Michael,ALL of the Bible is Truth, but no one person or group of people possess all Truth. Banned speaks truth about some things. Lately, *Banned* is making more sense. It isn't easy to go against "accepted" truth - to be seen as radical. The Holy Spirit gives the Believer discernment when one measures everything by the Word of God. Don't diss everything *Banned* says just because you disagree with some things. |

Banned wrote: DCJ49, It would be MORE CHRISTIAN of you to respond to my postings with reason and honesty rather than ridicule and misrepresentation. ACTING like a Christian is hypocritical. The world hates hypocrites. And as a Christian, I would rather a person be a rank pagan than a hypocrite.BEING a Christian flows from within and manifests itself outwardly in language, consideration and respect for others, - in essence, it is summed up as love - unselfish and sacrificial - GIVING not TAKING. When one ACTS like a Christian it is for selfish reasons - to gain the approval and/or trust of others, for personal gain and mal-intent - or, to make one feel good about him or herself. When you squeeze an orange, you get orange juice - not lemon juice, or apple juice. When you squeeze a Christian (pressure of circumstances), you still get a fragrance of the Lord Jesus Christ, not some distorted, perverted reaction. "But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceaable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good works, without partiality, and without hypocrisy." James 3:17 |
