Great Sermon! Proverbs 8:36 (KJV)
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
We live in a culture of death because man hates GOD and His Christ. Read, study, and meditate on Psalm 2. The ROOT that needs the AXE, is the hatred of The Lord Jesus Christ and His elect. The apostasy of the False Church (works religion and will-worship and glorifying man, which is idolatry) is a greatest part of the is hatred and is growing steadily day by day. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3.
THE GOD OF ALL COMFORT Psalm 39:4 (KJV)
Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.
What a blessing and a comfort to be owned by Christ...But oh how I long to know You more and more...and to be with You at last!
Thank you Duane for reading these sermons for willing ears and willing hearts.
FAITHFUL PREACHING Exodus 32:30-35 continued....
30 And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, Ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin.
31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
35 And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.
FAITHFUL PREACHING Exodus 32:15-35 King James Version (KJV)
15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strawed it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them?
22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
One more thought among many... Seemingly the world is in an uproar or Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? Psalm 2:1. We who are the LORD's people; who are Born Again of Christ's Spirit are not to fear or fret or run to and fro like lost sheep. Stay in The Scriptures and draw Strength and Faith, and Wait upon the LORD Psalm 37.(Ps.16:5; Ps.18:39).
How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. Psalm 139:17,18.As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness. Psalm 17:15. Corinthians 15:55-57 (KJV)
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
WATCH AND PRAY...THE KING OF GLORY IS COMING!!!
Thank you for reading these sermons! So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. Psalm 90:12
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. Psalm 116:15
I am thinking it was Matthew Henry that said "GOD hides His saints in the grave." There is nothing that comforts like the Holy Scriptures! The LORD's Balm. Blessed be the NAME of the LORD!!!
Thank you for speaking these sermons and books! Matthew Henry has been my Preacher since April 6, 1980. When I fell upon his Unabridged Commentary. At first I did not realize The Hand Of GOD was blessing me. Not knowing the dastardly apostasy and pernicious doctrines and man worship that has infected these places called churches that was going on then, and now coming to fruition. It is truly a sad and weeping day to see so much blindness and hatred for THE TRUTH in Christ Jesus who IS AND WAS THE WORD OF GOD! John 1.
...when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments. II Timothy 4:13. Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Titus 2:12-15. Amen and Amen.
Are we really worried about an ad? If you’re that offended by an ad that challenges mediocrity in men, that challenges men to do better than going with the crowd, that calls men to a higher standard than what some cultures call men to or perhaps what some generations have raised SOME men to act like boys, it’s just an ad saying hey, don’t go with the flow, stand out as a man, be the best a man can be... I’ve got to say that if Jesus came to me, we still might throw stones at him the same way we do here over an ad, after all it was Jesus who called men out - to serve rather than be served, to use their power in the world for others and not themselves something completely unheard of back then... he was essentially saying don’t be boys be men and this is what it looks like. I’m sure he offended a lot of people back then.
Great Sermon Series on the Wiles of Satan After listing to the narrative by Duane Linn, I wanted the book for myself. After receiving the book I realized how it had been edited by Solo Deo Gloria Pub. Unnecessarily changing words and rearranging sentences and leaving out so much important information and Scriptures. I can only imagine the horror that William Sprustowe and other Puritan Writers have been defrauded! I am very disappointed but not taken off guard with this slick and subtle way of merchandising and glory seeking for profit...Truly one of the Wiles of Satan!!! Please, Mr. Linn keep on...
Great Sermon! Pastor Hamilton...Be of good courage...Satan is relentless in trying to bring The LORD's people into his pit of unbelief. I was thinking on this sermon and and The Divine Holy Spirit brought to my remembrance of how The LORD Jesus Christ caused me to believe His Doctrine and His Bible when He first saved me. To me this is the greatest gift for the Believer's journey on this cursed earth to His Heaven!!! Praise His NAME! And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (29-39).
Great Sermon! Thank you Pastor Hamilton for putting things back into perspective! Sometimes I feel as though I am being engulfed by the world. As I listened to the preaching of the Word my eyes were lifted from the earth to heaven. I keep you and your family and church in my prayers. Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me. psalm 119:175
And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINTIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered woth great admiration. Revelation 17:5,6 ...
Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
