To say this a special time in history is kind of deceiving, considering we don't see public crucifixions of thousands, or barbaric warriors taking over entire countries or maybe even continents ala Genghis Khan.
Were not 7 million Jews murdered for their faith?
The world is ruled by the kingdom of darkness, this is nothing new. But yes, Christians blessed by God with peace, generally use it for selfish needs. What are N.americans doing with the grace God has given you?

Many western missionary orgs and churches have already done the same, they made deals with Pentecostal African churches, Catholics, Seven Day Adventist. About 2 years ago I visited the largest foreign church in Beijing, and during alter call asked them to pray for me, and their prayer was that holy rain would pour out on my city. It was sad, and I felt so alone.

Do we even need to write "Christians" in the title? Considering that this happens to everyone and everywhere in that province not depending on Christianity or religion? Why make victims out of one specific group? And yes that province is hell, and I'm glad it's being reported, but under false assertions, which I assume is done to get more clicks, but it ain't journalism. By the way, no journalist is going to ask how your average mainland citizen church going or not, what they think about this, because they know full well majority of people approve of what the government is doing. So frustrating reading these ignorant articles! They cause so much deceit

Many of them have weak apologetics too, so it's not hard to share the Gospel.
Which is what Christianity Today should of said is the real problem for Youth Leaders... They have no clue what the Gospel is.
All of them suffer from sin, many of them experience death, and many LGBT have much shame, to hear that Jesus Christ eliminated that on the cross, that no matter the sin, God gives everyone who believes in Jesus peace with a Holy God is a powerful message. And no matter how many times I share this, believe or don't believe, everyone always agrees that what Jesus did on the cross is the nicest thing anyone could ever do.

Does not affect me, as I don't use those services along with million other people,, since all three are banned in the middle kingdom. I have more time to read books though and not have a symbiotic relationship with my smart device.

“ Teaching is fun and frustrating ”
I was one of those wanderers when I was in school, skipping and failing all my classes. Now that I'm a teacher, I can easily see myself in some of my students, but I realize that even though I can relate, I cannot help them, as much as I would love to. They don't have that foundation in life that teaches them to make smart life choices, and that is the parent's job. Without that, no matter the opportunities in their life, they will always waste them. I just finished final semester grades, and dealing with failing students, some are shocked that it's even possible to fail, some cheated and got caught, and now don't know how to tell their parents. They played their games, and now have to live out the consequences. It's just too bad they have to learn this from me and not from home.

Most of the Internet is blocked in china, so it helped me quit Facebook, best decision of my life. Even prayer requests on there didn't feel real, compared to a church prayer group.

Praise Jesus for what though? For him winning? This guy's theology and faith are messed up. And yet people praise him. How difficult it must be for him to escape all the false teachers around him.

Last year I got kicked out of an SDA bible study, because I asked "Ellen G White sure has made many trips to heaven" someone then gave me a thumbs up, and then I said how in Islam there is a special horse that carries prophets to heaven, maybe that's how she got in. Got a few complains behind my back, eventually the missionary called me and said why did I make fun of Ellen? So I told him I quit his group, he ask why? And explained how nobody can touch their idol, and I desire to have a face to face conversation with him, but he refused and so I split! SDA is so dangerous, On the surface it looks like they have the gospel, but just them if they can keep the 10 commandments...

Thanks guys, I'm almost recovered.
Flu shots are required for paperwork if you plan to work or study in another country, surprisingly not for china, but was required for study in U.S.A, that's when I caught up on all my flu shots

Same flu here in china recently, I had fever for 4 days. Just tough, especially when you are living alone and need to take care of everything yourself. Flu's are really scary if you think about it, anyone can catch it, strong or weak.

This just isn't getting enough traction, very few people are talking about this. But Knowing that every social media is tracked, sensored this is understandable. And of course everyone I know of understands there are some things you cannot talk about online, or risk get banned and have some nice folks pay a visit to you.

My Iphone 4 was made completely useless by their updates, and I keep my old ipad un-updated. Bought it in 2012, still using it in 2018, it is a high quality product, but will never buy an apple product again.

We should be praying for this man, to do this is inviting temptation and the whole satanic kingdom against him

Helpme said: Is not the nation that calls itself Israel an arbitrary invention of the world system? What is it to support Israel but to call them to repent?

While I see your point, the fact is that many prophesies in Bible could not be fulfilled until the modern creation of Israel, which leads me to believe that this is a divine sign. Things like them winning wars with seemingly impossible odds, making the desert bloom, making Hebrew a national language, in such a short time, has to be a miracle. Do I now go throw money at Israel like many orgs do? No. But I do support Christian ministries to be testimonies to them. And I do sincerely believe, this world is better off with Israel around. Pagans or not, they clearly do much good as a society.

To "helpme":
‚Äúdone everything required by the Law of the Lord‚ÄĚ (Luke 2:39)

That was the Biblical definition of Judaism, doing the Law of the Lord. But then came corruption, and things were added, like Sabbath abuse, and many other things, Jesus rebuked that kind of Judaism in Matthew 23. And obviously it got worse, they claimed to be followers of the prophets, but refused to admit that they killed many of them, and would continue killing them (see stoning of Stephen in Acts 7, and the parable of evil Tenants in Luke 20). So what happened was false teachers, pretending to be shepherds, came and mixed truths with error, and the definition of what it means to be a Biblical Jew got confused.

I always though it was amazing how they brought back the Hebrew language to everyday usage! I had an unbeliever ask me recently to explain the context to The Gospel of John, and it is impossible to do it without giving some kind of history of Israel and Jewish people. I say impossible, yet I know most bible studies do the impossible all the time and ignore Israel.
