John for Jesus said:When Jesus says "I never knew you" do you believe there was ever a time God didn't know something or is "knew" to be taken in a different way then you are thinking? In Ephesians, He chose that believers would be holy and blameless, not that they would have to believe. Don't add to scripture and you will have a better understanding of the love of God. The word used there in Matthew 7:21 is from the Word ginosko which in the biblical usage refers to knowing in the sense of a relationship, something personal. The very same word is used in John 10:27 where He says: "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." He then continues to explain to the Pharisees the reason for their unbelief. Notice His surprising explanation. *[[John 10:25-27 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name, these testify about me. But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. |
