. I believe our presentation is off. And the Bible said, present your bodies. a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God. People were believable. They had a testimony. They had influence. They had the power of God on their life. We're not as believable anymore. People don't have any confidence in what we're doing because we're about half in and half out. Amen. God bless you brother Justin. You don't have to say amen. I'll say amen myself. Come on. It's the truth. Praise the Lord. I done figured out how to amen myself. Amen. Praise God's great name. And I tell you this, if you say you love the Lord, you're going to love what's in that book. Amen. And if a man of God preaches it, you'll at least grunt at him every once in a while. It may hurt and you may not like it, but you'll nod your head and say, oh me, but yes sir. That's exactly right. It's the word of God, whether I like it, brother, you like it. And brother, it turns the covers upside down on me every once in a while. And I realize I'm not nearly as good as I want you to think I am. It takes a good wind of the Holy Ghost to bring us down when God can do something with us. Amen. Praise the Lord. God bless your heart. The Bible talks about people flying up there where the eagles fly. We ain't got no business up there. Amen. The only people God can use is Him that's way down here. Yes. Praise the Lord. The Bible said though thou exalt thyself as an eagle in the book of Obadiah, though thou exalt thyself as an eagle, it said, thence will I bring thee down. Yeah. Amen. There's some church folks I know need to be brought down. Yes, sir. Amen. That's right. That's right. We've been just about as safe as all them skid row bombs this evening. That'd be for the grace of God. Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. My momma's birthday was yesterday, and we'd cut up and go on with her, and she'll cut up and go on with us. But I hugged her up real close, brother Wesley, and I told her, I said, momma, you're the best momma in the world, cuz she's my momma. And that's the way it ought to be. And she told me she appreciated we bought her supper and carried her out. She said she appreciated it, and I said, momma, I appreciate you for raising her up. I could have been raised by a drunk. I could have been raised in a sweat hole. I could have been run off down the highway. But they stayed together through thick and thin. They carried us to church through thick and thin. They brought us down here to Bible school through thick and thin. They put me under for preaching. I could have been left alone, left to myself, left to raise myself. but thank God for godly heritage, and a godly service, and a godly history. And we know, if God hadn't done what he's done for us, we ought to praise him in spite of everything, and glorify his name. Praise you, the Lord. That's what we're gonna do. We'll take time out every day to praise the Lord. Amen. I'm gonna take a minute out right now and praise him. Praise the Lord. Psalmist here talked about everything. He covered it all from heaven all the way down to earth. Yes he did. He got the stars and everything in between. The birds of the air and the beasts that creep and crawl. From the depths of the sea to the birds that fly. Amen. And all of creation. Amen. The Bible said we ought to praise Him because He spoke it and it was created. Amen. Amen. People sit around on a Baptist pew like they've been sucking on persimmon all day long and say, well, I ain't got nothing or it ain't my personality. I don't get excited unless you're a purified heart. I want you to know something, you see, when God saved you and pulled you out of the grip of hell this evening, you ought to be praising Him and acting like you're happy about it. Amen. God bless your heart. Your football team score a touchdown, we'll find out what your personality is. Amen. Amen. That little grandbaby of yours gets a home run, we'll find out what your personality is. Amen. You get all upside down about that kind of stuff. Amen. God bless your heart. Oh yes, and I thank God this evening. Amen. The Bible said this too, if we don't do it, He'll command the rocks to do it in our place. Amen. God's going to get what's due to Him. Yes. Do you believe that? God's going to get what's due to Him. Amen. And I say this evening, We owe him, and the Bible says we're indebted to the world. We ought to praise him in spite of our condition, in spite of our health, in spite of our finances, in spite of the White House. Praise ye the Lord. Amen. God bless you, brother Justin. God give me saliva. If you felt what I felt right now. My, my, my. He's been good to us. And this office, I really like how he was telling everything and everybody to praise the Lord. And in verse 13, he kind of gives us a reason. He said, let them praise the name of the Lord for his name alone is excellent. He didn't say anything about praising for what he's done for you or what he's doing for you or what he might do for you. He said, praise him for his name alone. Because his name is excellent. Yes it is. I say God has given him a name that is above everything man. That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. Many later said every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. And he lets us see and lets us know that he's a God above everything. Amen. The book of Ephesians said, He is over and exceedingly and abundantly above all that we ask and pray. He's above our broken heart. He's above the inability of pastors. Amen. Old brother Doug Strong sitting there in the hospital in Birmingham tonight waiting on a heart. and waiting on a pair of lungs that could be near you this evening. Amen, but I've heard that man flat footed say he's ready to go. He's born again. It'd be tragic to see his family have to say goodbye to such a young man, but I want you to know, amen, regardless of what happens, whether we live or whether we die, whether we're rich, whether we're poor, whether we've got a fine home or whether we're homeless, praise ye the Lord. Amen. Amen. My health ain't no count. I went to the doctor this past week, Brother David, and what I go for, they told me it was looking pretty good. I've been on blood pressure medicine since I was in my 20s. And they told me the medicine killed me before the blood pressure killed me. And had a doctor tell me one time, he said, your quality of life after 50 is just going to go downhill. He said, not because of your problem, but because of the medicine. You ain't going to be on it too long. He said, you're taking stuff that nearly dead people take. in nursing homes. And I said, well, that's good news, Doc. Amen. I'll tell you this, don't go to the doctor if you ain't sick. Yeah. Right. They'll wind up charging you $50 to tell you a bunch of bad news and you'll wind up getting sick. Amen. And I left there sick that day over what that man told me. And I'm like everybody else, I'm ready to go. I ain't necessarily hunting up a load going right now. Right. But I'm ready to go. Yes. Amen. When the Spirit of God comes on the scene now, hey man, I'll get back ready to split when we get out of here. Right. Amen. Ready to go. Amen. Yes. God bless your heart. But he looked at me and told me arthritis was getting bad. They draw blood, gonna send it off, have it tested. They're gonna test for all kinds of things. He said, it's gonna test for some kind of cancers and arthritis. And I got to thinking, I'm not so sure I want to be tested on all that. I just certainly be dumb about this to know it. I may get bad news this time next week, Brother David. I don't know. I know you've been struggling for quite some time. And I look around and I see people that's going through things. And it's always somebody else, you know. And we're saying, bless the Lord and pray for so-and-so. But one of these days, we live long enough, it's going to be you. It's going to be you. There's going to come a day when we're going to be the ones standing in there. Amen. And they're going to call and say, somebody got kicked or you got kicked. Something's going to happen one of these days. Amen. And people's always looking at our children and talking about it happening to them, but it can happen to me. And I say, why not? It can happen to me as much as it can happen to anybody else. I'm going to tell you this, my daddy, dwindled away and took life away from him. He was a dead man before he ever quit breathing. And he looked like he was 150 years old and on a hospice bed. I tell you, 55 years old and snow white headed and didn't have meat on his bones. He weighed less than 100 pounds. when he died, Brother Jerry. And I wept over that. And I begged God to give me answers over that. And I've wondered why me many times, Brother David. But I say this to you, why not me? God's been good to me. God has blessed me. Hallelujah. He's been there for me. He's brought me out. He delivered me when I was unlovable. He loved me. When nobody else cared, He cared for me. I ought to praise God in the good times and the bad times. He's God on the mountain. He's God on the parish. He's God on the top. God at the funeral home. It don't matter where I'm at. He's God all the time. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. He was God when daddy was healthy, and he was God over at the funeral home when we said goodbye to him. He's God all the time. Amen. It took three days for me to do some growing up. Three days after daddy died, I walked out behind the barn that we all built, me, him, mother, and my brother. We were just kids, and I can remember hammering nails in that old barn. We just threw it together. We had to have something. And we just threw that thing together. And Daddy painted that thing with a little primer paint. For Lawrence, he'd just come up with a little pie can, something that you'd throw over at the shop. And we wound up gathering up enough of that stuff, we just started painting in the primary. It was the ugliest barn you'd ever seen. But it meant something to me, right? When you put something in it, it'll mean something to you more. That's right. Three days after we buried him, I got off behind that barn. I needed to get away from everything and everybody for a minute. I didn't know if I was going to be able to handle it. There was my babies, got robbed of a papa. My oldest son thought more than my daddy. He thought of me. He did. I got back there, and I'm going to tell you, found out I wasn't alone. I found out that day that the God of glory, the God of the universe, the creator of everything you see will meet you behind an old stick barn and let you know you're not walking alone. And you'll never travel a mile the day you don't worry traveling in front of you. The Bible said he was a man that was tempted in all appointed times. We are yet without sin. He knows where we're at. And I felt his presence that day and he let me know I was in the hall of his hand. Amen. That's a great day coming. Great day coming. Praise the Lord. I've got fears like everybody else has got fears. Brother David, countless nights before I went to bed, I've called Thomas's name. Your mama's not gonna let us forget him. I've told this church, Mr. Pam, I've told this church many times, I wouldn't want to be Thomas right now. I wouldn't want to be him. Bunch of people over here halfway across the country praying for him, praying the power of God on him to tear him up. I know he's raised right. And the Bible says if you'll do that, it shall not depart from you. That's right. And it don't promise you they're ever going to do anything about it, but that raisin won't leave them. Amen. What you've been stealing in on my home the rest of your life, it'll do that. Sure. I believe I'm going to get a phone call one day. I do. And I'm telling you, just as sure as I live, the phone's going to ring one day and they're going to tell me that Thomas got what he needed. I believe that God's people's got that kind of power in Jesus on this planet. I do too, brother. I do. The Lord looked at Peter and he wasn't making him a pope. I give unto you the keys of the kingdom. He put his name in the church. He put His power in the church. He put His authority in the church. And if you're gonna get where God is, and I know God is everywhere, but I'm talking about the unadulterated power of God. I'm talking about where the name of God is. If you're gonna get to where that, you're gonna have to get where the church is. That's right. Amen. And I say this thing, the church has still got power on this earth. That's right. Because he put his name in it. He put his word in it. He put his power in it. He put his ordinances in it. And the church has power this evening to praise him and to worship him and put trouble on the hell-bound world. I believe with all my heart that God's people prayed trouble on me until I got saved. Amen. Praise the Lord. The church has that kind of power. Praise the Lord. And I don't know why that would surprise people. That's right, Brother Justin. The Lord loved the church so much he died for it. Yes, he did. And for us to think he'd forget us, overlook us, be unmindful of our condition, he knows where we're at. Yes. Joe Biden don't have a clue where I'm at. Amen. The Antioch Baptist Church has never crossed his mind. That's right. But the Creator is sitting on the throne. Amen. Looking right down inside this building. Yes. Now if that don't stir you up in your woods too late. Amen. God bless your heart. He knows where we're at. That's right. And I know he knows where I'm at. Because he's been blessing me the whole time I've been standing up here. So he knows where I'm at. And just these little simple revelations in life, you don't have to be a theological scholar to know the power of God. Them old saints of God, them old grannies wearing bonnets that shout out in the cockpits, they tell me about it. I wasn't allowed to see it, but they tell me about it. Amen. Some of them couldn't even read their name. Right. Right. Couldn't read the newspaper. Had to have the Bible read to them. Sure. But the Holy Ghost of God turned something over in their heart out in the field or the back 40 somewhere, and you'd know they'd been with Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen. That's what we need tonight, more of that. Yes. We need more of that. We're a little too intellectual these days. Yeah. I appreciate what God has done for us. These conveniences, all these things are nice. I do enjoy them, they're a blessing to us. But I tell you, we can do without far less things than what we think we got to have. Yeah. This old world spun a whole lot longer without them than it did with them. Amen. What do you think about that? Amen. 2,000 computers going to shut down, the whole world's going to stop. Yeah. They thought the sun was going to quit shining, the moon was going to quit reflecting. You're right. Oh, everything's over with. God had this thing working long before computers were born. And you know why they're working the same way? Because He told them so. He told them to do it. He told the stars to hang right where they're hanging. He told the sun to shine just like it shines. Every man told the moon to do what it sees. told the tides to rise and to fall like they do. Yes. Amen. All the seasons they come and go just like they've always done. And the Bible said the earth is reserved to the day of judgment. Amen. I'm not worried about dinosaur fossils. Nope. I'm not worried about some big rock falling out of the sky. Amen. I'm not worried about any of that because the Bible said this place is going to be here when the Lord comes back. Amen. Amen. I don't care what them scientists tell you at NASA. I ain't worried about that. Yeah. Hey man, don't worry about getting people to Mars. Hey man, I want the God that gets concerned about getting them to heaven to get them out of hell to our Mars. That's right, brother. Amen. Bless your heart. I'm going to get off that because Kimberly knows that's my soapbox. She don't like it when I get on that stuff. I get on it in the living room every once in a while. I love you. Praise you, the Lord, because of His name. Miss Janice, there's an old directory back here in the office, I found it. An old one, there's a picture of your mom and dad in there. And I thank the world for you too, I do, I love you. I love your mom and dad, and I know you did, and I know you've been told after years how precious they were. Brother Jack Craig was one of the most precious individuals I've ever known in my life. Everybody agrees with me. Everybody agrees with that. Wonderful man. And I think back over my memories of people like that, and I want to be more like those people. That's who my heroes are. Most of them are dead and gone. But they did things right. Yes, they did. You knew, brother, that there was no question Brother Jack Craig was born again and ready to go. Amen. He's ready. Yes. I think about men like, and I saw their pictures, Sister Janice, and I know you weep for them. We weep for the past sometimes and what we had and what has been by here and through here. And I think about them old states of God and them we buried. Sister Dean Bean this week. Yeah. impact she had on this church, the young people of this church, the children. I heard y'all were wonderful people. I was watching the video just the other day and I seen Brother Bob McMurtry and Gene just slide in the back during the service and they sat down right where they always sat, right back there, right where Brother Roy sat a little bit behind. And I seen the back of Brother Bob's head. Didn't have to see his face, I just seen his head. I knew who he was. I thought of men like that. And I remember Brother Cook bringing him up here one day. I think he had come to church over 20-something years and had never missed a Sunday. I thought, what commitment. Yes. How many of those Sundays did he probably not feel like it? Right. But he came anyway. Yes. I want to be more like that, don't you? Yes. Brother Jack would just walk around. I remember him doing that. He'd just have that humble look on his face. I want to be more like that, don't you? I say it with praise to the Lord, don't you? God's been good to any young church. Yes, he has. Let us see some wonderful, wonderful examples. We've got no excuse. Hey man, we don't that's right. Don't have any excuse in the world lay down on God's right brother Justin He's been real good to us. He's blessed us and because his name is excellent. We're praising tonight Or to lift up in his name just because of his name. Yes. I've made this statement. I know you've heard it many times But when we start Loving on the blesser As much as we love the blessing. Yeah, man, we're getting about in good shape. Yes, sir People love the blessing more than they do the blessing. But we need to love God just because he's God. If for anything else, just because he's God, he's been good to us tonight. I love you. I appreciate this church, the good spirit of God. We've been made to feel here tonight. I want you to know it's not going on in every building across this country. There's a lot of people having to substitute for this because the spirit's done packed up. So they're having to do a bunch of different things in order to keep it interesting. But where the spirit of God is, there's liberty. Amen. Amen. And there's power. Amen. And I'm going to leave here tonight knowing he's still God. God bless you. Still on the throne. Amen. When that devil tries to tell me next week, you ain't no preacher. You ain't no Christian. I'm going to call him a liar like he is. Yes. Keep marching on. Amen. Amen. We'll be here the next time. He'll still be God. still be on the throne. We may not shout as loud next time. We may not get near as high or near as excited, but He'll still be God. Amen. Thank God, but I tell you this, if we'll rub up close to Him, I'm talking about real close, get over in His lap, I believe we can have more of this. Amen. I believe He'll open the windows of heaven. He'll pour it out. There'll be not enough room to contain God. Amen. You can't contain Him. Can't wrap him up in a box. Praise the Lord. Thank God this evening for salvation. Y'all come on and get some. If you don't, I'm going to wind up staying here half the night. Come on. This is a song. I love you. I'm grateful to be here. Y'all stand with us, please. We've had some wonderful meetings in this building through the years. I'm going to chalk this up as one more. Yes, amen. Amen, I'm grateful that I've been here tonight with you. These altars open if you need to pray at any time, we'd love to pray with you. The Lord has extended mercy throughout the ages. Amen. After generation after generation, he's extended his hand and arm of mercy to sinners. Thank you, Lord. Tonight, he's got it one more night. Yes. One more day. The Lord has done that. Offered people the opportunity to get things right with him. The line's drawn in the sand. I don't know where the line is. I don't know where time shall be no more, but it's coming. We're a day closer to the day we raised. There's a day coming where time shall be no more. He's going to call it to a close. You're going to answer for what you did with Jesus. Not to value your birdhouses and Bible school. I'm not trying to be ugly toward Bible school. There's a lot of folks that had a Bible school experience, that's all they had. I hope you've got more than that. I tell people, Liz, if your religion don't even get you up on a Sunday morning and get you to church, how in the world do you expect to get to heaven? There's a lot of folks expecting, you know, a couple times a year, Easter, Christmas, baby, when they think they're good old boys and good old girls. you must be born again. You gotta be saved. Being good's not good enough. If he were, he'd have told us so. The Bible said all we like sheep have gone astray. We've all turned our own way, which is a wicked way. We despised him according to Isaiah. We despised him. We rejected him according to Isaiah. God turned his back on him on the cross. A lot of babies don't like to hear me say that. I found that out. But God forsook him in Calvary. God would not look. God would not look. He blacked out the sky. During the daytime, he blacked out the sky. And he wouldn't look in. The earthquake from beneath. He gave up the ghost, they didn't take it, he gave it. When you die, you won't get it either. It'll be taken from you. My daddy died, I told this many times, he's gasping for every breath of air he can get. That's a natural human response. And when it happens to you, you're gonna do the same thing. Unless it happens abruptly, if you're laying there on a hospice bed dying of cancer, you're gonna gasp for every breath you can get. I've witnessed death. That's a natural human response. But Christ gave up the ghost. He gave it. He said, no man takes my life from me. Now the power to lay it down, the power to take it up again. They hated him for saying that. They said he was speaking heresy, means a blasphemer. They called him Satan in Beelzebub. They hated him. They thought Jesus was the problem when he was here. Now they think we're the problem. So I say this to you now, what all we've known about the Bible and our experience at church throughout the years, have you ever known God to turn his back on his people? Have you ever known God to withhold any good thing from them that are righteous? He said he wouldn't. He's never turned his back on his people, nor his church. And before He destroys America, He's gonna offer America a way out. Before He destroyed any country, He always offered them a way out. Before He pronounced judgment, He always offered pardon. And that's what He's doing tonight. He's extending mercy one more time. He is a good God. He is a God of love. He is a God of mercy. He's a God of judgment and wrath. He's a God that is holy and demands holiness. But I would say without it, you shall not see him. So that's what he is calling for tonight. So in this invitation, would you search your own heart? Let him know your heart today. When you leave this building tonight, you can leave in good standing with him. If you ain't been able to praise him, if you get right with him, you'll find it easier to praise him when you leave this building tonight. Jesus saved me from death and from death. He saved, Jesus saved me from death and from death. He saved, Jesus saved me from death and from death. Will be filled with joy and gladness, Jesus slain, Jesus slain. Will be filled with joy and gladness, Jesus slain, Jesus slain. Till the island of the sea, The tranquil valley of its plains, Birds will sing, birds will sing, Jesus Christ Jesus Christ Jesus Christ Jesus Christ Jesus Christ ♪ We need to stay, we need to stay ♪ ♪ We need to stay, we need to stay ♪ ♪ We need to stay, we need to stay ♪ ♪ We need to stay, we need to stay ♪ ♪ We need to stay, we need to stay ♪ He's a saint is is Oh, say can you see By the dawn's early light this is He's the God that delivers. I thought of this again and I'm reminded of it often. David, little David. That's his heart. He went to check on his brother. He went to see his father. He was accused of being nosy, being arrogant. A lot of people wait and shout until they get victory. Old David shouted before the victory. It's all right to shout when you know God's gonna do it. You know what he said? He said, God delivered me from the balls of baton, from the jaws of a lion. He said, and the God that delivered me then is gonna deliver me today. He hasn't even been delivered yet, he's already shouted. You got five spoon stones from Saul's armor-bearing pig. I know it's bad out there. Every time I read the news, my heart breaks just like yours. When I see it on television. My brother last night was at the table and he was talking about several things in the news. Talking about different people and things. He said, you don't know what permanent is. I said, son, I don't even listen to the news. I said, I don't watch that stuff. I said, I'm impressed and I don't need to be more impressed than what I already am. And he was talking about that struggle. There's a lot of things going on that I don't even know of. And if I didn't know, I'd probably be scared to death. And you, too. There's a lot of things you didn't promise that we didn't know. And it scares the fans tonight. But I'm so thankful. And I'm relieved tonight to know I can go home and know that I ain't got to worry about fixing all that. I am. I am. Amen. You don't either. I'm glad. You're right. Amen. God is in control all the time, and whatever is in God's control can never get out of Him. So we can think about it like that. Praise the Lord. So we can have all that for now. Amen. But for the child of God, it's only going to get better. He is. They say it's going to get bad, preacher, and I say it is. And it's going to get worse before it gets better down here. It's looking pretty bad to be on the outside, but for us here to say it, it's looking real good. Amen. Looking real good. Jesus said in Matthew 24, a lot of bad things are going to start happening when this thing comes to a close. He said there's going to be false prophets. They're going to be men claiming that they're me, calling themselves the Christ. He said they're going to be our children over here in the east and west. He said, don't go, because they're all ours. They're God's prophets. They're God's teachers. He said, when you see all these things, and you think the world's falling in all around you, he said, then look up. Look up, and you're going to get your draws back. Amen. We're supposed to be looking at somebody's looking at us. We need to be looking at it. All right, I'm gonna let you go. We should be here. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life on the moon.
