When? Sat., August 17 at 4pm. We’ll eat around 5-5:30. Where? Steele Creek Park, Bristol, TN - Rotary Shelter What? Bring covered dish picnic food (no kitchen facilities) Drinks are provided by the church. What Else? Our Picnic tables are in shelter – bring a soccer chair if you want. There is a volleyball court and tether ball next to the shelter. With a little walk down the hill there is a soccer field, a baseball (bases needed), a playground for small children and walking trails. Directions From Interstate 81: Take Exit 74A, pass by Wellmont Bristol Regional Medical Center. Continue on toward Bristol. At the 2nd red light (CVS will be on your right), turn right onto Highway 126. Travel for 1 mile, turn left onto Steele Creek Park Drive. Travel for 0.3 miles and turn right, cross the bridge onto Steele Creek Park Road. Travel 0.3 miles the park gate will be on your left( Little Lane). Go through the gate and the Rotary shelter/parking area will be .1 miles on your left. If you take Highway 126 from Kingsport the turn onto Steele Creek Park Dr. will be on your right and is 10 miles from the intersection of Interstate 81 and Hwy 126. Look carefully for Steele Creek Park Dr. as there is not a good sign there.
