The Seamless Gospel This is a scholarly and non-boring presentation of the gospel-human relationship. It is seamlessly knitted together from Old and New Testaments. Preached in context of the time. Encouraging. |

Great Sermon! Edifying message. The elect do not defile themselves with the harlot, dead religion. We rest in Him. "We are not following to achieve something", the deceived don't get it. They sneak in their works, either through Arminianism or Reformed Calvinism, some combine bits and pieces from both. They follow teachers of men, like Calvin, and feast on the lie, like Calvins heretical 'third law' dung. Or Spurgeon, who mixed truth with error, which is nothing but the lie, who sang the praises of heretic Wesley. They hold fast to man's doctrine like progressive sanctification, which shows they do not comprehend Christ has put away sin. They scream antinomian, yet they themselves are daily law breakers. The remnant obey His commandments, loving the brethren, and by the power of the Spirit obey the likes of Gal.5.
Reverence for God causes hatred for all that is false, we cut those who preach and follow that which is false NO slack.
We follow Christ, not man made camps like Arminianism, reformed Calvinism, or sovereign grace. These are 666, the inventions of men, teaching doctrines of men, imperfect and of the flesh. They compromise, they do not follow the true Lamb."those that Christ speaks of as following Him, they follow the teachings of His apostles"- amen Gary |

Chris, Excellent points - a thread concerning drinking, Christmas, or Easter will have over 300 comments, but a thread concerning the growing apostasy within organized religion, the passing of laws that broaden the ability to legally murder a child, the increase in immorality, perversion, idolatry, etc. get little to no responses.I've been reading Jerry Bridges 'respectable sins' and it really hits home. So many can point out the sins of OTHERS, but....how many bother examining their OWN hearts? How many cry out to God to show them their own sins and smite them? Self righteousness is so easy to fall into, we forget we are what we are because of ANOTHER. We are all still sinners, imperfect as we travel through this life on a journey to a better country. The sins within professing Christians should be of greater concern than this young man choosing not to wrestle a girl. It's time we STOP looking outward, and look INWARD. ladybug |

Great Sermon! This is an excellent message, and very much needed for this present day. Spurgeon's words are just as relevant today as they were when he originally spoke them. Praise God for such bold preaching!
From the sermon, " If I am wrong upon other points, I am positive that the sin of this age is impurity of doctrine, and laxity of faith. Now you know you are told every Sunday that it does not signify what you believe; that all sects and denominations will be saved; that doctrines are unimportant things; that as to the doctrines of God's grace, they are rather dangerous than otherwise, and the less you inquire about them the better; they are very good things for the priests, but you common people cannot understand them. Thus they keep back a portion of the gospel with cautious reserve; but having studied in the devil's new Jesuitical college, they understand how to call themselves particular Baptists, and then preach general doctrines, to call themselves Calvinists, and preach Arminianism, telling the people that it does not signify whether they preach damnable heresies instead of the truth of God."
Where is this boldness today? Today we have 'Christians' locking arms with error and those who cleave to it! What a shameful thing this is. |

Excellent sermon! My daughter and I really appreciated this message, thank-you. Such an important reminder that we must keep praying and crying out to the Lord and "the grace of God will be bestowed in its fullest at its proper time." |

Great Sermon! This sermon is excellent, and very much needed. It hits the nail on the head, when he said this is a life of misery, he is so right. As a former lesbian, saved by the grace of God, I can attest to the fact that this abomination is a life filled with total misery. The homosexual agenda will never admit this, it would not enable them to shove their perversion down America's throat. May God have mercy, may He open the blind eye, the deaf ear. |
