If you went to a faithful Bible believing church 'the vocalist' is normally the Pastor, but the rest of the instruments are as equally valued and important-fellow pilgrims and brothers and sisters in the family of faith. Some never pray out loud and are indeed shy by nature, but just as equally loved and valued.
IF you can play guitar in a group are you hiding behind the others?
I am certain your conscience will grant no excuse for you not now attending a sound church, unless of course your conscience is not yet 'spiritually' awakened? That seems to be your biggest problem
