Written in Heaven wrote:
It is clear what I already said.
Once again, are you saying that the Lord hits his children with a rod?
"And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons--My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son.

Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." (Based upon Hebrews 12:5-11)

Are you saying that your god doesn't support the Scripture laws?

Have you not been chastised by God yet?

Question. Does the Lord chastise His children?

Proverbs 13:24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Proverbs 19:18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying

"“We support the Taliban because they are upholding and fighting for our faith — it is for Islam,” he said. “Only God knows for sure whether the Taliban will come here or not. But if you ask me, I think that they will come. Our president has sold out our faith for a little money from the Americans.”"

Now with that kind of mind set spreading throughout the area beyond Afghanistan, there is a growing epidemic of mindless terrorism reaching dangerous proportions, which could be the seeds of bigger things to come!!

"Catholic converts tend to make more of a considered decision to join a theological and intellectual tradition."

Yup!!
S'bout right!!

Faith then becomes an intellectual assent instead of a work of God the Holy Spirit.

Salvation by works!!
Does not work.

Interesting article about a nation which eats dogs???

Quote.....
"Gaegogi literally means "dog meat" in Korean. Gaegogi, however, is often mistaken as the term for Korean soup made from dog meat, bosintang. Selling dog meat has been illegal in South Korea since 1984; however, dog farms still exist and some people still eat dog meat." (Wiki)

"the Vatican's Secretariat for Beatification and Canonization. It will issue a recommendation to the Pope, whose discernment of sainthood is the essential final step."

The idea that evil hearted sinners can promote evil hearted sinners to positions of authority in God's Kingdom, is such a rediculous one that it amazes me that anyone with normal common sense would give any credit to it.

Whats even more rediculoius is that the Roman Catholics have such a conveyor belt industry of this production. This demonstrates how that people who invent their own religion and cannot read the Bible make such a sinful mockery of the truth.

"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

BUT

"And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of."

"Schulz’s research suggests that when babies and young children are “into everything” they are really exploring and discovering."

I would have thought that most parents could have told you this without the science!

Not exactly world shattering news.

Like goes to like!

Liberalism is a disease which spreads beyond the church gates to an all embracing worldliness which loves it. The social gospel is just a form of expression of the same beliefs. Mans belief that he can solve all the problems of society all by his little ole self.
Oh and everybody is really really nice.

"rising levels of immigration from Muslim countries and low birth rates among Europe's indigenous population"

The fruit of the womb is a gift of God.
God does not bless nations who reject Him.

Hag 1:5 Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

11 And I called for a DROUGHT upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground bringeth forth, and UPON MEN, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

Eternal Sonship

“ Great Teaching! ”
Another great teaching by the Professor. The Eternal Sonship of Jesus coupled and proven with the Eternal Fatherhood of God. Prof. Murray approaches this with good Biblical support and clarity. A must hear, if you have ever found the Sonship to be complicated.

"the Deputy Attorney General dealing with them was taken ill and after seeing some 'doctors' was retired 'due to his mental health'. My very incensed informant in the California Department of Education is convinced that the 'doctors' were scientologists who hypnotised him into mental ill-health"

I love a good comedy even if the script does not come to light for forty years.

This is just another case of the religion of gullibility.

Another sign of their rejection of Scripture law and precepts.
Makes it easy for real Christians to perceive they are not the true assembly of God.

16 "Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee."

14 "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."

Just another form of atheism...
Quote.
"As seen in the Basic Points of Buddhism, one doctrine agreed upon by all branches of modern Buddhism is that "this world is not created and ruled by a God."

According to BuddhaNet, a major Buddhist website:

There is no almighty God in Buddhism. There is no one to hand out rewards or punishments on a supposedly Judgement Day. Buddhism is strictly not a religion in the context of being a faith and worship owing allegiance to a supernatural being.
The Buddha himself rejected metaphysical speculation as a matter of principle, and his teachings focused entirely on the practical ways to end suffering." (religionfacts.com)
