Malachi chapter three, Malachi chapter three, notice what he says. For I am the Lord, I change not. Therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Notice that God said, I change not. Then in the book of James, James chapter one, And verse 17, notice what else about the Lord. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, now notice this, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. That'll make sense in just a moment. God says in Revelation, that there is a day when a shakin' is gonna happen. God is gonna shake this world in the book of Revelation during the tribulation period. But there are some things that will not be shaken. Some things remain. There are times in your life when there seems There'll be no way out. You have tensions. You have friction. You might have financial difficulties. But you say, well, Brother Paul, sometimes it just seems like there isn't a way out. I'm going through what I'm going through, but there isn't a way out. There is a way. Jesus said, I am the way. Amen? And you can hang on to that, no matter what it is, Jesus is the way. But in the midst of all these changes that happen in our life, in the midst of the fact that one day this world is gonna be shaken before, well, after that is we get out of here in a rapture, I want us to realize something. There are three things in the Bible that never change. Now, other things happen. Sometimes we change. Sometimes there's problems in our life. But there are three things that never change. Number one, God has not changed. Amen, that's what he said. He says, I change not. First of all, number one, the nature of God never changes. He doesn't change himself, church, to adapt to our generation. You see, generation to generation seems like people change, but God said, I will never change, he will never adapt. to the changes of men and the changes of women. He's got no change in him. He's the same. God is unchanging. He said in Malachi chapter three and verse six, I am the Lord. I change not. Again, sometimes we're guilty of changing. We change our opinions sometimes. Sometimes we change our decisions. And I want you to know, we'll say sometimes, I'll never do that, Brother Paul, but sometimes we do. But we know a God that says, I change not. If this world is here another 100 years, He will be the same. Man will change, women will change, but God says, I will never change. Number two, God is unchanging in His holiness. You see, we're all guilty from time to time of not showing the holiness that we should. But I want you to know, we all come short of God's holy requirements. You say, why, Brother Paul? Again, because we are all sinners. We are all in need of grace and the mercy of God. I don't care who you are. Young people, old people, you need the grace and you need the mercy of God, even though you're saved, but in the rest of your life, you need that, and that is why Jesus Christ came and died on the cross to give us grace and to give us mercy, but it doesn't end there. It's to be with us from God for the rest of our life. Jesus died for your sins, amen? He died for my sin. Thank God we had somebody that paid it all. The book of Psalms 103 in verse one, David said, bless his holy name. First Samuel chapter two verses two through four, the Bible says there is none holy as the Lord. Never call a man his holiness. Y'all with me? because no man deserves that there's not a man living in this world that's in the position of authority that's maybe a pastor of a church but you should never call him his holiness so I'm going to be mean here but the Pope does not deserve that He's gonna die one day because he is a sinner, just like I am and you are. The Bible says in Romans chapter 3 and verse 23, let's hang on to it, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. God is the only one that is complete holiness. God wants us to be holy, and sometimes we're holier in some days than other days, because we change, but God never changes His holiness. I said, number one, God never changes. The third way He never changes. God is unchanging in His judgment. There is gonna be, church, a judgment day. It is coming. Now, we don't talk a lot about this, But it's true, there are two main judgments, and every man and every woman in this room's gonna stand before God, including me. Now, if you're saved, your judgment and my judgment is the judgment seat of Christ. And I want you to know that judgment, one at a time, will give an account as to what we did for God while we were in this life. Did we do things for Him? Did we try to get people saved? Did we do any work where we gave him the glory? I'm trying to say we're gonna stand before the Lord Jesus Christ and give an account of our works, not our sins. Thank God our sins were paid for at the cross at Calvary by the Lord Jesus Christ, amen? But every man and every woman, there is a judgment coming that won't change. If a person's not saved, it's a little different. They will stand before the great white throne judgment. Find that in Revelation chapter 20 and verse 15 and so forth. It's there in the Bible. The man that dies without Christ stands before God at the great white throne judgment. And I'm using man as mankind, women too. One at a time and give an excuse or a reason why they never got saved. People that go to hell right now, you've heard me say this before, they're in hell right now, burning and screaming. And one day, the second death in hell is gonna be resurrected. And one at a time, people that are in hell will stand before Jesus Christ and give an account of their sin and be cast into the lake of fire forever and ever. God's unchanging in that. He's not gonna change his mind about judgment. There are two major ones, there's others, but these two right here, one for the saved, judgment seat of Christ, one for the lost, the great white throne judgment. Jesus Christ, by the way, talked more about hell than heaven. Did you know that in the Bible? You and I will stand before Jesus Christ, and when I stand, don't be shocked here, when I stand before the Lord Jesus Christ, I am not gonna ask for justice. I'm going to ask for mercy. You say, Brother Paul, you're going to do that? Yes. I'm not going to say I'm justified. Give me justice. No, give me mercy. Amen. Don't look at me like that. You'll be saying the same thing, I think. Amen. I need the grace of God. I need the mercy of God. And I need the forgiveness of God. And one day we will stand before God and he's unchanging in his judgment. Number four, God's love for you is unchanging. He loves you. Thank God we've got a God no matter what, no matter what we do, no matter what we say, God's love is unchanging. Now if you're not saved, God can forgive you for every sin you've ever committed in your life. As I look across this congregation, I want to believe everybody's saved. But I don't know. I don't know your heart, nobody knows your heart. But glory to God, there is one, and that's the Lord Jesus Christ. But I'm so thankful that I can tell you, if you're one in this room that's never been saved, God can forgive and will forgive you of every sin you have ever committed in your life. God can wipe the slate clean because of who? Jesus Christ. Y'all with me so far? Because of Jesus Christ. Not because you deserve it. Not because I deserve it. The Bible says, for by grace are you saved through faith, and that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. It is not of yourself. I wish people could see that. Salvation is not of yourself. It's not of works. You can't work your way to heaven. You can't do enough works to earn it. You can't buy your way to heaven. You win the lottery and donate the whole thing to Ridge Memorial. We'll take it, but that won't get you to heaven. Amen? A lot of pastors won't take it. They're crazy. We'll take it. Amen? But I want you to know, I hate to tell you, a lot of folks think they can buy their way to heaven, work their way to heaven, but that's not going to get anybody there. God loves you. His love is unchanging. What a wonderful way to go to sleep at night and put your head on that pillow knowing that God loves you. You said, what I did today, I said a bad word, God still loves you. You say, well, I had some bad thoughts this week. I get scared when I put my head on the pillow. No, no, God still loves you, because that is one of the things that God doesn't change on. God loves you, but he also gives us an easy way to go to bed, even more comfortable. 1 John 1, 9, if we confess our sins, he's faithful and just to forgive us of our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So, I said number one, first thing that never changes, God never changes. Number two, the word of God does not change. This book right here. Isaiah chapter 40 and verse eight says, the grass withereth, the flowers fadeth, but the word of our God shall stand forever, amen? I settled that a long time ago. Even at the very beginning of my ministry, I settled that a long time ago. I, first of all, want to tell you that there are a lot of things in this Bible I don't understand. I know. I'm a pastor. You say you should understand. I understand many things, but there's a lot of things that i don't understand there are questions you can ask me but i cannot answer because i don't know everything about the bible but i do have one answer this is the word of god settled that long ago I said I don't understand everything I can't answer all the questions even going to Bible college and all that I still don't have all the answers even being the president of our school I don't have all the answers I don't know all the answers but I can tell you one thing the Word of God never changes it's God's Word and that's the manual of our church amen thank God This book right here, and of course I stand for that old King James Bible, amen, has not one error in it. It is absolutely perfect. I said one day to God, I accept this book, even though there's some things I may not understand, but I accept this book by faith. That settled it. You too. You're not gonna understand everything. There's some things I teach here. We talked about it this morning. We don't understand every little thing, how God's gonna do some things. But he's give us enough here that where we can understand a lot of it, but there's some things that we don't know all about it. Amen? So I can tell you right now, the word of God is the living word of God. All right? I said, number one, God does not change. Number two, the word of God does not change. And number three, the way of salvation has not changed. Now, if you're saved, you can eat on this if you'd like, but this is good stuff for you. But all these centuries, hang on now, the way to heaven is exactly the same. I'm talking about even in Hitler's day. Around 1945, he born in around 18 something, if I remember right. The way to heaven hasn't changed. All these generations, generation after generation, God did not come up with a new plan of salvation in 2023. It has been the same. Jesus said, he says it now. He said it a hundred years ago. He said it five hundred years ago. He said it up to the time that he rose again. I am the way. I am the way. I am the truth. I am the life. No man, no man, no man cometh unto the Father but by me. That doesn't change. Watch out for these religions. They say we got the answer. You come to our church, we'll baptize you in water, wash away your sins. Watch out for that. That's not the way. Join my church, I've got a good church here. Join us, they say, and you join our church. Our church's the group that's gonna go to heaven. I want you to know, I don't know where they get that from, but that's not the way. Jesus said, I am the way. I am the way. I am the way. No man, no man, no man cometh unto the Father but by me. I am the door. I am the door. If any man enter in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out of fine pasture. Amen? Y'all with me so far? How about a woo in here? Oh, glory to God, this is the truth. And this is what you got when you got saved. He will never change. But the lost people, here's something else. Even though he'll never change, you must change. He said, what are you talking about? You say, but I'm still a sinner. I'm not talking about that. I'm not talking about that. But yes, you must change. How in the world, what are you talking about? I must change. You must put your full faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. That's what I'm talking about. You must change. Not put your faith in something else. Not put your faith in your baptism. Not put your faith in your church membership. Not put your faith in the Lord's Supper and the sacraments. Those things will not get you to heaven, but you must change. Change your mind as repentance and turn to your heavenly father and put your faith and trust in him. That's what I'm talking about. What happens preacher when I do that? Then by his blood, watch it now. Boy, boy, boy. By his blood, he'll change you. Glory to God. By his blood, he changed me. Glory to God, and even you women over here, amen? Yes, what's that there? Say that again. He changed me. Yes, he did, glory to God. That's what I'm talking about. Jesus Christ said I changed not yet, but there's one thing when I say we must change I'm not talking about quitting your drinking cussing a line. That's not what I'm talking about Realize you're a sinner and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Amen. Oh Glory, I'm glad it's that way. Aren't you glad? Salvation does not change my hasn't changed. Hey, man, glory to God to be on a winning side I'd be glad when she's old enough to speak. Yeah, I She'll speak some time while I'm preaching, but anyway, but she's a beauty. That little girl came up to the door and did this to me. Isn't that sweet? First time she's ever done that. Let me get back to the sermon here, amen. Total trust in Jesus Christ. And when you do that, then by his blood. Can you believe that? He changes us. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 17, Therefore, watch it now, therefore, if any man be in Christ, he's a new creature. God recreates us, even though we're dirty, stinking, good for nothing, rotten sinners, he still changes us. That means God forgave you for every sin you ever committed. I was thinking about something when I was putting this sermon together. I've never used this illustration before, but the Bible says, Paul said he saved a wretch like me. I put that in that song. My name is written there, the word wretch. And I looked that up the other day. You know what wretch means? Unworthiness, a miserable person, a worthless mortal. One profoundly unhappy. Vile. Dirty. And glory to God, Paul said, he saved a wretch like me. And I say that he saved a wretch like Paul Dabdoo, amen? And I'll say this, he saved the wretch like you, amen? He did. Glory to God, he took us and he saved us and he set us free. I thank God for the forgiveness. Think of all the sins. You've heard me say this a thousand times. Think of how many sins our Heavenly Father has forgiven you and I for. Something else. You're a seal then. In other words, you are a sealed man or a sealed woman when you get saved. Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God whereby you're sealed until the day of redemption. You know what that means, Lord of God? You know what that means? Amen? There I go, all right, baby. That means you're going to heaven whether you like it or not, amen? Amen. Glory to God. We're heaven bound with the hammer down, all right? That's right. Amen. Forgiveness. How important is it to be forgiven? Oh, I tell you. You say, well, I just take that for granted. I know that. But don't take it for granted. When you got saved, he forgave you of everything. Every word, every thought, every action that you've ever done, and he guaranteed you heaven. Boy, I tell you, Brother Wayne, when he took his last breath there Sunday, let me tell you something, he went from here to there. Your husband's in heaven. And I guarantee you, knowing Brother Wayne McKinley, he don't want back, amen? He loves his family, but ain't nobody leaving heaven to come back here in this old sinful world, amen? You can sleep tonight, like I said, and not be afraid. Since God does not change, your salvation will never change. Whoo, glory. Think about that. Since God says there's no variableness, he doesn't change, he doesn't vary like we do from time to time. When you got saved, the reason why you're saved forever is because when he saved you, he did something for you and he did something for me that'll never change. You got it. Glory to God, you can't buy it. It's the best thing you ever got the day that you got born again, amen? You may not ever be rich financially, But you are rich. You have eternal life. You didn't pay for that. Jesus paid for it. All your sins are gone. That's pretty good, you're a rich person to have that. Jesus Christ is your mediator. You can run and talk, that is the God anytime you want. And Jesus Christ steps and gets you there. He says, I'm the way, yes, for salvation, but that's why when we pray, we pray through Jesus' name so we can reach our Heavenly Father. And here's something else. Here's something else that doesn't change. Y'all with me so far? Here's something else that doesn't change. You go to heaven immediately. You don't ever have to be afraid. You go to bed at night, if you die in your sleep, you're immediately absent from the body, like I said, it's death. But to be present with who? Woo, glory the Lord. Amen? Thank God for Jesus Christ. Woo, glory. I'm so glad I got a Savior. That doesn't change. Amen? And not only that, but you'll have a place in heaven, a mansion that He's made for you. Money can't buy it. The best mansion for you to live in. And again, one of those things I can't answer. Do we live by ourself? Doubt it. I don't want a mansion by myself anyway. I guess I'd take it, I'd rather have that, but then not have it, I don't want to go to hell, amen, so I'll take the mansion. Glory to God, I'll take the mansion if it's just for me. But think about all of you in here have family that has gone on before you. Wouldn't it be nice if that mansion was shared with your family? But, like I said a while ago at the beginning, there's some questions I can't answer. That's an example of one of them. How God is gonna bring those that are asleep in the ground, or even those that have been broken apart by fire, together at the rapture, and when we come back with him, and bring him out of the grave and put him together. You say, preacher, how's he gonna do that? I'm honest. You got an honest preacher? I don't know. See, that's one of those things that we can't figure out. But God gives us enough here, and all I can tell you is trust Him by faith. If God does not explain something to you and me, then believe it by faith! You all with me? Believe it by faith! because you're saved by faith. Live the rest of your life by faith. Believe everything that I've just preached to you from this book here. Believe it by faith. Trust Him, amen? Trust your Heavenly Father. You don't have anything to worry about whether you live another day, another 10 years, another five years. We don't know, but trust Him because God never changed. In way of review, number one, God has not changed, the word of God has not changed, and the way to salvation has not changed. Amen? You all with me? You glad you're saved? You glad you're on a winning side? Are you glad you're heaven bound with a hammer down? Whoo, glory, I'm glad I'm saved. How about you kids over here, you glad you're saved? Yeah, Jackson, amen. Thank God for these kids that believe and got saved early in life, amen? Thank God for all of you that got saved later in life. It doesn't matter to me as long as you're born again. Every head bowed, every eye closed. Thank you so much for the extra few minutes.
