Those who hold to the Doctrines of Grace must be weary (longsuffering) of the slanders that they do not pray or care for the lost-the majority of preachers on this website. See the evangelistic literature ministry of the above same preacher and those so many giants of the faith (whole crock of theological none sense ) who God has used to win countless souls.

'Why don't you do this instead, simply let Scripture speak in context of the whole...'

But we need to be careful in thinking that diet is the only cause of all our symptoms and pain. We have charismatic cranks who think you never need to go to the doctor and others who sell Christians a 'healthy' supplement to make mega bucks.

If the Lord has appointed our day of salvation, is the day of our human birth a mere accident? What about the day of our death?

Digging our own graves with our own teeth, but it is interesting how some with a 'healthy' vegetarian diet and exercise regime die relatively young with the same diseases as others who eat unhealthy diets? Or those who live into their 90's and live off fried food and never exercised. Just looking at my own family it is a mystery how some have reached so great an age!

Start with C H Spurgeon and I can find no man since who can lift a finger to his preaching and usefulness.

Only an ignorant man chooses to remain ignorant. Spurgeon from a child drank the Puritans, read/studied Calvin and Bunyan and knew most of His bible off by heart. Preached to 1000's and saw multitudes saved. His sermons are still being used by God to bless untold numbers today.

Why not read what Spurgeon says about the necessity of commentaries. Why does such a mighty man of God recommend such and including Calvin?

Few agree with all that Calvin wrote but few can doubt that he was a mighty instrument of truth and according to Spurgeon the Prince of Preachers... the best of commentators:
