His favourite preachers- J C Ryle and C H Spurgeon; a good guide to the fact that he is in the mindset of historical biblical Christianity (I'd call him a Protestant, but he wouldn't like it!).
The particular mystic lady he referred too is also referred to favourably by Spurgeon and Pink.

I could go on, but base my findings on having had contact with John and reading his posts, off and on, for 13 years. He isn't perfect and doesn't claim to be, but he is still defending his firm convictions … 1689 Reformed Baptist. The same convictions as the great C H Spurgeon.
I believe we can easily forgive any mistaken outbursts; even if we only be guilty of the same ourselves in thought.
At least John can usually be nailed down 'doctrinally', but can we
