Praise the Lord. And the power and the glory forever. Amen. Amen. All of God's people said. All right, well, I guess we'll go ahead right into the Word here. You want to get that on, Jim? Hopefully we get a good audio on the live feed. There's some people that can't be here. We have people that listen from different states. We have people that listen from different countries, I understand. And I know online some of the sermons have had hundreds of listeners, and some of those people have actually turned into supporters of the ministry here, and we sure appreciate that, and yours truly. There are some people that want to support yours truly as we go forward in the Word. So anyway, if anybody wants to support us here, they can do so with either Facebook, there's a link there, and or on sermonaudio.com or on the sjrchurch.org website. So with that said, from the start of this series of messages, I have expressed to everyone who's heard the messages that our Lord said, if you love me, you will keep my commandments. And it's written, now, by this we know that we know Him if we keep His commandments. Those who say, I know Him and do not keep His commandments are liars, and the truth is not in them. This is what John said, the disciple who was closest to Jesus. Jesus said, you will. He didn't say you could or you might or you should. He said, you will. And there's an absoluteness to that. What he's saying is that you're not going to deliberately, willfully turn your back against whatever it was that he taught, whatever he commanded. And there are many things that he commanded. We're not going to touch on all of those in this series. It would take us probably years. You know, he taught for three years. We'd probably take that long to go through everything that he taught. But the gist of this series of messages is to get everybody in the mindset of obeying what it was that he taught. And you can pick up the Bible for yourself. You can read the words. that very often are written in red, which show you what He taught, and you can learn what He taught so you can guide your life by what He taught. That's that narrow path that He speaks about. It's the narrow way. It's not that broad path. And so as we go forward, we have to remember that God always required His people to obey Him. And that hasn't changed. That's never changed. And remember that Jesus received all authority from the Father, and His authority is the Father's authority, and so therefore He commands the same respect. Okay? If you think about a general in an army, The general says, okay, I'm going to pass down to my lieutenants, or whomever they are in different branches of the service, the leaders get the orders from above, and they have to follow those orders. And the people who receive the orders from those who are lower, they have to obey those orders just as if it came directly from the one above. And this is how it is with Christ. He received all authority from the Father. He made commandments in the name of the Father. And we, as followers of Christ, are to obey, and he said you will obey, His commandments, if you love Him. Almighty God shows mercy to those who love Him and keep His commandments. That's what's written in Exodus chapter 20. God blesses His people who obey Him, and He curses those who don't. This is what He says. It's written in the 11th chapter, and I believe it's the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy. If you want to see the blessings and cursings of God, simply read the book of Deuteronomy. And you'll see, I will bless you with these blessings, and if you're disobedient, I will curse you with these curses. And if you see some of those things in your life, you might say, well, maybe this isn't from the enemy. Maybe this is from God. And you've got to check yourself, okay? Now, as I've said repeatedly throughout this series, it's easy for us to believe that we do obey His commandments, but many do not. Many ignore the commandments of Christ for their own commandments, for their own will, for their own way. And today we're going to see some ways that we see...we will see some ways that we say no to Jesus. But, more importantly, we will see ways to say yes. And this is a very simple teaching. It's something that Jesus taught, and he taught it in various ways, but the most important one, I think, is the one that we're going to look at today in the 25th chapter of Matthew's gospel record. So if you will, open your Bibles there, and if you've got one in this seat, you can open to page 1535 in that Bible. And that is where you'll find Matthew chapter 25. We're going to begin with verse 31. It's Matthew 25, verse 31. And we're going to read through verse 46. Matthew 25, verse 31 and reading through verse 46, and yours truly should open up his Bible, I suppose, and we'd be better equipped to hear what the Word says, huh? Matthew 25 and verse 31, and this is what's written there. When the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the holy angels with Him, Then he will sit on the throne of his glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And he will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the king will say to those on his right hand, Come, you blessed of my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave me food. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me." Now let me pause there for a moment. Isn't this Jesus that's talking? Of course it is. He said, to those who are the righteous, he calls them the righteous, he says, you did this to me. All right. And then the righteous will answer him saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty and give you a drink? When did we see you a stranger and take you in or naked and clothe you? And the king will answer and say to them, or excuse me, or when did we see you sick or in prison and come to you? And the king will answer and say to them, assuredly, I say to you in as much as you did it to one of the least of these, my brethren, you did it to me. Then he will say to those on the left hand, depart from me you cursed into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. And this is where people say it's the devil's hell. It's the devil's place of torment. That's who it was prepared for. For I was hungry, and you gave me no food. I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink. I was a stranger, and you did not take me in, naked, and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison, and you did not visit me.' And then they will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and did not minister to you? And He will answer to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me. And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. I pray that God would add His blessing to the reading and hearing of His Word. So this is Jesus talking. He's teaching a very simple truth. Helping others is the same as helping Him. Now, He didn't say when you gave me a ride whenever I was walking with heavy bags, but it fits. He didn't say when you patched the holes in my car when I couldn't get it through inspection. But it fits. It applies. And so whenever I'm doing these things, and I've done a lot of things like that, and I'm not bragging, please don't take me wrong. I'm sharing it as an illustration. I was on a roof one time, hot sun, pounding shingles, didn't have a nail gun. I was hammering them by hand, flip, nail, flip, nail, flip, nail. You know what I'm talking about, John, the old way. And as I'm up there and I'm working on it, I said, Lord, why did I say yes to this? He said, you're doing it unto me, right? I said, oh yeah, flip now, flip now, flip now. And you know, a lot of times in life, we want to say no to people, especially disagreeable people. But sometimes we need to say yes, not all the time. Now, don't get me wrong there either, because it's not say yes to everybody all the time, or you'll end up not having any time for yourself or for the Lord for that matter. But there are times when the Lord will lead you to do things that maybe you're not comfortable with, or maybe, just maybe, it'll take up more time than you expected. And after all, you've got a lot of things to do. Everybody's busy, right? You've got a life to live. You've got things to take care of. You have people to deal with. You have to work, all of us do. But here's the Son of God. He's about to sacrifice His life. He's going to give His life for the sins of the world. And what's He teaching about? He's teaching on sacrifice. That's what it is, it's a sacrifice. And your life becomes a living sacrifice when you say yes. to the Lord by being there for other people, whether it's in the way of food or clothes, housing, whether it's in the way of visiting them when they're sick or in prison, whether it's whatever way, because you're saying yes to Him. And he's foretelling of his coming in power to judge the world. Now, remember, he's a lowly carpenter. He was trained in carpentry, and the guy that raised him, he was a carpenter. Carpenters weren't high on the socioeconomic scale of the day. They weren't someone to boast proudly of all their riches. No, they were just common people. And here he is, he's talking about what? Coming in power? Coming in might? This is beyond our comprehension. He's just an itinerant preacher. He's going from town to town preaching on the good news that God brings salvation. And he says the holy angels will be with him, and he'll divide the people into categories like a shepherd divides sheep from goats. Now, think about this, okay? There's going to be all these multitudes of people, and you say, okay, sheep, check, over to the right. Goat, check, over to the left. Right. Sheep, right. Goat, left. Goat, left. Goat, left. Goat, left. There's going to be more goats than sheep, you know, because the wide road is full of people. All right. It's full of souls. That's what he says in his word. He says there's going to be fewer sheep than there are goats, but he's going to divide them. In another place, he talks about the wheat and the tares and how God is going to divide the wheat and the tares. The king will say to those on the right hand, Come, you blessed of my father, and inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. The kingdom was prepared in advance? Yeah, in advance, from the foundation of the world. Your eternal reward is already waiting for you. You're just going toward it. You're just moving in that direction. Our Lord went on to say that those souls were qualified to inherit the promises, and He said like this, okay? This is why He said they were qualified to inherit the promises. You fed me, you took care of my thirst, you gave me a place to stay, you gave me clothes to wear, you visited me when I was sick or in jail. So some would say, well, you're talking works now, Pastor John. You're saying that Jesus wants us to work for it. After all, we could pull out our, well, here, I got a sheet here, so I did this, and I did that, and I, I, I. But no, that's not your work to get you there, see? He's saying that the work shows you're on your way. That's what he's talking about. It doesn't get you there. You can't check off, well, I did that. I did that. Look at all this I got in my pocket. Yep, I'm going to heaven. No, that's not the way it works. We could see that they said yes when he needed food. They said yes when he needed a drink. Said yes when he needed clothes. Said yes when he needed a place to stay. Said yes when he needed to be ministered to, whether he was sick or in prison. I once said to a group of ministers, you know, we ought to do a concerted effort on prison ministry. We ought to work together. And one pastor proudly said, that's an individual thing. We just do that for ourselves. Okay, let me see, where's that written? Jesus said, only do that when it's one of your sheep that goes to jail, right? No, that's not what he said. Anyway, that's a side note, it's a pet peeve of mine, I guess. I don't want to visit people in prison, because after all, they committed a crime. I'm not going to go into that thing, but let's just say Jesus said to visit them. As the text continues, it refers to those who took good care of the king as the righteous. He calls them the righteous. And if we allow the text to express the teaching of our Savior, and we allow that text to penetrate our minds, we hear exactly what He said. We hear what He actually said. He said the righteous take care of His needs. Now, how does he express his needs but through other people? He's not coming to you himself. Do you see Jesus walking down the aisle here? Hey, come on, give me a hand. I need help. I'm hungry. I'm thirsty. Look, I don't have any clothes. I need a place to lay my head. He didn't even have a place to lay his head. He told people that. I'm in jail. Well, he was arrested. Now, the guy that we all follow, he was arrested. That's right. He was what they called a criminal. Think about that. Let that sink in for a moment, okay? He was homeless. He didn't have a regular job. He was doing ministry for the Lord. He devoted his life to the Father above, and people all pitched in to help him. Where do you think you got the illustration? When you did it to the least of these, my brethren, you did it to me. When Paul was persecuting the church, what did he say? Paul, Paul. Saul, Saul at the time before he was converted, why do you persecute me? And Saul said, who are you, Lord? He said, I'm Jesus, the one you're persecuting. Actually, Yeshua is his real name, and that's what he would have used. He wouldn't have called himself Jesus. There wasn't even a J in the language. But anyway, that's another side note. So you might say, hey, Lord, when did we see you and meet your need for food, drink, housing, clothes, and comfort, huh? When did we take care of you? And he says, well, when you did it to the least of these. Yeah. And then we might say, what? How? What do you mean, Lord? What are you talking about? You mean when somebody asked me for help, me saying yes is actually saying yes to you? That's pretty much what he's saying there. That's pretty clear, okay? That's the way it's written. And now I want to continue looking at the text. In verse 41, Yeshua said, Then the king will say to those on the left, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. That's bad news, isn't it? Somebody asked me recently, Do you preach good news or do you preach hellfire and brimstone? I said, Well, whatever the text requires. I don't skip a part because it doesn't feel good. I have to preach the whole counsel of God's Word, not just the part that feels good. And the good news is worthless without the bad news. It's just news. He said he's going to tell them to depart, be cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. And then I have to say, what? Why? That's not fair. How dare he condemn souls to everlasting fire? Who does he think he is anyway? I was taught that He was love. I was taught that He loves everybody just the way they are. I was taught that He would never hurt anybody. How dare He do that? How could He do this? When we think about the modern theology of Christ, we don't hear this part, and put that part in a drawer and shut that drawer tight and lock it up so nobody can get it out. But it's in the Word of God, so we have to look at it, folks. Jesus taught the Jews which believed on him, if you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Free, not locked up, free. Imagine that. Free from what? free from error, free from lies, free from deception, free from convoluted translations of God's Word. At the judgment, He'll tell those who said no to the hungry, no to the thirsty, no to the homeless, no to the naked, no to the sick and imprisoned souls, that they said no to Him. What? You mean saying no to them is equal to saying no to Him? Well, that's what He said. The Lord of Glory is the righteous judge, not me. He looks at the fruit to discern the type of tree that he's looking at. If he sees an orange, he says, yeah, that's an orange tree. If he sees an apple, he says, yeah, that's an apple tree. If he sees righteous fruit, he says, yeah, that's one of mine. If he sees unrighteous fruit, he says, no, goats over there. He knows your heart better than you know it. Remember what's written in the seventh chapter of Matthew's gospel record. Every good tree brings forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. Neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire. Wherefore, by their fruits you shall know them. Now here he's talking about false teachers, but it applies to all. It applies to all of us. Our fruit is evidence of our heart. What we produce, what comes out of us, how we live our lives shows the world and, more importantly, our Creator, who we are. It shows who we are to Him in relationship to Him. It's all about relationship. And as we go on in that same chapter 7 of Matthew's gospel record, we hear, "...not everyone that says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name?" Wait a minute, prophesied? You're talking about believers here, right? That's what he says, prophesied in your name. Cast out devils? They're working in his name. They are supposedly believers and in your name done many wonderful works. And he says, he'll profess to them, I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work iniquity. You who work iniquity, get out of here. I don't know you. You're with the goats over here to the left. And they were taught, once they're saved, they're always saved, right? And they could say, wait a minute, Jesus, I was taught, once I'm saved, I'm always saved. Who do you, who do you think you are telling me I'm not saved? The preacher said I was! The doctrine said I was! Well, Jesus said He doesn't know you. Doesn't that mean if we're saved that we can say no to all these hungry, thirsty, homeless, naked, sick, and imprisoned souls? Doesn't that mean we can ignore them? Because after all, we have our salvation. We've got it in our pocket. We wrote it on a card one time after we said a little prayer. Ask our Lord. Check with Him to see if you are saved. Because He's the discerner of the fruit. He is the righteous judge. He'll tell you. He'll speak to you if you honestly open up and say, Lord, am I saved? Or am I deceived into thinking that I am? Ask yourself. There's so many needy, you might say. There's so many, I can't help them all. I can't possibly say yes to all of them. I won't have any food or drink for myself. I won't have any time to myself. I'll be ministering to everybody else's needs. Hmm. Sounds like Jesus. And aren't we supposed to be like Him? We say we are. How much like Him are we, really? And I know this is a challenging message. We're going to get to the good news, folks, okay? Don't get me wrong. We are going to get to the good news. But you've got to hear the bad news to know how good the good news is. The righteous go into life eternal. We've already touched on that because He says they do. This was only one of many times that he taught on this topic. And after teaching the parable of the wheat and the tares, after he taught about the wheat and the tares that I mentioned earlier, it's written in Matthew 12, verse 43, after the judgment, he says, the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father, who hath an ear to hear, let him hear. Now, I want you to open your Bible to the third chapter. of John's gospel record. John 3, this is very familiar for a lot of people. Probably most believers have heard it at least once in their life. It's one of the ones that's used to draw souls out of darkness and into God's marvelous light. John 3, you'll find that on page 1639 in the Bible there in your seats, 1639. We're going to begin at verse 15, and we'll read just through verse 21. John 3, beginning at verse 15, and this is what's written there. that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Do you believe in Him? For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God, and this is the condemnation. Pay attention. The light has come into the world, and men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God. That's the good news. The light has come into the world, and we have the awesome, awesome responsibility of sharing that light with everyone else. And how do we do that? Well, part of it, the way we do it, is right here in this building, is we share the Word. And we do it through online venues, by sharing the message. But you have to look even a little further down. John the baptizer said, He that believes on the Son has everlasting life, and he that believes not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. Unbelievers are in danger, folks, grave danger. The wrath of God abides on them. And I want you to hear what's written in Daniel chapter 12. But first, think about this. The good news is great news. It's great news. It's news that we recognize because there is bad news. And God has made a way for the good news. And we simply get to share that good news. It's the only good because it's the answer to the bad. Bad news is what made the good news so good. And it's what appeals to people. Everybody likes good news, right? Hey, it's going to be a beautiful day today. Good news, right? Oh, there's some thunderstorms coming. There's a tornado on the way. Bad news. And whenever you hear about the sun coming out, you go, man, that's some good news. That feels real good after you hear about the tornado warning, right? I remember one time we were sitting in a house down here. And on the news screen, they're showing the big red, dark purple, whatever it is, all this stuff coming right into Shekorah. And they were calling it, coming into Shekorah. There's a tornado heading for Shekorah. On the news, Channel 11, I think it was. And there was a guy that was in there. He was not able to go down into the basement. They're saying, everybody get into your basement, because it's going to hit any moment. And I said, Lord, we can't go to the basement, because we're not leaving him up here. So if you're taking us home, take us home to glory. But if you're not, then get this thing out of here. And right before our eyes, on the television screen, and the guy says, I don't know what happened. There must be a technical difficulty. It's no longer there. I said, praise the Lord. We just prayed a simple prayer. We weren't alone, I'm sure. But it evaporated. It was gone. All right? Now, God does answer prayer, folks. But He wants us to be obedient to Him. Now, everybody in that room, except for the guy that couldn't, could have ran down into the basement. Hope you make it through! Or we could sit it out with Him, and we decided faithfully to sit it out with Him. Now hear what's in Daniel chapter 12. Many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament. Haven't we heard that before? Oh, that's right, Jesus said that. Well, who do you think he was quoting? And they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. He's telling us those who go out and do the work of the gospel, who share the good news, who tell the bad news and then give the answer to the bad news, which is the good news, which is Christ, which is Yeshua, the Messiah of God. When we bring people into His kingdom, we receive eternal rewards, and we don't even know what that is. He calls it shining as bright as the firmament. We each have a final destiny, folks. The Messiah of God came to set the captives free. That's what He said. He didn't come to lock people into bondage. And there's many today that teach in Christian churches and in Christian associations and fellowships and Facebook or whatever. You're going to hear people binding you up. You've got to do this. You've got to do that. And they'll do it in the name of the Bible or do it in the name of Christ or do it in the name of God. And you know what? They're liars. He didn't come to bind people. He came to set you free. Set you free. He set you free from your sins. You know, the Pharisees were ones to tie on heavy loads on people, bind them. And Jesus commented about that. He says, you bind people with these heavy burdens and you don't even lift a finger to help them with them. He criticized them for it. God's a God of grace. He's a God of mercy. He'll guide you into all righteousness by His Holy Spirit. That's what He says. He came to feed the hungry souls. He came to give life-sustaining spiritual water to dry and thirsty souls. He came to give everlasting dwelling places to His people, to those who were homeless in the spiritual sense. He came to give spiritual clothes and to heal sick souls and give freedom to the prisoners. Everlasting comfort to all that believe. That's a spiritual or more esoteric picture of Him speaking about when you did it to them, you did it to Me. When you said yes to them, you said yes to Him. So you're bringing the message of God's love to the people that need it. Those who are hungry for the truth. Those who are thirsting for righteousness. Those who are naked spiritually, those who are imprisoned by sin, those who are homeless. Evidence of your belief is seen in the way that you say yes to Him. In John chapter 5, it's written, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word and believes on Him that sent me has everlasting life. and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death into life. You know, there are many in the Christian church that condemn people. They condemn you if you don't believe the way they believe. You don't believe their doctrine that they've developed or some spiritual leader of their particular demonic nation church. And it's insane because he didn't come to bring condemnation. He came to bring life, to bring it more abundantly. He says, You're passed from death into life. Verily, verily, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live. For as the Father has life in Himself, so has He given to the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Marvel not at this. for the hours coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice." Now there is more good news. He's talking about the resurrection. Those who are in the graves will be raised to new life. And they that have done evil to the resurrection of damnation. There is a judgment day, folks. That's not a good news thing for a lot of people. But you know what? For those who believe, that is the best news. It's the absolute best news that you could receive because there is a resurrection. He says so. And when he says it, he means it. He's not just saying it to make you feel good. He's telling you, you're going to be resurrected to new life. You're going to have everlasting life with your creator. Evidence, again, as I said, of your belief is seen in the way that you say yes to Him. That's just one of the ways. There's many ways. But when you say yes to Him, when you say yes, you're bearing fruit to His kingdom, to His glory. And hear what Job says in chapter 19, I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth. And after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God, whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, if not another, how my heart yearns within me. There's very often whenever I'm doing a funeral or a memorial service, I'll bring this passage to bear on the souls that are present because that is the hope that Christ expressed in His sharing of Himself to the world. When He shed His blood, He made it possible for all whosoever will may come and receive that life-giving sacrifice to cover their sin. That's the good news, and to have everlasting life. We know this life isn't that great. Now, some of us have a blessed life. There's no doubt about that. We're all well-fed. We're all covered with a roof. We all have clothes on our back. None of us are sick. Well, you know, some of us might have some sicknesses. None of us are in prison. You might say, yet. Things keep going the way they're going. We might be in prison for our faith, but right now, we can freely preach the Word. And God says that you're His people. You're His people. And you have a part in that resurrection. You will see your Redeemer because He does live. And you will see Him with your own eyes. As I wrap this up, I want you to remember that if you love Him, you will obey His commandments. He doesn't say you might. He doesn't say you should. He doesn't say you could. He said you will. Say yes to Jesus. Be blessed by obeying what He taught. Saying yes and helping others doesn't get you into heaven. And there's a lot of people that want to say, well, I checked this off and I checked that off and I did this and I did that. They think they got a checklist and they're going to get into heaven because after all, by golly, they did exactly what Jesus said. No, it doesn't get you there, but it shows that you're on your way. You don't do it to get there. You do it because you love Him. There's a difference. It's evidence that you're on your way. Say yes. Set aside the fear of the problems of this life. You know, if I feared every time I said yes to somebody, oh, I'm sorry, I got a tight schedule. I can't. I'm sorry, Rosalie, you're going to have to walk home today. I can't. I've got...I'm sorry. Maybe you shouldn't have bought so much soda pop. Come on, we'll move some stuff out of the way in the van, we'll take you home. And yeah, we're on a tight schedule. Sorry, I can't stick around and chat with you. I'll get you to the house, we'll get you unloaded, and we've got to run." And that's just one example, folks. And again, I'm not beating my own drum. I'm not blowing my own horn. I'm just saying I understand this message very clearly. Say yes. Set aside the fear, the problems of this life. Remember that God said, try Him in your giving. Try Him and see if He doesn't pour out blessings upon you. Try Him. Say yes by allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you. The Holy Spirit is your guide if, in fact, you're born again. And if you're not sure you have the Holy Spirit, the Word tells us, for those who aren't sure, pray and ask, and God, who is faithful, will give you His Holy Spirit. Say yes by helping others. And as you say yes by helping others, share the good news. Hey, do you know what? Have you heard of Jesus? Have you heard of God's Messiah? He's the one that enables me to help you. And share the good news, share the gospel, because remember, those who bring others into the kingdom shine brighter in the end for everlasting life. And I don't know what that means. I'm not going to even try to look into that, but I'll tell you this. I want to hear, well done, my good and faithful servants. Come on into the kingdom. That's what I want to hear. And I believe by living my life in love with my Creator and sharing what it is that He has given to me, first and foremost, the ability to speak His Word. And I can't, I'm not much of a speaker otherwise, folks. Not much of anything without Him. I can't do it without Him. Share the message of everlasting life to everyone you encounter, and say yes to God's Messiah. No holds barred, no resistance, open-handedly, yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. I'll serve you. He said yes to others by giving his life on that cross. And he said, saying yes to others is equal to saying yes to him. Hear what he has to say and then do it. Just do it. He said, you will, if you believe in him. Just go out there and be his hands and feet and do what it is that he wants you to do. He said, go into all the world. Preach the good news. share the gospel, baptize people in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. And we're going to have a baptism service probably sometime in August, I'm thinking. And if you know anybody that needs to know the Lord, bring them in here. We'll feed them the gospel. We'll teach them what it is that He taught. Maybe each and every one of us will be able to draw one more soul into the kingdom. And if we do that, next year we'll have twice as many people here. We're going to have more than that, the Lord showed me, so let's pray. Father, we thank You. We thank You that You do live. We thank You that we know You shall stand on the earth. We know that after our skin is destroyed, that in our flesh, we will see You. We'll see You for ourselves. Our eyes will behold you and not another, and how our hearts yearn within us. Come, Lord Jesus, help us as we hear the word to believe on you, Heavenly Father. Help us, Lord, to lead others out of condemnation, that they would pass from death into life. Help us, Lord, to realize that the hour is coming when the dead will hear your voice and those that hear shall live. And as you have life in yourself, so you've given life to the Son, and He has life in Himself and has given Him authority. You've given Him authority to execute judgment. Help us, Father. that we would live saying yes to your Messiah as we say yes to others that are in need. We pray this all in Christ's name and all of God's people said, Amen. All right. Well, I guess we could open our hymnals to number 58. And after we sing number 58, we'll receive an offering. Number 58, and if you can stand. Yeah, we could do all four, Rosalie. Number 58. We actually have five. Five verses. And they're short, they're quick. Jesus, the very thought of Thee. Number 58.
