Very interesting. This is very interesting, and I will need to listen a few more times.
This is the first time I have ever heard this section of scripture explained in this way. The Darby/Scofield method is all I have ever been exposed to prior to this.
Real blessing! This message is a real blessing!
When Jesus cried out from the cross, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me!!?", that is a forsaking that goes astronomically beyond any we as humans can conceive.
The unity of the Godhead had never known any internal separation, nor division, nor internal rejection...only perfect, untainted Love, because God IS Love.
Jesus, in His life in the form of a man, had never known anything but unblemished, incorruptible submission to His God and Father. Suddenly, there He is, the Lamb of God, bearing the sin of the world in His body on the tree, forsaken to suffer alone, that He should fulfill all that is written in the law and prophets to bring us to God.....and it was necessary the Father, with whom He had only ever known perfect unity and love, had to leave Him alone, carrying our condemnation.....because God so loved the whole world....and because God so hates sin.
Great Sermon! So good to hear the truth being spoken about what is actually happening and had happened in Southern Africa, the betrayal of which had positioned China in control of Southern African mineral wealth and underwritten by that; as an emerging global Megapower that will eclipse the former might of the now defunct USA, UK and the EU.
The behind the scenes workings of the forces of darkness associated with these developments is something modern leaders aren't aware of, cannot understand and will never be able to counter.
And it is not even as if they will be spared the culmination of these events at Armageddon because by that time they will have been usurped by parasitic radical fundamentalist sub-cultures that would have changed forever everything that once defined them as free nations and that will be a worse state to be in domestically than any foreign confrontation with the Sino Soviet Islamic alliance that will rise out of the might of China

3. What you experienced was blood money enriching yourself and enabling his sponsorship of bloody terrorism. May God have mercy on your soul - before you die.
1. The shooting of one person, this unfortunate WPC, does not constitute a reason for going to war with another country. That would be stupid.
2. Pan AM 103 was NOT a Libyan job. Try going further east to a country which is fast becoming a greater problem today.
3. If this stupid morally corrupt badly run, because of socialist and liberal idologies, country of Britain was able to provide enough work for its people then I wouldn't have needed to go abroad. But I did, to several countries and met ordinary folk like the Libyans, good people suffering under another socialist government and found that socialists the world over are the same - they couldn't run a bus que never mind a nation.
Its great news that they've got a chance for better government.
Jim Lincoln wrote: God wouldn't have "mercy on his soul" Traveller, unless he repented and committed himself to Christ, and from his previous statements, I doubt that, that happened.
Matt 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Having worked in Libya for a couple of years in the early 1990's and experienced the lack of education, the inequality in a country which styled itself as "socialist" the genuine fear on some faces against the ruling tribes, and the sense of evil in one of the "friends" of Quaddafi; - I can say that I agree with Mr Orwell who wrote 'some animals are more equal than others', (in your average socialist state).
Today Quaddafi is finding out the truth. May God have mercy on his soul.
John UK wrote: The simple fact that God will judge those who reject the gospel,
Ah now John, That is a paradox you have posted.
I have travelled all over this world, as far east as China and as far west as America, and seen quite a lot in between. One thing I have observed is that the Gospel is not preached and heard in every nation. How then can *ALL* people reject it?
(Your endeavour to critique the Reformed Doctrine is coming up with quite a few little paradoxes, isn't it).
