To john lee:

https://www.gotquestions.org/three-days.html

But I disagree that we can be so dogmatic on these things, since it's not mentioned in the bible, and we have to piece together clues and read in too much into the text.

It's no different than trying to figure out many of the doctrines of the end times, luckily we are told not to worry about, as each person considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.”

I do agree with your conviction Frank, but I don't blame the movie makers, as I often wonder why it took so long for a movie like this to be even made, and why believers never made it? There is no shortage of christian films.

It's no different than asking why it took Martin Luther King to fight for blacks, and not believers.

In the end God's will is done, and justice comes to all, the unborn, the unbelievers, and the believers.

Maybe Frank this is something you should get involved in, encourage your church to invest in making such kind of media.

Don't these people pay the tax everytime they buy something? How about secret tariffs on various items? It does not count?

I always thought the real apostles creed was found in acts 15:11:

"But we believe that we will be saved through the grace of the Lord Jesus, just as they will." (Acts 15:11 ESV)

Most if not all people that attend a mosque anywhere have a tendency to hate Israel, and blame the Jew for taking over Palestine. I would assume they represent a large portion in this study.

While I can see this being abused in the future, and it's a sign of things to come for western countries, almost everything that is listed is actually good, it's the police doing their job. Though if you know this country, there is no rule of law, and this is hardly ever enforced unless someone powerful wants you in jail, most stats are faked.

Most of it is to combat illegal bankruptcies, which if ever was enforced in the U.S.A, businessmen like trump would never could become president.

When I was a boy and just got my new cellphone, I tried for the first time the mobile data internet, and got my parents 1000$ bill. I found out I wasn't alone, and many kids did that. There was no warning, or even to shut off the data from overcharge. They've been targeting kids since the beginning.

What hypocrisy, “drawn into a spiral of underachievement or worse” is exactly what is happening in public schools!

Why do blame the media? Should not the church be an even bigger voice?

When I enter a church building, do I want to see stained glass windows of ancient art, or do I want to see the walls plastered with these victims?

She is such a gift from God to the world.

Everytime I see her, what I suffer in life simply cannot be compared.

She is a billboard for the sufficiency of Jesus Christ. What she lacks in physical ability, she has twice the love for her saviour. I pray I can love Jesus more.

Good point Mr. Berean

There's just too much click bait and bad journalism everywhere.

But sending a swat team?!? Don't we know how many times a surprise swat team killed innocent people? It's a lethal weapon to use a swat team. Where was the sherrif, or the LPD? Or the fire department?

the guy below who calls himself Euthanasia, you are sinning, I may not be perfect, but I do my best to be a faithful peacemaker.

I appeal to you, brothers, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be united in the same mind and the same judgment. For it has been reported to me by Chloe's people that there is quarreling among you, my brothers.

Thank you Quiet and for anyone else with a burden for china. I often look at the news from a different perspective, from the inside... looking out, and just get upset that so much of what is written is wrong, or twisted by the journalists.

But unless I open a teleportal and drop you into China, it is really difficult to explain.

May God open up opportunities for your churches to personally visit China someday.

It's to be expected for this reaction,

didn't we have like 5 news articles this week about that very controversial church with thousands of members meeting in an apartment refusing to register and pretending to persecuted for the gospel but actually their goal was bring democracy to communist lands?

Or how about from the same organization and their approval of religious people idolizing their crosses and calling that a good Christian thing to do?

Gee, I wonder how many times next week will hear the same stories repeated over and over again.

Every pastor says that christian bookstores are filled with theological equivalent of poo, yet get their news from just as equally poopy Christianity today.

Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord , and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.
Psalms 37:1‭-‬3 ESV

That's all we can do

Thanks for a wonderful website.

If it helps, I really find the transcriptions and PDFs really useful. Please don't merge them, as the PDF's are often different and contain different content such as a pastors power point presentation, compared to transcribed sermons which are word to word copy of the sermon. It's really good that we can filter between PDF's and transcribes.

I think the most common question "does your mission field has insert developed western thing "

and of course the truth is no, but what prosperity the church lacks in china, is met with some genuine blessing from God, such as more people willing to sacrifice for a good cause. I got my entire mouth of 12 teeth fixed for cheap by a christian dentist.

Every church is held accountable to the grace they receive from God. The chinese church is accountable for the blessings it receives, but so is your church. I would encourage anyone with a burden for china to talk with someone who was there and they will comfirm much of what I say.

As far as children ministry goes, officially you can't bring your kids to church. But from talking with some believers, they take this as God's will to take Responcibility for their kids in their home. Too many people use the church as a babysitting tool, while never attending or contributing much to the church.

My personal experience is no. You can find a Christian bible study in almost every community. There are registered Churches both under the 3 self church movement and independent.

The Seven day Adventist also own their own churches with many members.

I help out a bible school, there are also a few seminaries.

A good resource I enjoy is called China Source:

https://www.chinasource.org/

https://www.chinasource.org/resource-library/chinasource-quarterlies/recently-added

Their journals are detailed with interviews from real Chinese people, as well as missionaries.

Because we are supposed to follow the law of the land, if you have 3000+ people meeting in an apartment, you are supposed to register. Size matters, this is not a gospel issue, unless you can prove me wrong.

The leaders of this church, and this church alone sought trouble, found trouble, hence the beatings. They are not known as peacemakers, just google their name, they are known for going against the government. On the other hand, many other faithful churches are known for being peacemakers, shining brightly. All your info comes from one place: China Aid, Bob Fu, ministry for human rights issues, to establish democracy in communist lands. This is not what Christians are called to do.
