I do know the brain washing that goes on in education systems,

but at the same time I understand you don't become a doctor through home schooling, and must learn from secular professionals. I recently looked at the textbook that Bob Jones University uses for Biology: it's a secular, evolutionary, perspective. Yet what they teach is important, because it's possible to separate the Philosophy and Religion from practical and observable science.

Secular professionals that don't share our worldview, nevertheless we use their expertise everyday, be it Engineers who design our building so we don't freeze to death, Surgeons, Language experts, Movie makers, computer programers.

If we believers separate ourselves from these fields, they will indeed be taken over, and we won't even have a website like sermon audio, not to mention a reliance on the same unbelievers that we shun, and call ignorant.

That does not make any sense, care to explain yourself?

I assume you mean everyone should home school?
If that is so, you do realize not every parents is emotionally, and spiritually equipped for such a thing, and infact can do much worse damage when their kids grow up not properly educated, for example cannot read or write, or because of too much of a sheltered life become lost when they enter the real world.

Are you talking about private schooling? Just like seminary, it's a blessing if you can afford it, but we know most of us cannot. Should the church tax its people to make this cheaper or even free? Are you willing to pay 1000$ a month to the church?

How would you feel if your university teacher, took 3 minutes off to get out a carpet, get on his knees, and answer the daily muslim call to prayer?

What about a Roman Catholic starting each class with a prayer to Mary?

Or a Pentacoastal, during a rather difficult class going "Jesus! Oh Jesus! JESUS, JESUS, JESUS! Save us!"

I think people tend to see the world with rose tinted glasses, but forget that there are now more unbelievers, more cults in the world than protestants.

Now if we are talking about praying in a private protestant school, then that's fine, but no one is stopping praying there.

To Kenneth McKinney:

While Chan has no contact with this crazy guy that I know of, he absolutely has contact with the People who support Todd Bentley, from the "New Apostolic Reformatiom" cult.

If you search on YouTube this video:

Is there any proof that the Methodist church is born again church?

I ask because I don't believe there is, for some reason it's never labeled as a cult, yet it clearly has always been.

"The UMC was a founding member of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, a pro-abortion group"

Christmas is a wonderful time for me, I'm thankful for this spirit of finishing the year strong, and beginning a new year fresh.

Does Christmas make my devotions any stronger? No, not really, I love reading the Gospels at any time of the year. Does Christmas season build a bridge with my unbelieving friends? Absolutely. There are many lonely people, who I could never encourage if it wasn't for the Christmas spirit.

If you see Christmas as a once a year opportunity to get a spiritual high, then yes it's a problem, and you should be ashamed that Christ is not a daily joy to you.

But to say that Christmas is an evil, satanic holiday is not wise, because the government and the society can easily ban it, and once it's gone, you will miss it. And what will replace it?

Clickbait headlines at it again 😏

I have some for the upcoming Christmas season:

"Trump, on his knees, repents, sells everything and enters Masters Seminary"

"Christmas comes early, Homeless man finds treasure map, you won't believe what he found inside!"

"Ford leaves the car industry, invests in toilet paper manufacturing, experiments with space age technology for a softer wipe."

Tolerate my Trans-Age beliefs, you.. you anti aging.. anti-scientists!

I don't think saying because a new doctrine is new that therefore it's definetely wrong and unbiblical is a good argument, considering that throughout church history baptism = salvation was the norm, and then came early anabaptist theology which was considered new theology.

Much of Reformed doctrine, especially in relation to predestination, original sin, the bondage of the will, and efficacious grace, has been attributed to the work of Augustine.

We also have better education, science, history, new manuscripts, Luther never had the country of Israel, no dead sea scrolls, how could he ever know what Israel is as it was just a desert.

It's more like recovering lost theology, than making up a new one. Just like the trinity. It was always there, but was never systematized until much later.

A legitimate photo with the president would give her a lot of clout in her business back home, she can start a travel agency and put that photo or video and people would come like crazy. Many Chinese don't want to stay in America or return, so this is an easy gamble for them to take if it gives them an opportunity for $$$ back home.

I feel this doctrine is important if you do verse by verse preaching, you will eventually come to a passage where you have to explain your eschatology. I recently had a man tell me he wants to be part of the 144,000 of Revelation. I told him that the bad news he can't be one them because he is not Jewish, but he can be a child of God... Well their teacher interjected and told me he don't interpret things literary in his church. And we had a schism. These things matter, denominations matter, thorough statements of faith matter, or else confusion will come.

He was a role model for an ungodly hollywood lifestyle for many years, now in his old age, not the hunk he was before, decides to try this thing called marriage. Even then it's a wordly definition of marriage, I have no doubt he would encourage LGBT people to get married.

It's crazy how quickly this ideology is spreading, and how radical they are. There is no doubt that if these people get in power, they will throw coloured white people in jail sooner or later for standing up. You can't have conversations with them anymore, but rather confrontations!

First it was ok to call a man dumb, but not ok to call a woman dumb, now it's ok to call whites evil, but not ok to call blacks evil.

These people have gone insaneeeeeeeeeeee!

I just want to say I'm not comfortable thinking about this child's future. It's a blessing he has committed parents to take care of him, but the amount of problems and suffering he experiences is terrifying to me.
