your wording did you in. If you had said, I would think that a woman would be uncomfortable, or if I were a woman I would not be comfortable or even just, woman walking in the mall wouldn't be comfortable, then you could claim that you did not give your gender away. But you said, I...as a woman. No man would use those words, except a transgender and no one thinks you are a transgender. Also, no is fooled into not realizing you are a woman, see Lurker's comment. Paul used the words as a child because he had been one not because he imagined being one. The question would then arise, why are you not comfortable posting as a woman? It is clear from your posts that you are one. Lots of woman post here and are highly respected. The only one that thinks what you say is diminished because you are a woman is you. |
