Liza Jane.

Grace comes from God - Not from sinners.

Best you look to God for Grace rather than your denomination for Bible theology.

John, I apologize for my comment, I should have said the Catholic catechism. Your post--And the fact remains that the poster called look up stated that the Catholic Bible in Exodus 20:4 omits the Second Commandment. And that has been proven to be a complete and total fabrication which means a lie which is a sin. So stop sticking up for lying.

I didn't intentionally lie, I was misinformed. Nevertheless, this makes the RCC all the more guilty of breaking the second commandment by worshiping false idols, Deut. 4:15-16, "Take careful heed to yourselves, for you saw no form when the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire, lest you act corruptly and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or FEMALE." Wherever it may or may not be found in the RCC doctrine, this is what the infallible word of God says about idolatry.

Yamil...let me ask you this then, when you were saved, what took place? Did you wake up one morning and decide it was a good day to follow Christ, or did the Almighty humble you and break your pride?

From Apprising ministries...
Let me summarize the three basic positions on the will of man in relationship to ability to choose to obey God: 1) Pelagianism like that of Finney teaches that humans are fully able to obey God without any special work of grace. The mere presence of a command from God, they say, requires the reality of free will ability to comply. 2) Semi-Pelagians teach that without prevenient grace, man would not be able to respond freely to the call to believe; but that God has already provided such grace to all humans. “Prevenient” is an old English term that means “to go before.” The semi-Pelagian view is also synergistic—meaning that salvation and sanctification are a cooperative effort between God and man.
3) Luther and the other reformers taught the bondage of the will. This position, anathematized by Rome in several canons on justification, was that all fallen sinners are in bondage to their own sin so much so that they will not submit to God without a prior sovereign work of God’s grace. This became the Reformation doctrine of “grace alone,” also called “monergism.” By this thinking salvation is an act of God alone. I agree with Luther on this matter.

Again, the RCC reveals they are filled with hypocrisy, and false teachings. How can the family be the key to peace, when Christ himself is the Prince of Peace? Does the pope believe the family, like their idolatrous worship of the virgin Mary, usurps Christ? Also, why does the catholic bible conveniently omit the second commandment pertaining to creating graven images [Exodus 20:4-6]? Could it be so they can justify their 'golden calf'??? It is strange that 'immaculate conception', 'mother of God' and 'purgatory' or NO WHERE to be found in God's holy word. It is also sad that so many catholics have no assurance of salvation, claim to have apparitions of someone who is long gone, and do not realize that visions of ghosts and such do not come from God, but from Satan. The biggest tragedy is those who follow these man-made doctrines, and are led straight to hell by them. Jesus scolded men for adding man-made rules and rituals to God's word, yet, here again, the catholic faith is repeating the very same thing. It proves God's word is true, there is nothing new under the sun {Ecclesiastes}.

Tony; Thank you for a much needed laugh. I roared when I read your post! I enjoy your wonderful sense of humor, which I think is needed from time to time in such a dark, deceptive world. God bless!!

This tragic story has no ties whatsoever with the Catholic church. I don't agree at all with their teachings, but that is not what this story is about. This is a very real reminder of the fact that evil spirits and demonic possession are just as common today as in Christ's day. We need to put on the armor of God [Ephesians chapter six].

It looks like the very words of Christ are unfolding, 'wars and rumors of wars'. Between this and the unrest in Pakistan, as well as everything else unfolding, this is indeed an exciting, yet heartbreaking time. Here's an eye-opening link...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG3UryPK9iM
